Cast your mind back to 1999, when the National Assembly for Wales opened.

17 years is a long time, isn't it?

A lot has changed since 1999, but some things have never changed,

and some things have got much, much worse.

In Wales, we've got so much potential,

but we're paying the price for 17 long years of Welsh Labour.

As the UK economy surges forward, Wales risks being left behind.

More and more of our high streets are boarded up,

and small businesses denied the support they need to grow.

The state of our NHS shows

Welsh Labour just aren't up to the job of governing.

£1 billion of NHS cuts - that's their doing.

One in seven of us on a waiting list - a national scandal.

Meanwhile, we've fallen far behind other UK nations on education.

Welsh pupils are as talented and gifted

as those from anywhere else, but since 1999,

they have fallen behind the rest of the UK in key tests.

Despite all these years of incompetence,

Welsh Labour are asking for another five years.

But the truth is, Labour's had long enough.

The Welsh Conservatives are the only party committed

to cutting your bills and making Wales the low-tax capital of the UK.

It's time for a government that will support our small businesses,

that rewards the grafters, backs entrepreneurs,

is on the side of the working people of Wales.

It's time for a Welsh Government that will empower Welsh teachers,

fund schools directly and give them more resources,

more power and more freedom.

And it's time for a Welsh Government

that would protect the NHS budget in Wales.

You can't pay for a good health service and better schools

without competent leadership and a strong economy.

We simply cannot afford to leave Wales's future

and our country's security

in the hands of Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party.

This election is a choice,

a choice between changing, to secure a better future for Wales,

or sticking with the same old ideas that just aren't working.

Conservatives have shown that we can deliver for the United Kingdom.

The Welsh Conservative team, led by Andrew RT Davies,

will bring the same focus and discipline

to provide a better future for Wales.

This election is your chance

to secure the real change that Wales needs.
