they all cite you as the first... All gullible. What was it that was

different about you, as a guitarist when you first started playing? I

was just weird. Show us some of that weirdness, would you? Two things

really, Jools. One was the echo I used. It's a bit weird tonight but

don't worry about that. The second thing I learned to, with heavy

strings in those days use this thing here... So you can get... You

couldn't do that because the strings were heavy. It was a sound which

people kind of liked. Like the intro of this. And so on. It's unique,

amazing sound. Thank you. Keep talking! Tell us about the guitar,

that was another thing, the red guitar. Everybody knows that. Cliff

bought me the first guitar, we waut it -- bought it directly from the

US. This is a copy of that. It's a series of models the shop made,

based on that 59. Where is the first original one? There is an

interesting story. It belongs to Cliff really. He lent it to Bruce

who never returned it. He is probably taking his time, probably

busy sorting other things out. You have a new record out. If you tune

in on Friday we will have a longer chat. You have a new record out on

June 2nd. You are doing a lot of great songs instrumentally, what can

people expect? A great album. That's what I thought, that's what I meant

to say. Of course you did! It's a combination of material I like. The

Kinks Waterloo Sunset. Songs that have a feel of the summer. With this

weather we all have a feel of the summer. This live moment, I think

it's torrential rain covering the British Isles! This album will cheer

you up no end. I am looking forward to hearing that, in fact, I have

heard it. If I put it on t might even change the weather. Thank you
