felt a change was essential and sacked the manager. Step forward the

assistant - David Flitcroft and he hasn't looked back. While still far

from safety, they have a fighting chance of playing second tier

football next season. Mentally I left when Ian got the sack. You have

a period of reflection. I had that while still working at the club. I

knew was only short-term. In that period, I reflected where we had

failed. It was important for me as a human being to galvanise people. It

is about the players and the fans and about the board and being able
