Hello. We have a world title decider on the Super League Show tonight.

Wigan have travelled to the other side of the world to face the best

that Australia has to offer. We'll have the highlights of their match

against the Sydney Roosters and the best moments of round 2 of Super

League. Here's what's coming up.

The best of British face the ultimate test. It is the Warriors

against the roosters in the world club challenge.

Will it be two out of two for the Rhinos or a first win for the

Wolves? Leeds take on Warrington. And into the blue, Tom Briscoe on

swapping Hull for a fresh start at Headingley.

Wigan's success in 2013 earned them a shot at the NRL champions Sydney

Roosters. 20 years ago Wigan defied the odds to beat Brisbane in

Brisbane. What a great challenge ahead. The

chance of going to Sydney and winning that game and the players

putting their name in the history books of rugby league and Wigan

Warriors's history as well. It's a huge challenge. We need to be at our

best and have a bit of look on our side. If we can go down and play

anything like to our potential we are going to trouble them. They were

physically a bigger them than we are. Their salary is a lot more, but

no excuses from us. I did it many years ago and still remember how it

felt that night. I want my players to have the same feelings that I

had. That was a long time ago. We are going there and trying to make

an upset and it would have to the an upset as well. If we can do it, it

will be one of the best wins of our career.

Williams is taken by the number nine. Coming over the top was Brett

Ferres. `` by fer el. Wigan are holding on because the Roosters are

coming at them. Jennings! He gets the third try of the world club

challenge. Greased lightning has struck again.

It's a great start for the Roosters, who were exposed in the first set by

the Wigan attack. That fell apart with a forward pass. This is a

lovely move from Jennings and Charnley to get the opening points.

And here again is Hargreaves. He will play the ball 7 metres.

Friend goes away. Moa has scored! Under the uprights of the northern

end, their second try. It is a wonderful ball here from Jake

Friend, a young man who is just getting better every time. He is

tough. A select pass here. Friend very busy. Williams looking for ball

and taking it to ground. They are ten away. Friend puts a dab on it

and races for the bar! Jennings has scored a try. I have a try. The

referee is of the opinion that Bowen hasn't got hands to it downward and

Jennings claimed it. He doesn't feel that he touched it. It will be left

for Jennings to get his second, and he does.

There it is a try. They've got to be conclusive if they overrule.

Maloney! Shaun Kenny`Dowall has got the ball down for a try only seconds

after taking a high shot. It is on inquiry, but I thought he got

downward pressure on it. No try. He said no try, but that was after

consultation. It was very close at the time. It is a freakish ball

which took everyone by surprise except his team`mates. Good call. He

got that one right. Cover defence saving the day.

They are within three matters of the line.

Burgess! First try of the night for the Wigan Warriors. Four tries in

that trial match in New Zealand. That was a great try. A select pass.

We've seen this formation all night. That ball there is a beauty which

Orbison attracted in. It allowed Burgess to cross untouched wide out.

Lock lan, there it goes. Who wants it? Farrell scoops it, shish pushes

it. Jennings. Here comes a historic moment. Michael Jennings. Here they

go again. They paid the ultimate penalty. It started off a small

mistake and grew in stature. Jennings loves that kind of stuff.

Smith down towards Minichiello and it bounces into try! It's a try for

Charnley. The referee points to the spot. A lack of communication there.

Here on the replay Daniel and Minichiello ended up looking at each

other. Minichiello is of the bleach that Daniel is going to catch this.

He'll score again, Charnley. Charnley gets his second try of the

night. They have had an injection of life.

In the half time break, it would seem. Friend again. Maloney. He goes

to the line but he's short. Just centimetres away. Friend gives it to

Hargreaves and he scores adjacent to the post. What a pass from Friend.

It is like an action replay. Moa with the first try of the night. And

Hargreaves not to be denied there. Jake Friend dances back a couple of

paces. Williams out the back. Shaun Kenny`Dowall puts it over the line!

Kenny`Dowall scores again for the Roosters. Lovely work from Sunny.

The outside defender didn't want to come in to him but was left with no

choice. Once he was committed an overlap was created. Jamie was so

disappointed afterwards wasn't he? I think they will be disappointed.

They were 18`0 down. They looked down a young side that made some

nervous mistakes through lack of concentration but once they were

back in the game they looked like a good side. Do you think it is a

score line that reflects the difference in the kiss? If you look

at the Wigan side that wasn't the side that won the competition last

year. It was tough ask to go down there and play the champions of the

NRL in ne'er own back yard. They made a few basic errors but they

showed a lot of resolve in that second half. I still think the

English teams can compete but they probably would be disappointed with

the score line. Michael Jennings the first guy to get a hat`trick but he

benefitted from errors didn't he? He. It it was story of the day for

Wigan. Jens a good example of the coach cog. He wasn't wanted at

Penrith and here he is scoring a hat`trick. That was the order of the

day for Wigan. A lack of concentration and keyer overs caused

them tries. And Bowen struggled? He has to have time to beg in that we

can and get used to have a place. It is a young Wigan side. He performed

admirably against the best team in the world. He's great talent for the

future. It is a key position, full`back, and you are not going to

go in and be as good as you have been in the past. It will take a

number of weeks. You know a lot about Sydney. What do know about

Trent? He has been great. He has got a resolve to win the title, and it

was a fantastic achievement. Wigan represented England. I really

enjoyed the game. A few of my team mates had a reunion. There were a

few drunken messages. What about the format of the competition. There was

talk of expanding it. Yes. That would be good to seeing. It is good

for someone important in Australia to say they want to expand it. There

have the champions league in football. Why not have something

similar? Fingers crossed. We will find out however one has been

getting on while they have been away.

Tony Smith is back on familiar ground. Will his Warrington team

rise to the challenge athletes? Who will get the points at Bellevue? We

will find out who is setting the faith after round two. `` setting

the pace after round two. It is two weeks since Huddersfield

kicked the season off with an emphatic win at Wigan. The Giants

had a weekend off, but were on the field on Sunday. Hull Kingston

Rovers word there. It would be disappointing for them.

There were playing really fluent rugby. They are a great tide. They

have got a good squad and a good coach. They have been extremely

consistent over the last 18 months or so. The coach will be extremely

disappointed. It was probably a bad day at the office for Paul

Anderson. They were down to 11 and still managed the try. That is a

confident team. Yes. There is talent throughout the team. Very tough to

beat at home. Even though they were down to 11, they manage to

whitewash. I am sure Paul Anderson felt the same. What you think was

said in the dressing room at half`time? Well, whatever was, it

worked. There were probably some small things they can work on. A big

thing is attitude. The huge amount of self belief to come back 80 ``

comeback against a team like this field is... They had to do this. It

was a cruel kick. A lot was riding on that. What can a win like that do

for a side's confidence? It is massive. They looked dead and buried

at half`time but then they came back. It is all about momentum.

They were classed that `` it will do them the world of good. Saint Helens

and Hull had the opportunity to remember Steve Prescott. This was

the first meeting between them since he passed away. His life was

remembered with the bridge being re`named in his honour. The teams

played their own `` pay their own pre`match tribute. He would've

enjoyed this, wouldn't? Yes. It would have really enjoyed it. I

think it is fantastic what they have done to on a fantastic player and a

great guy. He was an inspiration. What do you make of Hull? I think

they are finding their feet. There have got a new coach. I think they

will be difficult to beat at home. They are a resilient, tough side.

How different is it when you get a first`time coach as well? He is

inexperienced. He is, but he has been an assistant for a number of

years. He is local as well, I think that helps. He has the respect of

the players. When players want to play for their coach, that means a

great deal. They are a squad with a lot of talent. I think Saints got a

bit of a tongue lashing at half`time. We have seen that again,

the team playing better after half`time. Centre play nicely. They

will be a threat this year. Could you manage something like this,

Adrian, in the corner? Not at the moment. How instrumental is Luke

Walsh to what they achieved? I thought it was fantastic in the

Warrington game. He really awkward that she really orchestrated things.

Give him this was a wake`up call for them not to get carried away after

that first win? Yes. I think the win against Warrington was exceptional.

Hull have another tough game coming up. There have indeed. One of the

stars was Tom Briscoe. He scored a hat`trick. He told is what life was

like in his news surroundings. Tom Briscoe one up in the colours of

Hull FC. But the colours have become blue and Amber after a switch to

Leeds. It was something I wanted. I had grown a bit stale in Hull. I

enjoying every part of it. His debut in round one was close to perfect.

Kallum Watkins finds Tom Briscoe for his second try. Tom Briscoe is going

to score a hat`trick of tries. Really pleased we have got him. He

has done some incredible things in his short career. He has helped his

team. He is a most difficult person to put down. It is like trying to

tackle tree Tom `` tree trunks. You step up a gear when you come to a

club like Leeds. It is different expectations and demands. That is

what he is after. He has come to better himself. It is a bit of a

feather in the cap for the club and for the game itself. When the Leeds

offered came in, it was one I could not really refuse. It is a massive

club within the game. Getting the chance to play at Headingley is one

I could not really pass up. I wanted to improve my game. He will enhance

what he has already got. The best people get the share. Briscoe is

closing in on a century of tries. He's not the only one keeping tally

at Headingley. I have been told that Ryan Hall keeps count of everyone's

tries. We will see what happens comes the end of the season.

Hopefully, I will be up there for he is leading so far. He was back on

the field on Friday night. Smooth running slowly down the start

of this reason, after victory against Hull Kingston Rovers last

week in their first match. Warrington are looking to turn

things around, after defeat against St Helens. A debut for Tom Briscoe.

A little shuffle for Warrington. Warrington and trying to keep it

Monaghan has taken it. `` Gareth O'Brien's kick. Ryan Hall could not

get off here. Plenty of new faces here this evening for fans to goggle

at. What counts, Briscoe. Zak Hardaker. Wonderful play. The new

boy is settling in well. They hat`trick at Hull Kingston Rovers

last week. Here is Tom Briscoe. Plenty of tackles at the back here.

He could not find his centre for winger. Had he found either, would

have been a try. Just try to put Leeds on the back

foot if they can close that muscular menace. Briscoe comes in on the

angler find a gap. Where he goes. He has pushed off the final man.

Briscoe's Leeds career is flying. First try in Headingley, first game

at Headingley. He came from wide right will stop lovely.

Michael Monaghan. Gaps there. Closes up at the very last minute. Ward was

the man underneath that. Miler, another crushing effort. Big

resistance from Leeds. Zak Hardaker with a terrific tackle on the line.

And Ryan Hall completes the Leeds rescue act. They have escaped. A lot

of it is down to this big effort from Hardaker. And the presence of

mind from Hall to get back. Another mighty effort from the Leeds

prop forward tonight, Jamie Peacock. A step and a shimmy but not enough

to beat Miler. Hardaker has seen a gap, and Zak Hardaker! A try that

puts clear daylight between Leeds and warring wafrmct very nearly an

hour played. `` Warrington, very nearly an hour played. It is a big

effort from Peacock tonight. He's closing in on 60 tackles for the

game. Westwood still going. He thinks he's

got the try. The referee is offering it upstairs for the video refs of

the a go. What an effort from Westwood! Watering watering are

still Warrington are still in the game. A chance for Briscoe, the man

in the moment in blue and amber to sweep it up and take it dead. That

should just about make sure that Leeds win this night. A night to

remember for Tom Briscoe. That close`up we saw of you Jamie

probably shows how tough a night it was? Yes, we knew Warrington would

play well. We were holding on the last five or ten minutes. Pleased

the way the team went? There's things we need to work on. It is

only round two, but to beat Warrington is always a good win.

What do you make of Warrington? A massive improvement for them but

still lost? A big improvement. The performance, disappointed with the

loss. But any team who's going to lose a player as influential as Lee

will take a while to come good. A few players are missing through

injury. Some good signs. There's still a number of weeks to go but

I'm sure we'll see Warrington to bounce back. It was go of Tom

Briscoe to score when we profiled him. What has he brought to the

side? He talk about his strength, but he's got more than that. You

want your wingers to be good at bringing the ball back to your own

half. He took some scoring. To score in that way is fantastic. A great

acquisition for us. You talk about his strength. Brian McDermott said

his strength is his strength. That's true. When I played against him it

takes four or Fife to bring him council. `` it takes four or five to

bring him down. He wasn't Man of the Match. Zak Hardaker was. He really

seems to be maturing. Yes, he does. Again, he's fantastic in that Leeds

battle line. A classy player. Very quick, evasive but his defence is

improving as well. Not only does he score tries, he saves them as well.

He puts a tackle on later on and he comes up with a great tackle. This

try by Tom Briscoe, not many people in the world can score this try. The

back line at Leeds is looking particularly hot at the moment. And

your favourite moment is this, the try saver? This is unbelievable. You

will watch 20 or 30 games before you see a try like this. It got us back

into the game really. They were on top. Zak Hardaker has come back from

trouble. He knuckled down, got on with things and he's reaping the

rewards. He is probably on parole a bit but the signs are good for him

at the moment. What do you think of the possible successor? He played

well, Gareth. I think now with more on his shoulders he'll take on more

of a leadership role. I think that will benefit him. He went on loan to

St Helens and performed great there. I think he's got all the tant. It

will probably take him a number of weeks to grow into it but he's got

the potential to do that. It was a historic week for rugby league in

London. The Broncos had their first match tep Hive, their new home in

barn bet. Salford red Dev dills were in town. It was a comfortable win

for your new side wasn't it? It was. It was a game we were confident of

winning. There was a couple of changes. A couple of people with

bumps and bruises. The boys, they scored some great tries. Harrison

scored three tries in two games. He's been a great signing. London do

need to improve. The last week and this week, they have had a lot of

points put on them, so they need to improve their defence. It was job

well done for the Salford boys. They got the two points and got out of

there. I think before the season started he

knew he would be behind Tim Smith, but with Rangi's injuries, he's got

an opportunity. He scored a couple of good tries. He looks very good.

We have the other side. Gareth is a great player but he spends a lot of

time off the pitch doesn't he? He's not renowned for his patience or

tolerance. It is something we were working on, his temperament. He's

had a number of sin binnings but she a talented player. I think he's one

of them players who plays on the line. Sometimes it boils over. But

that's part of his asset. The fear factor. Some blokes are scared to

tackle him because he runs that hard and he has that intimidation about

him. We know London are up against it. They are still recruiting

players. At what point do you say they node to stand up and get

results? I think they are bringing more better quality Australian

settle in. The key is not to get too disheartened if they don't win for a

few weeks. Throughout the year they'll improve and get some wins

soon. What do the guys make of the Hive. Did they enjoy the atmosphere?

They. It is not a huge ground, which is great. London don't get huge

crowds anyway, but I think six or 7,000, that's the capacity. `` 6,000

or 7,000 is the capacity. When it is full it will be a nice ground for

them. The boys said the facilities are great. They enjoyed going down

there. And a different challenge against Saints? They started the

season fantastically well. It is a different challenge on Thursday but

the boys are really excited for that challenge. They can't wait. It will

be good to get another big crowd there. It will. It was a great crowd

at Wakefield. If 7,000 at the new ground. Hopefully we'll do better

and get more. What are you making of the new look Salford? I think the

first two games they got four points. Real test is this Thursday

against St Helens. Hopefully it will be a great game. I'm looking forward

to watching it. You've got a malicious grin. Two teams met at

Bellevue on Thursday night ` Wakefield against Bradford. There

were some big moments for both teams.

Bradford and Wakefield were tipped for relegation this season. It was

far from a classic. There were 17 personal Tess and 30 errors recorded

during the game as both teams looked for a victory.

He's got the pass away. He scores in the corner. A really high`quality

try. Fox with a super finish as well. They get themselves on the

score sheet. The Bulls were never behind in the

game. Luke George was sent over for a try

on his debut. Wakefield are looming large on the line. Carney looks like

he's been hit by a tractor never mind an 18 stone prop. A late try

for Adam O'Brien and Luke Gale meant the Bulls are celebrating with a win

this season. We defended the line well. There were a couple of mishaps

but apart from that I'm pleased. They work hard for each other. We

want to win every week. We know we are light on preparation in terms of

this game and where we are but they are the cards we've been dealt.

We'll learn on the job and it will be better if we hold on to the ball

a bit more. We never gave ourselves a chance, because we made too many

fundamental errors. Both coaches talked about the difficult turn

around upon the a Thursday. It wasn't a classic by any means. It's

the nature of the sport. You have got to roll your sleeves up and get

on with it. The Easter weekend, the same for everyone. You've got to do

your best. Luke Gale was key to the good things Bradford did. I think

he's an exceptional half`back who can only grow. I think he is going

to be key for Bradford. I think Bradford will be pleased with that.

I think Wakefield will be disappointed. If if they are looking

to stay up they need to win those games at home. And your old mate, a

wonderful barge straight through wasn't it? Ali is a gentle giant off

the pitch, but on the pitch he wants to win. When we see him knock Brett

off here, Kearney must have sin bin ?. He's a great player, Ali. A

lovely guy. How many due manage when you've got a small squad, because

injuries are going to be key. They are, but you are talking about the

seconds game of the season, so injuries shouldn't be part of it at

this stage. Both coaches did complain but it's a case of dealing

with it really. It was only one day less than a Sunday to a Friday, so

it was a case of getting on with it. These smaller squads, it is a case

of having the luck of the draw and trying not to get injured. Let's

finish the programme at the top of the table, because that's where

Castleford Tigers sit right now. It is two wins out of two and this was

a comfortable one against Catalan wasn't it. Castleford are playing

really well. Last year Daryl Powell got them playing well. I think

they'll finish well into the eight. Carney is nicknamed the Beast. He is

a unique body shape. He's definitely talented and he throws his heart

into everything he does. It is great to see another success story. That

was the only try that Catalans scored. They were very scratchy

against Hull. This is a fixture that was before the ball was kicked...

Another dust`up! A weekend of dust`ups. That's right. This was a

fixture they were looking to win but Castleford had other ideas. The wing

ser a crowd favourite. I love watching him play. I think

Castleford are going to upset the apple cart this year and do very

well. Castleford, they seem to have strengthened in depth and have more

structure. Daryl Powell spoke last year that the defence was a problem.

In the last two rounds they've only conceded six points. He's had four

months to work on the systems and it is working for them. A great success

story so far. We are only two rounds in but we spoke about Daryl Clarke

last year. A talented young man. He's a brilliant player. He's one of

the most athletic players. A Blair player. That's like a winger's try.

And you've got Catalan next week? Is we have. We'll be looking to put

that right. Catalan, what will they be saying? Back to the drawing board

I think. They've not started great. Confidence will be a bit lower. It

is a totally different kettle of finish going to Catalans. Two away

games, two losses, so something's not going right for them. I'm sure

with the talent in the squad they'll bounce back. I think the next game

is a home one against the Leeds Rhinos, so they'll be hoping to

bounce back. Will you be in for some atmosphere I imagine. I love playing

there. It is one of the best place play. French really get behind their

team. For Castleford tigers fans every, where let's check on the

Super League table. The Super League Show return at the

As somebody who is older than the pair of you I shouldn't bring up

your age. 60 tackles you put into that game. How do you recover? Next

weeks it is just part of the job. I love doing it and I accept feeling

painful for two or three days afterwards is part of the job. I

like being involved. Have you felt the benefit of having a proper

pre`season? I have. Throughout my career I've never had a full

pre`season with the internationals. We saw how well Jamie played last

year without playing internationals, so hopeful live it will have the

same effect on myself. I feel great. It is beneficial. Fingers crossed.

You are not going to keep going for another year so you will be the
