All across the country, millions of families are waking up

to a Scotland in which they find it harder to get on.

Whilst David Cameron tells people everything was fixed,

and Alex Salmond only talks about the referendum,

Scots are worried

that their wages are falling and bills are getting harder to afford.

Gas and electricity bills have increased by more than £300 for an average family,

while the energy companies are making huge profits.

Meanwhile, childcare -

not a luxury, but an essential for millions of working families -

gets harder to find, and more expensive.

With the SNP, they promise more childcare after independence,

but they could be providing it today.

And whilst claiming to be cutting taxes,

the Tories have put up taxes 24 times on hard-working families.

The increase in VAT alone

has cost the average family £450

by putting up the price

of dozens of everyday essentials -

a cost-of-living crisis for many working people.

However, there is one group Alex Salmond and David Cameron care about.

While ordinary families struggle,

they want to hand tax cuts to the richest.

The SNP and the Tories both want

to keep tax cuts for millionaires and big businesses,

at the same time as personal debt

for ordinary families is rising and wages are squeezed.

And the SNP are now planning

a tax cut for big business if Scotland votes for independence.

Under the SNP, tens of thousands of young people

have lost out on a college education because of the SNP's cuts.

So instead of training for their next job, they are out of work.

Under the SNP and the Tories,

the average working person is a shocking £1,600 a year worse off.

Dealing with the cost-of-living crisis has never been so important.

Scotland can do much better than this.
