Fearne & Greg Reading and Leeds Festival

Hello and welcome to day two of the Reading Festival. Last night we

were treated to The Cure. Tonight we are live until midnight with

Kasabian. They will be on that Main Stage. Before that, they will pop

to our Tree House and have a chat with us. Also The Vaccines will

swing by. They are on now. They are. We have acoustics from Jake Bugg

and Theme Park. I saw him earlier, he was phenomenal. We will see some

of Florence + The Machine's beautiful set. One of the worst-

kept secrets. A huge band played here earlier who you will see later

on. They might have a colour in their name. Blue. Pink? Who was it?

I'm not going to tell you! I have had a terrible morning. I woke up

with a plan to watch a band on the Introducing Stage. I realised they

were on tomorrow! I went to the Main Stage and I watched The Shins

Special band, Alt-J, on the BBC Introducing Stage yesterday. Now,

we have Kasabian here. Hello. are you? Hi. You played your first

show at Reading and Leeds eight years ago. Tonight, you are

headlining. That must be a wonderful feeling? We deserved this.

We have worked so hard to get here. Yeah, we deserve it, man. Look at

everyone, they are buzzing! The energy is good. We deserve it.

are a really good crowd. They will go mental for you lot. We saw The

Vaccines. It looks like everyone is going mental! They are. It is great.

It's been a great weekend so far. It is a nice way to end your summer,

to headline this place, isn't it? Like I said, we deserve it!

LAUGHTER I think it is the best rock 'n' roll line-up in England.

It probably beats Glastonbury. Maybe I should say that, maybe I

shouldn't. What was really nice - I was at your Brixton show on Monday.

I know you can do stadiums and festivals. To get you in a little

room like Brixton, that was the best show I have seen you do. That

was sweaty and drunk and rowdy. That was just you! We came on stage

and there was something happened that night. We played the set we

are going to play tonight to test it. It was great. A couple of

people fainted in front of me! was a hectic show. Is it good to be

back in the UK at the moment? You have young families now. It must be

lovely to be in the country? It is beautiful, you know. We have

manager, or somebody, tried to pretend to drag them off stage and

they had some leaf blower which spat out toilet roll, which was

nice(!) I heard about that. You can probably see behind us that it's a

probably see behind us that it's a little bit wet. It is unreal out

there. It is very wet. But, you are in the best place to see the rest

of tonight's line-up. It will happen whatever. You will be dry.
