Here are today's contestants

preparing for the show.

One will go home with prize money of up to £10,000.

The others leave with nothing

as their team-mates vote them the weakest link.

Any of the nine people in the studio here today could win up to £10,000.

They don't know each other.

If they want the money they'll have to work as a team.

But eight leave with nothing as round by round we lose the player voted the weakest link.

The aim is to answer enough questions to reach £1000 in the time limit.

The fastest way is to create a chain of nine correct answers.

Get one wrong and you break a chain.

But if you say "bank" before the question is asked, the money is safe.

However, you start a new chain from scratch.

Only money that has been banked

can be taken forward.
