final night of T In The Park, 2011. The moment is finally here, we have

your headliners, the Foo Fighters, who are doing an incredible job on

the main stage. We're going to make you wait a little bit longer, to

give you an idea of how eager the Foos are to go on stage. They must

be the only band in history. Ever. Who have asked to go on stage

earlier. They're on a role at the minute. They're on tours and

festivals all over the place. The set is ranging from two hours to

four hours. Who knows how long they're going to be on for. We

could be here for breakfast. They are having an incredible run. Not

only are they killing it when they're live, their album knocked

off Adele in the albull chart. They've had a back to the future as

well. They recorded the album in Dave's garage. Love that. They are

in an amazing position. Amazing in terms of the amount of material

they've got to pull from. It's incredible. Who knows what the set

is going to go tonight. We have it all here after we have the story so

far. Foo Fighters have come a long way since their 1995 debut album.

Just how did Dave Groll end up as one of the most loved front men?

And along the way how was he crowned with titles as "got-like

genius" Maybe this might get sort of nuts. The Foo Fighters' story

started small with a demo tape Dave made by himself after nirvana.

started making cassettes for friends and eventually it got out.

People from record companies started hearing it and calling my

house. Foo Fighters may have started as a one-man project. Once

the music was out, there was no way Dave was keeping it to himself for

very long. He formed the band to take Foo Fighters on the road,

though the line up changed over the years, album by album they forthed

their own place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

They first rocked the main stage at Three years later, and they were

back. This time, they were headlining.

The band and the crowd were loving it. You know me make me break out

becoming legends of rock. They took on this mantle with the utter

seriousness it deserved. Even in their music videos they were always

dressed to impress. You know what, cross-dressing is

sort of something we reserve just for videos. Really? And barbeques.

But you can be sure the boys from the Foo Fighters are very serious

about making T In The Park 2011 go Incredible. I don't think you can

argue, they are deserving of the main stage status. Foofiegterers

here at T in the Park, and we have so much of their performance, the

whole thing in fact. I would like them to reenact some of their

videos. The videos are legendary. The new ones are stripped back,

them playing. I love the cube. Learn to fly, what a brilliant

video. Loved that. Dave in a fat suit, something you want to see

every day. I went down to the main stage, but the anticipation was

incredible. It was absolutely ramo. Everyone was excited to see them.

This is going to be unbelievable. Are you ready? Yeah. O'Kay. Right,

this gentleman was lucky enough to go side of stage as the Foo

Fighters took to the stage. Check this out.

prepped and ready. There are tons of people out there ready to see

this lot. Foo Fighters are here. It looks like everyone is completely

closing set here at T in the Park 2011. There on the main stage,

people were loving every minute of that. I reckon they could have gone

on for hours and hours. They wanted to. The only band in history who

have asked to go on early. Exactly. It's been an incredible weekend of

live music. We've seen some amazing things and been through cool stuff

while we've been here as well. I love Metronomy. And the Streets
