Earth, Wind and Fire. Thank you for joining us for a lovely fireside

chat. How are you doing? We have this great new record which of

course reflects the original sound, that great original sound of Earth,

Wind and Fire that people love. What is it that - people have loved it

for years, what is it that - why do people love it so much? It's up

music, happy music and you feel better when you leave than when you

came. What could be better than this?! I hope people feel like that

after they watch this show. It's the energy of this room. This room has

great energy. You couldn't come and play for us tonight, but would you

at some point? It would be great to hear you. We would love to. We will

come back and play. One of your biggest hits was Boogie Wonderland.

Is that right that it was a surprise hit? It was not - we weren't chasing

after the disco craze at that time. Boogie Wonderland was being produced

by somebody that was a part of a Maurice production company and

Maurice heard it and decided he wanted to do it on us. We had no

intention of jumping into the disco pool. And suddenly it was one of the

biggest ones on planet earth. Exactly. I am delighted to say we

have photographic evidence with moving pictures over here.

that this gentleman over there was dancing away to it. Yes! There he

was, you were having a dance. You couldn't stop. The whole band

dancing, that's how great it is. You have covered his songs. Yes, Got To

gets together. Did you know they all make friends like that with your

music? I didn't know that, but thank you, I love it. What a nice circular

room this is. I think that - you have been sampled a lot. You have

had samples taken from you if I may say so, from all sorts of people,

Jay Z, Public Enemy the lot. Do you like being sampled, is it good or

bad? If you think about it it's a different way of marketing your

songs. Especially if - we are like a legacy kind of act so for someone to

pick one of our songs and bring it to the present day situation, we

love it. That's right. You have been quoted by new people. We can't

complain at all. You don't seem like complainers to me. We are longing
