Hello and Welcome to Stourbridge and to the programme. Tonight, will | 0:00:00 | 0:00:05
you be sorry for what you said and did online? Former boxer Richie | 0:00:05 | 0:00:09
Woodhall investigates the risky world of the internet. I had a bad | 0:00:10 | 0:00:13
day the other day. My e-mail was hacked and someone created a | 0:00:13 | 0:00:21
Facebook page, claiming to be me. Meet the Stourbridge policeman who | 0:00:21 | 0:00:26
cycles to work as he catches on camera at the downright dangerous | 0:00:26 | 0:00:31
behaviour of other road users. looks like traffic is particularly | 0:00:31 | 0:00:41
| 0:00:41 | 0:00:42 | ||
heavy this morning. No idea. Nice one. And we travel back to the | 0:00:42 | 0:00:47
1960s with Chris Jagger to remember the Rolling Stones's' visit to a | 0:00:47 | 0:00:57

It is an astonishing fact that every minute, 19 people in the UK | 0:01:21 | 0:01:25
fall victim to cyber-crime, the internet can be a risky place. One | 0:01:25 | 0:01:28
of the biggest dangers can be giving away too much personal | 0:01:28 | 0:01:37
information. We asked Richie Woodall to investigate. Fraud, | 0:01:37 | 0:01:41
viruses, predators. The internet has lots of advantages, but it can | 0:01:41 | 0:01:51
| 0:01:51 | 0:01:58 | ||
be a hostile place. The threats, it seems, are endless. It feels like | 0:01:59 | 0:02:04
when we are online, we are at risk. I never had any problems using the | 0:02:04 | 0:02:08
internet, but someone hacked into my e-mails. I would like to find | 0:02:08 | 0:02:12
out who that was. And how it happened. I know I am not the only | 0:02:12 | 0:02:21
one who is feeling vulnerable. Everything OK? This is a me, my | 0:02:21 | 0:02:27
eldest. I had been on social networking sites since I was 18 -- | 0:02:27 | 0:02:34
13. So I got it because everyone else did. Nothing has majorly gone | 0:02:34 | 0:02:37
wrong but I set up the account, I did that in the detail of my phone | 0:02:37 | 0:02:41
number and that let in later years two, when I got older, people | 0:02:42 | 0:02:45
texting the and I asked where they got the number, they said Facebook | 0:02:45 | 0:02:49
so I had to remove that. Just the thing to get a dad worrying! A | 0:02:49 | 0:02:54
survey for the BBC of 13-19-year- olds reveals that more than 40% of | 0:02:54 | 0:02:59
those asked said they or someone they knew had shared something on | 0:03:00 | 0:03:04
line and then gone on to regretted. Seville is safer, me or my kids? | 0:03:04 | 0:03:12
And what should I be doing to protect them? If there are cracks | 0:03:12 | 0:03:20
in my arm when defences, this man will find them. -- online defences. | 0:03:20 | 0:03:25
After a hack to my e-mails, I am upping my security. Brian, an | 0:03:25 | 0:03:29
ethical hacking lecturer, is the man for the job. I need to know how | 0:03:29 | 0:03:35
they got in. If they are lucky enough to get your password, they | 0:03:35 | 0:03:40
could use software that allows them to send multiple requests t e-mail | 0:03:40 | 0:03:44
address, with lots of possible pass was. Or they might have targeted | 0:03:44 | 0:03:48
your machine at home and hacked your machine. I had a real bad day | 0:03:48 | 0:03:52
the other day, my heart Millican was hacked and someone created a | 0:03:52 | 0:03:58
Facebook page claiming to be me. -- my e-mail was hacked. The problem | 0:03:58 | 0:04:01
is that anyone could create the Facebook page, that is not even | 0:04:01 | 0:04:07
hacking. Just a form of electronic propaganda. But it is like identity | 0:04:07 | 0:04:15
fraud, surely. We can easily trace it back to them if it was done on a | 0:04:15 | 0:04:22
home computer or a to school. The motivation for wanting to be that... | 0:04:22 | 0:04:30
That might bring me out of retirement! | 0:04:30 | 0:04:35
Usually, Brian's students pit their wits against cyber criminals, | 0:04:35 | 0:04:39
testing for on my meet this is without breaking any laws. But this | 0:04:39 | 0:04:42
week, using information that is openly available, they will | 0:04:42 | 0:04:47
investigate me. Whilst they get to work, I am off to be some | 0:04:47 | 0:04:51
youngsters who have come to regret giving too much away online. -- off | 0:04:51 | 0:04:55
to meet. Nearly half of young people surveyed said they would be | 0:04:55 | 0:04:59
likely to accept a friend request from someone they knew of but had | 0:04:59 | 0:05:05
never met. And that landed these students in a threatening situation. | 0:05:05 | 0:05:09
One reporter was just another person from school, it seemed | 0:05:09 | 0:05:14
normal. -- when we thought it was just. Then they started asking for | 0:05:14 | 0:05:20
details like where we lived, and asking about pictures, asking if I | 0:05:21 | 0:05:26
was a beautiful girl, you just think, hold on a minute. It is | 0:05:26 | 0:05:30
something you don't think would happen to you personally. You hear | 0:05:30 | 0:05:35
it on the news. A more than 100 children accepted Facebook friend | 0:05:35 | 0:05:40
requests from a stranger called Hi Heart. Soon, the banter became | 0:05:40 | 0:05:48
sinister. It was back in July last year. Our students were contacted | 0:05:48 | 0:05:51
on Facebook by an individual who they assumed was a friend from | 0:05:51 | 0:05:57
within school. That went to a situation where he started asking | 0:05:57 | 0:06:04
for pictures of them, personal ones, and he then became -- it became a | 0:06:04 | 0:06:14
| 0:06:14 | 0:06:16 | ||
case of asking sexual questions of It was horrible because I did not | 0:06:16 | 0:06:21
actually speak to him, but some of my friends dead and what he told -- | 0:06:21 | 0:06:26
what he said was disgusting and it made you feel vulnerable. Once | 0:06:26 | 0:06:30
alerted, the school acted fast. Nottinghamshire Police triste Hi | 0:06:30 | 0:06:34
Heart to the Middle East. But he was never identified. Since, | 0:06:34 | 0:06:39
teachers have put on extra classes to ensure students and parents are | 0:06:39 | 0:06:44
more savvy about what they get up to online. I am just careful now, | 0:06:44 | 0:06:49
ever since that happened. And more careful with people too high accept | 0:06:49 | 0:06:54
and who I had myself. The really scary thing is that nearly a third | 0:06:54 | 0:06:59
of young people have over shared online and say it has damaged the | 0:06:59 | 0:07:04
reputation in some way. It is not just kids that make mistakes. And | 0:07:04 | 0:07:13
some really do cost you dear. Car, tell me what happened. Basically, I | 0:07:13 | 0:07:20
was working as a community support officer for Warwickshire Police. | 0:07:20 | 0:07:26
And was dismissed for placing some comments on Facebook, which they | 0:07:26 | 0:07:32
found unhelpful, that was the term they use. What kind of things? | 0:07:32 | 0:07:36
of the comments were, why do I have to wear a stab vest in the | 0:07:36 | 0:07:39
countryside when the only played there is a blade of grass? I have | 0:07:39 | 0:07:42
colleagues who work in the police in the West Midlands and they do | 0:07:42 | 0:07:46
not have to wear them. Another comic was, perhaps a stab vest is a | 0:07:46 | 0:07:51
good idea in the station, stop all those nights in your back, that | 0:07:51 | 0:07:55
rebuffing. Were you aware that members of the public could see | 0:07:55 | 0:08:01
those comments? I am was not, I am not a computer person. Everything | 0:08:01 | 0:08:06
was done on my mobile phone, my smartphone. I did not know what | 0:08:06 | 0:08:10
privacy settings were. If they could turn the clock back, I would | 0:08:10 | 0:08:16
not have Facebook. The Warwickshire Police spokesman as cold as the | 0:08:16 | 0:08:19
force does not disclose information on any individual disciplinary | 0:08:19 | 0:08:23
matter. But it does provide guidance to staff regarding its use | 0:08:23 | 0:08:28
within the workplace and also the private use of social networking. | 0:08:28 | 0:08:33
From what I have seen, Coral still posts contentious remark. He admits | 0:08:33 | 0:08:38
they are childish but blames it on bitterness. The European Commission | 0:08:38 | 0:08:43
has recently published plans to give us a right to be forgotten, to | 0:08:43 | 0:08:47
wipe clean our online trail. But I think it is better to stay one step | 0:08:47 | 0:08:52
ahead. So time to catch up with our ethical hacker and his students. It | 0:08:52 | 0:08:58
seems my private life is on display. We put the information we have | 0:08:58 | 0:09:02
found so for on the board. The basic information you would expect | 0:09:02 | 0:09:08
a fine, name, date of birth, kids. Then they start moving to more | 0:09:08 | 0:09:12
interesting information, we find which schools to attended, they | 0:09:12 | 0:09:17
have found out you have an honorary MSc from Chichester University. | 0:09:17 | 0:09:25
Which is the most concerning from the?, technical point of view, we | 0:09:25 | 0:09:29
were able to find your home IP address. -- from a technical point | 0:09:30 | 0:09:34
of view. Back in League your machine to come under significant | 0:09:34 | 0:09:39
attack, they will try and probate. How can I protect myself against | 0:09:39 | 0:09:44
that? There are some techniques you can use to mitigate some on finding | 0:09:44 | 0:09:49
your home IP address. We tend to use proxies. A proxy is like a | 0:09:49 | 0:09:53
filter that helps keep your machine anonymous. I definitely need one of | 0:09:53 | 0:09:59
those! What you are telling me is, it is quite scary to be honest. I | 0:10:00 | 0:10:03
do not know whether to just throw away my laptop and stick to my | 0:10:04 | 0:10:10
Blackberry. There are probably three steps you want to take. First | 0:10:10 | 0:10:14
is your password management. Make sure it is not guess the ball and | 0:10:14 | 0:10:19
changer frequently. Then make sure that the information you put on the | 0:10:19 | 0:10:23
internet is information you need to make available, and probably one of | 0:10:23 | 0:10:27
the most important things is to make sure your anti-virus software | 0:10:27 | 0:10:33
and operating system are up to date. Whilst they found aplenty about me, | 0:10:33 | 0:10:38
it will tickle lot longer to trace my hacker. But at least we brought | 0:10:38 | 0:10:42
down the fake Facebook page. The social that were cannot tell me who | 0:10:42 | 0:10:47
set it up, but they have removed it. What I have heard here has been | 0:10:47 | 0:10:52
quite surprising. When it comes to perfecting -- Bridge - a protecting | 0:10:52 | 0:10:56
myself on my, one thing is certain, doing nothing about it is not an | 0:10:56 | 0:11:03
option. I will not be burying my head in the sand in future. If you | 0:11:03 | 0:11:06
have been the victim of cyber-crime war are worried about how to | 0:11:07 | 0:11:11
protect yourself, there are details on our Facebook site. Or you can | 0:11:11 | 0:11:21

This year, Stourbridge celebrates 400 years of glass-making. To | 0:11:23 | 0:11:28
celebrate the anniversary, there is a project to make replicas of three | 0:11:28 | 0:11:33
of the most famous buses in history. And all to be completed in time for | 0:11:33 | 0:11:37
the International Festival of class in August. But tonight, we have | 0:11:37 | 0:11:41
come to Stourbridge for a different story. A viewer who contacted us | 0:11:41 | 0:11:46
about his journey to work. It is the story we thought you ought to | 0:11:46 | 0:11:56
| 0:11:56 | 0:11:56 | ||
I am always a little bit worried at this time of night. | 0:11:56 | 0:12:01
He always rings to say he is on his way, so I expect him at a certain | 0:12:01 | 0:12:06
time, so the last 15, 20 minutes, you are watching the clock and | 0:12:06 | 0:12:11
hoping that those lights will come on in the garage and he is home | 0:12:11 | 0:12:15
safely. Liz Mitchell worries about her | 0:12:15 | 0:12:20
husband Neil, not because of his job - he is a police officer, but | 0:12:20 | 0:12:27
because he is a cyclist. After 27 years in the police force, there | 0:12:27 | 0:12:33
have been some pretty hairy times, but what I am doing at the moment I | 0:12:33 | 0:12:41
suppose is a different "get". His different -- his journey begins | 0:12:41 | 0:12:47
in Stourbridge and ends up in Birmingham. His family want him to | 0:12:47 | 0:12:52
stop commuting by bicycle, they think it it is too dangerous. | 0:12:52 | 0:13:00
Has he told you about any of the near-misses? Yes, unfortunately. | 0:13:00 | 0:13:04
But it got to the stage he was telling us on a daily basis, and it | 0:13:04 | 0:13:09
was worrying the children, so he does not say anything to them now. | 0:13:09 | 0:13:15
But obviously he does tell me. It is just horrendous, really. But it | 0:13:15 | 0:13:20
is his choice, it is what he does, so he gets on with it. I have asked | 0:13:20 | 0:13:27
him to stop, but he is his own man. But tonight, Neil makes it home | 0:13:28 | 0:13:37
safely, and his can breathe easily until tomorrow. | 0:13:37 | 0:13:42
Same trouble, different day. My will has been cycling for | 0:13:42 | 0:13:46
different -- for years, and is determined to keep his fitness | 0:13:46 | 0:13:51
levels up. He is concerned things are getting worse on the roads, not | 0:13:51 | 0:13:55
better. So we decided to fit cameras to his helmet so that he | 0:13:55 | 0:14:00
could show us some of the problems he faces daily. For three years he | 0:14:00 | 0:14:10
| 0:14:10 | 0:14:11 | ||
has kept a biking video diary. Very icy this morning, so I am | 0:14:11 | 0:14:16
being careful with my breaks in case people try to overtake me. | 0:14:16 | 0:14:22
What other problems to get every day? Being pulled out on, although | 0:14:22 | 0:14:28
I suppose I look like a fluorescent Christmas tree. There are times | 0:14:28 | 0:14:36
people do not see me, and they have a deadline to get to, and they do | 0:14:36 | 0:14:43
not consider a cyclist. It is such a varied countryside, and across | 0:14:43 | 0:14:47
the city you get different problems in different areas. A let us try a | 0:14:47 | 0:14:53
little bit of the route. Leader of the way? | 0:14:53 | 0:14:59
-- lead the way. He wants to highlight the problems | 0:14:59 | 0:15:04
in the hope it will get better and drivers pay a bit more attention to | 0:15:04 | 0:15:10
cyclists, and that cyclists help themselves more. I am like a | 0:15:10 | 0:15:15
meerkat at every opportunity. Just making sure I am aware with the | 0:15:15 | 0:15:19
experience I have got as a cyclist. I know from the noise of the | 0:15:19 | 0:15:24
vehicle behind, how close it will be, so you get a little bit of a | 0:15:24 | 0:15:29
feeling on the back of your neck. His commute covers rural and urban | 0:15:29 | 0:15:34
roads. Surprisingly, were serious collisions happen on rural roads | 0:15:34 | 0:15:40
than in our cities. Neil understands why - with few a street | 0:15:40 | 0:15:44
lights in the site in -- in the countryside, it is down to the | 0:15:44 | 0:15:47
cyclist to be well lit. This stretch of road is particularly | 0:15:47 | 0:15:53
fingers crossed when you come down here. I have got three sets of | 0:15:53 | 0:16:00
lights, lots at the front, and on my cycling helmet as well. On the | 0:16:00 | 0:16:05
two months ago I was struck by a lorry. Just approaching the island. | 0:16:05 | 0:16:09
I managed to get the details of the lovely concerned, not the | 0:16:09 | 0:16:15
registration because of the speed of the vehicle. The police found | 0:16:15 | 0:16:18
the driver and he could not remember the incident. I am not | 0:16:18 | 0:16:23
surprised - there is so little space, I think he made a manoeuvre | 0:16:23 | 0:16:27
and perhaps was unaware of his blind spots. Another inch, I would | 0:16:27 | 0:16:31
have been unaware -- under the wheels. So even with all the | 0:16:31 | 0:16:37
correct gear, it is not risk free. As his video diary shows, there | 0:16:37 | 0:16:41
were dozens of incidents of drivers is simply not seeing him. Looks | 0:16:41 | 0:16:51
| 0:16:51 | 0:16:53 | ||
like traffic is particularly heavy this morning. No idea! His journey | 0:16:53 | 0:16:57
covers one of the busiest routes into the city, the A456. But for | 0:16:57 | 0:17:02
the majority of it, there is no provision for cyclists. At this | 0:17:02 | 0:17:06
roundabout, he has to stop on the roadside and wait for a gap, then | 0:17:06 | 0:17:15
pull out. Manoeuvres like this are not for the inexperience. | 0:17:15 | 0:17:20
It it does not get much better as he gets further into the city. | 0:17:20 | 0:17:25
understands you cannot have a cycle path on every row at, but some | 0:17:25 | 0:17:30
parts of the city get his blood boiling. He is a worrying time done | 0:17:30 | 0:17:34
here, and the road is not wide enough to take the traffic that it | 0:17:34 | 0:17:39
has. Fitting in a cycle lane on narrow roads, you have to look | 0:17:39 | 0:17:43
other practicalities. I think certainly with city centres, the | 0:17:43 | 0:17:48
emphasis is on the drivers, we have to behave and we have to obey the | 0:17:48 | 0:17:52
rules but ultimately I think that little respect from drivers and | 0:17:52 | 0:17:57
that little room... The near-misses you have been having would be | 0:17:57 | 0:18:03
enough to put most people off. Not that put you off this -- going this | 0:18:03 | 0:18:07
route each day? Had I have seen enough cycle accidents in my years | 0:18:07 | 0:18:14
in the police, but I mean, it is a risk. But people will cycle, and | 0:18:14 | 0:18:18
they will continue to cycle. Hopefully maybe a few people will | 0:18:18 | 0:18:24
see this programme and give that a little bit more attention. A little | 0:18:24 | 0:18:30
bit more attention to fluorescent cyclists! So what is there solution | 0:18:30 | 0:18:34
to help cyclists like Neil? We asked Ann Osola, in charge of | 0:18:35 | 0:18:41
strategic planning for cycling. She had a look at the problems me it | 0:18:41 | 0:18:46
had encountered. This current financial year we will be spending | 0:18:46 | 0:18:51
3 million on cycle training, road- safety measures, trying to improve | 0:18:51 | 0:18:57
links to schools and off-road cycle paths. And also improvements on the | 0:18:57 | 0:19:03
main carriageway, also -- although also -- often... In Birmingham we | 0:19:03 | 0:19:13
have still got a fairly long tradition of cycling, but if | 0:19:13 | 0:19:18
drivers are aware index and safer for all concerned. You say that the | 0:19:18 | 0:19:22
way to ensure there is greater safety for cyclists on the road is | 0:19:22 | 0:19:26
to get more cyclists on the road. But looking at this you would not | 0:19:26 | 0:19:30
want to do it. What we have been doing in recent years is trying to | 0:19:30 | 0:19:34
encourage people in the first instance to take up leisure cycling, | 0:19:34 | 0:19:40
so promoting off-road routes, and also our quieter roads. If you are | 0:19:40 | 0:19:44
making the longer distance, it is a huge part of your day, therefore | 0:19:44 | 0:19:48
naturally you are going to go for the quicker routes. You cannot be | 0:19:48 | 0:19:57
leader for the leisure ribs of the country roots. -- leisure routes. | 0:19:57 | 0:20:02
As Neil heard enough to convince him things are going to get better? | 0:20:03 | 0:20:08
Are you just going to carry on it, saying that every day? Yes, I have | 0:20:08 | 0:20:12
nothing to put me off. It is reassuring the cancel a spending | 0:20:12 | 0:20:17
money, I think it is key that cyclists learn to adhere to the | 0:20:17 | 0:20:24
highly coloured and obey the rules. We have to live in harmony, so more | 0:20:24 | 0:20:30
and more people are going to cycle and hopefully we are going to work | 0:20:30 | 0:20:40
| 0:20:40 | 0:20:45 | ||
If you would like to tell us about your cycling experience here in the | 0:20:45 | 0:20:49
Midlands, where there as a car driver or a cyclist, we would love | 0:20:49 | 0:20:55
to hear from you. We have travelled back to the 1960s, | 0:20:55 | 0:20:59
with Chris Jagger, as he catches up with village life when his brother | 0:20:59 | 0:21:08
Mick and the Rolling Stones visited a village near Burton-on-Trent. | 0:21:08 | 0:21:13
It is summertime in 1968, the year after the summer of love, and that | 0:21:13 | 0:21:17
was a lively time for my brother's band. The Rolling Stones had | 0:21:17 | 0:21:23
released jumping Jack Flash, and their 7th student -- studio album | 0:21:23 | 0:21:33
| 0:21:33 | 0:21:36 | ||
was just being completed. Do 5,000 miles away from Los | 0:21:36 | 0:21:43
Angeles, this tiny Derbyshire village was chosen as the site to | 0:21:43 | 0:21:48
photograph and promote the Rolling Stones's latest album. I am going | 0:21:48 | 0:21:52
to look around the little village and see if there are people who can | 0:21:52 | 0:22:02
| 0:22:02 | 0:22:14 | ||
remember that day, and if they can, You are the one on the left? Yes, | 0:22:14 | 0:22:20
having my autograph with Brian Jones. It was brilliant. We jump to | 0:22:20 | 0:22:24
the wall. We jumped over the wall, we wanted to know what it was all | 0:22:24 | 0:22:32
about. They painted the piano white. I am in the country where my | 0:22:32 | 0:22:37
grandparents lived, Derbyshire, meeting a couple from Swardeston | 0:22:37 | 0:22:43
who were newlyweds back in 1968. When the Rolling Stones rolled into | 0:22:43 | 0:22:46
town, we caught it all on their small camera. | 0:22:46 | 0:22:51
Who told you that this was happening? You have heard this on | 0:22:51 | 0:22:57
the great fine, or was it just sprung on you? Brian used to pop up | 0:22:57 | 0:23:05
to the pub at lunchtime, and he came back and I used to say to him, | 0:23:05 | 0:23:11
who have you seen today? He said, Mick Jagger, and Brian Jones. I | 0:23:11 | 0:23:17
said, I do not believe you. We had a bed, and he said, after lunch I | 0:23:17 | 0:23:25
will take Q. We walked up to the charge, I saw the black cars, and | 0:23:25 | 0:23:32
thought, he is right. So I ran back from Brian's autograph. | 0:23:32 | 0:23:42
| 0:23:42 | 0:23:43 | ||
Brian's photographs are unique. Together with the poster, but with | 0:23:43 | 0:23:50
the these... I sound like a man on an auction programme! This is like, | 0:23:50 | 0:23:55
with the original autographs, frame it all up and it is quite a | 0:23:55 | 0:24:05
collector's piece. You have kept them in such good condition. | 0:24:05 | 0:24:09
The reason my brother's band came to Darbyshire was to shoot a | 0:24:09 | 0:24:13
sequence of shots to promote the record Beggar's Banquet, and maybe | 0:24:13 | 0:24:18
get an album cover out of it, this was her 7th album which caused a | 0:24:18 | 0:24:24
rift between the band and their record label. First I want to find | 0:24:24 | 0:24:29
out why a tiny Derbyshire village was picked for this fortitude. So I | 0:24:29 | 0:24:35
am off to London to meet Michael Joseph, who then was a first -- a | 0:24:35 | 0:24:45
| 0:24:45 | 0:24:47 | ||
fresh-faced photographer making his mark in the swinging 60s. | 0:24:47 | 0:24:51
Michael's shoots stretched over a couple of days. Baby One, the | 0:24:51 | 0:24:57
interiors were shot. Inside an impressive house in north London. | 0:24:57 | 0:25:03
The following day, the band's limousines shot up the Mbanter | 0:25:03 | 0:25:07
Darbyshire. We chose the village because it was the only place that | 0:25:07 | 0:25:12
was all derelict. It would not have had the magic if it had the windows | 0:25:12 | 0:25:20
in. I was given a couple of options, but the minute I saw this Mackie | 0:25:20 | 0:25:27
place, that was the place. As you can see, in the cricket scene, I | 0:25:27 | 0:25:37
| 0:25:37 | 0:25:37 | ||
think the grass is a perfect length. The cricket shot - iconic rock and | 0:25:37 | 0:25:42
roll for geography. You think of David Bailey, but a think it is | 0:25:42 | 0:25:47
iconic because it is so unlikely. The Rolling Stones at that time | 0:25:47 | 0:25:51
were beautifully dangerous, the idea that they would be playing | 0:25:51 | 0:25:59
cricket in the middle of nowhere... People have digital photography, | 0:25:59 | 0:26:05
but back then he did not even have pulled of Lords. So how can you | 0:26:05 | 0:26:10
even know if it is really going to walk or not. You want to get in as | 0:26:10 | 0:26:14
many pictures as possible, but years later you look at them and | 0:26:14 | 0:26:21
they are just great quality. And so sometimes you can look at these | 0:26:21 | 0:26:25
things two weeks later and you think, that is not very good. 20 | 0:26:25 | 0:26:32
years later, you think, that his great! So sometimes it is bit -- it | 0:26:32 | 0:26:39
is a bit like a wine, it takes a bit of time to mature. | 0:26:39 | 0:26:44
So it was all down to Michael, and my brother Michael, liking the look | 0:26:44 | 0:26:47
of this Darbyshire of ruin. The rest as they say his musical | 0:26:47 | 0:26:55
history. Now, 40 years later, the place is a | 0:26:55 | 0:26:59
must-see location for moaning Stones fans. You can even stay the | 0:26:59 | 0:27:03
night in the pavilion, as it has now been renovated as a holiday | 0:27:03 | 0:27:07
home. It has been entirely rebuilt | 0:27:07 | 0:27:16
leaving as much original material as possible. But apart from that, | 0:27:16 | 0:27:24
"any trouble, you will be out!". These images of the pavilion bar so | 0:27:24 | 0:27:30
well known and celebrated now, but did not make the cover of the album. | 0:27:30 | 0:27:35
The band for some reason I wanted this cover, which was are you | 0:27:35 | 0:27:41
Vineall covered in graffiti. The record company did not want this, | 0:27:41 | 0:27:46
are surprisingly, so the release was held up for many months of the | 0:27:46 | 0:27:53
argument raged on. Finally, the cover was the simple invitation. On | 0:27:53 | 0:27:59
the inside, is this medieval looking at debauchery, which | 0:27:59 | 0:28:06
Michael Joseph took. However, the story finally ends here. The | 0:28:07 | 0:28:11
pictures did appeal -- did appear on a compilation a bomb some years | 0:28:11 | 0:28:17
later. -- Albarn. Join the again next week, if you | 0:28:17 | 0:28:24
can. Next Monday, the are -- the Irish | 0:28:24 | 0:28:29 |
