Here are today's nine contestants preparing for the show.

Only one will go home with the prize money of up to £10,000.

The others will leave with nothing as their team-mates vote them the Weakest Link.

Any of the nine people in the studio today could win up to £10,000.

They don't know each other. To win the prize money, they'll have to work as a team,

but eight of them will leave with nothing as we lose the players voted the Weakest Link.

Now the rules. In each round,

the aim is to answer enough questions to reach your £1,000 target in the time.

The fastest way is by a chain of nine correct answers.

Get a question wrong and you lose all the money in that chain.

If you say bank before the question is asked, the money is safe. However,

you start a new chain from scratch. Remember,

only money that has been banked can be carried forward. In Round One,

there are three minutes on the clock.
