I'm going to dedicate this song to a friend who lost a friend. This

one goes out to my friend Lemmy from Motorhead. Because my good

:09:45.:09:55.

friend Lemmy lost a good friend of his today, a guy, who you might not

:09:55.:10:00.

know, but any friend of Lemmy is a friend of mine. So this one goes

:20:01.:20:20.

# I've got another confession to make Thank you, good night. Oh, how

:20:20.:20:25.

does he do that. If you want to see more, we're showing the entire set

:20:25.:20:30.

on BBC Three at 10.45. BBC introducing is about unsigned,

:20:30.:20:35.

under the radar musicians, the chance to get on a stage at a big

:20:35.:20:40.

festival and show us what they've got. Our voice and ears of BBC

:20:40.:20:46.

introducing is alley McCrae with the best of BBC introducing.

:20:46.:20:50.

I've been coming to T in the Park since I was 16 years old. For me

:20:50.:20:54.

the best part of the festival is seeing young bands on the small

:20:54.:20:57.

stages, before they become megastarts. This is the place that

:20:57.:21:07.
:21:07.:21:10.

happened. This is the BBC Right so we are all about every

:21:10.:21:14.

kind of genre of new music. That includes hip-hop. Therecy

:21:14.:21:18.

flourishing hip-hop scene in Scotland. At the top of the pile is

:21:18.:21:23.

this man. How was that set for you? Amazing. That was crazy. Tell us a

:21:23.:21:30.

bit about how it felt to be part of the BBC introducing? It felt

:21:30.:21:35.

amazingly. It just all Spiraled, through Vic playing me back in the

:21:35.:21:39.

day, to go -- to going on the show, you playing me and coming here.

:21:39.:21:45.

Hopefully you can put me in touch with Westwood. We'll see what we

:21:45.:21:55.
:21:55.:22:01.

I think this is the reason why they come, to find new music. Want to

:22:01.:22:04.

give the smaller bands a chance to be heard, to be scene. This gives

:22:04.:22:09.

an opportunity to be on a bigger stage. Yeah, and have a crowd that

:22:09.:22:13.

you'd not normally have. T In The Park, put your hands together for

:22:13.:22:23.
:22:23.:22:36.

one of the most exciting bands in How do you feel? Awesome. Out of

:22:36.:22:43.

breath. That reaction was unbelievable. BBC interdueing, sum

:22:43.:22:49.

it up? How's the experience been for you? Top notch. Really cool.

:22:49.:22:54.

Crazy. That's only a taster of the 22 bands we've had on the stage

:22:54.:22:57.

this weekend. If you want to see more highlights go online and

:22:57.:23:01.

remember, if you're making music in this country, you can send your

:23:01.:23:08.

music to us, via the BBC introducing uploader. Go to

:23:08.:23:15.

bbc.co.uk/introducing and that might be you next year.

:23:15.:23:24.

I love Ally. I liked what I heard last night. KT Tunstall is here.

:23:24.:23:28.

It wouldn't be T in the Park if I didn't chat to you. It's lovely to

:23:28.:23:32.

be here. It's so nice to be here. How long since you have been here?

:23:32.:23:37.

I don't know, at least three years I think. Wow. You've been off and

:23:37.:23:41.

got married, travelled the word. Wrote an album. I remember this was

:23:41.:23:48.

the first festival that I ever came to. Dito. In the back of a transit

:23:48.:23:57.

called -- singing with a band called Scooby Doo collaboration. It

:23:57.:24:03.

doesn't feel it's changed that much. Today were you... It's amazing.

:24:03.:24:08.

It's, the atmosphere in that place is undescribable. It's a feat of

:24:08.:24:10.

camping technology. I don't understand how you can have a tent

:24:10.:24:14.

that fits 10,000 people. It's brilliant. How was it? Great. I

:24:14.:24:20.

have to say that if I had to choose, I'd probably go with the tent as a

:24:20.:24:24.

gig. Because you're just really sweaty and close and everyone os

:24:24.:24:28.

packed in to see it. You can really see the whites of people's eyes.

:24:28.:24:33.

It's such a good vibe. Even though there's 10,000 people this there,

:24:33.:24:37.

you get incredible intimacy. Yeah, I had a new experience this year. I

:24:37.:24:43.

got hit by quite a lot of stuff. This was fine. Soft toys or? There

:24:43.:24:47.

was liquid, which I didn't really... Don't investigate that. I didn't

:24:47.:24:53.

analyse. But there was a few missiles of the plastic bottle

:24:53.:24:58.

flavour, which actually got me quite fired up. I quite liked it.

:24:58.:25:03.

That's not to say I want to encourage that at my gigs or other

:25:03.:25:08.

gigs. Any way... Is there kind of slap bang in the middle of a summer

:25:08.:25:14.

of festivals and tours? Yeah pretty much in the middle. Glasto we've

:25:14.:25:19.

had. I've come straight from Belgium and Latitude next weekend.

:25:19.:25:26.

Going up to the outer Hebrides for heb kelt felt Val and playing

:25:26.:25:32.

Orkney as well. Have you done that before? No, I can't wait. There's

:25:32.:25:37.

something cool doing a festival on an island where you're captive.

:25:37.:25:43.

want to see your performance. This is Katie earlier on today in the

:25:43.:25:53.
:25:53.:25:54.

This song is for anybody who has been through a horrible break up.

:25:54.:25:57.

That's pretty much everyone. This song is about the fact you can do

:25:57.:26:07.
:26:07.:26:22.

# Oh, oh, oh, # Come on

:26:22.:26:32.
:26:32.:26:52.

# We could make it easy # We could do it right

:26:52.:26:55.

# Because you know the time has come

:26:55.:27:02.

# It must be done # We're going down

:27:02.:27:07.

# Down hey, hey # Come on

:27:07.:27:14.

# See the light # Come on

:27:14.:27:24.
:27:24.:27:32.

# The door is open # Got to do it

:27:32.:27:38.

# Got to do it soon hrb got to get this evil beast out of the room

:27:38.:27:48.
:27:48.:27:49.

# Because he's greedy # I let him creep up on us from

:27:49.:27:51.

behind # He's not getting you

:27:51.:28:01.
:28:01.:28:08.

# Because you know the time has # Come on, can you see the light?

:28:08.:28:15.

# Come on, you know it feels right # The door is open, are you gonna

:28:15.:28:18.

take the ride? # We're playing it all wrong

:28:18.:28:25.

# That's why I'm saying it, come on, get in

:28:25.:28:35.
:28:35.:28:40.

# Get in # Na, na, na, na

:28:40.:28:44.

# I'll take the anger # You take the pain

:28:44.:28:51.

# And we'll promise that we won't go back again

:28:51.:28:56.

# Because the time has come # We could break these chains

:28:56.:28:59.

# And baby we could run # So keep your eyes on the road

:29:00.:29:04.

# Keep your hands on the wheel ksh because we know the time is right

:29:04.:29:14.
:29:14.:29:15.

# We just might make it going downhill.

:29:15.:29:20.

# Come on, can you see the light? # Come on, you know it feels right.

:29:20.:29:30.
:29:30.:29:33.

# The door is open # Are you gonna take the ride?

:29:33.:29:40.

# Come on, can you see the light? # Come on, you know it feels right.

:29:40.:29:44.

# The door is open # Are you gonna take the ride?

:29:44.:29:47.

# We're playing it all wrong, that's why I'm saying it

:29:48.:29:52.

# Come on, get in # Get in

:29:52.:30:02.
:30:02.:30:09.

# Come on # I love KT Tunstall. Charlotte

:30:09.:30:15.

Hathaway on guitar. I saw that. Saw Katie, she was fantastic. What a

:30:15.:30:20.

character as well. We know her well. We grew up with her. Saw a bit of

:30:20.:30:25.

KT Tunstall. Saw a bit of Tinie Tempaah. I've had a really varied

:30:25.:30:30.

day. I've been running round the site. Saw a band called United

:30:30.:30:37.

Fruit. Saw a bit of BBC introducing. Saw dot JR there. Meeting loads of

:30:37.:30:39.

punters and having great conversations everywhere. There's

:30:39.:30:43.

been a bit of mud, there's been a bit of rain. But the highlight of

:30:43.:30:48.

my day was meeting Blondie. wow! I grew up with Blondie right,

:30:48.:30:55.

I managed to interview Christine, and Debbie Harry from the band. We

:30:55.:31:00.

hit it off. You know when you do an interview and you bond with the

:31:00.:31:04.

band. You're off for dinner with Blondie, is that what you're

:31:04.:31:09.

saying? I would like to say so, but I think they're playing London.

:31:09.:31:12.

That was an absolute highlight for me. I've been having a great time.

:31:13.:31:17.

The band that we're going to check out a tune by wrt band that started

:31:17.:31:24.

my day. I got here pretty early about 11.55am, this band took to

:31:24.:31:28.

the stage. To me, they're one of the best bands around, whether it's

:31:28.:31:34.

Scotland or beyond. They've released a couple of records on

:31:34.:31:39.

Chemical Underground records. Check mate savage the first one and the

:31:39.:31:44.

Want the second. Here they're playing the acoustic version of

:31:44.:31:54.
:31:54.:31:59.

everybody knows it's true. It's the # When I was a falling bird

:31:59.:32:09.
:32:09.:32:10.

# Everybody stay add way # Everybody craned their heads

:32:10.:32:20.
:32:20.:32:21.

# To see my change in shape # And the weightless dance

:32:21.:32:31.
:32:31.:32:31.

# Against a torch light moon # Everybody knows it's true

:32:31.:32:38.

# The ship that sailed on its deck with sand

:32:38.:32:45.

# And I combed my hair and prayed, do not take us down

:32:45.:32:52.

# We we're made of stone and we are not hollow

:32:52.:33:02.
:33:02.:33:05.

# Everybody knows it's true # From the shallow to the top

:33:05.:33:15.
:33:15.:33:16.

# Everybody wants to learn, but the cost is just the words

:33:16.:33:26.
:33:26.:33:34.

# I crucify my own # Everybody knows it's true

:33:34.:33:39.

# It was an arresting time # Like a secret care

:33:39.:33:49.
:33:49.:33:50.

# Like the saddest rainbow, which you tied into my bones

:33:51.:33:57.

# Faded to blue # Everybody knows it's true

:33:58.:34:04.

# Not in my life # Barely rich enough from the

:34:04.:34:11.

shadow to the top # Everybody wants to learn, but the

:34:11.:34:21.
:34:21.:34:29.

cross is by the words I crucified my own.

:34:29.:34:39.
:34:39.:34:39.

Apology for the loss of subtitles for 107 seconds

:34:39.:35:22.

# Everybody knows it's true Wow. Thank you so much, guys.

:35:22.:35:27.

Really appreciate you coming in. Andy, what is that thing you're

:35:27.:35:33.

playing, I want one? This is a kaso from about 1982 or something like

:35:33.:35:39.

that. I think it's meant to be a children's toy. It's got a

:35:39.:35:46.

calculator. I've got one. How was T for you today? Lovely. Muddy.

:35:46.:35:50.

are things going at the moment, I know you're down in London recently.

:35:50.:35:55.

A couple of friends saw you at a gig, which they said was incredible.

:35:55.:35:59.

Things are picking up in terms of people knowing about you and the

:35:59.:36:05.

music is fab. I hope stkpwhro. What are your plans? Latitude next week.

:36:05.:36:10.

We're playing on Friday. We're playing Belgium on the Friday night

:36:10.:36:17.

and the festival on the Saturday. It's the B weekend. I want some

:36:17.:36:26.

sleep. A few hours sleep. No! Plans for a new album, are you thinking

:36:26.:36:29.

about that? Early days yet? We've got a few ideas. Probably take

:36:29.:36:34.

about three years to come to fruition. I'm sure we can wait.

:36:34.:36:39.

Hopefully you'll still remember us by then. Really appreciate you

:36:39.:36:44.

coming in. It's great when you come in and do that for us. The Phantom

:36:44.:36:47.

Band everybody. Check out the two albums they have for you. Please do

:36:47.:36:53.

check them out. Now, Foo Fighters, whole set is coming to you on BBC 3,

:36:53.:36:57.

very, very shortly. So make sure you stay tuned for that. We have

:36:57.:37:03.

:37:16.:37:19.

:37:19.:37:22.

just seeing those big bands an the way they finish their sets is

:37:23.:37:26.

something that I think you guys need to relive. We're going to

# I turn the music up # I've got my records on

:38:02.:38:05.

# I shut ut world outside until the lights come on

:38:05.:38:11.

# Maybe the trees are gone # I feel my heart stop beating

:38:11.:38:19.

# And all the kids they dance, # But till Monday morning feels

:38:19.:38:22.

another path # I turn the music up

:38:22.:38:32.
:38:32.:38:44.

# I'm on a role this time and # I turn the music up,

:38:44.:38:53.

# I turn the music up # Don't want to see

:38:53.:38:55.

# Maybe I'm in the black, maybe I'm on my knees

:38:55.:38:58.

# Maybe I'm in the gap between the two trapezes

:38:58.:39:02.

# But my heart is beating and my pulses start

:39:02.:39:06.

# Cathedrals in my heart

:39:06.:39:11.

# As we saw

:39:11.:39:15.

# Oh, this light

:39:15.:39:19.

# I swear you emerge blinking into

:39:19.:39:23.

# To tell me it's all right

:39:23.:39:27.

# As we soar walls

:39:27.:39:34.

# Every siren is a symphony

:39:34.:39:38.

# And every tear's a waterfall

:39:38.:39:43.

# Is a waterfall, ah

:39:43.:39:47.

# Is a waterfall, ah

:39:47.:39:50.

# Is a waterfall

:39:50.:39:55.

# Every tear is a waterfall, ah

:39:55.:39:59.

# So you can hurt

:39:59.:40:02.

# Hurt me bad

:40:02.:40:06.

# But still I'll raise

:40:06.:40:12.

# The flag

:40:12.:40:20.

# Oh

:40:20.:40:24.

# It was a wa-ah-ah-ah, waterfall

:40:25.:40:29.

# A wa-ah-ah-ah, waterfall

:40:29.:40:39.
:40:39.:40:54.

# Oh, oh

:40:54.:40:57.
