You know, I go all round this country, and everywhere I go,

I hear people fed up that this country is going backwards.

-How long have you been working here?

-Over 20 years.

-Wow.

-Are times OK for you?

-Well, it's...

-Tough.

-Tough at the moment, yeah.

Not for the richest in our society, not for the millionaires,

but for the people who put in the hours. The people who do the shifts.

The people who open their small businesses early in the morning.

The people who work late at night.

It's for those people that this country is going backwards.

To those people who say there's nothing that can be done,

I say, you're wrong.

I say, I'm going to convince you that you're wrong.

We need a recovery made by the many, not just by a few people at the top.

Do we really believe,

when so many people are going through tough times in this country,

that somebody on £5 million a year

should be getting a £250,000 tax cut?

I say, use that money to protect tax credits that make work pay

for ordinary families in this country.

Let's have a mansion tax, so we can bring back a 10p tax rate.

Do we need a living wage for Bristol?

CROWD: Yes!

We need a living wage for Bristol,

and that is what we're campaigning on.

Do we need more housing in Bristol?

-Yes!

-And that is what we're campaigning on.

Let's put Britain's young people back to work again in this country.

Let's take on the energy company rip-offs

and break the stranglehold of the big six energy suppliers.

We know the way Britain has always succeeded,

the way Britain has always come through the storm,

is with a recovery made by the many.

The only business round here for youth like me is Bluewater.

We go there, and the contracts we have, we can't live on.

Someone needs to stand up for us. Please, give people some hope.

And that is what the people of Britain need. They need hope.

Can we turn this country round? Yes. Yes, we can turn this country round.

But we've got to understand this lesson. We can't do it on our own.

Everyone needs to be part of it.

A country that comes together, a country that joins together,

a country that works together. Hello, sir.
