in the Park for you. That's quite surreal. It's been a quick ten. It's

a record-breaking ten. You're the band that's played the most here? I

believe we are. I think we've played pretty much every stage you can see

from here, including the fair ground rides. It's been amazing. It's gone

hand in hand with our history as a band, this festival. It's amazing to

be here this year. Your story is all about T In The Park, signing here

and now coming back to headline, it's full circle. I suppose, people

don't know that you did actually sign because you played on the stage

here. Yeah, absolutely, you used to have to enter a competition to play

the T Break stage. We won by bringing all our friends... You were

competition winners in Yeah we were. That's why we're here. People say

battle of the bands don't Exactly. It work. Was every rule we got told

not to do and we did it. It brought us here. If we hadn't have played

this festival, we wouldn't have released welcome. Thanks and you're

welcome and sorry. You seem very relaxed. Judging by those shorts,

you're very relaxed. We have to be careful, just check you don't pop

out. You seem very relaxed about this show. I know you're very

excited about it, because it means a lot. It's a thin facade. We are

nervous, as we are at any big show, but we're trying to enjoy it. We've

realised that over the last 18 months, you've got to enjoy. It I

think we find it a little more, we're not being so hard on

ourselves. We're taking it as it comes, which is nice. Also, this is

the last time that T in the Park will be on this site, does it mean a

little bit more that you're ending the festival on a high? Yeah all our

T In The Park experiences are from this particular site. It's a shame

it's moving on. In a way we're happy because we will always have the

record for here. It's really great to be headlining in the last year

that this is happening here. It just means a lot to us. It's hard to put

into words. I think we'll be able to show it more on stage perhaps. I

want to talk about beat Please do boxing. . There was a rumour, beat

boxing on the new record? There was, there was a rumour. It's happening?

It's happening, yeah. It will happen. Ben is a big fan. I love the

the massive wind up, no, we're not. Someone misheard me, we've enjoyed

going along with. It I don't think our mouths belong in the world of

beat boxing. Yeah, it takes many years to master that art. We're not

going to jump on board now. Beat boxing is out of the picture. What

else is planned? When you headlined at Reading, huge pyrotechnics. How

can you top that? I guess more explosions and things. Yes! Some

people like to play it more subtle headlining, we love rock music, big

rock shows. For us, it's got to be throwing everything at it including

the kitchen sink. You will see it all tonight. Maybe all of it right

warm-ups, which is very rock-and-roll, then drink some booze

today. That band has earned their spots. Things going very well in the

UK, but also in America. Things going very well. That's You Me At

Six. I always thought festivals it would be back stage, people getting

drinks, snogs, crazy. But it's just a lot of bands going, "really tired"

It is. But you must actually be incredibly tired, because you have

had an insane Yes, for week. Viewers that don't know, on my Radio 1 show,

we did G in the park, G standing for Greg, that's me, my name. We did a

festival where I stayed overnight in BBC Scotland and we invited some

brilliant bands to be the headliners. 1975 were there, Bombay

bicycle club and Twin Atlantic were on the show earlier day. There were

loads of highlights. We had listeners to camp out with us. See
