is a really Special One for me that I've played and scored in the FA

starting to dream. A fantastic season. The balance in

the team, the shape and creative genius that is Dimitri Payet has

given that team Ellen opportunity. They are solid, they believe they

can score. He is really the catalyst for what they do creatively. Dimitri

Payet, it may be obvious. It is evident he feels loved. Not just by

his manager and team-mates, but by the fans as well. They are all

pulling in the same direction. They allow the players to perform

expressively, and he is flourishing, he is absolutely enjoying the role

that he is playing, so comfortable with the ball at his feet, and he is

their main man. He is one of those players that really enjoys that

moment. And he seems to be quicker in possession with the ball than he

does without it, certainly he doesn't do a lot of defending, and

you can afford a luxury player like him if he is going to deliver this

sort of quality on a regular basis, and against a Blackburn team that

are improving, I think the space that he has got it creates

himself... They don't come up against that a tall, black bun, in

the championship, and this wrong here, they are mesmerised by what he

is doing. If the opposition try and focus on Payet, that creates more

room for Victor Moses, or for Michail Antonio. So you can't focus

your attention all on one man. No, it is up to that guy to be a problem

whether he is got the ball or he hasn't. What I get a sense of is

every time West Ham play gets the ball, they look for him first, and

if he is on, they give it to him, and somebody else should free,

because teams they come up against, once they know how dangerous he is,

there will be a second player to help out with the marking. And once

he gets on the ball, you know he is good to land at exactly where he

wants it. You like a statistic. Jon Moss has refereed four West Ham

games this season, and he has given out five red cards, not alter the

opposition author West Ham, but talk us through the two red cards he

showed here. I don't think this is a yellow card

at all. The ball gets moved away from him, it is clumsy at worst, but

this one I think it is a yellow card, and as a player, if you are an

Can they really keep all the plates spinning? Their league form might

have crumbled since Christmas, but maybe that has merely focused their

league, a lot of injuries, and we looked more like our old selves

today. Quick on the break, at counterattacking, good defensive

display, good set plays, and it was enough for us to win. In football,

you need to be clinical in front of the goal, we created more chances

and we managed the game, but sometimes when you create great

chances, and you score, it is difficult to win games. Not a bad

way to score your first goal for the club. It is funny, the first couple

of months, I have not played, it has been frustrating, but I have kept

working hard and doing sessions on my day off, knowing that my chance

will come, and me and my girlfriend were talking the other day and she

was saying she kept seeing stuff that was 34 numbered and stuff, and

she had a feeling about today. Does this mean you will go to the

chairman to ask for another break in Spain prior to the next round?

Absolutely! He knows I like to keep the traditions of this football

club, so I will be talking to him this week and finding out the venue.

That might have surprised a few people, and after the game, Alan

Pardew did say, if somebody had told me at the start of the season,

quarterfinals of the FA Cup at the top ten Premier League finish, I

would have taken it! Yes, I think nobody was expecting that of them.

And Spurs have been the opposite, they have had fantastic form home

and away, and aided everything apart from put the ball in the back of the

net today. Fair play to Palace, they have gone then put in a solid

display and gone through. And Palace, one win in seven before

today,... And that was in the cup, their only

wins this calendar year have been in the cup. And you look at a team in a

run of bad form and you think, is that going to be the catalyst for

them having a run of good form? I look at the role Zaha played, he is

a fantastic creative player for them, he has to be more consistent

and make the right decisions more often, because he has all the

ability in the world, he is a very talented player, and that proved the

difference, his bit of guile, but as Jermaine said, they did everything

but score. Will it worry Spurs, they are looking at the Europa League on

the title as well, will they be concerned? I think it is a missed

opportunity. When you look at the teams left within the competition, I

think they had a real chance to go to Wembley and when it, not just to

get a trip to Wembley in the semifinals. So they might say that

that is a good opportunity to win it this year. Pochettino has been very

certain that every competition was important. He talked after they won

last weekend at city about taking the Europa League seriously. They

can perform at the highest level for the season, they have youthful

energy but they also have quality as well which will see them through a

lot of their games. Our final match for you, the one here at Stamford

Bridge, Chelsea taking on a Manchester City side who might have

their eyes on other competitions. Guy Mowbray and Danny Murphy are

your commentators. The standout tie of the fifth round

takes on a different feel. Nothing different about Chelsea, the

same that started in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Now the City team with nine changes from last week, only Zabaleta and

Fernando stay in with Manuel Pellegrini prioritising Kiev and

given the experience of the players? Unfortunately for us we couldn't

play another day, we couldn't have more players fit for this game. We

knew before the game it was a difficult chance to continue in the

FA Cup. If anyone wanted to put the game on

the correct day, we could do anymore.

It was, competitive in the end, but is it difficult to gauge either team

given the City selection? There is still a job to do, the

tricky thing for Chelsea if they did not know who they would come up

against. Usually you can gauge the players because you see them in the

Premiership. They had worked at how City would play, the individuals. It

was a very professional and entertaining display from Chelsea, I

was impressed. Cesc Fabregas said, once they saw

the line-up, it felt like it doubled the pressure on them because of the

youngsters in the City side. He himself was excellent. We have some

examples of him in the half. The first 15 minutes, he played

alongside. It was only when he moved 30 metres further forward that he

influenced the game. You see of his qualities, the weight of the past

was terrific. His ability to see the past before he receives the ball,

and the execution. The weight of the past four Coster was sensational. He

picked up this area and started operating here and was impossible to

mark. When he was picking up the ball, he

was almost demanding people move forward. The difference that makes

to the team was so big. Usually everyone wants to go to the ball but

with him, they are trying to find spaces behind defence. It has almost

added a lot to the team. Do you think he would have taken

that upon himself? I wonder what the trigger is the him to say, I will go

depends how the opponent sets up against Chelsea. A couple of weeks

ago against Manchester United in the League, they did the same.

Manchester United dominated the first 50 minutes. Once he moved

further forward, United couldn't cope. As soon as he did it, the game

flipped on its head and Chelsea dominated.

As much as it will hurt for City fans players and youngsters, can you

take positives in the long run when you are young and starting out to

mark every youngster out there for Manchester City should take

positives. I thought they really gave a good

account of themselves. Particularly in the first half. Always tough

against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. They held their own. They will learn

a lot from this experience. Unfortunately, the fans have spent a

lot of money coming down here. Barnwell Pellegrini may have taught

the questions. When you have six of them looking

around, as inexperienced as each other.

I actually think, it was disrespectful to the condition, the

fans who came down. I did not think he needed to play six young players

in that team to start with. The fans do not seeing their young

players. Absolutely. I am all for bloodying the youngsters but there

is a time and place. There will have learnt a lot. There will be plenty

of positives. They could have done it in a different way.

Let us look at the draw for the quarterfinals which took place at

the final whistle at Stamford Bridge. Graeme conducted it. You can

make up your own mind if it is a good one. It depends who you

support. I suppose, because it is a definite,

and we know it will take place, Everton haven't Chelsea is the one

that grabs attention. That is the one we'll be looking at

as the most exciting. West Ham if Manchester United

managed to get through against Shrewsbury, could be tricky.

They will fancy their chances. Absolutely, they are playing well.

Confident in terms they believe they can beat anyone. Manchester United,

you don't know which team will turn up and perform. I think bedding as

well, they have had a fantastic Cup run.
