Last week, a range of different acts took to the stage,

battling it out for a place in our grand final and the £50,000 prize.

Woo!

But they came face-to-face with the 100.

Yeah!

I've never felt so alive!

They are a mix of great singers from across the UK.

If any of the 100 loved a contestant's performance,

they could stand up and join in singing.

The more who joined in, the higher the contestant's score.

-Heading up the 100 is global pop icon Geri.

-Amazing!

This show is more than a singing contest, it's about connecting.

Oh, you made me feel so happy.

Can you connect with 100 people?

All different backgrounds,

and they are all looking for something different.

But pleasing all of the 100 was no easy task.

In the end, The Sundaes won the sing-off,

securing their place in the grand final alongside Michael...

I just love putting on this costume, playing the king

and belting out a few songs.

Have I got chicken in my beard, just before I start?

I was trained as a classical singer,

so opera is also a great passion of mine.

I have cast and directed many musicals,

so I have had the opportunity to judge voices

and characters for some considerable time.

Although I love the voice,

there just wasn't enough to compel me to get up.

I'm quite picky and I want to see good vocal quality,

good song choice, or give me some kind of shiver down the spine,

goose bumps, something of that sort.

I don't think you're the demographic, medieval Nigel.

You'd be surprised what I'm the demographic for.

If I'm not enjoying a performance,

I might well be tempted to order their heads to be chopped off.
