Team Tom is strong.

Now, Tom has the power to protect the future of one of his artists

by sending them straight through to the quarter-finals.

And they won't have to sing a note to get there. So, Tom.

Which of your team are you going to send straight through

to the live finals?

Well...

The person that I'm going to send straight through,

you know they're doing something that is in their heart.

You know, and they're not really listening

to what their peers are telling them.

This is the way it sounds to me.

It's been a hard decision.

But the one that I'm going to send straight through is...

And I love that, so that's what I see in her.

I have to do it properly, and I have to bring out the big guns.

At band rehearsal, I did a note that was wrong

and I got really embarrassed.

You just think, I don't want to flop right in front of Tom Jones.

It's not a good look.

This competition means so much, and it can change my life,

it can change me and my children's life.

In my head, this is my last chance.

She feels very strongly about the way she performs.

If she can keep that in her mind,

then she's got a good chance of going through.

Jamie is a 6 ft 5 soul singer.

You wouldn't expect that kind of stuff to come out of this big man.

He has a lot of light and shade in his voice.

And that's what I love about him.

Because he's different, but he's great.

So I'm taking a bit of a gamble, really.

Ragsy is my rocker. He's a lovely fellow.

I knew Stuart, like, you know.

Stuart Cable was the original drummer of the Stereophonics.

He passed away a couple of years ago.

I was quite lucky to have classed him as a friend.

Whenever I do play this song, I always dedicate it to Stuart.

Well, I think it's a good idea myself, you know.

I'm working with the living legend that is Tom. This is insane!

It doesn't happen to normal people!

You were stronger on the battle, for me, than the blind audition.

You pulled something out on that one. What song have you picked?

It's a song of two parts.

You've got the beautiful melody in the verses

and then I get a chance to rock out a bit in the chorus.

Because I'm the new boy in Team Tom, I do have to work harder,

-I think, to show what I can do.

so a little bit intimidating.

I try to say to everybody, "Don't let me put you off."

I definitely have to prove why Tom stole me.

He's put that faith in me, so I've really got to deliver.

I'm taking a bit of reggae but with the Stevie vibe,

so I'm going for Master Blaster. The reason why?

Two of those are my favourite things.

Stevie Wonder is one of them, reggae another, you put the two

together and what do you get? Master Blaster. And that's me.

I would say it's lazy.

He showed reservations about me doing it, which in turn had me

a bit worried, and I was kind of scratching my head, thinking,
