Good morning, welcome to highlights from the 10th day of the 2014 World

Cup. Three matches this morning, including maybe a bit of Klose magic

when you watch Argentina against Iran's. Let's start with Germany, so

impressive in the opening game against Portugal, taking on Garner,

who were beaten in the opener by the USA. Your commentators are Danny

Murphy and Guy Mowbray. This will be warm work for the

players of Germany and Ghana, which is designed to be cool outside, but

teams found very tough in the confederations cup last year in

similar conditions. Germany are unchanged from their win over

Portugal which means Matt Hummels has been passed fit from a thigh

injury. His defensive partner, Per Mertesacker, becomes the 13th player

to reach 100 appearances for Germany. Hat-trick hero Thomas

Muller begins his second half-century of games. Changes were

expected to the team for Ghana, and there are three. Dauda's physicality

has earned him the starting place. There is a place for Kevin Prince

Boateng, set to go head-to-head with his half brother, Jerome. Nothing to

be decided sure in this group today. Although Germany could put

themselves within a whisker of qualification. A defeat for Ghana

would almost certainly see them eliminated. Montanari -- something

for Atsu to chase. Kevin Prince Boateng is in the middle. So is Tien

-- Diane -- Diane will stop -- Gyan. Atsu was properly their best player

against the US, and good there. Ghana don't lack confidence. It is

the danger man again, that sweet left foot. Ghana are going down that

side again. Atsu finds Rabbi -- Rubio, who doesn't make those runs

lightly. Good strike. We have seen him score that sort of goal before.

A bit too close to Manuel Moya. You certainly can hear them. -- he

certainly can hear them, and the better chances are going to Ghana.

-- hit them. Ghana have done OK. Reasonably impressed with them, they

have caused some problems. Measured Ozil. Gotze. Decent volley, but

straight down the keeper 's midriff. A clever position taken by Philip

alarm. -- Ozil. Trying to find Thomas Muller. Looking for goat C.

Found him all right -- goats. And goats finds the net. -- goats are --

Dotzler. Mario got that is the beneficiary. Germany one, Ghana

zero. Real quality. Perfect pass. Great run inside the full-back. Not

sure it is the cleanest header. It has actually hit his knee after it's

come off his face, but let's not take away from the past from Thomas

Muller. Fantastic. Playing with a real confidence. -- the past will

stop -- the Pasteur and Thomas Muller. -- the pass from Thomas

Muller. It comes out to Atsu. Looking to

play the fast ball into the feet of Gyan. Not a bad cross from Harrison,

it is 1-1. It is Ayew, two in two games for him. Germany not in front

of a very long at all. Probably the second brilliant ball we have seen

in the match, and we have two goals. Wonderful cross from Harrison, and a

great leap from Ayew. The full-backs of, -- the full-backs have come on.

Gotze might not know what he was doing. But he got that just right,

Ayew. And as against the US, he scored an equaliser. A largely

sterile first but the style of the second half is different. Well

anticipated. Asamoah Gyan. Super finish. We have got a turnaround,

and we might be set for a mother World Cup turn up. -- another World

Cup turn up. The young guns of Gotze -- -- of the young guns of Ghana

have come back. Finished in fine style by Asamoah Gyan, with his

fifth World Cup goal. Who played. -- a play.

A goal-scorer like Gyan, he doesn't turn away opportunities like that.

Really calm, composed finish. Now we will see what the Germans have got.

Jordan Ayew. Jordan Ayew pokes his way past. Look at the pace. Gyan in

the centre. Jordan Ayew tries to do it by himself, and Asamoah Gyan

tried to do it himself. I think he got carried away because the run was

so fantastic. Toni Kroos finds Shrine Steiger.

Plenty of room for Ozil. Defended well, and Germany corner. Inches

away from Toni Kroos. Better move from Germany -- Germany. It is in.

Germany are level. Miroslav Klose runs away to celebrate a record

equalling goal. 15 goals at the World Cup finals, he is joint top

dog with Ronaldo. 2-2, Klose on the pitch, and that is his first touch

of the ball. Instinctive. Typical striker's goal. A striker who was 36

on the ninth of this month. All about positioning, knowing where to

be. Not sure about the celebration. Good have done himself some damage.

He used to make that with ease when he was 34. Scoring more goals that

-- than Gerd Muller. How is that possible? Toni Kroos. Klose! Super

save. Thomas Muller was running through. Absolutely brilliant

defending by Asamoah. If Ghana got a draw, they have a point, and Germany

would have four. Portugal not off the mark, USA with three. Maybe

another twist to come with Klose! . You don't often see him fail to hit

the target. Thought that was the moment. Just got over the ball a

bit. I don't want this to end. I just thought exactly the same. Give

us another few minutes, come on. Ozil. Free kick for chance. First

yellow card of the match. I don't know why he is on the floor. He's

only got himself to blame. He does it every game he plays. Stupid free

kick C gives away. That could be telling in the last game. I've got

no symmetry for him. Toni Kroos has had a word with Thomas Muller --

I've got no sympathy for him. The header is blocked, the full-time

whistle sounded, and we have witnessed a crashing -- cracking

second half. We do have some drama at the end, because oh, dear, look

at Thomas Muller's face. He has gone crashing into Boy. Brilliant

header. Thomas Muller obviously desperate to get the winner. A

superb second 45 minutes in particular. Germany have the

advantage with four points, and Ghana are off the mark. It's

therefore the US to take over in first place if they can beat

Portugal tonight. That was some second-half. A wonderful second

half, and Garner made a point. -- Ghana. They attacked with so much

speed and ambition. At 1.I thought they had the Germans. But they

bought on Klose, and they turned it around. Germany might be happy to

get the point because Ghana had chances. Mertesacker and Hummels

were exposed, especially when they were 2-1. They showed that they are

vulnerable at the back, and that is something a lot of teams will be

wondering about. You do think there are weaknesses in the German side,

because up until this point may have been eulogised. If they are up in a

game, they can control it and they don't commit to many forward, but

when both full-backs have to go forward, Mertesacker in particular

likes people around him, and tonight he was exposed, particularly by

Asamoah Diame. Garner have to beat Portugal in their last game. --

Ghana have to be Portugal. Can you see them doing that? I saw enough

speed and adventure. They played with great spirit. I think it will

come down to the USA against Germany. Juergen Klinsmann against

Germany will be the big game in the group. The Ghanaians will be kicking

themselves with the way they played against the US. Cheekily giving away

a late goal, but the African teams are -- particularly giving away a

late goal, but the African teams are starting to improve. What one of the

other pretournament favourites, Argentina? They sneaked past Bosnia,

so how would cope against Iran? Incomer sport the shame -- infamous

for the shame of England so far, but Gonzalo Higuain came on in the

opening of Argentina's win, and he starts. Iran make one change, show

Jaidee comes in to provide more creativity.

It is like downtown one sire is here. Blue and white shirts

everywhere. -- downtown Wyness Iris -- Buenos Iris will

Messi said he was unhappy with the opening formation. There have been

reports that there was a bust up between him and the coach. The coach

has denied it, but it's significant that he has started 4-3-3.

Free kick here. Dejagah will take this for Iran. Should be easily

dealt with. That was poor defending. Not the best of headers, and he beat

the first man to easily. Two of them creeping in behind.

Lovely ball into Gonzalo Higuain. Fine goalkeeping. Came out quickly

to thwart the Napoli striker. Argentina dominating possession, as

we expected, of course. Iran only had 30% possession against Nigeria.

Here is de Maria. Higuain. Aguero. Up and over to make the save by

Haghighi. Argentina getting into their stride. A good combination,

and certainly going in. Diego Maradona Luxon. -- looks on. They

have all 11 behind the ball again, Iran. Mascherano switching the play.

De Maria. He drew the foul. Unnecessary given away by

Ghoochanneijhad. Messi starting to focus. Messi with it. And the header

over. Couldn't get over the ball, the six foot to centre-back.

A free kick for I ran. They kept 11 clean sheets in 17 games in the

whole campaign, including qualifying, but have rarely looked

like scoring in the finals. Corner. Mascherano was there as well.

Argentina have not been at ease with set piece situations and the ball

swung up high. Dejagah will take the corner. Corner kick swung away. I

think it had gone out of play first. It is clear Argentina will lead to

do better in the second half. Mascherano. Good piece of skill.

Played out wide. Can they get the crossing? So nearly from

Ghoochanneijhad. One of the most remarkable goals of the World Cup.

Every Iranian and every Brazilian in the ground, an error in their view,

were willing that into the back the net. -- and there are a fair few.

How many people around the world are roaring for the underdogs now? They

have defended yet again, with great discipline, as they did through

qualifying, now can they break out? Looking for Dejagah. Zabaleta is

there. Was that a penalty? The referee is giving nothing Iran's

away, and they are furious, and I think Zabaleta switched off and

looked late on the challenge on Dejagah. Very lackadaisical. Did he

sweep the ball away with his right foot? Yes, he just flicked the ball.

How tight was that? Argentina on the attack. Messi with

the run. That was typical. So typical of the man. Finally had room

to run at Iran. " a solve his boot to bend the ball in. Argentina a

neighbour -- unable to break the ball down. Dejagah with the attack.

Splendid save and over. The Fulham man is denied. Terrific goalkeeping

from Romero. Brilliant bowling. Zabaleta could not deal with --

brilliant ball in. The goalkeeper only just put it over. Iran are six

minutes away from one of their greatest ever results in world

football. That is a good run by de Maria. Early cross. Lavezzi in

there. The centre halves have been magnificent for Iran. It is

Argentina's 10th corner. De Maria will take it. -- Di Maria. Here is

the substitute, Jahanbakhsh. Here is Ghoochanneijhad for Iran. Blocked by

Romero. If that had gone in, you would have seen it again and again

and again for years to come. Four minutes of stoppage time announced.

Lavezzi. Messi, give it to him and pray. Oh, and he has done it! It had

to be Messi. He has broken in parts. When in doubt, give it to the

magician -- he has broken Iranians hearts. The world's greatest player

has come up with another magnificent goal. They shimmy to the left, and

deliciously bend in. Look how far wide it started. And for all of

Iran's defending, they simply could not keep it out, that magnificent,

world-class finish. Now they can celebrate. He stretched six port and

five inches and still couldn't get there. It has been a long, long,

time coming -- six foot. It was worth the wait. In stoppage time,

the hearts of Iran are broken. Argentina are through to the second

phase. Let's find out how the other two teams in the group have been

getting on, Nigeria against Bosnia. Steve Wilson and Kevin Kilbane are

your commentators. It is likely that whoever wins this

game will join Argentina in the last 16 of the tournament. Nigeria,

African champions, making three changes. Joseph Yobo comes in. The

tweaks are attacking ones, basically taking out the defensive midfielder

and bringing on Odin Winnie. -- Odemwingie. Kolasinac is left out.

Babatunde trying to provide support. The deflection takes it away. Good

strength. A little bit stretched here, Bosnia. Begovic, away to his

right, and Jon Obi Mikel is off target. Moussa always looking to

stretch the defence. Good strike, but not confident he would hit the

target. Pjanic, clever ball. Misimovic. Edin

Dzeko, on-site, no, he's not. Offside. The flag was a little bit

late, but it was up. Well, wonderful vision from Pjanic. Got his head up,

looking forward, good movement from Dzeko. Really was a bad decision.

Good movement from Dzeko. Pjanic. Edin Dzeko. Definitely onside this

time. A really good chance this, and a decent save. Great movement from

Dzeko. Brilliant ball from Pjanic. Very unlucky. The last few minutes

have been a difficult spell the Nigeria, but here is Odemwingie. He

can pull it back, and it is Odemwingie, 1-0. Peter Odemwingie

with the goal. Spahic left on his backside, and it was pulled back

into the path of Peter Odemwingie. Nigeria have the lead. They are

claiming a foul on Spahic. The Nigeria take the lead. Read talks

about them, and they are a threat going forward. He just wanted it

more and outmuscle Spahic. Recognising he had the beating of

him. Fully exploited. Really good run from him. Spahic actually tried

to file him. A good pull-back and a good finish from Odemwingie. -- try

to foul him. Definitely no foul. Tidy finish from Odemwingie.

There are three inside the area. Comfortable for Spahic. Babatunde

has time to bring it down and wriggle through challenges.

Babatunde's shot and Begovic with the save. Nearly came back to Emily

K. Can't get out at the moment, Bosnia.

The temporary. Good save by Begovic. Great save. He has kept them in it

-- Moussa. Coming in off the right. Ms controlled, but he felt him there

and a great save by Begovic. Ibisevic. Subasic. Corner. A lot of

aerial presence, the Bosnians. Corner kick, Ibisevic. That is a big

chance. What a chance, what a chance. An absolute sitter for

Ibisevic. Up towards Edin Dzeko. He might have got a click on that. Good

blog, Yobo in the way. Pjanic now. They have got a corner. They have

got a minimum of three minutes in which to score a goal. Pjanic will

take it. Eight or nine inside the area. A near post flick. After Yobo,

back to Pjanic. Downward header. Dzeko into the gloves of the

goalkeeper. It has not been his night. Very little to feed off,

especially in the second half. Good downward header, but straight at the

goalkeeper. They look exhausted, Bosnia. Dead on their feet, aren't

they? Edin Dzeko held it up. Can't believe it. He has hit the post. The

goalkeeper got something on it. I did say it was not his night. Edin

Dzeko, against the woodwork. It would have kept them in the World

Cup. The keeper dived early as well. Of his leg, onto the right-hand

post. And out of the World Cup go Bosnia and Herzegovina. So this is

how the group looks. Argentina are through, Nigeria in second place on

four points ahead of Iran, and Bosnia-Hercegovina, who cannot now

progress, with Argentina finishing off, while Bosnia take on Iran in

Salvador. The second game in succession

Argentina haven't necessarily lit the place up but Messi has saved

them. Both times in the second half. Everyone thought Iran would be the

whipping boys of the group, but they created the best chances and they

deserve something from the game, if not a victory but we are so lucky

that we are probably witnessing the greatest player of all-time, who

comes up with magical moment in every game. The moments are quite

similar in how he scores the goals. We had another chance in the game,

in on his left foot. Not slamming it, bending it. He takes so much

care in striking the ball. The defender from Iran probably thought

he was doing a good job to show him inside but he is lethal from that

area and he set the ball outside the area and the technique of not

hitting it too hard but getting that right, that is what sets him apart.

I think he is a genius. Quick line on Nigeria, their first win at the

World Cup since 1998 and have given themselves a good chance. A great

chance. They defended really well Bosnia side who kept hitting them on

the break. A lot of long-range shots, 14 in the game. I think they

deserved to win the game. We expected more from Bosnia. Not Edin

Dzeko's night. Four of five good chances, a goal disallowed which

should not have been. Pjanic was probably the best midfield

performance I've seen for a long time. His technique, awareness,

vision was something we will miss in the rest of the World Cup. That is
