afternoon. Of Monsters & Men. love day, everyone is blissing out,

which leads me to our lovely guests, Vampire Weekend, everybody. Hi,

boys. Hi. Hi, lads, how you doing? Good. This is your third

Glastonbury. How is the pyramid Stage stepping up from the other

stages? I'm sorry, we had privacy last time. I'll amend the question.

How does the other stage compare to the Pyramid? Do you feel more

stressed? The other stage was the first time we played for the whole

crowd, so that experience will stick with us for the rest of our lives.

Definitely. It will be hard to top that initial, like, you know, jaws

dropping at the size of the crowd because we have never played for a

crowd that big ever in 2008. Then the Pyramid Stage, we were ready for

it last time, but it's always fun to play. Some serious dancing was going

on. I went to watch it on my own from the side of the stage and I

couldn't helpism - help it. Your music makes your limbs move. I feel

like everybody was bouncing along with you. Did you see a lot of

dancing happening? Yes.It's really loud, by the way, if you are feeling

like this is a bit crazy. Nick Cave is banging on in the background.

It's kind of crazy. But it's glass toe, that's what happens! -- Glasto.

Do you feel like you have grown up as a band, 2008 was your first one,

do you feel like you are more OK with all this and chilled out?

Definitely feel less nervous. Seeing this many people definitely made us

feel like a little scared in the beginning, but now it feels very

comfortable. We can kind of like relax more. You are comfortable

playing Glastonbury itself because you will have grown up as music fans

and gone, this is the place I want to go back to again and to be asked

back a number of times must be a great feeling, to be part of the

furniture here? Over the course of making three albums, as opposed to

one, we have a range of songs we can draw from different moods and

different, just like, different, raise different spirits, kind of

thing. Also as a band who've got three albums, the third of which has

just come out and which is a stonker, by the way, it must be hard

to put the set list together because you have only X amount of time to

put it together so you must have arguments. Easier than you think.

Today we were talking about it, we wanted to put another one from the

new album in so we thought we could figure it out. We thought we could

play everything, but no, no, no, you have to take one out if you put one

in, hopefully people hear what you want to hear. I love the reference

you made to the Hoover songs is one you have written about, lovely thing

to write a song about someone and they get it played at Glastonbury.

Not if it's a nasty song you have written about somebody. This one's

Hi, I'm up at the park stage. There's an act playing right now,

it's a bit noisy, but Laura Mvula, you played there earlier today.

did. How was the show?It was, I think, one of the best shows I've

ever had, if I'm honest. Why so good? Well, it was the last of the

three shows that I've done here at Glastonbury. We had such an amazing

turnout. I didn't expect so many people to be there and they were all

really engage and excited about the music. So it felt really good.

view from up here is incredible. What is it like when you are on the

park stage? It's as incredible, it's just the other side of it, you know.

There's nothing more magical than sunshine and live music and smiling

faces, it's been properly amazing. And how has the whole weekend been?

The whole weekend? One of your first festivals? One of my first festivals

and my first Glastonbury. I think if I had to say in one word, it would

be epic. Just far more than I could have imagined. Loads of people said

it's so difficult to describe, it's such an amazing experience and it

has been all that and more. Wow. We just went and had like a tomato

fight, I got covered in tomatoes, I had to wash behind a Portakabin with

a bottle of water. You smell lovely! What is the craziest thing you have

seen all weekend? Lots of things, but for meal the sheer excitement of

so much music, so loud all the time -- for me. It was incredible. I just

saw the line to the loo, which is quite extended. Sorry?The line to

the toilets. I thought that was a band!

Actually, that's a good name, I might keep that. Do you want to
