drawer. The shot is an absolute beauty. Oh, yes!

What a finish. Right here, right now, this is history.

Aberdeen/ Rangers, that is pretty intense. It is a magnificent goal

for Rangers. Certainly an Aberdeen/ Rangers game, everybody gets carried

away. A very hostile place to go, it is a massive game. You knew what it

meant to the fans, you just wanted to win. A full-blooded that'll.

Battle. Good evening and welcome

to Sportscene. The Aberdeen/Rangers rivalry

returned to Scottish Michael and Steven will give

us their thoughts on that and the rest of the weekend's

action later on. One of the biggest fixtures

of the season, the build-up had been Peter Pawlett and Mark Reynolds

return to the starting line-up for an Madine as James Maddison

surprisingly dropped to the bench. Midweek hero Rooney starts, he is

fit. Snicko Kranjcar is a sub today, and so is Kenny Miller. Captain Lee

Wallace also returns after being rested in mid-weight as Rangers play

at Pittodrie for the first time since 2011.

Warokorn, 28 goals last season, not bad considering he missed three

months. Here is Tavernier, a good all in, and it has gone behind for

another corner. Joe Garner was up for it. That was the best ball of

the game from James Tavernier. This is Ghana. -- Garner. It might

just have been creeping in, you know.

Logan is going to get onto that, it wasn't a great Hall. Kenny McLean

steadies himself. Brilliant effort from McLean! Derek McInnes has made

a big decision at half-time, to bring an James Maddison, on loan

from Norwich City. Aberdeen have only bettered their current nine

points after six games five times in the last 25 years, twice under

McInnes, and including last season's record-breaking start. The men in

red shoot towards the beach in the second half. They have only failed

to score in one of their last 24 away matches, 81-0 defeat to

Livingston after they had won the last season. Johnny Hayes gets

himself in on goal early on. Big goal! Huge goal from Johnny Hayes.

20 seconds into the second half, it is Aberdeen who go in front.

Pittodrie erupts. And it is Aberdeen's little magician, the

number 11, the flick on from Rooney was perfection, as was the finish

from Hayes. He is not only playing, he is making a huge impression, and

Rangers concede again. Andy Halliday. It is Waghorn's

flick, and it is wide. Waghorn did his best to flick that into the net.

This is a good period for Rangers, it is Barry Mackay, and it is over

the bar from Waghorn. Jittery at the back for Aberdeen. This ball reached

Joe Garner, he was under pressure from rivals, Waghorn will feel he

should have hit the target with that. Looking quite pedestrian,

Rangers, and something that frustrates the supporters. And they

have conceded a penalty. Rangers have a chance to draw level. It was

Hayes and Wallace, and there was little doubt it was a spot kick.

Johnny Hayes goes from hero to villain, and how big a villain will

depend on what Andy Halliday does with this penalty kick. Two goals

already this season. His third would draw Rangers level.

And they are! Lewis guesses wrongly, and Andy Halliday squares the game

at Pittodrie. A decisive spot kick from Halliday, and it is Aberdeen

1-1 Rangers. They will feel they deserve it.

This is Burns. He finds Hayes. He will drive at the Rangers defence

here. Tavernier has been booked for that, so that is a free kick. It

certainly looked as if he got some of the ball here, Tavernier, but

plenty of Hayes, as well. Maddison sizes it up. It is not bad! It is

brilliant in fact from James Maddison! And outstanding late

winner surely for Aberdeen. A moment of artistry from James

Maddison. That is special. From every angle, that is special from

James Maddison. A ?3 million player scores in his second league game in

a row. And it is one for the Aberdeen supporters to savour. It

was in all the way, Foderingham could get nowhere near it.

We enjoyed the day, because for long spells it didn't look as if we would

get the win, and it was only really in the last minute we thought that

the three points were staying here. The players deserved it, the

supporters deserved it, but we recognise the strength of our

opponent today. And it is a big win, as I said. But it is only three

points, I wouldn't be getting too upset and too distraught if we

hadn't won, I know there are wins ahead of us, but beating a team like

Rangers can only help. That was the most ROM attic where it could

finish, you always go through scenario Chumak and your head, and

that was one where I scored a winner right in front of the fans.

James Maddison's moment of magic capping a great week for Aberdeen.

It certainly was, and after all the build-up, I felt the first half

lacked quality today. Rangers will probably better in the first half,

Aberdeen under par, but the second half, scoring early and then the

controversial moments. It is a great week for Aberdeen, to get our

victory, to win in the cup, to get through to the semifinal, and then

today was a huge victory, after what has been what most people would say

is a slow start to their season, they are into the semifinal. So many

talking point this afternoon. Week after week we have pinpointed

frailties in the Rangers defence, and we have to do it again. If you

look at this, this was a couple of weeks ago against Kilmarnock, and we

highlighted this, you want your centre-half to attack the ball and

your full-back to drop off, this didn't lead to a goal, but it was a

great opportunity where Kris Boyd almost scores. A lack of

concentration, you look at this. Johnny Hayes is already on his bike,

Tavernier has got to deepen into this position here, he would see

that run and match it, and they don't lose the goal. It is a lack of

concentration, it is poor defensively, and it is simple,

basic. You have a renowned ex-Rangers defender, David Weir, on

the bench, does it surprise you to see these continuing problems? It

does surprise me. Clearly the question that needs to be raised is

how they getting that same coaching defensively? You can't coach and

individual error. He has gone to sleep. But you look at how well they

are coached offensively, the players pick it up, there is a clear

structure and strategy. I think if you constantly coach that, day in,

day out, five or ten minutes here or there, it is drummed into them. The

evidence for me is that attacking wise they are, defensively it

doesn't look as if they are, because honestly, that is so simple, it is a

set play, a defensive ball getting thumped up the park, if you can't

get that right, it causes problems. And ultimately that gets you points

on the board, and that is where they are falling down. That start with

the equaliser, Joe Garner was up front, he was replaced by Kenny

Miller and suddenly they equalised. Joe Garner spent most of the game

jumping into people, trying to get files, he was ineffective, Kenny

Miller comes on and straightaway, he makes a good bit of movement, he

peels off the centre-half, and when you have your centre forward doing

that, you have to get runners in behind, great play to make that

offer in behind and he gets into the box and put Johnny Hayes in a real

awkward position, and it was quite rightly a penalty. It was a bit

naive from Johnny Hayes, he was a hero at the other red earlier in the

game. Mark Warburton said afterward, we would have been disappointed at

1-1, the fourth official even said it wasn't a foul. Big talking point.

The fourth official is right, it isn't a file, and Mark Warburton and

Rangers have every right to feel aggrieved. It is definitely not a

foul. You can set Tavernier, that is where the ball was going, and that

is where it went once he made contact, the referee is just a metre

away when it happens, that is very clear. For me, absolutely not a

foul. And that is an unbelievable free

kick, you cannot take anything away from Maddison, individually it is

technically brilliant. You heard him saying it was the stuff of dreams,

James Maddison, in the interview, and it is. From a Rangers

perspective, it is a bitter pill to swallow because it wasn't a free

kick, but don't take anything away from Maddison. A fantastic data

Aberdeen, that will mean so much for their fans, but for Mark Warburton,

how much pressure is he under? I don't think there is any doubt that

he is under pressure, to be seventh in the league at this stage is and

what anybody expected, and there has been a lack of wins, a lack of now

sussed how to go and win games. Aberdeen can grind games out, I'm

not sure Rangers can. How big a result is this? Massive. A massive

statement after the result against Handy, this one against Rangers.

St Johnstone with the chance to reclaim second spot

Tommy Wright's side away to Hamilton Academical.

Three changes for the Accies from the side who lost at Motherwell.

Income Seaborne, Donati and McCall. Five changes for the Saints from

midweek. S Brophy, back-to-back starts for

him. Up to Gillespie, that is very clever, he has continued the run. A

beautiful little ball. Michael Coulson is the man on the free kick.

Cummins has come right in behind the defence, and sent it wide. For the

man who got one against Hearts a couple of weeks ago, he should have

had the head here. Here is Swanson, cool son all over the Accies

defence. That was a good stop. And alarming amount of space opened up

on the left-hand side. Again, the Accies fortunate. The header is too

strong. Shaughnessy complains, but he took down D'Acol. Crawford with

the free kick. D'Acol into the middle, and it is 1-0 to the Accies,

it is the first of the season. Accies' goal-scoring run continues,

they have scored in every game this season.

Corner from the left hand side. Beautiful header, and D'Acol ends up

in the back of the net, a wry smile from Shaughnessy, and D'Acol doing

his job on the post. Conditions changing as they bring the ball

forward. And diving across was Remi Matthews

getting a touch. The rain is getting worse, I didn't think it was

possible. Beautiful play from Danny Swanson. Here comes Cummins. He

sends the ball across. And again, Greg Docherty, the skill is always

there for Swanson. McKinnon is a hard man to get past.

That goes on to the left foot, and the shot across! Took a nick on the

way through, always dangerous. Dougie Imrie, present this season.

Just needed a touch, almost got one. That was clever from McKinnon, onto

Imrie. Longridge wants it, but Imrie plays it inside, what a beautiful

little dummy, but he just took too long! Zander Clark came out, and

Doherty has such a good touch, brilliant dummy from Brophy, he

should have pulled the trigger first time. He will regret that. Trying to

battle for it. He goes for the shot on the outside, beaten away. It is

1-1! Remi Matthews questions his defence after he made the save. Liam

Craig was emphatic in his finish. Head down over the ball, drilled a

low, great finish, 1-1. Bingham taking an Shaughnessy. Hold

on and see what's around. Imrie is calling for it. He will get it,

Dougie Imrie. The touch from Zander Clark. Dougie Imrie was yelling for

this. Final few seconds of the match. Craig into the box, Sarris

gets it away, Crawford doesn't get on the end of it, and Remi Matthews

with the save. That was nearly a winner for St Johnstone, a brilliant

shot but first-class stop. The second half they pinned us back a

little bit, but we got a great opportunity, and I think we have to

take it, they will give us the second goal, and we didn't take that

chance often enough, I feel like I'm repeating myself, but we have to

take the chances. I was disappointed to be 1-0 down at half-time, I

didn't think we deserved that. And I think we did enough in the second to

at least in the draw, but the longer the game goes on, you do have

doubts, but they kept going, and it is a good point, I think we probably

deserved three but we didn't get it. But it was a good response after

Thursday night. A good point, says Tommy Wright. Does that go down as a

missed opportunity for St Johnstone? If they had won, they would be

second. He was disappointed not to get three points, but it was a good

point away from home. When you look at the start of the season, being

fourth at the moment, they have got to be positive and happy with that

so far. Hamilton Accademical opened the score between Greg Docherty, a

player we were raving about earlier this week, bemused by the fact that

he has played 50 odd games at the top flight of Scottish football,

he's 20 years of age and has never had a sniff when it comes to the

Scotland U21s. I have been impressed with him this year. Here, he scores

a goal, and you see him in the box at a set piece, he has not really

picked up by St Johnstone players. On this occasion here, as the set

piece comes in and the ball comes alive from the second phase, he

wanders into the box and takes a gamble, and you have to say it is a

magnificent finish. Hamilton Accademical have a great youth

system, but are their players undervalued because people think it

is a small club? I think there is an element of that, it goes through

every level of football, but players can be undervalued or overvalued in

terms of where they are at that time, but there is no doubt they

have produced a lot of good players. In the end, an important equaliser

from Liam Craig to get St Johnstone something from this. They had won

the last two games in a row, and they were missing Steven MacLean,

one of their best players who can't play an Astroturf. And the

conditions looked horrendous, but this is poor again from Hamilton

when the ball breaks here, nobody reacts, but Craig definitely does,

and it is a very well taken first-time finish. Hamilton you can

understand, they have lost their last two games, conceding seven

goals in the process, and they took the lead again. They seemed to take

the lead and threw it away continuously. All the signs for a

good season? They have something that every club looks for,

consistency in their managers and players and performances, and I

wouldn't be surprised if St Johnstone have another good season.

Nobody gave Kilmarnock much of a chance as they turned up

Celtic back on home turf after recent awkward encounters

Four changes to the Celtic side, de Vries replacing Roberts. Kilmarnock

skipper Stevie Smith has undergone ankle surgery, and 18-year-old

Taylor takes over at left-back. Nathan Tyson makes his first start,

with another teenager, Adam Frizzell, dropping out.

Kilmarnock making a real venture into the Celtic second-half after

half an hour of concerted pressure from the home team. Souleymane

Coulibaly lets and scores! It is a spectacular sucker punch. I'm not

sure Kilmarnock can quite believe this, it must be all of 40 yards,

and Coulibaly's shot flies over the top of Dorus De Vries, and

incredibly, Kilmarnock are ahead. Celtic looking for a rapid response.

Kieran Tierney against Nathan Tyson. Now it is Rogic, another shot

blocked, Mousa Dembele, it is 1-1. Celtic get things levelled up with a

Mousa Dembele's ninth goal of the season. Scott Sinclair, in goes Rory

McKenzie to win it. But it is given away by Tyson.

Mousa Dembele! It is a quickfire 44 Dembele -- a quickfire double four

Dembele. Six goals in five games now for the former Fulham striker. It is

a shot that Jamie MacDonald wasn't going to be stopping. Dorus De Vries

has picked up a chest injury apparently. Craig Gordon takes over

and gets a big response from the Celtic fans. James Forrest steps

away from Greg Taylor, Rogic, it is James Forrest again, and a great

goal! Are brilliant combination between the parents, and Kilmarnock

were torn apart here, and Forrest stabs home his third goal, his fifth

of the season. Rogic! Great hit, and matched by

that save from Jamie MacDonald, it was almost number four. Off goes

Dembele, no hat-trick for him today, and a Leigh Griffiths will be

desperate to get back among the goals after four games out. Forrest

wriggles clear of Mackenzie, and again! And McKenzie recovering in

the nick of time. He stabbed that behind. Sinclair's corner kick, and

it is Griffiths, it didn't take him long! He is back to business. Eight

goals for the season now. But he is playing catch up in behind Mousa

Dembele, and that makes it 4-1 to Celtic.

S Taylor's challenge, penalty! Caught on the wrong side, the young

left-back gets a yellow card to add to the agony. Clever play from

Griffiths, and not much doubt about the decision. Griffiths has handed

the ball to Scott Sinclair, who keeps up his sparkling start to the

season. He has played in six league games for Celtic, and he has scored

in all of them. Well, five goals for Celtic, and this could have been

just about anything. And make that six. His worst effort at goal of the

afternoon finds a way past Jamie MacDonald, who must be shot to

pieces this stage. 6-1. Celtic were a goal down in the 32nd minute, and

they have won by a country mile. Second-half, we just got blown away,

in every sense. It was men against boys, we have a young team and it

shows. They are the champions of Scotland and they took their

football to a new level. We are not a first team to get a heavy defeat

here since Brendan took over, and we will be the last. Think this fixture

last year was 0-0, so they have shown that ability to go and score

six goals today, and I will always demand that we make improvements,

but as a team, it is an improvement, which is important. They feel they

are developing, but there is still a way for us to go.

Celtic rampant after a spectacular start the sole -- for Kilmarnock,

but it petered out. Who do Celtic start up front, Mousa Dembele or

Leigh Griffiths? They are both players in form, and that was

Dembele's tenth goal. Yesterday he had a quickfire double, and he has

been impressive. He has the shirt just now, and he has done a nothing

wrong to have it taken off air while Griffiths has been injured. The

second one was more impressive on the left foot. It is a great problem

for Brendan Rodgers to have. He has two players who both score goals

regularly. In the system that he plays, he only plays one of them,

and of course Griffiths is going to come on and score. I just wonder

whether you can fit two of them into the team. You see Leigh Griffiths,

this is pure in stick. It is a top goal. I don't think Manchester City

is a game to try to experiment with the two of them, but I think it

would be Dembele supporting Griffiths, he has to be the number

nine. I don't think the Man City game is the one to try it, but this

epitomises what he is all about. He plays on the shoulder and wins the

penalty kick, and it was a good touch him to give the chance to

Scott Sinclair to equal, and make a club record six goals. It was a

fantastic strike from Coulibaly. Let's watch it again.

Is the goalkeeper at fault? I think you should just concentrate on

Coulibaly because this is outrageous. Not the first time he

has scored a spectacular goal this season. His seventh goal in 11

games. His third consecutive call in three games. Look at the diplomat.

There is no way for me that the goalkeeper is at fault. He could

have been standing on his line and he would have been struggling to

save that. Although Dorus de Vries has definitely not stamped his

authority in the goalkeeping position, that was not his fault.

Let's talk about the goalkeeping situation at Celtic. Who starts in

goals for Celtic? Craig Gordon came on. Dorus de Vries strained his

chest in landing. It is bizarre because he didn't look strained when

he got up from. Clearly Dorus de Vries is Brendan Rodgers's number

one. In this game, there is no doubt that Craig Gardner is the better

stop. It comes down to whether Dorus de Vries is fit. He was brought into

play with his feet. His distribution is better than Craig's. For me,

Craig is a better goalkeeper. Can Celtic get anything from this game

against the multimillionaires at Manchester City? You go to these

games at Celtic Park and they will be full of belief they can do it. I

just can't see Celtic getting a result. We shall see.

Ross County had never beaten Hearts at Tynecastle.

In fact, County had only ever beaten Hearts once, back in 2013.

An ominous stat, or a record there to be broken?

Hearts make two changes. Derek kitchen as captain for the first

time. Craig Curran drops to the bench. Ian McShane with the corner.

Solid header away by Paterson. Hearts have the opportunity on the

counterattack. Great effort from Tony Watt. What a terrific save that

was by Scott Fox. Impeded. Free kick given the way of

Ross County. Still looking for their first win at ten Cassel in their

history. Andrew Davies was in there. Well, the Ross County players are

claiming the ball was over the line. Hearts are heading up the other end.

Fox again making a good stop. Helped out by Marcus Fraser. A quick

counterattacking move once more by Hearts. Of the other end, Ross

County almost took the lead. Andrew Davies with the header off the bar

and bouncing down. But not over the line. Are let off for Robbie

Neilson's side. Fox once more to the rescue for Ross

County. Good downward header by the big defender. Hearts on a run of

seven games unbeaten against Ross County. Kitchen deemed to have

fouled Liam Boyce as he made that challenge. The whistle has sounded.

Despite the ball going into the back of the net. I think it is Davies who

is guilty of pushing. Scott Fox, another good stop. Away

by Davis. Scott Fox is having a terrific afternoon. Did it come off

a hand? Referee says play on. Hearts are getting closer, but not close

enough. Nicholson with the effort. Clipping the outside of the post.

Nicholson tripped by McShane. Yellow card for the Ross County midfielder.

McShane in twice. Tripping Nicholson as he got away.

Quinn did well to intercept. Now we have a game between the managers on

the touchline. We need a fourth official to be the referee. 0-0 on

the pitch and off it. There was a late challenge by McShane. A second

yellow card. Within the space of three minutes. Ian McShane is shown

red. Still sitting in a decent position, but after last week, we

should be sitting with six points and we are sitting with one. The

points are not coming in as they should. Anytime you come to

Tynecastle, if you take a point away from here, it is a bad result. This

is a tough league and you need to do a lot of things well to win games.

There was a chance to go above Hearts today if we won, so that was

our objective. But I am not displeased at this point. A lot of

people think that Hearts are one of the teams to challenge Celtic. So

was this disappointing? Robbie was disappointed. Lots of opportunities

and chances for Hearts. They will be disappointed they didn't manage to

capitalise on that and get three points. If the are to maintain a

challenge at the top, games against Ross County at home is where you

want to get three points. Not looking so bad for Ross County.

Scott Fox did well? Hearts were wasteful. They created enough in the

match to win it. This save is brilliant. They created enough to

win the game, Hearts. They will be disappointed. Second week in a row

they haven't scored. Conor Sammon has only scored one goal. Hearts

have scored 11 goals as a team, but only two from the front pairing. You

want the guys at the front to score when they don't even have a chance.

But you're the messed number of them. Ross County has scored seven

goals this season, Liam Boyce has scored six of them. It is something

Ross County will need to work on. You need contributions from across

the pitch. What about the captaincy situation at Hearts? Perry kitchen

is the new hearts captain. What is that all about? It is strange to

announce the captain at this stage of the season. I am surprised that

Cowie hadn't been given it permanently. Perry Kitchen and Cowie

will be main players for the team. I bet nobody tried to take the armband

off There were a number of occasions!

They'd drawn their last two games against Aberdeen and Celtic.

So Inverness could welcome Dundee boasting some decent form

after an early season Premiership wobble.

Commentary on this one comes from Rory Hamilton.

After three games unbeaten, there is a much need for tinkering for Richie

Foran. Kevin Gormley serves the second of his two match ban. Nicky

Low is making his first appearance since April.

It opens up nicely for Draper. He continued his march forward. An

early chance for the midfielder. Well saved by Scott Bain.

Draper wins it back. Inverness have started well. Cross in from Mackay.

A brilliant glancing header from Lonsana Doumbouya. Arrowing the ball

into the corner of the net for his first goal for the club.

Warren. King. The penalty is given. Kevin Clancy points to the spot. The

official judging that was a foul. Greg Tansey. Clinical from the spot.

He does it again. 17 minutes into this game, Inverness Caledonian

Thistle have a two goal cushion. Things are not going to get any

easier for Dundee. The host Celtic next weekend. Decent strike. Power

behind it. Williams not happy that the striker was given space. Liam

Polworth can battle away, but Duffy has won it back for Dundee. Failed

to find the target. Back it comes to Hateley. King played himself into

trouble. Format Williams up for the task once more. Pity for Dundee that

the waited until they went 2-0 down to get into this scheme. Norway pass

the big goalkeeper. This is a ground where Dundee have never one. This is

good stuff from Inverness. Nice touch from Lonsana Doumbouya. Mackay

releases Liam Polworth. This is such a different side from the one who

started the season. Confidence oozing from Richie Foran's men. Liam

Polworth has his first goal of the season to make it 3-0 to Inverness

Caley Thistle. The substitute is under pressure. Loose with the

backpass. This is Liam Polworth. Good stop by Bain. Perhaps Jake

Morini should not have given the Dundee number one chance? Liam

Polworth knocks it on. It is still Inverness were searching for more.

He scored so dramatically in the dying stages against Celtic last

week to gain a point for Inverness. Three efforts, all kept out by a

combination of Scott Bain and McGovern on the line.

Barred in the back. It is Nicky Low and it is brilliantly done by the

midfielder. 3-1 as Dundee get on the scoreboard. Beautiful curling free

kick. Merely a consolation for Dundee. Obviously good results breed

confidence. We are climbing the table and looking up. We went

through a bad patch and we didn't let it affect as. Mentally strong. I

believe there is a lot more to come. As a team, we didn't play well.

There are not many players hit the pass mark today. I don't think you

need to make a challenge like that. Too many times that has happened. We

need to take responsibility. Great win for Cali Thistle. The catalyst

was the St Johnstone game. An excellent point at home against

Celtic. Yesterday, they looked very confident. At that into the fact

that defensively they are looking very organised now. It is very

positive for Inverness at this moment in time. Gary Warren is a

real leader for them. You see him marshalling the defence. They are

hard to break down. If you watch Gary Warren, he is the sort of

defender that puts himself on the line, time and time again for

Inverness. He is a leader and this defending is brilliant. When you

come up a site like that, look how many bodies in that small area, you

need to have players who will commit, break the line and have

someone else confront you. They just didn't have that, Dundee yesterday.

Ultimately, a lot of credit has to go to Inverness in terms of their

defensive structure which has played a big part in them turning the

corner since that game at Newcastle when they were dropped 5-1. The

always pack a physical presence. One San Adam Boyd got his first goal. He

is a focal point for them. He links the play well. This could have been

naughty. I don't think he knows that he is there, so benefit of the

doubt. He gets booked for this and I don't think that is a booking.

You're getting your arm up for leveraged. Most of those challenges,

he is laying the ball. The one you are renowned for is just getting

leveraged. Paul Hartley has not been impressed by the criticism this

season. Yesterday he said the critics should fill their boots. Bit

of a strange one because I don't anybody who was fully aware of what

criticism they have had. But it has got the spotlight onto them. Was it

a game you would have wanted to draw spotlight on in hindsight because it

was approved one for Dundee? There is no Dundee player that really

comes out of it with any credit. They have not won since the opening

day and they have lost six goals in the last two games. Dress it up

however you want, but it has been a poor start to the season.

Would they achieve lift-off against a Motherwell side that

started the day four points in front?

Illness prevents calendars from playing his part today. There is a

debut for Adam Barton in midfield. Motherwell hit Hamilton for four

last weekend. Gordon plays it forward. Craig

Samson reacts. Very sporting between the two players. Tried to chip the

Ryan Scully has to save once more. You can add that to the list of good

saves. It took us a while to get the goal. Given the per first half, we

did OK. If we're taking our chances in the first the game could have

been dead and buried. Recurring theme tonight, taking chances are

not. They should have won the game 4-1. Aziz does really well here. The

one thing you must do in this situation, even if you don't have a

good finish, but make sure it is on target. Make sure that you make the

goalkeeper work. It is good movement. He causes problems for the

defence, but you need to make the goalkeeper work. A lot of bodies

back for them to defend. Didn't manage to get the final ball in. A

lot of good play from Partick Thistle, but when it gets in and

around that box, it is just breaking down for them. Ultimately, that is

when you win and lose games. The final ball is letting them down.

Chris Erskine can be excused. In terms of Motherwell, they could have

won this match as well, had Scott McDonald's effort not been

disallowed. As a striker, when you get a goal disallowed that was a

goal, it is so frustrating. A perfectly good goal. Clearly he is

onside. Huge frustration from Motherwell they have not taken the

three points from what was clearly a valid goal. Morale still seems to be

good with Partick Thistle. Early days, yet there are still bottom of

the table. The need to take some positives. We did create. But they

must be more clinical in front of goal. The last thing we need now is

a trick Ibrox. But they will need to go with a positive mentality. There

is more than enough quality in the Motherwell team for them to have

another successful season. They didn't get the three points, but I

think Motherwell will have another successful season. Thank you.
