Mr Speaker, I hope as the government we always work to support and

encourage small-business. It is changing procurement rules or

removing red tape. But I thhnk work is done by members on all shdes

Across the year to help and support business in their constituencies. He

will know, as indeed we all do, that the job of running a small business

is tough. It is often a 7 d`y a week job, often 12-18 hours elk day job.

-- a day job. It is immensely valuable to our society that we have

people who are willing to commit that level of effort to running

small businesses in our comlunities. They hold our communities together.

We will so breadth them this Saturday. I commend him for the work

he is doing. But I commend `ll members for the work they are doing

currently, this weekend, for the supporting their constituencies
