I'm so excited. The 19th year of T in the Park. Look at that, 85,000

people over the weekend. Every day this weekend we descend on the

field. T in the Park this weekend, it is Scotland's fifth largest town.

I only speak the truth. So there must be a Mayor is. The Mayor you?

Check out my Mayor bling. It is an elephant. Hang on, mayoress. We

have an amazing line-up. You may be able to hear Example on stage at

the moment, and Jessie J and Kasabian. Later we have Tinie

Tempah and Nicky minage, and we have The Maccabees. You are excited

about them are you? I'm excited every time someone mentioned their

name. And we have loads more for you. Example is nailing it by the

sound of things. You saw him in the dressing room? He was in his

dressing room with his door open, with headphones on, singing his own

tunes at the top of his voice. Where's my bouncing crew? That's

what he does. Professor Green, we'll be finding out about them

later on. We have some akuesting performances. Tonight we've got --

acoustic performances. Tonight we've got Labrinth. And we finish

the show with Tinie Tempah. The headliner on the Main Stage is Snow

Patrol, back at T in the Park for their 8th time. If you want to

watch the entire set uninterrupted, 10.20pm on the Main Stage on the

Red Button. And we have Gemma Cairney, it is her first ever T in

the Park. Have you passed on words of wisdom? The worst thing is the

security fences around the outside, because they are see-through.

Gemma has been up to so far today. T in the Park may seem a bit

overwhelming but it is one of the friendliest festivals in the world.

It is my first time presenting at T and it is Emeli Sande's first time

performing at T. Sear her on the Main Stage on Saturday night. Emily

has collaborated with Professor Green. He was nominated for a BRIT

Award this year, as were Elbow. See them on the Main Stage on Sunday.

There's five band members in Elbow. Calvin Harris, you can catch him on

Saturday night. He produced Example's album. Example worked

with Chase & Status, who went on tour with Tinie Tempah this year.

And Tinie Tempah, he is performing on the NME Stage tonight. If he is

wearing a kilt, I shall hake that noise! So there you go, we really

are all connected here at T in the Park. Ah, I really am starting to

feel part of the T family. Let's get it on! Oh, man, she's going to

have the best time, and discover things at T in the Park I don't

think anyone else has discovered. You see thing that you don't see

anywhere else. Things you shouldn't see. You will never forget them.

done, Ricky. It is a long way up that Main Stage isn't it? It is

about six foot and I'm about seven foot, as you know. Anyway, carry on.

Was it nice to watch? We were at the side of the stage. It was an

incredible crowd reaction I thought. What did you think about it, Si?

Tremendous. Can I tell you what some of our viewers think? They are

Dec's Saturday Night Take away. less free clothes. We looked

ridiculous. Buying in charity shops and suddenly we looked like idiots.

At one point I was living in a hotel in London and tipping the

porters with trainers. They would come to my room with my club

sandwich and I would go, "What size are you? 8 -and-a-half in no

problem." David on Facebook asks what's the strangest thing that's

been thrown on stage at you? Strangest thing? The other day I

got a pair of pants, which is not unusual, but they were wrapped in a

rose. To make them small nicer probably. The strangest thing?

you want to go and watch them? I want to stay here and talk to the

British public about music. Tell us about that set. T in the Park, have

you got a great relationship with it? We played our first in between

Bravery and Bloc Party, and then between Red Hot Chilli Peppers. The

third time we headlined the stage with Kasabian. And now we're back.

We've had a great time. It's like a big family back-stage. This is what

makes it different to other festivals, the back-stage area is

not segregated. Anyone from any stage is in the same compound.

Who've you been hanging out with? Tribes. Snow Patrol, you know.

Krebbs were there. Elliot Grieve. Did you see Example? I missed him,

as I was having a shower. But see him warming up? He was walking

about with his headphones on with his own tunes blasting in his ears

and singing away. I didn't see, that as that was during our set, so

that means that you weren't listening to us? I was doing an

interview. Walked through and the guy said, "Can I see your pass?" I

said, "We don't give these away with cornflakes." And then I saw

you talking to Snow Patrol. You will probele see that later. Kids,

if you want to get into a festival, sweat a lot and wear in-ears.

Pleasure to be here. How are you? I'm good. Long time no see. I'm

really good. I've just come back from the One Direction tour in

America. My ears are still hurting. We did a couple of gigs in Ireland,

in Cork. And now I'm here in T in the Park. I'm really choughed to be

here. I'm on the Radio 1 and NME Stage. Some would say the best

stage. I was just going to say that. A great radio station.

Professor Green is on as well and Tinie Tempah. I'm honoured to be

here. People won't necessarily look at me as a festival performer.

loudest? I said T in the Park isn't for the faint-hearted. You come to

this festival I've heard you have to be hard skinned. I walked

through and the amount of girls I saw with skimpy tops on and shirts,

geezers walking through with her tops off. This is hard core. It is

well known that you were a semi professional footballer. I was.

People think that tur really good at it. I was alright. I want you to

set me a challenge. Set you a challenge? I will beat the keepy

uppy challenge. If you beat me in them wellies, I will be so

surprised. 11! Oh, my God. It hit my knee. That's like the worst

thing ever. I'm terrible at football. If you can beat 11 in

13! Damn it! Amazing. Can I just say anyone who

knows me from school will know that that was a complete fluke. I it was

guy who was the goalkeeper because I was the worst. That was a

television fluke and it will never happen again. In wellies! Mum, if
