Over 150 Liberal Democrat councillors right across Scotland
have a solid reputation for getting things done for their area,
whether it's creating jobs, building homes, improving the environment,
improving schools, they get results for their community.
Now, in May you have a choice.
You have a choice about who you want to stand up for your community,
your area on the council.
In Edinburgh, Liberal Democrats like Paul Edie are focused on
creating jobs and building a better future for our capital.
In Edinburgh, we've launched a project - the Edinburgh Guarantee.
This ensures that all young people leaving school
will at least have an apprenticeship or a training course.
At times like this, when it's really hard to find work
an innovative project like this really gives people hope.
We need more of this, more Liberal Democrat councillors
securing and creating jobs right across Scotland.
With 150,000 people in Scotland looking for a home
and 2,000 children living in a cold or damp home, I want action.
Homelessness can affect anyone from any walk of life.
I care deeply that we help as many people made homeless as possible.
As a Liberal Democrat I am proud that we've taken action and that
Perth and Kinross are one of the first councils to meet the historic
2012 homelessness target.
We need more of this.
We need more Liberal Democrats building homes
for families like this and families right across Scotland.
Liberal Democrats have always believed in improving life through education,
while successfully campaigning for
more funds for our colleges and students.
We've also been making the case for improving education in our schools.
In Aberdeenshire, Liberal Democrats like Karen Clark have
prioritised funds for our schools.
Times are tough but investing in our children's future now
could save us money in the long term.
Liberal Democrats know the importance of education and we continue to build
new schools to give our young people the best possible chance in life.
We need more of this.
We need more Liberal Democrats to do
the best by our parents, pupils and teachers.
If you want someone to stand up for jobs and housing,
for schools and the environment and you want someone who will focus
on the needs of you and your community
then the Liberal Democrats are for you.
We get results.
If you want action in your community,
support the Liberal Democrats.
