Brazil feels the pressure from it for all mad public and anti`World

Cup road testers. Katie Watson watches the first World Cup but all

overwhelming favourites to lift the trophy. There is pressure on the

team from a full all mad public. As I have been finding out there are

distractions. Anti`World Cup protests across Brazil and falling

attendances for domestic games. Brazil's national squad. Players on

multi`million pound contract is banning the assault on a record

sixth World Cup. But in the hills above Rio they are not immune to the

street protests and discontent in Brazil over the vast sums of money

being spent on this tournament. TRANSLATION: most of the Brazilian

players come from difficult living conditions. With more than 1000

local journalists watching their every move, keeping focused will not

be easy. Carlos Alberto captained Brazil's their side. He says if this

team is to emulate those feats, the players will have to cope with the

pressure when nothing less than another title will do. The pressure

on Brazil is always the same. It is the best for first place. Second

place is just the same. It is a lot to expect when you consider the

state of the game in Brazil. Despite the dominance of the national team

and be obvious past `` passion they have a foot all, the domestic game

is weak and in financial trouble. This is a game between two of the

biggest sides. But there are barely 10,000 people inside the stadium.

Brazil 2014 begins on Thursday with a match between Brazil and Croatia

in Sao Paulo. But FIFA has said a lot of work needs to be done on the

stadium and test events have been taking place. Katie Watson went

along to see the first football action. Brazil is still working on

his welcome message despite reassurances everything will be

ready in time. Sao Paulo stadium is still a work in process. It is

better than it was. The security word to FIFA standards and there

were more volunteers and stewards. But FIFA had wanted to hold another

match to make sure the temporary seating could work at the full

capacity of 70,000 people. It did not go to plan. One of the stands

was closed because it didn't happen necessary safety clearance and the

other had half of the number of fans it will seat on opening night.

TRANSLATION: most of the tests have been done and now a few mechanical

adjustments need to be made. They are related to stability for the

comfort of people at the barrier. But the setbacks did not get in the

wake of the excitement. Most were looking on the bright side ahead of

the game. The stadium is amazing. Comparing it with other stadiums we

have here in Brazil, this is the best one. I think for the World Cup,

it is going to be ready. But outside of the stadium, it is something we

have two work out. The stadium is almost complete. Not 100%, but in

one week I think we can have everything good here. We are ready.

99% ready. The stands were not fall and this match did not produce a

winner, but the organisers said they were happy with how the event went

and reassured people they would you ready for kick`off. Lots of work and

preparation has been done between the first test match held here and

this, the second one. But plenty more work needs to be done and those

temporary seating stands will not be tested at full capacity until the

friends, was a different challenge for David Rackham. Not knowing what

is around me. I don't like it. It was the chance, an opportunity to

act truly do a trip where it wasn't scheduled. There was a plan, but for

the last 22 years my life, my career has been on a schedule. So I can let

everybody see myself in a situation no one has seen me in. It was a

boy's trip. I have never been on a boy's trip. Victoria was happy to

let you go? She was more than happy to let me go, which was worrying.

Amazing. He went so deep into the rainforest, some people he met had

no idea he was one of the most famous faces on the planet

travelling through their country on a motorbike. We started in Rio,

which was crazy. Then we ended in the tribe. That was an experience

because no one had a clue who I was. Brazil will soon be welcoming

another group of writs. David Beckham is careful to be optimistic

about their chances. I always think we can go all the way. I might be

biased but that is me as an Englishman, as an ex`England

captain. I always believe we can go all the way in these competitions.

He says he has had an extraordinarily rewarding time in

Brazil. He and millions of others will be helping England will be
