I am so happy for him. An amazing emotional night for the

whether it was -- as to how you pronounced his name. It is Payet. It

was an amazing night for him. He was outstanding. He said of himself

after the game. He worked hard. Sometimes you think the game is only

about skill. He did it yesterday. But it is about how much you wanted.

We saw that with Payet. We can talk about the skills and the goal, but

his desire was second to none. It was outstanding. The way he played

was outstanding. At times he was like Zidane. He knew exactly what he

wanted to do. The whole stadium was with him. What a goal. The West Ham

fans know what he is all about, but what a player. It was a performance

from a player who wanted to show the nationwide he should be wearing a

French shirt. This was his time. His performance was incredible. Let's

hope we see that again from him in the next couple of games. A lot of

people often say players do not care, they only think about what

comes with the game. You saw a guy that cares about his nation. You saw

a guy that cares about his football. You saw a guy who did not go to the

World Cup. People did not expect him to be there. Because of how much he

wanted it, and because of the skills also, because you need to be a

skilled player... Now there is an efficiency in what he was doing. He

did not have that before. Now he always wants to go forward. That is

the difference. This is something I said yesterday when we were

together. I am looking at what he is doing here and it is just too much.

I can't remember ever needing to remind them how important it is that

we perform for our country. I don't see that changing. A big day

the nation at home? Means the world to them. They have followed Wales

all their lives. They have had some new disappointments. 2004 we missed

semi-final of the Cup. You are going to play against a good team that

have good players in midfield, that's going to give you a good

tempo. We know that Wayne Rooney will work hard. He will run, defend.

Cover his left-back, cover his right-back, whatever he does, he

usually does it. I also want Wayne Rooney to be efficient in the last

third of the field. That's where we know that he can create. Maybe

that's why also he's playing. You don't have a lot of creators in

midfield. Alli loves to run. He will support the cast like we know. Jack

Wilshere can create also from the bench, apparently from the team that

we have right now. I just hope that Wayne Rooney won't become a problem

in the tournament because I think he's good enough. Is he going to be

able to be efficient at both ends of the field? I think he's clever

enough to know when to take his rest. Now we have good attacking

players, Kane, Lallana, Alli will bombing and Wayne will say - I can

leave them to get on with it a little bit. Roy will not play him in

if you go away with your family and people that you love, you're going

to argue. You are going to argue. If it's two weeks or three weeks.

Imagine when you go as a team with the egos that you have, the

characters that you have. EGOS? I can't believe it. I wasn't talking

about myself, obviously. We're talking about other players. Yeah,

yeah. That's what you have to take into consideration, too. Harmony is

crucial. In the last World Cup Germany got it right. Let's turn our

attention to our first live game today as ail Bain ya take on

Switzerland in Lens. There are some familiar names to look out for and

plenty of links between the two sides. Gold, it somehow ends up in

the heights. In glimpses he shows magic moments. This is a World Cup

hat-trick against Honduras. Yes. He is capable of this. It is about

finding a role for him in the team Murray does not have to do too much

work going backwards. Maybe a number ten. His ability is not in question.

That day he destroyed Manchester City. I think they all destroyed

Manchester City on their day. I do not think he meant that. He claimed

he did. No chance. As a good left footed player, that is exactly what

They have had five red cars between them this season. Granit is slightly

ahead, 3-2. It will be a good game. Albania will play nice and tight and

narrow, get men behind the ball. Switzerland should have more of the

ball. They have got a great chance, these teams. Thierry told me the

were pouring into Lens. The atmosphere quite something. These

two countries more than 500 miles apart. It feels like a Derby match

with some money links between the teams. Ten members of the Albanian

side were either born in Switzerland live there. As for the Swiss, six of

their squad have family links to Albania or Kosovo, and five of them

start today. They include Granit Jack, the new Arsenal signing. He

lines up against his brother. It is the first time siblings have faced

each other at a European championship. A few nervous faces in

does seem to ditch the cards out. He set a precedent. Hopefully it will

want to make an impression. Rodriguez... Finding a little bit of

space. He did well. The full-backs getting forward,

Rodriguez, in particular. Excellent left foot. A poor challenge from the

Albania right-back up against Rodriguez. The Albania fans on the

far side giving it to Shaqiri at the moment. As he goes across to take

Switzerland are ahead. Inside the first five minutes of the game.

The defender from Hoffenheim, scored twice in qualifying. He got a big

goal here. A perfect start for Switzerland. Poor goalkeeping. Into

out, doesn't get there. Poor goalkeeping. A free header at the

goalkeeping. It's been a nervy start for Albania at the start of this

he had a tough season in Germany as well. He started around 20 matches

for them during the campaign. His side only just avoided the drop.

Certainly got the better of Berish there. Albania looking to fire back

straightaway. He's often an isolated figure, the number 10. Free-kick.

They play for a 4-5-1 system. They try to transfer it to 4-3-3. When

they go long and get the ball into the striker, it's difficult to try

to get in support quickly. Settling the nerves in the Swiss team.

You like crosses coming in. The Swiss defence, very, very

comfortable. Albania scored the fewest number of in all the

qualifiers to make it here. A severe lack of shots, 28 on target through

qualification. We are about to see Yann Sommer tested for the first

year for Wolfsburg. Almost into a spot of bother there. A little too

casual. Now Xhaka, Roshi. Xhaka continues his run.

Backed up by Roshi. Xhaka is still ploughing forward. Shielded by

Behrami. He was rather hoping the ball would roll over the line. The

pitch is quite slow. It's not a slick surface like we would normally

see. It will hold up a little bit today. A lot of holding in the area

members of the Swiss team, he was saying, play the game rather than

the occasion. Yes, of course. They have settled well, keeping the ball

well and stepping in from defence. Schar is prepared to dictate the

tempo, he is always prepared to get on the ball. A good start from the

Swiss here. They had a mixed bag of results in the leadup to the finals.

They weren't good in the game against Republic of Ireland in

March? I saw them in that game. It was very slow tempo to the game.

They offered little threat going forward. The Republic of Ireland

there. Good chance, straight at Berisha, in goal. Berisha will be

feeling happy now he got his hands on the ball other than when the

corner came over in the fifth minute. A poor strike from

Seferovic. The goalscorer plays for Lazio, but has to play second fiddle

there. Shaqiri. Shaqiri, almost in at the second

attempt. The block made at the second go by Kukeli. The Albanian

left-back gets forward and leaves space for Shaqiri who exploits it

well. Always looking to come in on his left foot then you can pick a

pass out. He started the game well, Shaqiri.

It will be Albania's ball. Highly thought of, Ricardo Rodriguez, the

full-back for Switzerland, isn't he Kevin? He has been a starter for his

national team since he was 19 years of age, four years or so ago much

the German magazine saying it dropped to 18.5 million this summer

because Wolfsburg didn't qualify for the Champions League. He had an

excel ept few years at Wolfsburg, hasn't he? Excellent in the last

World Cup in Brazil. Reputation growing every season. It could

attract one or two players at that price.

Cana, 13 years to the day since he made his international debut, which

was also against Switzerland. Long ball, looking for Sadiku.

Closing down. Switzerland, neat and tidy and the ball away by Granite

Xhaka. Smothered there by his brother. Switzerland come away with

it. Slight miscontrol there by Xhaka. Struggling Albania to get

close to him at the moment. Timely interception there from Cana. Hiss

experience will be key to them this afternoon, he has been around for a

long time now, in his early 30s? Yes he has. An excellent player through

his career as well. Prepared to step in with the ball as well, take the

ball. He has played in midfield, of course.

Albania content to sit back and wait. The game plan has not changed

at all. Allowing the Swiss possession in this sort of area.

Yann Sommer in the Swiss goal largely untroubled for the first 20

minutes. Behrami was out of the Watford team

as often as he was in it towards the end of the season. He is part of the

Swiss starting 11. Free kick against Shaqiri. Do you

think there is more to come from him next season? Yes, I think. He has

had a year in the Premier League. Looking to establish himself. He has

not quite fulfilled his potential yet. An excellent signing for Stoke.

But you are looking for him to kick on with the ability he has.

Fabian Schar just getting it touch on that. Albania have their first

corner of the game. Schar is defending really well. He is

comfortable defending crosses. He is dominating his own six yard box.

Lenjani to take the corner. This is the sort of situation Albania needs

to take advantage of. They will not have too many chances from open

play, I sense. It could be vital for them. They are not filling the areas

too well from corners at the moment. It was not the worst ball put in. A

throw-in for Switzerland. Djourou is 29 now. Made his debut in the World

Cup a decade ago. He missed the 2010 World Cup through injury. He has had

a number of injuries during his career. Philippe Senderos one of

those who did not make the final cut for Switzerland. Dzemaili challenged

by Lorik Cana. And he will be booked straightaway. You go to ground, this

referee is prepared to give a yellow card. It was a heavy challenge. Good

touch initially from Dzemaili. Very late.

Lorik Cana committed to Albania at the age of 19. Spent many of his

early years in Switzerland. Dzemaili looks absolutely fine after that

challenge. Just past the midway point in the first half. Still bad

before Shaqiri and Shaqiri got hold of the shirt. Albania offering

little from an attacking point of view at the moment. They will not

change the way they play but there will come a time in the game when

they have two throw more bodies forward and pose more of an

The first real sighting of goal for Albania in the match. The ball from

the one who is the threat. He is looking to stretch Switzerland at

the moment. Clearly out play. -- out of play. What can Albania do with

this? Both central defenders are open. It came off the boot of Schar.

What a ball played into a really difficult area for the Swiss players

to defend. Albania attacking in the wrong areas. Everyone went to the

near post, nobody prepared to attack the centre of the goal.

Still three inside the penalty area for Albania. Xhaka being one of

them. Rodriguez had time. Finally getting rid of the ball. Not a bad

spell here for Albania. They are starting to see a little bit more of

the ball. Lichsteiner... Dzemaili was furthest

forward. Shaqiri spotted him. Sloppy possession. Switzerland having a

poor spell. Allowing Albania to come into the game. Albania starting to

settle. Siddiqui... Good save by Yann

Sommer! The danger still not clear. The offside flag goes up. It would

not have counted. Sadiku standing in an offside position. Yann Sommer

called into serious action for the first time. He was equal to it. It

was a brilliant ball from whose eyes. -- massage. Huge opportunity.

Yann Sommer spread himself well. What a chance. A good spell for

Albania. Keeping the ball well. The colt doing his bit on the touchline.

They have got to score. They have not settled well. They are having a

good spell. They have to take those chances when they come. Rodriguez

went in hard. Albania's players expressed their displeasure. I think

it is a foul. That is enough. It was a bit heavy. He is trying to say it

was a shoulder. It is just a foul. Good refereeing.

Given away again by Switzerland. Giroud needs to get his skates on

that. Signs of encouragement for Albania. The longer this first-half

as you can see has a card in his hand. The second yellow means that

Cana, the captain of Albania, is sent off here, nine minutes before

half-time. Albania down to 10. As soon as Cana falls and slips on the

floor he knows he in trouble. Instinct took over. He was in on

goal. He knows, easy decision for the referee, really. He gets a good

view of it. It's a correct call. He see it is early on. He knows the

ball is coming straight into his path. No wonder Gianni de Biasi, the

coach of Albania is so far forward. He's almost on the pitch. Across to

receive instruction. It really will be hands on deck for Albania here on

in. Yes. Hardly changed their style of play since going behind. They had

a better spell. Now it will be everyone behind the ball, trying to

contain until they get a chance themselves, from a set-piece. Here

we go. Still in play. Everyone stood and

watched as the ball bounced away, ricocheted off the post. Rodriguez,

with an untimely slip. The Albanian goalkeeper is rooted. He doesn't see

it at all. The ball in. Almost finding Shaqiri. Albania survive.

A whisper away from being 2-0 down. Lichtsteiner's header, Shaqiri. He

is by some distance the most creative player in Switzerland's

side in the qualification process. Rodriguez.

Agolli. Sadiku, just trying to find a little bit of space on the edge of

the penalty area. Unable to get the ball passed

Lichtsteiner. Last 90 second or so of the opening

45 minutes. Albania looking to try to claw their back in this one

before the break. A rare chance to put pressure on

Sommer. Can the 10-men of Albania team sneak

one in before the break? Calm under pressure there. Mavraj up from the

back. Excellent. Just to kill the pressure. He shielded his goalkeeper

there as well. Albania preparing to hold. That could be something that

referees throughout this tournament could be looking at. A block, trying

to get across a runner going in on goal as they attack it. Nothing

wrong with that. One minute of added time. Which we are just going into

now. Behrami. Now Granit Xhaka. Another opportunity before the

referee blows the half-time whistle. Shaqiri, a little too heavy footed.

He had an influential half, Shaqiri. At the heart of most attacks for

Switzerland going forward. Lovely ball, good strike, hit it well going

across, Berisha in goal. Much better goalkeeping that time. Shaqiri with

a good record against Albania. He scored both times he's played

against them before today. Switzerland's ball. The last few

second of this first half. Rodriguez - he doesn't have time to take the

throw. Great start for Switzerland with a goal in the fifth minute of

the game. Fabian Schar with the header. Got the better of Berisha,

who didn't cover himself in glory as he came out to get the ball. Yann

Sommer has been more assured at the other end of the field. Making a

save with his legs to deny Sadiku. . Now the views of Thierry Henry and

Danny. Switzerland in control of the game now, aren't they? They started

in control. Albania came back into the game quite well. The sending off

has really hurt them. Up until that point I think they looked dangerous.

Big, big blow. Tiny mistakes that make the difference. Playing in a

major championship for the first time, their country there are fo the

first time. It's not the first 45 minutes they would have been

dreaming off? They got caught dreaming. I don't know what the

goalkeeper was going to catch there. They got caught day dreamer. They

were playing well better. That's the Albania I know. You can't make those

mistakes in this type of tournament. That is too much. Goalkeeper not

reading the ball well. Cana being, you know, overaggressive, the first

yellow. What a mistake. We were talking with Danny, his body

positioning on the way he fell. He can only fall with the way he was.

We will look at the red card. Let us talk about the position of the

goalkeeper. Five minutes in. Switzerland get the dream start to

their campaign? Is a decent ball in from Shaqiri much I don't know why

he's trying to come through so many people. I'm all for a goalkeeper

trying to take command, I want to show you I'm here and get it. Not

like that. A good header from Schar. The keeper has to pick himself up.

It's gone, finished. Outside of the six-yard box. Let your guys deal

with it. It would have been a comfortable save at the end. You are

1-0 down. Is that nerves, Danny and the occasion? I think the occasion.

He wants to make an impression. He is pumped up He is I thissing, I'm

coming. Instead of waiting for the ball has gone an then deciding. He

has already decided - I'm coming for this. What got him was the pace on

the ball were Shaqiri. That got him. He should never have been there.

Cana the most experienced players for Albania. He played the Premier

League at Sunderland, currently at Nantes he has been found out on two

occasions today? Yes. The first tackle - no, this is Seferovic's

chance, isn't it? This is the tackle here. Here is the A stupid tackle

challenge. . There's no need. He's high up the pitch. Going nowhere.

He's's not even looking at the ball. Running back. Gets his body in the

wrong position. You have to look at the ball, his back was turned to

play. That is what I was trying to explain. You are going to fall. He

is not looking at the ball. Cana has that in his locker. Over aggressive

at times. The first yellow card, why would you tackle there? That's a

straight red, by the way. You don't like the way the way he walked off

he was congratulated by some of his team-mates. I would be fuming with

him. Patting him on the back saying - unlucky mate help probably cost

his team the game. What about the additional chances

that Switzerland could have extended their lead from? Albania could have

been two behind. It should have been a goal.

Player number three chances back and allows the ball to go in. You should

never allow that. If Dzemaili plays the ball like I saw Danny Murphy do

so many times... This was a good move. I am always going to be

overcritical. He did well but I would have opened my foot. But the

energy is there and the desire is there. Seferovic had a couple of

opportunities and Goode finished them better. Albania had a great

opportunity with Sadiku. In recent games he scored a couple of goals,

not exactly low on confidence. And yet when the chance came to him, he

did not look like he was ready. He did not look confident. It is the

best chance they had. Any striker would be disappointed. He takes too

long. He is very indecisive. It has got under his feet. It is a good

save, of course. But he will be disappointed. You would expect him

to score. First game at the Euros, first opportunity. Maybe it got to

his head. He does not usually miss them. What were you do there? I

always like to go first post. I would have finished on the

left-hand side of the goalkeeper. Every time I went there I missed

anywhere! The goalkeeper covers the post. They usually dies and leaves

their leg. If you lifted, it is usually a goal. It is easy to say

from here. I wonder what Granit Jack will do for Arsenal. -- Granit

Xhaka. He is comfortable in possession.

That is a strong tackle. His disciplinary record is not great. I

quite like the fact he does not mind getting stuck in. This is his

strength. His passing. The ability to spray the ball about the pitch.

This is what Arsenal fans will be wanting to do. Determination to get

the ball back. Nice and strong. Tenacious. This is the makes of his

game I was talking about before. The ability to do this spot set pass. --

he spots a pass. Can you produce a good ball with the time? Yes, he

can. Promising. It is an incredible story about the

brothers. One playing for Switzerland and one for Albania. I

know the focuses on the football today but the history behind it and

the fact they are both playing for opposite nations is incredible. He

did not even care about playing against his brother. He went right

in and tackled. I don't know in history of one brother who plays for

one national team and another for another national team. It is great.

But he does not actually care if he is playing against his brother,

against his roots. He is playing for Switzerland. He is doing what he has

to do to win the game. Just under two horizontal Wales get under way

against Slovakia. Jason Mohammad is pitch side with a very excited

Robbie Savage. Robbie Savage has turned up because

he is so looking forward to seeing his country had a major finals.

Historic day for words football. In with a real opportunity against a

good Slovakia side. To be here as a Welshman watching my country in a

major tournament is brilliant. There have been so many near misses. Today

is the day to stop talking about Joe Jordan's handball at Anfield in

1977. You came close in 2003. What is so special about this group of

players? Their togetherness and that splash of a superstar in Gareth

Bale. If half this team walked down the road in Britain, you would not

know who they are. But with Gareth Bale added to that, this group of

players have achieved so much. And for us as proud Welshman, to see

this group over achieved, they kept clean sheets in the group. With

Gareth Bale, what a real chance they have today. The other key thing

about how Chris Coleman goes about the business is they are so well

organised and soul together. That is what has got them here. They are

relaxed. They play with a smile on their faces. They can enjoy

themselves today. If they achieve the qualifying success in a real

good way and finish second, today they are under pressure. They had a

good qualifying campaign. The spine of the team today is important. When

we got to the ground today, there is a lot of speculation about Wayne

Hennessey not being fit. We do not know if it is correct. A big day for

Danny Ward if he has to come in? Yes, he played 21 times for Aberdeen

this season, twice the Liverpool. Hennessy is good at coming for

crosses. It would be a huge day for Danny Ward. We do not know until you

get the team sheets. What are you going to do when Wales score their

first goal at a major championship chip? Just to be here and commentate

on the game will be amazing. If we do score, all the pressure goes on

England! I knew you'd get reference to that game in somewhere.

Goodbye for now. We did not expect anything less than Robbie Savage

being pumped up for Wales's first match in a major international

tournament. A lot of hope invested in the team and in the individual,

the outstanding superstar, Gareth Bale. When you are so good and you

are recognised as one of the best players in the world, does that

bring a special responsibility? The other players do look to you. It

does. I think Gareth Bale is used to it by now. Especially playing at

real Madrid. Being the guy of the Welsh national team. You have to say

something about Wales. The way they defend, they are compact, they are a

unit. Then your star player can win you the game. If you are already

behind at half-time, what is Gareth Bale going to do? They did recognise

that they need to be compact, tight and not concede any goals. When you

have the likes of Gareth Bale, you can always win again. You have to

build a platform for the superstar? They have. The formation it looks

like they are going to play today, to concentrate all Gareth Bale's

energy to undoing the creative stuff, is a good idea. -- all his

creative energy in doing the creative stuff.

Gary Lineker will be joined by Dean Saunders, Rio Ferdinand and Alan

Shearer for that match. England have to wait longer before

they enter the tournament against Russia in Marseille. Gabby Logan has

been looking ahead to that game with one of Marseille's favoured sons,

Chris Waddle. I am here in a calm, peaceful oasis

of tranquillity. Chris waddle alongside me. If we went out there,

you would be mobbed. You are still very much a hero in these parts.

Take us back to your time here. Paradise. I used to call it fantasy

Island. It was unbelievable. After a couple of months here it gelled. It

football pitch. When anybody wants to go abroad, make sure you do it on

went back and I did not really want to go back. I could have spent the

rest of my days here. You are hoping England some -- experience some of

that euphoria tonight. How should they set up? They should set off on

the front foot. Control the game. England have two watch the

counterattacking football. They have to make the tempo hi, press Russia

and get the ball in the box as much as possible. Play like a Premier

League team. Is that how Roy Hodgson is going to set them up? He has too.

We're not the best at keeping the ball and playing slow. We are best

on the front foot. England have always been good at set pieces.

Russia will not like defending set pieces. 2-0 to England. Thank you,

Chris. Be careful out there. There are a lot of people who still

recognise you! Today the game is all about the

second half of Albania against Switzerland. Is there a way back for

Albania? No. I think the Swiss will control

it now. Let's rejoins Simon Brotherton and

Kevin Kilbane. Thank you, Dan. No changes made by

either manager at half-time. As Danny was suggesting, it is quite a

tall order for Albania. The longer they can keep it at one, they might

manage a goal, a penalty. A set piece could be the way back in. I

totally agree with Danny. It is so difficult. The way Switzerland kept

the ball in the first half, I cannot really see a way in from an

attacking point of view for Albania. Switzerland have never won their

opening game at the finals. A couple of drawers and one defeat. What an

opportunity to make a winning start in France.

Behrami winning the ball back for Switzerland. Abrashi went diving in

on Shaqiri. Tuqiri trying to create problems. Rodriguez, the full-back,

getting forward. -- Shaqiri. He always plays on the have to turn

when he goes inside. He has an awareness that he can turn. -- the

half turn. Frustration for debris Azi. -- De Biasi. The referee did

not have much choice with the sending-off. A clear handball. He

had to go. It would have been interesting to see what happened had

that not occurred. Yes, they were coming into the game, they were

causing problems. A huge transfer Sadiku. They had settled down after

the initial nerves. -- a huge chance for Sadiku.

ethnic Albanian family. Moved to Switzerland. He did not celebrate

when he scored against Albania a couple of years ago.

Only started once for his club side all season, but getting the start

for the national team today. On the right hand side.

Kukeli. There is a chance for Switzerland to get a couple of goals

in this match now. Keep the ball well, but no real forward passing.

No real incision with the passing going forward. You feel, with the

players they have in this side, they can carve Albania open. If they do

that, they more or less put themselves into the next phase.

Consistently defensively, Albania, especially with XI on the pitch.

Still only one goal in this one. Ricardo Rodriguez. Shaqiri, just

beaten to it by Berisha. Lichtsteiner was the player in the

first half getting forward, Rodriguez getting forward. They will

look to do that more and more during this second-half. Finding, Agolli.

Mavraj. Interestingly, we were looking at half-time, Kevin, at the

goal once again, the goalkeeper wasn't strong at all coming out from

it. Mavraj, the number 15 for Albania, was trying to mark Schar

and slipped as the ball came into the penalty area. It doesn't excuse

the goalkeeper. Mavraj was marking Schar of course. Lost his footing in

the area. That's what is happens, isn't it? It can be a mistake that

can cost teams in big, big games. Working it into space. A long chase

for Sadiku. Sadiku almost got his toe on that. Well, that was very

nearly something from nothing. Uncomfortable for Djourou. So

fortunate there Djourou. Albania buoyed by that, encouraged by that,

on this landmark day in their sporting history. Rushing forward

once more. Djourou was more confident this time. He has conceded

a throw-in. He failed to deliver a really telling cross. Well dealt

with by Djourou though. Away by Schar. Seferovic.

Dzemaili who scored a few goals recently for the national team.

He works very hard. I think he prefers playing further forward as

an attacking player. Has to fulfil a different role in the side. Forward

now. It's chased by Sadiku, once again.

Brilliant pass. He's prepared to run in behind Sadiku. He is a threat.

Vladimir Petkovic declared ahead of the tournament, "we are no longer

little Switzerland" he can reportedly speak several different

languages. Which can be handy as a manager of a team with so many

different languages. Here's Lichtsteiner.

Mavraj has come with him. It will be a throw-in to Switzerland.

Lichtsteiner has had another successful year with Juventus. Just

won their tournament for the fifth year in a row.

Left the door jar a couple of minutes ago to Sadiku. Switzerland

could do with a second goal to give themselves a little bit more

breathing room. Mehmedi. Now Behrami. Xhaka. The shot brings the

save from Berisha. Excellent play. One, two passing. Good ball through

from Xhaka. Switzerland probing patiently,

trying to find that opening for a second goal. Lichtsteiner.

Whooping that in towards Shaqiri. The flag has gone up straightaway.

Albania with the free-kick. He's had a couple of good saves after the

start that he actually did make. Xhaka, a brilliant ball. Seferovic,

on to his left foot, a toe-poke in the end. Straight at Berisha. He

stood up well. Berisha is not the first-choice at Lazio, he still did

play 20 matches for them during the season, including 11 in the league.

I didn't realise he was as good as he was. He had to keep a strong arm.

He didn't want to be beaten on his inside of course, he did well to

make the save. He was hoping it would open up for him. He picked

himself up quickly as soon as he realised the referee wasn't injured.

Here comes Shaqiri, Lichtsteiner. Switzerland have finished bottom of

their Group every time they have been at a championships. Threatened

a second goal here. Xhaka. Misyou coos. Frustration among the players.

Xhaka giving his team-mate an ear full. He feels he is slowing the

game down too much. Help wants the game moved on quickly. Most of the

Albanian fans not too down hearted all the while it remains at 1-0,

even though they are down to 10-men following the sending off of Cana. A

difficult afternoon made a whole lot troublesome with that sending off,

nine minutes before half-time. 10 minutes into the second-half.

A free-kick here. A slight change at half-time. Kukeli is dropped into

centre-half for them achl more balanced side going forward.

Behrami had a decent game. Shaqiri - stopping there at the third time of

asking. Mavraj came across. Shaqiri, Lichtsteiner 15 yards

behind him. Well, Albania are hanging in there in this game.

Keeping it tight, as expected. Can Switzerland break it open here?

This is what you would expect, listening to the lads in the studio,

they have to contain. They had chances in the match. If another one

presented itself they have to be able to take it. They are sitting

too deep. Sadiku too isolated himself upfront. His team-mates were

50 yards of him there when the ball was played forward. Good rning

Lichtsteiner. Could be an opportunity. Quickly surrounded.

Flicking that one clear. Up the line from Agolli. Chip by Behrami. Losing

the ball. Collected. The flag is up for offside.

Seferovic got out of the way in that situation to avoid a daft yellow

card. Here's Hysaj. Went racing forward over on that far

difficult team to play against. In this second-half it was a chance for

Switzerland to go and set a mark, or lay a marker down for the

Switzerland haven't moved the ball quick enough. Haven't got themselves

into goalscoring positions. Only the fourth corner of the whole match for

Switzerland. It shows it hasn't all been one way traffic by any stretch.

by the Spanish referee. Kukeli doing his best to keep tabs on Seferovic.

Any number of tussles inside the penalty area. Need not worry as it

Albania certainly had a couple of chances to get a draw out of this

Will feel hard done by they have not been able to salvage a draw from

help his side. They were in the ascendancy at this stage. He got his

body position wrong, he turned his back. He does not know when the ball

is coming. Then he slips. There were a lot of people slipping today. The

pitch was not very good. It is a bad decision. Would you say also that it

is a straight red? I think it is a straight red. He will only miss one

game instead of three. You knew something about putting the ball in

the back of the net. Talk is through these three chances for the same

player for Switzerland in the second half. Like the wave moves away from
