800 metres. The hard work is done in the winter, so now it is about

competing. I was young when I went to London, so it was more about

getting experience in the lead up to Riou. I am lucky I have had that,

and now I am used to having that support and intensity in an arena.

It is not too intimidating. It is such a fine line between getting

through to the final, getting through and being in the top three,

and that through to being a gold medallist. It is small margins. That

is why there is a complex team around her. We are looking to

develop her underpinning strength qualities for running and running

fast. 800 metres still comes down to sprinting, so she needs to be quick

and needs to be strong and explosive. I like to get out hard in

the races. You can judge from the people outside you how fast you have

gone out and stop we have to break after 100 metres, so everyone comes

into the first line. She is an example of a true professional

athlete. She comes in early, prepare as way beforehand. -- prepares. She

stretches and warms up, which is the difference between a national

champion and being world-class. They have colons between each lane. You

have to make sure not to break early. You have to be aggressive and

assertive, and I guess that sends out a message to your competitors

that you are in the mood to fight and win. Things are done before

training so she is optimal and every session can be as close to the real

thing is possible. It is about how many 100% sessions you can get in

each week leading up to the games. You need to keep concentration, make

sure that you don't drop off speed, but also don't go too fast at this

page, because you still have 300 metres to go. The greatest impact of

the additional funding is increased levels of staff, increased levels of

expertise to help the athletes achieve their dreams. This bend is

probably the hardest part, in that you are really hurting. Your legs
