good afternoon and welcome to the Results Show once again. Scottish

Cup semifinals weekend no less, one down and want to go, so expect

action and reaction, Hibs at Hampden earlier today, and it is worth

watching for that alone. Aberdeen won, 3-2 the final score, reaching

their first final in the competition since 2000, and they will face the

winners of tomorrow's semi between Celtic and Rangers. We also have

reporters at today's four championship matches, plenty to play

for in terms of emotion and relegation, so let's head to the

game is hurtling towards conclusion in the championship. Let's check in

at Tannadice, Dundee United against St Mirren. It is 2-1, the home side

in front against the run of play after just seven minutes. Mikkelsen

going in with a high bid, but the referee allowed play to go on, and

Mikkelsen hammered the ball into the roof of the net. Gary MacKenzie

equalised before the break with an impressive header from Stevie

Mallan's free kick. The ball was slipped to Tony Andre who slotted it

home at 66 minutes. That rule wasn't enforced when you were playing, was

it, the goalkeeping? You could pick it up and kick it down the other end

of the pitch! And Tony Andreu scoring. That is a big result that

puts St Mirren down, second bottom? Depending on how other matches pan

out. It would also possibly put United up to second depending on

other results. I think they are trying to get some momentum going

into the play-offs, they have been a bit up and down in recent weeks. You

never know what result they will have. They are trying to find a

little bit of form at the right time. United could go second if they

win and Falkirk don't, so let's had their next, and speak to Jim Spence.

Falkirk are winning, 2-1. Clark put Dunfermline ahead after 35 and it

is, but it has been a crazy second-half, Muirhead put Falkirk

level from the spot on 53 minutes after the keeper had come out on a

polite Hippolyte, and then Morris was sent off. We have a real game on

our hands here. Falkirk going well here today, and they are just

unstoppable, indomitable in that division, they always seem to be up

there. I think he has a good balance, Hippolyte at Austin, he has

taken a chance on them, brought them in. I was reading in the paper where

he was saying that the fans were giving the players... I can't

believe that. He has raised the expectation over the last few

seasons, is that it? He is a terrific manager, and it is about

getting the balance of experience and youth, and Falkirk do it

extremely well, but for them to get criticism, can't believe it. Let's

find out how Morton are faring, they are home to bottom club air -- Ayr.

They are trying to get their play-off place this afternoon, and

as results stand, they will do that and make sure they get that play-off

and a lot more fixtures towards the end of the season and the chance of

promotion. S two are trying to get off bottom spot, and this result

won't help them. It has been an insipid game, but we did get two

goals in the first half, the first from Morton, Gary Oliver with the

cross in, it took a little deflection and landed nicely for

Shankland. It is his third goal since joining on loan from Aberdeen

in the January window. The equaliser came for Ayr with Craig Moore, a

brilliant finish into the far corner, rising all the way from a

nice pass to the edge of the box I Michael Rose. 1-1 as things stand,

but let's see if there is another goal when it. And let's see how

Dumbarton are faring away to Queen of the South, they are fairly safe

in mid-table. An interesting afternoon in the championship today,

and it is Dumbarton with a precious lead here, they lead 2-1. They were

under pressure from the start, Queen of the South played good football

for 20 minutes, and then 14 minutes into the game, Stephen Dobbie does

what he does and managed to find his way through the players and into the

bottom corner to give Queens a 1-0 lead. But that seemed to spur

Dumbarton on, and five minutes later they put themselves back level, John

Rankin giving away a free kick at the edge of the box, and Sam Stanton

with a left foot curler into the top corner past Robinson to make it 1-1.

And then Queens under pressure at that point, but it was Conor Murray

who hit the base of the post with ten minutes before the break but ten

minutes -- three minutes after that, Sam Stanton caused Jo Thomson to

clear the ball, he didn't clear it properly, and Robert Thomson was at

the back post to head the ball into the back post to give them a 2-1

lead. They have been under pressure in the second half but are standing

up to the challenge, and have a pressure to one lead.

Sandra hit the nail on the head when she said it was a precious 2-1 lead,

they will be five points clear of Ayr United, pretty much safe from

the automatic relegation spot. And what an achievement that would be.

If you look at who was at the bottom at the start of the day, Ayr United,

Dumbarton, it is so tough, and there is a lot of quality, and I think

Aiken has done a quality job. We were discussing it earlier, because

sometimes a different voice in the dressing room. Experience, and the

players look up to him also, part-time players will look up to

somebody like that coming in. But it is interesting the way the whole

thing has gone, two days after the Raith Rovers game, they also play St

Mirren and Ayr United, so that is an interesting battle down there, and

it will go down to the last game, I would assume. Plenty more drama in a

championship this afternoon, but we return to the big story of the day

so far, time to find out how Aberdeen reached the final of this

year's William Hill spotters cup, here is the whole story described by

Stephen Thomson and Liam McLeod. The first of the finalists will be

named this afternoon. Two heavyweights going head-to-head,

Adam Rooney goes in on the opening minute and that is an unbelievable

start for the Dons! Aberdeen court, another mistake, the defence all

over the place, and what a composed finish so early in the match from

Adam Rooney. Christie sizing it up, he delivers and it is into the net!

It is 2-0! Ryan Christie scores from the free kick. That has to go down

as a goalkeeping mistake, the goalkeeper gambles thinking it is

going into the middle of the box. Christine knew exactly what he was

doing. It is Jonny Hayes. Hibs are living a

very charmed life at the moment. One more goal, and Aberdeen are through,

you would have to say. This is a good run by Boyle, and

that is a great ball for Holt, who makes an instant impact, and Hibs

are right back in this semifinal! Brilliantly done by the men in green

and white. This is what it is all about, magnificent play from Boyle,

showing his pace and what a bore into a dangerous area. What an

impact from Grant Holt. Aberdeen trying to shut up shop, but

it is 2-2! They do not want to let go of this trophy. A brilliant

combination on the edge of the and a wonderful finish from McGee och.

It is ambitious, but it is deflected into the net! Aberdeen have the lead

with six to play. That is as cool as it gets. Tony Hayes hit is more in

hope than expectation. Certainly the Scottish football Association here

are giving the golden Jonny Hayes. As Martin Boyle chases, in ghost

Taylor. He did just enough, didn't he? Just enough. Fantastic defending

from Taylor to put mark boil off. Hibs are heading out of the cup

unless they can score from this corner. Marciano wins it, but Lewis

holds on. That was a very decent header from the goalkeeper, and a

fine save from Lewis. We will hear from Pat and Derek and their

opinions are little later, but let's hear what both managers had to say

after today's game, they spoke to Chris Mitchell clone. Fantastic

start. 13 seconds, and Adam calmly puts the ball away. There was a

little wobble, anxiety, as you would do, and I thought we were good value

in that opening half an hour. I think at 2-0 it was a fair

reflection of the game. We were sharp and all over Hibs, they never

got any real flow into the game. Not good enough from us, the first 30

minutes was unacceptable, it was nothing to do with tactics or

formation, it was decision-making and individual errors. We needed the

36-year-old to come on and get his play in, and we did, and scored two

fabulous goals and were in the ascendancy. We didn't deserve to

lose the game, but you can't give a team like Aberdeen a 2-0 head start.

They made it a proper game, and it was end-to-end at times. We were not

sure where it was going to go but thankfully it went our way, and we

are decided to get through to the final. Delighted for the supporters,

our last memory here at Hampden was a sobering one, and we felt we had a

lot of making up to do after that final. Today's performance and the

way the players have reacted since the turn of the year suggests that

we are good side, and already helpful for this final when it comes

around. We go away with loads of regret, we are as good as Aberdeen

if not better, so it will be a long couple of weeks because the

championships are over and we can enjoy the celebration, but I felt

that we were good to get final and eat Aberdeen. Plenty to talk about.

The game itself and the managers' reactions. Neil Lennon said his team

didn't deserve to lose, do you agree with that? I'm not so sure. He was

quite right to have a go at his team in the first half an hour, that was

unacceptable the way they started the game. They seemed to not have

the focus and intensity in their game, and they paid the ultimate

price, conceding two goals. The first one in 12 seconds! I have been

raving about John McGinn all season, and I can't fathom at why he tries

to take on three or four Aberdeen players. You don't need to take a

little touch of the centre, you can knock it back to any of the

defenders, even back to the goalkeeper, give yourself distance.

It is very unlike John McGinn, because of his decision-making is

normally spot on, but there is time to recover, but they make another

mistake. McGregor is defensively sound, as a ballplaying centre-half,

no, so just clear your lines. I thought it was a fantastic finish.

Aberdeen came flying out of the traps. They did. I did not think

they played fantastic football but they worked really hard. Hibs

invited Aberdeen onto them. The two centre halves were almost ten yards

from each other. I am talking about Hibs now. They were trying to pass

the ball. I don't know why. Aberdeen were right on them like a flash. If

you are pressing within an area of about 20 yards, you will do it all

day. They should have opened up and created more space for themselves. I

think they tried to be too clever. It is not about that, you start that

game... Get the ball forward, squeeze it up. It is about the first

5-10 minutes. They didn't start properly and they paid the price.

They were a couple of goals down after that Ryan Christie free kick.

Was it the wall to blame or a stroke of genius? I will stand up for the

goalkeeper but I still have two call it as I see it. I would be setting

the wall up to protect that near post. That allows me to take the

extra yard. I would normally not do that in open play. I think when the

player breaks, it almost puts the player off. He takes an extra yard

and that is what created the opportunity. Ryan Christie said

somewhere that... I don't believe that for a second. He knew right

away he was going to put it front post. You will stick up for the

goalkeeper but I don't think from that distance at that angle A

goalkeeper should be beaten there. We will come back to this and talk

about it at length but we have to break off and head to Tannadice.

There is some drama. A crucial goal this could be. An equaliser for St

Mirren. The ball came back and a left foot shot high into the roof of

the net. Four minutes left to play. It is now all square. What a crucial

goal that could be in a couple of weeks' time. A crucial goal right

now. We will talk about that later. We will go back to Aberdeen against

Hibs. If you were in an open play situation and somebody tried hitting

a shot like that at you, you don't get beat but with a free kick, you

use the wall. I am not sure... They are anticipating the ball going to

the Aberdeen player at the edge of the box. You stand your ground and

wait for the ball to be played. I still think the goalkeeper should

have enough about him to recover. At that stage, it looked as though all

was lost for Hibs. Neil Lennon took off a midfielder and brought on a

veteran striker. They were getting overrun in the middle of the park. I

think it was unacceptable. They had to make a change. He had to make the

change. It was the correct decision. I don't see... You have got to

accept it. Grant Holt was on the touchline. I think he was

disappointed to get taken off so early in the game. But Grant Holt

was able to roam down the sides and it created an opportunity for Hibs

to play further forward up the pitch. And what a good goal to get

them back into the game. I think it was boiled taking on players.

Suddenly they were finding players on the ball further up the pitch and

then they could go on... You have got to get your good players in the

right areas. Boyle is one of those. That was a brilliant cross. The

goalkeeper had no chance. I know Willie Miller was saying the

defender should have done better but it was brilliant. I think the

difference was when they made the change, Hibs went a little bit more

direct. We thought they were just going to pass. Aberdeen new that and

they jumped on them. Grant Holt scored one and played a big part in

the second as well. It was anybody's game from that point. It took a

little bit of good luck from the Aberdeen point of view and terrible

luck for Hibs for the winner. Hold that thought. Do we have a goal? We

do. Less than 90 seconds left to play and Dundee United are back in

front. Spittal drilling the ball into the back of the night. I cannot

see St Mirren fighting back for a third time this afternoon. Ending on

a rhetorical question. I will not answer that one. It was a wicked

deflection. It is a sore one but it was a toss of a coin. Who is going

to go on and win the game. I just think Neil Lennon was absolutely

correct in stating his players because you cannot afford to go up

against a like Aberdeen and start in that manner in the first half an

hour. It was either going to be a little bit of luck or a magnificent

goal from 30 yards. Aberdeen will be delighted. They did not play

brilliantly. They got three goals and they are in the final again. And

that is what matters. When it comes to semifinals, it is not matter how

you play, getting to the final is all that matters. We are now

returning to East End Park. Jim Spence is about to tell as it is

full-time. It is indeed. It was a wild second half. A huge three

points for Falkirk. They trailed at half-time. The second half was

torrid. Muirhead scored from the penalty spot after the keeper was

judged to have pulled the striker down. On the 68 minutes, Falkirk

went ahead. Nathan Austin headed in a cross. The referee 's performance

incensed the home crowd. He is being booed off the pitch. Falkirk are in

pole position as the play-offs head to a really interesting conclusion.

Yes, chaps. Falkirk will be in pole position with the last two rounds of

fixtures in the championship. A vital win. They are in the box seat.

Yes, fair play. It is a time of the season when results matter and you

want to finish as high up as possible because I think last year,

David, they just ran out of legs. That will be a trend as experience

for them. Yes, Peter Huston will know that and he will say, we need

to finish second. We paid the price last year. Let's get the job done.

You mentioned earlier, momentum. If you have the momentum in the last

couple of games, take it into the play-offs, you have a real chance.

The experience of last year will put them in a fantastic situation.

Another full-time in the championship. Thanks, David. It was

all square. Mission accomplished. Morton sealing a play-off space as

long as nothing unusual happens down at Queen of the South and with

Dunfermline losing as well, it means that Morton in fourth place are nine

points clear of Dunfermline in fifth with only nine points left to play

for. Shanklin on loan from Aberdeen scored for Greenock Morton in the

35th minute. It was a finish from six yards. The cross was deflected

and it fell kindly for him. It looked like they were told that lead

into half-time but at the end of the first half, it was a brilliant

strike by on loan Motherwell striker, Craig Moore, from the edge

of the box. Into the far top left-hand corner. That made it all

square at half-time. In the second half, it never really got going

until the last five minutes or so before full-time. Devon had a good

chance for Ayr United. A scramble ensued. But it was Morton who

succeeded in clearing it. It finishes all square. Ayr United will

be happy that St Mirren have lost. But they will not be happy to see

Dunbarton looking like they will take the full three points. Another

full-time, Queen of the South versus Dumbarton. Yes, a valuable win for

Dumbarton. They came from behind to pick up a deserved three points.

They have been up against it but they took their chances and they

defended well. They fell behind after 14 minutes. Dobbie giving them

the lead. Conor Murray almost restored the lead before the break

but his effort came back off the base of the post. Three minutes

later, Dumbarton moves ahead. Robert Thompson heading home. Into the

second half and Queen of the South had the better chances but Dumbarton

cut out any danger and it is who them will leave here with the

all-important win. They may well have secured their place in the

championship for next season. Let's head back to Tannadice. Dundee

United the winners in front of a crowd of over 6000. They certainly

received their money 's worth this afternoon. This game had just about

everything. Controversial decisions, great goals and some real bad

decisions from the referee. Dundee United in front after seven minutes.

Mickelson with the goal. He appeared to go in very hard on Gary McKenzie.

Gary McKenzie equalised just before half-time. Dundee United back in

front after 66 minutes. St Mirren equalised with just four

minutes left. Josh Todd with a left foot shot that rifle tie into the

roof of the net but Dundee United were not to be denied and Spittal

drilled the ball low beyond the goalkeeper and into the back of the

net. What a game this has been. St Mirren now second bottom of the

table. Dundee United still looking for that second top place in the

play-offs. Sounds an absolute cracker with implications at both

ends of the table. St Mirren have been on an incredible run. We talked

about bad word momentum. Just at the vital time, confidence also comes

into it. All of those things. It will be a fight between Ayr United

and St Mirren now. For bottom spot. Dumbarton, that was a great result

for them and it gets them a little away from it. Raith Rovers are the

team that has to play these teams. I think that is Spittal 's first goal

this season. An important one. The interesting thing is Hibs. They were

going to celebration mode and they have big games to play. I don't

think Neil Lennon will allow that. It is very hard. If they had a cup

final to play for, it is just a natural occurrence. Some of those

players also know next year they will not be there. They will be

moving on. And they have got big games to play against some of these

teams right down at the bottom. He has to be fair to all these teams.

He has to play players that are hungry that have a point to prove.

Hibs will play a huge part in who will be staying up and who will get

in the play-offs. That takes us nicely to the classified results

round-up. We start with the William Hill

Scottish Cup. The other tie is tomorrow when

Celtic play Rangers. Port Vale against Bolton Wanderers

is a latest score. Let's have a look at the tables,

starting with the championship. Hibs are confirmed champions, that

will cheer them up after today's defeat by Aberdeen in the cup.

The pressure is still on in the race for second, Morton confirmed in the

play-off spots, they are in fourth. And it is getting interesting at the

bottom, just two points between Ayr United and St Mirren.

No game today for a Raith Rovers, they play Hibs in midweek.

Alloa Athletic confirmed in the play-off spots, but still lots to

play for, third, fourth, fifth and sixth all level on points.

Stenhousemuir would have been relegated if they had lost, to

Peterhead, but they didn't so they are now two points behind them. And

the title still up for grabs in League 2, between Forfar and

Arbroath. At the bottom, Cowdenbeath three points behind Berwick Rangers.

And the top of the English Premier League:

The highest ranking teams in action so far this weekend Everton, they

had a goalless draw against West Ham and so failed to draw level with

Manchester United. None of the big guns were in play. And at the bottom

three, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Swansea City other teams in

relegation hot water at the moment. And the championship:

Brighton already guaranteed promotion, Newcastle not in action

until Monday. Rotherham United are already

relegated, they won today but it didn't make much difference.

Let's head back to the English Premier League and find out what

happened when born Smith met struggling Middlesbrough this

afternoon. -- Bournemouth. COMMENTATOR: They are now nine

points adrift of safety, it could all be over prematurely for Steve

Agnew's side, they were outfoxed by aid battering Bournemouth side.

Gaston Ramirez got sent off for two yellow cards inside the first 20

minutes, the second a needless challenge on Marc Pugh who are

undoubtedly was Bournemouth's star player, magnificent on his 200th

appearance for the Cherries. Charlie Daniels added the fourth late on.

Bournemouth needed the win with Hull and Swansea looking set for victory

this afternoon. The Middlesbrough there may be no way back. Let's find

out what happened between Hull City and Watford.

COMMENTATOR: Hull won 2-0, they recovered from the controversial

early red card of Niasse. He went for an innocuous looking tackle, and

Hull soaked up the pressure before breaking away to open the scoring.

Sam Clucas doubled the lead, brilliant left foot volley, and

despite results elsewhere, Hull stay out of the bottom three. And now to

Wales, and the Liberty Stadium, where Swansea City were at home to

Stoke City this afternoon. Swansea have beaten Stoke 2-0, a vital win

from Swansea's point of view. They remain in the same position as they

were before kick-off, and they deserve better for their record.

Llorente swung it their way, and there was a penalty after Shakira

Baker was brought down in the area. Swansea as it stands through the

relegation zone, but it will do good for their confidence.

And the relegation battle in that division really hotting up, but

Bournemouth have done themselves a power of good today, a 4-0 win over

Middlesbrough takes them up to 12 in the table, and they are looking

safe. They are safe, they are fantastic little club, they have

done so well. We were in the same division as them when I was with

Reading, and where they have come to know is quite incredible. I think it

is somewhere you go on your holidays! The manager is doing

fantastically. It is the brand of football they play. Not much of a

holiday for Middlesbrough today! Second bottom is looking grim, seven

behind Swansea. The north-east isn't faring too well at the moment,

because Sunderland and Middlesbrough looked doomed. The only sweetener

would be if Newcastle get themselves back up. It is interesting with

Sunderland's running, they have to play all the some teams, and the

last two at Chelsea and Arsenal. And then it is one spot up for grabs if

Middlesbrough have gone. Hull City, a good win for them today, but they

are not out of the woods because Swansea got a good result as well.

Yes, their manager has been all over the place with Bayern Munich and

Madrid, back again into the pressure zone, but he will have to call on

all his experience to try to get this team galvanised to get them up,

but that was a great result. Hull are out on the coast on their own,

you want to see them maybe try to stay up also. Let's head up the

table and little and find out what happened between West Ham and

Everton. COMMENTATOR: No goals, but a point

apiece. Slaven Bilic's players did him proud, and with better accuracy

they could have won through Lanzini and Fernandez. They look like they

were only thinking of the beach in Greece, just the one shot and that

not until the 70th minute, Lukaku marginalised by a lack of service,

not a game to remember. We will skip over that and go

straight to look at the FA Cup semifinals, a couple of absolute

crackers, the first of which is tonight. You can watch it on the BBC

but not until after you have watched the end of this show! Chelsea,

league leaders, against Tottenham. I think Tottenham need the result

here. They need to put out into Chelsea's minds. I know it is the

cup, but Tottenham have a tough run in, Chelsea have the better run in,

but they have struggled in the last couple of games, and that little

doubt just causes someone to happen, and if Tottenham could get one over

them today, that would be a big momentum for them. Most certainly,

they were outplayed against Manchester United, not just on the

park but maybe you could see the two managers, Antonio Conte took the

blame, and sometimes in this day and age, you don't see managers of that

ilk coming out and taking the blame, so I think he will get it spot on.

The disappointment from Tottenham's perspective over the last couple of

years, they were in great positions, but they blew it, and is that

mentality thing, can they get over that barrier this year? They had a

real chance, but there was something, five International

English players in the team, and I think there is something up here. On

the BBC Weather Centre, it said the last player to score a goal for them

in the semifinals was Paul Gascoigne.

The other match is a cracker as well, Manchester City against

Arsenal. Does Arsene Wenger need to win this one? He has to. If not, it

is season over. They are calling it a Wexit if he doesn't! If not, I

think they should be looking to move on, if they don't win. They have to

win trophies, and the league is something they would want to win,

but they have to put a trophy in the Cabinet and if they do do it, he

will be under severe pressure. I don't know whether he has made up

his mind yet, that story about whether he will stay. It hasn't come

out yet. I'm sure an FA Cup win will persuade him. Bid could go both

ways. We will stay talking about semifinals, but it is time for you

to kick your old brains into gear as we focus on tomorrow's Scottish Cup

semifinal, Celtic versus Rangers at Hampden for a place in the final

against Aberdeen. It is an Old Firm debut for Pedro Caixinha. The

Portuguese says he is not thinking about it as his first experience of

the Derby, but rather is preparing his team to play one of the

strongest opponents they can. The two are not mutually exclusive. Arm

wrestle! Caixinha watched the last Old Firm match from the stand, would

that have given him a taste? A different ball game tomorrow. It is

a huge ask tomorrow. I think he has done his homework, not just in the

game tomorrow but in Scottish football, it has been well

documented but he is going to find out what it is a like. He is really

up against it, has he got the players that can hurt Celtic? He has

got to come up with that ticks, going to have to find a way to hurt

them, and that will be difficult because they are on this

unbelievable run, unbeaten. I think they will take confidence they got

the result, that 1-1 draw. And I think the pitch will suit Celtic

because they well enjoy playing on that pitch. Will they press high up

the pitch? I doubt it. So if they don't, that allows Celtic lots of

possession. If they go toe to toe with Celtic tomorrow, they will come

off second best, so they have to find another way, and the last Old

Firm game, there was another side to Rangers. On the one button, they

were pleasing to the eye. -- under Mark Warburton they were pleasing to

the eye. Is that it, the attitude and determination? And Brendan

Rodgers said that Rangers under Caixinha a little more direct, they

will go behind, they were so predictable under Mark Warburton,

but I think with Caixinha, you know, I think they will take heart from

the game at Aberdeen. At times they were under pressure and didn't have

a lot from the ball, but they hung on and got the three goals in the

last 12 minutes. And what was Brendan Rodgers saying about Pedro?

Let's hear from him, and Old Firm veteran compared to his Rangers

counterpart. He says Caixinha's Rangers are different.

He has made a good start, some good results, but yes, just looking and

studying how they have been playing and working, a little bit more

direct in their game. Like I say, there is no right or wrong way. You

set up your team to get a result. Yes, these games, no matter what the

form is like, no matter how you arrive into the game, they are

always tough games and the last game at Hampden Park between the two

teams, we played very, very well and came through. If we can play as well

and get the result, we will be happy. He nearly said the form book

goes out of the window. Is that always the case? We have been

through it many times and sometimes you are playing really well and you

coming to an Old Firm game and it does not happen for you. There is

that unpredictability about this game but I just think you look at

Celtic now and you look at them and it is very hard to look past them

and say they will struggle in the game. There are periods in the game

when they might struggle but they always have something. They have

quality players. Depending on who they play, Roberts has the ability.

Dembele will be looking forward. He is a big-time player. It depends on

that. Similar to the last meeting of the two teams in the league at

Celtic Park when everybody said Celtic would be too strong and here

is what happened on that occasion. Yes, certainly middle to front,

Celtic are superior but I think Celtic can be got at at the back, in

my opinion. But as we are seeing watching this, I think at times,

that defence at Celtic lose a little bit of focus and discipline. Can

Rangers capitalise on that? That is the big question. He has been

shifting them around. He has gone with three at the back, and with

four at the back. I think you should go with Boyata and play with a

three. I think they have the pace and the height to defend OK.

Caixinha says every team has a weakness. Yes, and that is what you

look for. I certainly think that Brendan Rodgers will look at Rangers

defence and he will target them. But vice versa, what I would say, I

would look at maybe Boyata. And I think in my opinion at times they do

switch off, they lack defensively. That is just what I think. Caixinha

may see something in that but the question is, can Rangers get the

ball in those areas? Because I think Celtic will dominate. And Rangers

will set off a little bit. If I was playing against Scott Brown... I

would be seeing how he reacts. You don't want to see him do what he did

last week. That was outrageous. Let's have a look at what happened

roughly this time last year when the teams met in the same competition.

You have to categorise this as an upset. Maybe a wake-up call for

Celtic if they have a look at this. Of course it can happen. It is an

Old Firm game. Players have got to handle the pressure. When you are in

that dressing room leading into a cup semifinal and you are not at

home, a neutral ground for both teams, you have to handle all of

those things. And yes, Rangers will be looking back on more of these

things and thinking, it went to penalties and they came out on top

but it is a different Celtic team now. They had moved onto different

level. There is a lot of emotion that goes into this game. It is the

players that can handle that, the energy that is there within the

ground tomorrow. It'll unbelievable. You have to view that in the right

way and channel that and keep the emotions in check. That is what we

are saying with Scott Brown. Sometimes he does lose it a little

bit. You have got all of those things within the group of players

but you have to have focus and composure. You have to play with the

head and not the heart at times and good players do that. This fellow

plays with the head and the heart, Kenny Miller, he has been there for

a long time. The most experienced Old Firm player on the pitch. He is

in excellent form. Technically, that is absolutely first class. He leads

by example. At the ripe old age of 37, fit as a fiddle but he has that

composter. Give him one chance and he will take it. If Rangers have any

chance, they have to take the chances. And he can do that. That is

for sure. We have seen it when he was at Celtic and Rangers. And he is

an angry man at times. If players on that part cannot producing the

goods, he lets them know and you need leaders and sometimes you need

that as well as a little composure. He may well be Rangers' main goal

threat but this chap is one of Celtic 's main threats. He likes to

score against Rangers. Yes, he is a young kid but he came on, he was out

injured for a couple of games, they missed him and he did... As soon as

he came on, you could see the difference in the way that Celtic

play. He is physically strong and he can score goals. When I saw him at

the start of the year, I was just... A few questions but the way he has

matured and developed as a player, he leads the line and he is hungry

for goals. He can come short and he can run the channel. He is an

all-round player. That is the beauty of Dembele. He is getting better. He

is a powerhouse. Talking about the weaknesses of Celtic, there are

their strengths right there. Right, guys. Do you want to arm wrestle?

Give me a prediction. I will go with my heart and I think Rangers will

need to play at their absolute maximum. And they will need a large

slice of luck that they may just do it. They are really up against it. I

am confident that Celtic will do it. The trouble is such a big prize and

they are two steps away from it. There is live coverage of the

semifinal against Celtic -- between Celtic and Rangers tomorrow. It is

ourselves what happened in the other semifinal, the game at Hamden Park

today. Aberdeen beating Hibs and an absolute belter of a match. Action

from start to finish. Hibs had no plan at the start of the game and I

thought the referee did well to let the play goal. A brilliant finish

but Hibs got themselves in all sorts of problems. I cannot see... The

goalkeeper should get across. But let's not take it away from

Christie, a fantastic finish. But credit to Aberdeen. They jumped on

Hibs. That was a fantastic cross. The amount of space and time that

they had to run with the ball here. Brilliant play from Grant Holt.

Lovely centre forward play. A wonderful lay-off. They will be

disappointed with this in midfield. But that is a hard one. It is a huge

slice of luck but he makes that luck. The players are closing him

down. If you don't try your luck, you don't score. I don't think

McGregor even tries to block it. The spin just takes it inside that post.

We can now hear from some of the players after the match. When he

stepped up to take that free kick, were you always going for the near

post? I wasn't until Adam Rooney came in and had a word in my year.

that but coming into this game, I was just concentrating on helping

Aberdeen get to the final. We will see who we face tomorrow. Like I

said, delighted I have managed to help Aberdeen Ritchie file.

Gentleman, put yourselves in Ryan Christie 's shoes. If Celtic get

there, he will be cup tied and he will not be able to play for them.

It is his parent club. Who will he be rooting for? That is a good

question. I think he will be rooting for Celtic because he is in that

dressing room. That is his club. Whether he will find a place in that

Celtic team in the future, he may have to move on. I don't think he

will be a first-team regular. He should look after himself and hope

that Rangers win tomorrow? That may well be. They let themselves down a

little bit in the League Cup final. They were shocking against Celtic

and they did not deserve to be anywhere near it. I think that is

what will be on the back of their minds. They will want to be up for

that. They will have to perform on the day. That is the question

against Aberdeen, can they produce it on the big day? They nearly blew

it today. They had a huge slice of luck. They won't want to be

runners-up once again. As a player, you want to win medals. But it is a

huge ask. Gents, I am afraid that is it for today. Time for a quick dash

win for Dundee United. Falkirk are in second. A huge win for Dumbarton.
