delighted. You have got to feel for Mixu Paatelainen. What has they got

themselves into, and can United get out of it? I think if you are

United, you're planning for next year in the Championship. They have

brought in the Japanese goalkeeper. What do you make of his start? I had

not heard of him before. He came in, I was expecting something big. For a

couple of the goals, he was at fault. The goalkeeper came out, and

Jozo Simunovic scored the header, he came flapping. He was not close. The

second goal, goalkeeper that size should be able to get down and cover

the post. In terms of players tracking back on counterattacks, it

is important for the goalkeeper to talk to the defence. The United

pick-up point, it looks desperate for Dundee United. They have nothing

looks like it is in short supply. I thought you were going to say they

had a big decision over the manager's future? Will he see it

through? I do not know if you will want to go into the Championship. He

came in trying to turn things around, what it has not happened.

Dundee United have got to start planning for the future. Where that

future is going to be, the chairman has got to decide. Staying in the

spotlight, it beggars belief? It was not the cleverest idea. It is not

something we need in Scottish football. We want the focus to be on

supporters who are tuning in at ease, because I am certain this game

David Amoo managed header. That gave Partick Thistle some hope, but that

is really all they have had, hope. Dundee continued to dominate. They

Any change? No change in the scoreline. I do not share the

confidence of the brothers MacLachlan as to whether this game

will see the 90 minutes or not. 25 minutes to go and the snow is lying

thickly, just like Connie McLaughlin's game at Alloa. It is an

artificial surface and it is becoming more slippery. The lines

are less visible. The football has been good despite the conditions.,

want to get he is not going anywhere. Rangers will have to up

the anti until they get to a level that Tommy Wright can see, decent

You tend to lose the plot when things are going badly. Today they

position. If you have a team that can challenge for the Championship,

and you're bringing in the goalkeeper, it will be interesting

to see how that pans out for Aberdeen. It is a strange situation

for Aberdeen, one of the biggest clubs in the country. They do not

seem to have back-up when alone loan keeper goes back to his parent club.

You're trying to strengthen in the areas you need to strengthen most.

Arguably the best goalkeeper in the first half of the season. Danny Ward

was very impressive. Not only do you lose a player, but a very

influential player who was churning out performances every week.

Arguably the best goalie in the Premier League? I'm a big fan of

Craig Gordon, following number of reasons will stop he has come back

from what he did injury wise, he had a cracking season. Still performing

well this season. Looking at it, my vote is still with Craig Gordon.

Aberdeen came back from a goal down against Ross County, after they had

got that bad autumn period out of the system. More like Aberdeen.

areas, Rooney will finish. The white boys are so important. Jonny Hayes

Hibernian fan, I would be hoping they do everything they can to keep

Also five goals in the lunchtime match in the Premier League, top

against Sunderland. Sock them very much back in the groove, responding

well to the midweek as appointment, beaten by Leicester City on Monday

night. Comfortable winners, only after falling behind, five minutes

today, Pantilimon, Vito Mannone, not happy with them. Sunderland had a to

versus one, against Hugo Lloris. Defoe and Adam Johnson, they could

not finish. All about the goalies. I'm glad are seeing that. Would you

make a Spurs this year? They have a chance of Champions League. Not as a

make a Spurs this year? They have a title winning team. It is new to

them. You have to grow into that, they have been getting better and

better. Pochettino is a squad. If he can keep Harry Kane, work with those

players, they will improve. Look at the top teams, strength in depth,

the extra quality. If Spurs came forth, qualify for the Champions

The look towards them is the ultimate title winners? IDE, I think

money talks in this game. For every player they lose an international to

come in. Does not diminish this strength they have. Over a long

season, they will have the strength in depth to the title. I would love

Leicester City to win it. I would love them to win it. Can they love

the pace was -- last the pace? They are surprising everybody, they must

be taking it game by game. You say money talks, but Leicester City have

money because of the TV deal, but about getting a group of players who

can play together, get the best that each other, Ranieri seems to have

done that. Getting players playing 3-4 years below, creating a winning

Fabian Delph that gave City the lead when straight through his hands. It

is five games without a victory or even a goal for Crystal Palace. City

are looking good, 4-0 winners. Yes, they are looking good.

Leicester play Aston Villa later tonight. That is a shoo-in for City?

You would think so. You can see Manchester City, the names on the

scoresheet. Crystal Palace have gone backwards slightly, but Manchester

City, when they start well, they have so many players that can hurt

you. Over the course of the season it is the goals they have in their

team that will make the difference. Arsenal have got to play Stoke City.

Stoke City have shown they can pull off big results. They have. Mark

Hughes has signed some very good players that have made a massive

difference to the way that Stoke City play. Just the imagination and

creativity of the players. Some of the goals they are scoring, Marko

Arnautovic has scored seven or eight this season. Xherdan Shaqiri as

well, he has brought an extra dimension. Seven minutes of time to

Wenger at Arsenal. He deserves a league title for long service. Yes,

When he started, they were so strong, you could not beat them, so

good upfront. He has had to work, and they manage their business well.

They do not spend money if they do not have to. They try to work from

within. Lots of the players come from abroad, but this year, they

have a genuine chance of winning the league. Having not done it for many

years, they could have lost the habit. They keep getting hamstring

injuries. Something strange going on in training? Perhaps. Two of the

players have made a difference, Petr Cech, he has made the goalkeeping

more stable. And Mesut Ozil, he has started to perform. He has been

terrific. Is he the best midfielder down near? He is certainly up there,

but there are many class acts. It is nice to see Arsenal as genuine title

contenders. Who are you going for the title? Can I sit on the fence?

Man City have done it before. I would love Leicester to be able to

do it. Big fellow? City. Simple as that. Because of the strength of

their squad? Other teams, you lose two of your best players and it has

their squad? Other teams, you lose a massive effect on the team. That

does not happen to the top sides. Chelsea and Manchester United are

not in the mix, I think that City are a class act. I will ask you who

is going to win the Scottish Premiership later. Right now, it is

the classified round-up. The Dundee United-Celtic match was

played last night. Kilmarnock and Inverness are still playing at Rugby

Park. Lots of postponements around the

country. Just one match beating the weather.

Let's have a look at the league tables. This one is not fully

updated because, neck and Inverness are still playing.

Dundee United will be 14 points bank, narrative, on a the victory.

Hotspur sitting pretty in fourth. Manchester United play Liverpool

tomorrow. This is the bottom of the table. Sunderland lost 4-1 to

Tottenham Hotspur to do. -- today. This is the top of the Championship.

Bolton are rooted to the foot of the table, three points bank Charlton.

Bristol City are the other team in the bottom three. We're going to

head to Rugby Park. Alistair Lamb and has his late, late version of

events that culminated against Inverness.

Kilmarnock saw out the 90 minutes. It is only their second victory in

11 league games. It moves them 14 points clear of bottom side Dundee

United. They adapted better to the conditions. Happily for the home

side, the match was allowed to finish. Craig Slater's stunning

volley secured the victory. Ross Draper cancelled out Greg Kiltie's

early opening goal. Kilmarnock deserved their victory. Gary Locke

will not be making any public admissions, but they look safe from

relegation. It has finished 2-1. Is he correct, our Kilmarnock save from

automatic relegation? Until it is mathematically impossible, they are

not safe. It is interesting reading at the bottom of the table, Partick,

Hamilton and Kilmarnock altogether at the bottom. It is tight. Partick

Thistle had been on a fantastic run, and one bad result and they are back

in it. You're in a dogfight, you are in the play-off position. Three

teams on 24 points. They are only five points away from the top six.

You win a couple of games, you're talking about chasing the European

teams, you lose a couple, you're in the play-off position. Massive

results today for Kilmarnock and Dundee United, the big losers, 14

points adrift at the bottom of the table. 14 games to go, is it mission

impossible? It is not Mission impossible, because it is still

possible. The problem is you cannot put confidence into a team

automatically. It takes time, something to happen, sparking the

team. They need to find something that will change everything. They

have to believe. What a victory for Hearts. 6-0. I thought that would be

tight but they blew Motherwell away. The recent form of both teams

suggested 1-1, I tied victory. 6-0 with two madrigals chalked off for

offside. It was not something we were expecting. Where Motherwell

outmuscled? Are Hearts athletic? I do not think you can say they are

overly robust. They are big and athletic. You saw them dominating

the play, getting balls into the box and taking their chances. Tynecastle

is a fortress. Only Falkirk 1-dayer in the Championship last year. Only

Aberdeen have winning the Premiership and we are halfway

through the season. Hearts are genuine contenders for second place.

I do not think they can catch Celtic, but they must think they can

challenge Aberdeen for the second spot.
