Davis Cup ties and all the calls and all the whistling, I actually think

it was a good decision. There is no doubt, he told them, he gave them a

warning, they whistled in the middle of the ball toss. He is aptly right.

OK, fair enough. It was a pretty handy return and a nice little

back-up army have volley. One of the biggest servers in the game has a

first serve. The crowded field beat now. -- the crowd feel baited now.

Easy game for Inglot. That is admirable. Well done. So desperate

to get his first win, it has anything else been thrown at him

And that is that, to massive first serves! Inglot serves it out, a

wonderful when, if first win for him at a Davis Cup. Jamie Murray is

brilliant and you see why he is a former world number one, the world

number five, Britain are in the driving seat away from home playing

in this Davis Cup quarterfinal and after losing the second set on a

tie-breaker, I have to say, that is very brave from both of those

players. The presence of Andy Murray on the sideline, of course, the B1

of the first to congratulate his team-mates. They will be looking

forward to the potential semifinal in September yet but they are one

big step closer to it. Superb doubles victory, well done to both,

Inglot and Jamie Murray and the crowd as well who held their own

against some mild Serbian intimidation there. So vastly

experienced and unable to get the job done on this occasion. The

relatively inexperienced Krajinovic. Two hours and 35mm, this is what the

Davis Cup can be like. If antagonist atmosphere. Serbia I still in with a

chance. -- a fantastic atmosphere. The two number one players will play

tomorrow at a victory for Great Britain. Britain will be taken to

the semifinal once again. It may yet come down to Tipsarevic against

James Ward. Let's look at some of the numbers. Great performance,

excellent doubles. Great Britain, 2-1. That got little tense at the

end, doesn't it? How that dropped in, Inglot thought he had finally

won the match and he hadn't, great composure at the end. To massive

service and that was always going to be big thing frame that would get

into the match. How much will that mean to Inglot, to hold his nerve

and win that match? Great Britain weren't able to take. They had 11

break point in the combined sets two and three and most of them on the

court with Inglot returning. You don't see this often, a double fault

who has been so reliable. We were 15-40 down in that one and they had

to wear bandages really saved. The most experienced player on the

court, you are backing him to come out. The double fault came out of

nowhere. They held their nerve to take that set and this was key to

get that early break serve in the fourth? Be needed that one. It just

adds to combine well at that stage, they were searching for it. One

would get a bit of rhythm going and then no one would drop off,

particularly Inglot. What -- when he needed to, the team together and

sometimes these matches, didn't play great that they don't need to. They

had to get the job done. It is all right for should win this match and

yes they should, it wasn't spectacular but they got the job

done. Dominic Inglot will be thrilled, he has won his first day

the cup. Visual minutes, we weren't sure how he would play but he wasn't

so good in the first set but he came good. He had all those chances and

that gave him is a much confidence, Krajinovic. He did find a bit of

rhythm from the back and sometimes Jamie Murray and Inglot, they were

looking to cross. That third set was so important particularly British

point of view, they had loads of chances to beat to set - love up and

if ended up having those chances in the third and not winning that said,

it could have been very sticky. 11 break point in the second and third,

the took one. It was going to be a regulation doubles win. They

should've been up to set- love and this is what we expected and then

the next thing they lose that and it was getting a bit dodgy therefore a

time and I was getting a bit nervous, thinking this is starting

to slip the other way and Jamie Murray was getting upset, it may be

a problem with his vision or the Sunday something. They have to snap

out of this, I thought and the dead and the class came through at the

end. It is also a very different feel on that court. Jamie Murray

with his brother Andy, on the other court, he has never missing returns.

Every time there is a big point, there is a boggling in the Court all

the time and today he knew what to expect, that Inglot would not be as

consistent but it's just a different feel because Jamie Murray himself is

having to make more returns so it's a different type of pressure. The

combined well together in the moments. The came through and there

was a lot of pressure on them. It's almost better to play against a

better team because this is a 50-50 match, they were 80, 20 Billy to win

this match, especially when the change that the partnership of the

Serbian team. We may have the few minutes left but we can hear from

rainy May and Dominic Inglot. Here are the victorious doubles pair

alongside their captain Leon Smith. Jamie, Dom, congratulations, it was

getting feisty towards the end there, Jamie? Not on our part. They

felt a bit aggrieved to let Dom have another first serve at the end but

it's the Davis Cup. The crowd was great the whole day. They were doing

their best to turn it around for their team but we got through in the

end and we're really happy to have a lead going Sunday. You're the man

who serve it out and this is your first Davis Cup when free which must

be very special feeling? You better believe! I mean, it's great to

believe feel like you have finally the and put in a bit further team

and serving it out was a little bit nerve wracking, but as I said, with

the likes of Jamie Murray in there, you know when you might miss a third

by a little bit he will help you out and heeded massively on this point.

He deserves a lot of credit for making me feel good. You started

very well as the pair but got very interesting when they won that

second set on the tie-break. Beware that unlucky to win that set, we

didn't return as well as they would have liked. Dom was serving

incredibly well, I was serving pretty smart. It was just

unfortunate we can capitalise at the end of the second set and beware

that unlucky a couple of points but it felt like we stuck to our guns

and kept getting the ball back. We had a good chance to win and prove

that in the third and fourth sets with the breaks of serve that

regard. They make a lot of noise, don't they, those 300 fans?

Absolutely. At the beginning of yesterday, it relied than the rest

of the guys here, however many they work. Credit to them because the

Serbians are knowing for being a feisty crowd. They make it really

massive, a great experience for us and keeping it neutral in a venue

and that makes a big difference. The rather the legends and we love them.

Leon, how was that for you on the team bench? You live and breathe

everything got shot and every single rally. Not as stressful as other

recent doubles experiences? Rae I don't know about that. Only joking.

As Jamie said earlier, they were holding serve really efficiently,

very easily. They had a tonne of chances in the second set on break

point. Didn't panic. It's great to have Dom having his first Davis Cup

victory, Jamie, or Bisley, is very experienced now and in big matches

like that, you can rely upon him to come out and keep everything

together when it really counts. Dom, with his serve, it was great to have

him with that first serve towards the end really helped as well. That

is the big weapon that helps us. It was great to hear from all of them

out in Belgrade and thank you to Jamie and to John. We will be back
