right. We've done this before, but we've never seen a crowd this big

in front of a stage ever in our lives. Are you familiar with the

Mexican Wave, right? There's an awful lot of people who didn't get

tickets at home. For them, we should give them a reverse Mexican

Wave. This is something of my own invention. Everybody in the front

row will duck down. When you see the person in front of you duck

down, that is when you do it, then it goes right up the field with

about 100,000 people in it. Are you ready front row? YES. This is about

threw paint on the entire front row. Noah & The Whale had an amazing day

yesterday at Glastonbury. Today they did an incredible set. There

is strobing during their performance. They were on the John

extremely dapper. I didn't see them, I imagine there is a three piece

Fresh off the stage from the Pyramid Stage, as the sun was

setting, it's Elbow. Lovely to see you guys. Hello. Are you all right?

I'm buzzing. I bet you are. It got emotional at points during your set.

How did it feel having that many people showing that much love?

have never had anything remotely like that. We have had amazing

concerts over the years... Concerts? Did you listen to our new

walkman. We had the best time. When we are going to do a gig, you have

a feeling it's going to be great. It doesn't live up to your

expectations. Other times, you think, it's going to be dodgy this,

it goes great. Yeah. Know for three months that you are going to have a

good gig, because it's Glastonbury. To do it, for it to be perfect.

Stuff like that doesn't happen to us normally. A few moments you

couldn't help but grin on the stage. You could you were elated to be up

there doing it? The best thing about this place is, when you look

into the crowd, you see how many day that is person has been here.

Yeah. You can tell. There was a girl asleep on the barrier. Like,

we came on. She woke up. Yeah. just incredible. It's your 20th

anniversary as a band. Thank you. Happy birthday. Longer than most

marriages. You don't get that for murder. We were talking about your

experiences. You have been coming for a little while. You got here

yesterday? When did I get here? I drove down with a bunch of us. On,

hold on, I'll get this. It will come to you. It's a simple question.

Not last night, the night before. We hit the ground running. We had

fun, me, Craig and our girlfriends. You are described as being the

People's band, I imagine you walking around and experiencing it

properly. Did you do that? Did you see much? Yes. I saw saw the best

band playing at the moment. I have seen them five times in the last

six months. They are amazing. When I listen to them, it's like when I

listened to Pixies for the first time I couldn't believe what I was

hearing. They did a great set today much I was banging around in the

mud. A couple of guys I met in Salmond ford come up and said, "all

right, guy, doing all right tonight, aren't they". I've got walkman

mates. Jay-Z has been walking around. He saw your set. I heard

Beyonce was there. It might be a lie. I have been handed this

mysterious note here. A question from Lucas on Facebook. How did you

come up with your crouching Mexican Wave, which was very cool, by the

way? It was for a video for... Leaders. Was it not For get Myself.

No, it was leaders. Dillon and Zas were on it. He is absolutely right.

It was for the video for Leaders of the Free World had monsters that we

were shrankishing from the world. They started at the Houses of

Parliament. We wanted them to send out a sonic wave over the crowd

much we asked a crowd at the festival to do a reverse Mexican

Wave like they were ducking a laser beam. It's a terrible video.
