Hello, welcome back to the Olympic Games here in Rio. In Olympic Park

:00:19.:00:27.

it's very busy. It's a holiday. Lots of people taking may be their first

:00:28.:00:30.

opportunity to see an Olympic sport. We are very shortly going to be

:00:31.:00:33.

showing you live quarterfinal coverage from the tae. Four years

:00:34.:00:39.

ago a 19-year-old Jade Jones, who had been introduced to martial arts

:00:40.:00:42.

wench was just eight years old because she was a very naughty child

:00:43.:00:47.

-- introduced to martial arts when she was just eight years old because

:00:48.:00:50.

she was a very naughty child, and she has ended up Great Britain's

:00:51.:00:57.

first Olympic tae kwon do champion. COMMENTATOR:

:00:58.:01:03.

One life, and its defining moment. Jade Jones going for Britain's first

:01:04.:01:10.

ever gold medal in this sport. She can be enormously pleased with her

:01:11.:01:16.

start to this final. Jones has just doubled the lead. What a great

:01:17.:01:21.

second round that was. Just two minutes standing between Jade Jones

:01:22.:01:27.

and we know what. Point by point, the gold gets closer and closer. You

:01:28.:01:35.

little beauty! And the teenage kicking superstar from North Wales

:01:36.:01:39.

is the Olympic champion. She will remember this for ever.

:01:40.:01:45.

Jade Jones is in a very different position now, because she comes in

:01:46.:01:51.

as top seed and defending champion. This has just started. Let's join

:01:52.:01:52.

our commentary. COMMENTATOR:

:01:53.:02:04.

Find the target therefore the push kick and scores a shot underneath

:02:05.:02:12.

and a response that from Raheleh Asemani. She puts one on the board.

:02:13.:02:17.

An engaging contest. Fantastic, just feeling each other out, getting the

:02:18.:02:20.

distance right and just assessing the target. The target of causes the

:02:21.:02:31.

Olympic Games semifinal. Belgium in blue, Jade Jones coming forward

:02:32.:02:35.

there. Well covered by Raheleh Asemani. Flicking up to the head

:02:36.:02:43.

there from Jones, it's worth three points if it schools. It doesn't on

:02:44.:02:45.

this occasion. Tense times here as they look for

:02:46.:02:58.

the distance. Jones again tries that flicking shot upstairs. Getting

:02:59.:03:02.

closer. Yes, she looks that little bit nervous at first. It just

:03:03.:03:06.

depends on how much, obviously she wants it so badly, she just has to

:03:07.:03:11.

calm herself down. She manages to stay calm and find that three point

:03:12.:03:16.

head shot. Back kick as well. It's beginning to look good from the

:03:17.:03:21.

Flint fighter as she signalled the -- she wants the extra point for the

:03:22.:03:25.

back kick. I think it's already gone up. 7-1 to Jade Jones.

:03:26.:03:31.

What a way to end the first round there. Perfection from Jade Jones.

:03:32.:03:39.

Raheleh Asemani started well but what a response. Yes, what a

:03:40.:03:44.

response there. She got scored on and it was almost a wake-up call

:03:45.:03:49.

then she started to go forwards on the attack. 7-1 after the first

:03:50.:03:51.

round, perfect. This is the initial book -- push

:03:52.:04:02.

pics, scoring one point apiece, then it was the Flex ability and timing

:04:03.:04:04.

of Jones that put her ahead. She'll be happy coming into this

:04:05.:04:18.

second pairing with that lead and full of confidence now, she has felt

:04:19.:04:22.

her out, she knows what she's got to do.

:04:23.:04:27.

Advice there from Paul Green, her coach. Don't follow it, keep away

:04:28.:04:35.

from her, you don't need to go for the second score. Jade Jones of

:04:36.:04:39.

Great Britain in red, Raheleh Asemani, we mentioned the back story

:04:40.:04:44.

of the Belgian, she has fought against great adversity and she's

:04:45.:04:48.

going to fight hard here. She gets a nice push kick there, the Belgian,

:04:49.:04:52.

scoring under the guard. A 5-point gain. That was Jade Jones, wasn't

:04:53.:04:58.

it, just trying the reverse and getting caught, but the Belgian now

:04:59.:05:03.

two points on the board but Jade going forwards.

:05:04.:05:10.

Raheleh Asemani response, have a little fly look at the scoreboard

:05:11.:05:17.

there, she will need to keep her concentration and focus because the

:05:18.:05:21.

fighter from Flint knows how to find the target. The referee advising

:05:22.:05:25.

them to get on with it, tries the head kick, Jones. This one beginning

:05:26.:05:26.

to develop into a real battle. Jones just blocking and checking,

:05:27.:05:45.

trying to fake keeping as Amani on the back foot, the Belgian trying

:05:46.:05:49.

again with that front leg -- keeping Asemani on the back foot. Difficult

:05:50.:05:53.

to find a way through there. Jade Jones so strong in that cover. Yes,

:05:54.:05:58.

just keeping the distance, isn't she? She doesn't want to take any

:05:59.:06:02.

chances. If she finishes this round 7-2 up, think she will be happy.

:06:03.:06:11.

Goes again with the front leg push kick there, Jade Jones, looks for

:06:12.:06:15.

the head shot, putting the pressure on the Belgian Raheleh Asemani. A

:06:16.:06:20.

good block there from Asemani. She's done well to hang on into this.

:06:21.:06:28.

Paul Green the British coach advising its the last ten seconds.

:06:29.:06:32.

It's been an engrossing second round, a good one for Jade Jones.

:06:33.:06:38.

She tries to go again, just with one last turning kick. Well blocked by

:06:39.:06:41.

the Belgian. The end of the second round. Five points to the good.

:06:42.:06:49.

We'll never find out what those two main things are, but from your own

:06:50.:06:58.

perspective, Neil? As -- Asemani looked reticent. You are going in

:06:59.:07:02.

there for the attack in the case of the counter and that reverse kick

:07:03.:07:08.

there, just Jade Jones doing enough, just wanted to stay ahead, 7-2 now

:07:09.:07:13.

is going to take her into the third and final round. As you say, that

:07:14.:07:19.

back kick almost scoring again. Asemani covering well. Can she

:07:20.:07:22.

recover in this final round? Don't open yourself, you can do it.

:07:23.:07:38.

Right? Don't let her finish off... No analysis needed, you heard that

:07:39.:07:45.

loud and clear. Raheleh Asemani from Belgium faces Jade Jones, the Welsh

:07:46.:07:51.

warrior working hard. There's a 5-point gap on the back foot.

:07:52.:07:56.

Controlling the distance well. Yes, she scores well with that push kick,

:07:57.:07:59.

doesn't she, she really does, gets a lot of points with it.

:08:00.:08:06.

The stress on the one lake to have the balance to go forward but it's

:08:07.:08:13.

turning a bit one-sided here for the Belgian, Raheleh Asemani. Can she

:08:14.:08:18.

provide a big shop here? A change of tactics, perhaps, going backwards

:08:19.:08:24.

and forwards in a straight line. Jones beginning to read her. Jones

:08:25.:08:30.

just wanted to close it up quickly there, didn't want to be caught on

:08:31.:08:31.

the rebound. Just over a minute left in this

:08:32.:08:41.

engrossing quarterfinal. Jade Jones pretty much in second gear here. She

:08:42.:08:46.

doesn't need to work too hard at the moment. Asemani trying to go high.

:08:47.:08:53.

That was taken for holding, if you get two it's a point added to your

:08:54.:08:59.

opponent. Just 55 seconds left in the third round, Jade Jones in a

:09:00.:09:03.

commanding position. She is and Asemani just gripping the legs there

:09:04.:09:06.

to try to stop the lead coming up high. Another point, which will

:09:07.:09:13.

really add to the score that is already up there. Paul Green, the

:09:14.:09:20.

British coach, advising to throw the reverse. Raheleh Asemani going

:09:21.:09:27.

forward, trying to walk in. She has to put the pressure on here, the

:09:28.:09:32.

Belgian, 25 seconds left. The back kick, well blocked by Belgian's

:09:33.:09:37.

Raheleh Asemani, the 27-year-old. She's had a difficult route into the

:09:38.:09:42.

Olympic Games, with the refugee status, but there is no refuge at

:09:43.:09:45.

all for her here because Jade Jones in five fashion, this young fighter

:09:46.:09:52.

from Flint, Olympic champion, tries with the head kick to close the

:09:53.:09:57.

school. She closes the third round and an excellent win. Credit to tip

:09:58.:10:04.

Rafah -- Raheleh Asemani of Belgium. She was in it as a contest. But in

:10:05.:10:10.

the end, you can only have one winner. Jade Jones of Great Britain

:10:11.:10:11.

into the semifinal. CLARE BALDING:

:10:12.:10:23.

Jade Jones' semifinal, we will bring you that live at 9pm and she will

:10:24.:10:28.

fight Nikita Glasnovic, who with Swedish, and has just defeated her

:10:29.:10:33.

finish opponent, Suvi Mikkonen. Some boxing and the light heavyweight

:10:34.:10:37.

bout between Cuba and Kazakhstan has just taken place. This is what

:10:38.:10:38.

happened. COMMENTATOR:

:10:39.:10:47.

We are under way, it's the gold medal bout in the 81 kilograms light

:10:48.:10:51.

heavyweight division between boxers who have faced off three times

:10:52.:10:56.

before, the man in red operating out of the Orthodox stands at present is

:10:57.:11:00.

Julio Cesar La Cruz, the reigning three-time World Championship

:11:01.:11:03.

gold-medallist, the number one ranked boxer in the world and

:11:04.:11:07.

tournament number one seed. His opponent operating out of the

:11:08.:11:11.

southpaw stance wearing blue with Adilbek Niyazymbetov, 27 years of

:11:12.:11:15.

age, the tournament number two seed, ranked number two in the world he

:11:16.:11:19.

comes in as the reigning Olympic silver-medallist and is that two

:11:20.:11:21.

time World Championship silver-medallist and both of those

:11:22.:11:25.

silver medals and World Championships came because he was

:11:26.:11:28.

outpointed by the man in red ink gold medal bouts in that global

:11:29.:11:35.

tournament. What's going to be crucial for the crews here is he can

:11:36.:11:39.

control the pace. We've seen him many times, he slows it down, he

:11:40.:11:43.

always boxes to his style, his tempo, and it's what can Myers at

:11:44.:11:49.

off do differently here because he has to raise his game, my attempt.

:11:50.:11:57.

-- Niyazymbetov. He will be difficult to pin down. You have to

:11:58.:12:00.

raise the tempo, go through the gears and put this fellow, this

:12:01.:12:04.

Cuban, under a bit more pressure. Counter right hand from La Cruz was

:12:05.:12:14.

a beauty, as Niyazymbetov was targeting the body with the southpaw

:12:15.:12:17.

left. A good right hand to the body for the man in red. A mistake here

:12:18.:12:23.

from either boxer is going to be capitalised on instantly, so once

:12:24.:12:25.

again the concentration is absolute of both of them operating behind low

:12:26.:12:31.

health guards. So important the first round, who can get it under

:12:32.:12:36.

their belt, it becomes a classic case of your opponent changing, you

:12:37.:12:39.

are having to change tactics once you've got the first round. If you

:12:40.:12:44.

have won it, it's very important here, Nayar is a bit of is not too

:12:45.:12:49.

bad but La Cruz on the outside, this is what he likes to do. Niyazymbetov

:12:50.:12:55.

has got to be quick with the feet, through the punches in bunches.

:12:56.:13:01.

Getting tangled between the southpaw and Orthodox boxer. The Cruz is

:13:02.:13:07.

forced to take up an unfamiliar position. The canvas, thankfully no

:13:08.:13:19.

injuries sustained. The Cruz is an expert at long range boxing. He can

:13:20.:13:25.

mix it up as well, La Cruz, and occasionally that's where he comes

:13:26.:13:29.

undone because he doesn't keep those hands up at all. But he is

:13:30.:13:35.

comfortable on the ropes, very difficult to land a shot on him.

:13:36.:13:44.

Terrific movement demonstrated by Julio Cesar La Cruz. In the closing

:13:45.:13:51.

20 seconds or so, Adilbek Niyazymbetov was reduced to chasing

:13:52.:14:03.

shadows. It will come down to what the judges prefer but Niyazymbetov

:14:04.:14:08.

coming forward, missing the target, trying to get his punches off but

:14:09.:14:14.

the Cruz hit a move, find the space and time again, working on the back

:14:15.:14:20.

foot, in and out with that right hand, Niyazymbetov again walks onto

:14:21.:14:24.

that shot there. La Cruz appeared to do the better work, but let's have a

:14:25.:14:29.

look at the scores. Across the board, the Cuban gets it. He's in

:14:30.:14:32.

control. So into the second round of a

:14:33.:14:51.

contest between men who have been pretty much the best light

:14:52.:14:55.

heavyweight boxers in the world in Olympic style boxing for the last

:14:56.:14:59.

five years but neither of them have an Olympic gold medal to show for

:15:00.:15:03.

it. The man in red has three World Championship gold medals in what was

:15:04.:15:08.

perhaps the upset of the 2012 boxing tournament Darmon. He was eliminated

:15:09.:15:16.

at the quarterfinal stage by Brazil. The pace suiting three -- La Cruz

:15:17.:15:23.

down to the ground. If you remember Niyazymbetov in his semifinal

:15:24.:15:25.

against Joshua Buatsi demonstrated lovely skills on the back foot,

:15:26.:15:29.

because he is a back foot counterpuncher himself, but here he

:15:30.:15:33.

has to change his tactics and go on the front foot. Can he do it? It's

:15:34.:15:38.

an Olympic final. You've got to be able to do both styles. Niyazymbetov

:15:39.:15:42.

is being forced into a way of boxing that he's not used to, because he

:15:43.:15:44.

normally sits himself. Niyazymbetov was declared a loser on

:15:45.:16:02.

count back several years ago, 15-15 against a Russian and the count back

:16:03.:16:07.

went against him. Nothing in it and he still doesn't have an Olympic

:16:08.:16:11.

gold to show for it. That is his motivation to come out on top in

:16:12.:16:16.

this, his fourth encounter against La Cruz but he has yet to have his

:16:17.:16:19.

hand raised in this particular rivalry. Psychologically coming into

:16:20.:16:26.

the contest, it isn't good for Niyazymbetov. He isn't boxing the

:16:27.:16:32.

way he should here. Not boxing at the right tempo, he is too slow. He

:16:33.:16:37.

must do something different. It is like he is hypnotised by the man,

:16:38.:16:41.

that's what La Cruz does, he slows down the pace, by matter what the

:16:42.:16:46.

opponent, he has the ability to slow it down and box at his tempo. That's

:16:47.:16:51.

why he's a very talented and successful boxer. A good right hand

:16:52.:16:59.

from La Cruz, and a left-hand coming nearly at the same time from

:17:00.:17:02.

Niyazymbetov wasn't far away. Niyazymbetov isn't far away,

:17:03.:17:07.

stalking his man. La Cruz demonstrating that wonderful ability

:17:08.:17:10.

to navigate the ring and avoid the punches coming his way. Almost as if

:17:11.:17:16.

he is blessed with ESP, the manner in which he can see the punches

:17:17.:17:20.

coming, moved back, just his feet and make his man miss by a matter of

:17:21.:17:28.

millimetres sometimes. A good right hand to the body from La Cruz. Who

:17:29.:17:35.

can produce some quality in the closing ten seconds? It is La Cruz

:17:36.:17:40.

who pulls the trigger first and what a counter left-hand. La Cruz at his

:17:41.:17:47.

best in a microcosm, making his man miss and when the punch is still

:17:48.:17:50.

coming back after falling short he finds himself getting a shot on the

:17:51.:17:57.

opponent's chin with a cheeky shot. This fellow is struggling a bit with

:17:58.:18:02.

the distance, range and movement of his opponent. His feet are looking

:18:03.:18:06.

to slow. He's following his opponent rather than cutting off the ring

:18:07.:18:11.

space. You are up against a maestro of a mover in La Cruz. Talented

:18:12.:18:17.

hands, but very low indeed. He was caught with a shot and another one

:18:18.:18:22.

from Niyazymbetov. A bit better. Falling short with that shot.

:18:23.:18:27.

Towards the end of the mount the skills from La Cruz were exceptional

:18:28.:18:33.

but let's look at the scores. Across-the-board, Niyazymbetov must

:18:34.:18:35.

produce a knockout shot against a moving opponent, moving away from

:18:36.:18:45.

him. That's difficult. So, the third and final round. Niyazymbetov, the

:18:46.:18:51.

second ranked boxer in the world, trailing by two points with all

:18:52.:18:56.

three judges in this contest between two of the most skilful operators in

:18:57.:19:02.

the world at 81 kilograms. As in the case in their previous three

:19:03.:19:08.

encounters, it is the man in red who is dictating the terms and the Tom

:19:09.:19:14.

Powell -- tempo on which the bout is being contested and Niyazymbetov

:19:15.:19:19.

can't let any effective leather go and stop the man from moving. Good

:19:20.:19:22.

right hand to the chest from La Cruz. Niyazymbetov needs the punch

:19:23.:19:26.

of a lifetime if he hopes to eliminate the compass meant of

:19:27.:19:32.

Atlanta 1996 and claim light heavyweight gold for Kazakhstan. --

:19:33.:19:39.

the accomplishment. That was Kazakhstan's first medal of any

:19:40.:19:44.

colour, taking the 81 kilograms light heavyweight gold, and also a

:19:45.:19:50.

trophy winner. Niyazymbetov has his name in the box by getting that

:19:51.:19:57.

silver four years ago but he is desperate for Olympic golf. At this

:19:58.:20:02.

tempo it doesn't look like it's going to happen as we approach the

:20:03.:20:08.

midpoint. He needs a knockout now. Skills again from La Cruz. It hasn't

:20:09.:20:14.

been a tempo change from Niyazymbetov, he is still waiting

:20:15.:20:18.

for far too long. He isn't used to boxing on the front foot. Normally

:20:19.:20:25.

he is a counterpuncher himself. Losing the first round meant he had

:20:26.:20:29.

to change something but he hasn't done it, he has kept the same tempo,

:20:30.:20:36.

suiting La Cruz. Let's face it, the Cuban, this has been their bogey

:20:37.:20:39.

division, light heavyweight, none of them have won in the light

:20:40.:20:44.

heavyweight division from Cuba. La Cruz is cruising to victory here and

:20:45.:20:48.

it would be a special victory for him, to be the first Cuban to win

:20:49.:20:52.

gold in this division if he gets through the last 50 seconds. Not

:20:53.:20:57.

just for him but for the entire Caribbean island and more

:20:58.:21:00.

importantly, just as significantly it would complete Cuban success in

:21:01.:21:08.

every weight division. They've won Olympic gold in every other weight

:21:09.:21:12.

class apart from light heavyweight. They haven't had a muddle in this

:21:13.:21:19.

division since 1980. -- a medal. But that drought is coming to an end. In

:21:20.:21:26.

these closing seconds, La Cruz is about to join the ranks of his

:21:27.:21:31.

illustrious compatriots by being crowned as the Olympic champion. Up

:21:32.:21:37.

on his toes. Enjoying his work. Treating us to the ballistic grace

:21:38.:21:43.

that he has used to such great effect to dominate the World

:21:44.:21:45.

Championships for the last five years. And now on the Olympic stage.

:21:46.:21:51.

The man is producing some salsa on the canvas of the boxing ring in

:21:52.:21:55.

acknowledgement of a majestic display that will see him be crowned

:21:56.:22:01.

as the Olympic light heavyweight champion, Cuba's first ever light

:22:02.:22:06.

heavyweight champion. In the Olympic programme. He was once again almost

:22:07.:22:13.

impossible to attack cleanly. Tremendous from La Cruz, you must

:22:14.:22:19.

admiring, two admire him, if you people were booing at the end.

:22:20.:22:23.

Boxing like this requires exceptional reactions and that's

:22:24.:22:26.

what he's got. They must be second to none. La Cruz for me, a wonderful

:22:27.:22:33.

boxer who has had a gym and a performance and AJ Mendes

:22:34.:22:37.

tournament. -- a tremendous performance. -- tremendous

:22:38.:22:40.

tournament. Ladies and gentlemen, the winner by

:22:41.:22:57.

unanimous decision and the Olympic champion... In the red corner...

:22:58.:23:16.

Julio Cesar La Cruz. Julio Cesar La Cruz is the Olympic champion. The

:23:17.:23:23.

golden smile, beaming from ear to ear as the three-time World

:23:24.:23:26.

Championship gold medallist complete is his collection by adding Olympic

:23:27.:23:32.

gold to his illustrious roster. What a fantastic display from Julio Cesar

:23:33.:23:40.

La Cruz. Four contests, barely touched throughout the four

:23:41.:23:45.

completed contests that he fought. Applauding and acknowledging the

:23:46.:23:49.

support he is receiving at Riocentro pavilion six. Warm embrace for

:23:50.:23:53.

Niyazymbetov, getting his third successive Olympic silver. He met

:23:54.:23:59.

his master once again in the form of Julio Cesar La Cruz and for the

:24:00.:24:03.

fourth time in their long-running rivalry, for the third time in

:24:04.:24:07.

global competition, the gold-medal bout, it is Julio Cesar La Cruz who

:24:08.:24:15.

comes out on top. La Cruz is the Olympic champion and he completes

:24:16.:24:18.

Cuba's Olympic gold medal set in men's boxing. They have now claimed

:24:19.:24:23.

gold medals in all 12 weight divisions including those that have

:24:24.:24:29.

been discontinued. I'm confined joy for Julio Cesar La Cruz. Two

:24:30.:24:36.

unconfined. Joining the illustrious roll call of men from the Caribbean

:24:37.:24:41.

island who have been crowned the Olympic champion. That was the 257

:24:42.:24:50.

fight we've seen in this arena so far in the Olympics and probably

:24:51.:24:54.

firstly the best and a staggering performance by the Cuban, wasn't it?

:24:55.:25:02.

I looked at La Cruz's hands, his smile, his footwork and his

:25:03.:25:05.

confidence, all of that wrapped into one, he is a phenomenal man and he's

:25:06.:25:10.

done really well. Because a lot of people watch amateur boxing once

:25:11.:25:14.

every four years and the Games, that made you realise how much footwork

:25:15.:25:16.

is actually the key to everything else. Which I'm learning now. He has

:25:17.:25:21.

been in the guide for a long -- in the game for a long time. A great

:25:22.:25:25.

role model, with the other Olympians. I think he might have

:25:26.:25:30.

learned from these great champions. I'm studying these guys and I'm

:25:31.:25:34.

seeing about the footwork. Not only good hands and power and a good

:25:35.:25:39.

defence, your feet can do you so much justice. Don't carry your hands

:25:40.:25:44.

that low, though! I have been taught to keep them up. You go with the

:25:45.:25:50.

flow. That style can't be taught. They work with what he's got and he

:25:51.:25:55.

is the Olympic champion, so credit to him and his coaches. Talking

:25:56.:26:00.

about Olympic champions, we saw Nicola Adams, she is through to the

:26:01.:26:04.

final on Saturday, what do you think? See is a phenomenal talent,

:26:05.:26:12.

not the same style as La Cruz but when we talk about her style and

:26:13.:26:15.

confidence, and a woman doing it with a lot to fight for, putting

:26:16.:26:19.

women's boxing on the map, I think she will prove herself once again.

:26:20.:26:23.

She has done it once so she can do it again. Good to talk to you.

:26:24.:26:29.

Nicola Adams committee time on Saturday for the gold-medal bout.

:26:30.:26:35.

Thanks, fantastic to have Joshua here. The wind is picking up meaning

:26:36.:26:38.

that at the top of the ten metre platform it must be getting quite

:26:39.:26:43.

strong. We are going to the Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre for live

:26:44.:26:48.

diving. Tonia Couch is in action. Should I be worrying about the wind?

:26:49.:26:54.

I think I should be worried because I'm going to be eating my curls! It

:26:55.:27:01.

is going to be tricky for the divers, isn't it? I'm not sure how

:27:02.:27:05.

much is on the board, we are certainly exposed here but we have

:27:06.:27:09.

seen that it can affect the diving, especially the handstand when they

:27:10.:27:12.

are balanced on their tiptoes. Interesting when we get going. I

:27:13.:27:19.

have so much respect for Tonia Couch, she is the one that boys and

:27:20.:27:23.

girls should look up to. She is fearless, upside down, backwards.

:27:24.:27:28.

Put into context her career, she has been at the top for a long time.

:27:29.:27:34.

Since the World Championships in 2009, every two years she has been

:27:35.:27:37.

in the top ten and she is back in the top ten today. Everyone starts

:27:38.:27:41.

at zero, she has a chance to mix it up with the best. How tough is it

:27:42.:27:46.

going to be for her to get onto the podium? A big ask, we have the

:27:47.:27:52.

Chinese divers who have been streets ahead but everything to play for,

:27:53.:27:56.

will they be affected by the conditions? It is colder and it is

:27:57.:28:01.

windy. It is dicey and dangerous, we were worried about the sun and

:28:02.:28:05.

shadows but it may be the wind that causes problems. Jack said it didn't

:28:06.:28:11.

put him off because he is British. Let's hope that Tonia, even though

:28:12.:28:14.

she is from down south, can say the same! Thanks, we will bring you that

:28:15.:28:23.

diving on BBC One. It is the final of the ten metre platform, Tonia

:28:24.:28:28.

Couch qualified in tenth place. Realistically, top five would be

:28:29.:28:32.

sensational but as we've seen, we've had unexpectedly brilliant

:28:33.:28:34.

performances and later on BBC One I will talk to our latest bronze

:28:35.:28:39.

medallist, Chris Langridge and his Badminton partner. Winning the

:28:40.:28:46.

gold-medal. We saw gold and silver for the Brownlee brothers in

:28:47.:28:52.

triathlon and in the sailing, a silver, so there has been a

:28:53.:28:55.

capsizing incident. And in athletics, this is what you have do

:28:56.:28:59.

look forward to, it is the men's 200 metre final. First, the rerun of the

:29:00.:29:06.

relay because the USA appealed against their disqualification.

:29:07.:29:14.

The same bulb is in the men's 200 metre final at 2:30am. -- Usain

:29:15.:29:20.

Bolt. I'm sure you've seen him winning in his semifinal and turning

:29:21.:29:26.

to an athlete who had the temerity to challenge him, smiling and

:29:27.:29:29.

looking and going, hay, and still winning. Join us on BBC One.

:29:30.:29:32.

:29:33.:29:34.

and busiest city. We're meeting the people who work
