Leicester and Tottenham do it again for the third time in ten days this

time at the King Power Stadium and we must have a winner in this third

round replay of the FA Cup. The controversial penalty from Harry

Kane in the first game earned Spurs a draw and a rematch tonight, 45

goals in 12 FA Cup ties between the teams so we should get plenty of

action. The winners will face a trip to League 1 side Colchester. We are

delighted to welcome former Leicester manager Martin O'Neill

with Jermaine Jenas and Ian Wright. Martin, three games in ten days,

unusual. Is there a case of even the managers that you start to get used

to each other? I don't think so. I think the games are so important

now, with the position that Leicester find themselves in, in the

league, they are prioritising. They are thinking, hold on, that gap

between the fourth team and the 15 is getting wider and we are still

hanging in there. We are more than hanging in there, we are doing

fantastically. -- the fourth team and the 15. They think that the fans

will forgive them if they get knocked out of the Cup if they

finish in the top four. The last time Spurs came here in a cup tie

was pretty much tenuous to the day, not only did you play, I hate to

show you this, you scored! Yeah, we ended up losing that day so it did

not turn out to be a happy day at all. Both sides have made a lot of

changes, where do you stand on resting players in the FA Cup?

Leicester's priority is that they are flying in the league, doing

things no one expected. It is something they should go for, in

case it does not work out in the top four because the case for Leicester,

staying around the European places would be a magnificent season. I

have no problem with teams resting players, that is how it is these

days, how it's got to be. That said, Leicester have gone in with

practically the same side that played ten days ago, de Laet has

gone out, possibly injured, I would say that Drinkwater for Kante, it's

the same team. They will feel they can win with this team. Jermaine you

are not sure that changing has helped their fluency? They were

playing so well and as a player we know what it is like when you open

getting into that rhythm, playing in a team, things start to happen

without thinking about it and when you break it up and go and have a

rest, it can have an effect. For Leicester, in the home game, it

could have cost them. Let's hear from the Leicester manager, he's

made quite an impact on his return to England. Green man I love these

nicknames. Maybe I surprised the journalists.

story goes on. Claudio six months you been back in

England, how are you enjoying it at Leicester City? A lot. Top of the

league, I enjoy that a lot. You have managed some of the biggest clubs in

Europe, how does that compare to managing a club the size of

Leicester City in comparison? Yeah but I manage also clubs like

Leicester, not only big teams. For me it is important to have a good

relationship with the owner, with the players, with the staff, with

everybody, because I believe that all together we can do something

special, something good. And intriguing situation, Tottenham for

the third time in ten days, you are unbeaten, that must give you hope?

No, because you know when you play against big teams like Tottenham,

you know they can invent something suddenly, and we have to stay very

attentive during all the match. Thank you, good luck. We need!

Always need luck and they seem to have quite a bit this season, it's a

remarkable story, Leicester, it has gone on for some time. They are

clearly punching above their weight. An element of fluke? I don't think

it is a fluke. I think it is a continuation from the back end of

last season. The manager, I have grown to like him, I've never met

him, but I like a great deal because he was asked the question for seven

consecutive weeks and he kept saying the same thing, once we get to 40

points! Now he's gone past that he will have to think of something

else! A remarkable run. Everyone is thinking, when will it stop. And

that is as good as incentive as any to keep it going. They have brought

in, strengthened, in the transfer window, one of those players, demo

write great, made an impressive debut two days ago. A super young

player. They've found a good player. The way they are playing at the

moment, the perfect player, quick feet, brilliant, very confident,

speculative shot, not a great one, but wants to take people on. Coming

into a Leicester side that's doing so well, this is perfect for him, to

keep doing stuff. Great delivery. And here again, and this was

unlucky. He's got space in front of him, looking to take him on, you

know who come onto his good right foot, a good shot here, I think he's

perfect to come into this side, the way Leicester are going at the

moment for him to play the way he played at Birmingham. He's got a lot

to offer, she has hit the ground running. Lunch McVeigh are a bit

impatient comedies only had one game! Give him a chance! What about

Drinkwater. Perhaps one of the unsung heroes in midfield. I know

that Leicester have made a lot of changes tonight but he has made 21

appearances in the league for them this season. One of the foundations

What have you learned from the last two games? Always we can learn, we

try to solve some problems that we have in the last two games against

them. They are in the same position than us. They learn a lot from us

too. Today is a good opportunity to try to win the game, because it is

the third in ten days, one draw, one loss, one defeat. To win the game

today is important. You started with Harry Kane on the bench, ideally

would you like to stay there at the end of the game because you had to

bring him off in the first game and he got that late, late penalty. Yes,

you know we have a strong squad, we need to share this... Our players

need some time to rest. We've played a lot from the beginning of the

season, the Premier League is very tough, and international

competition, I think it is important to remember in every big

international break, they play minimum two games, it is tough for

them, they not machines. We have a strong squad and it's a good

opportunity for the players who maybe don't play consistently in the

Would you stand on him? He came in with a big reputation, he was

described as the new brand of Art, who has actually played at Tottenham

as well. Credibility. Fantastic ability. What is missing?

Consistency? He's only 23. We will probably point out others about 23,

I will give him the benefit of the doubt, I still think he's getting

used to the English game. An important aspect of Tottenham's

tactical side is the way the full-backs, they have been switched

around a little of late but the importance stays the same. It is a

huge feature of Spurs's play. The useful bags to create width. That

allows players like eRIKSEB, whoever is playing behind Harry Kane, to

override those areas. -- Eriksen. Dier counteract that, he drops to

centre-half to give security to the team. As the ball is moving, we

highlight him at the top, he can get into those areas, whether it is him

or Kyle Walker, that is way they play five in midfield against Spurs.

It works. How will it go? He will have two fancy Leicester City at

home. -- you'll have to fancy them out. At the same time, Spurs have

not got a bad side. I think it will be a stalemate and the 60th minute

and then we should Seagulls. A possibility. I think Leicester at

Tonight at the King Power Stadium, it is Leicester versus Spurs. Over

Lamela is in, and Eriksen started the weekend with the win over

Sunderland. It's a strong Spurs midfield, should they play Kane,

should he have played? Should Jamie Vardy have played? These questions

will be answered in the next 90 minutes. Has he played his strongest

team? Should he played those star strikers? We would all have to see

them, but if he can keep them on the bench, there is so much talent on

the bench, I think we will see some coming off the bench before the end.

Tonight, Wasilewski scored an excellent goal at White Hart Lane,

looking to make his mark, excellent in that first game. He and Robert

Firth in the league game last week exposed that lack of authority. He

and Huth. Can they expose the opponents are today? They scored a

good goal from the corner, excellent goals scored in the game, of course,

Huth, he's someone you have to be aware of with the pace and power

they've got in this Leicester City side. Especially from set pieces.

Looking forward to seeing Eric and I are playing his natural position at

centre-half, looking to impress Roy Hodgson before the European

tournament this summer. He has started 43 of the last 48 games, but

mainly in midfield. He is the third centre-back partner for Wimmer,

playing just his third game for Spurs since his summer move from

German football. Anthony tailor is the referee. Spurs are in white, and

they will kick this off. Picking from right to left in this first

half. Who starts as favourites for you?

Leicester, especially after that win at White Hart Lane in the Premier

League last week and with them being at home, they have a big chance. One

home defeat in 11 tries for Leicester City. Spurs, in their last

nine away ties have found goals difficult to come by, just four.

Spurs play out. This is Pochettino's way. Dier has given thataway.

Tomorrow I grade, so fleet of foot. -- Demarai Gray. I saw him on his

debut at White Hart Lane. He came in narrow and that allowed Leicester a

great game, in terms of crosses. I wonder if they will use that tactic

again tonight against Lamela. It could well be the youngster who

takes it. The edge of the penalty area. Andy King is in there. Such a

good scoring record in the FA Cup, just standing offside, Wasilewski is

up for it as well, Benalouane as well. He didn't quite get it right,

GRay. He is a player looking to get the. Ball. Davies. Spurs played

their full-backs very very high in that first game. I thought they were

caught out particularly down the right-hand side for Leicester City,

Nathan Dyer got caught out once or twice in that match. A fellow

commentators said it was a Leicester alloy to push the full-backs into

advanced positions so they couldn't get in behind. Leicester did not

start that game while at White Hart Lane. Eriksen. The ball back into

the heart of the Spurs midfield. Eriksen rejuvenated by his goals.

Chadli and Lamela in the wider positions. At the moment, Son

Heung-min has started on the left. The writeback pushed on, Walker

loves to go marauding forward. -- the right-back.

Looking for Son Heung-min. There was a decision against Dier at White

Hart Lane. One of the youngsters brought on so well by Pochettino.

Watching him in the first game, a great record bringing through young

English talent, among the substitutes, Jamie Vardy, and

Mahrez, the scorer of most of the goals for Leicester City. And of

course Harry Kane for Spurs. With his 15 goals this season. A great

goal threat on the bench and Jamie Vardy as well. I expect we will see

Okazaki and Vardy at some stage. And of course Harry Kane. Leicester and

beaten since Boxing Day. They have drawn four of their last five games.

Spurs, two defeats in their last 17. Between these two sides, 44 games

played and five defeats. They have both been very consistent. Gray

again, we spoke about him, perhaps we expect too much from him

sometimes. He's coming to the Premier League, he is still young

but with his talent and ability Leicester have a bargain with the

fee they paid him from Birmingham. Punch Mike Davies. -- Davies.

Bentaleb playing very deep in the opening exchanges between the two

Spurs centre-backs. He has had a bad year in terms of injuries, missed 17

games with an ankle problem since August 29, at Everton. Almost

playing as a third centre-back. Drinkwater is I think they're unsung

hero this, Leicester. That was a good chance. Something Jermaine

Jenas spoke about before the game, Eric Dier comes back into give

stability from a defensive point of view, allowing the full-backs to get

forward. Into the central midfield position, going wide to make that

challenge. Covering a lot of ground in there. His second FA Cup start,

she started in the game against Arsenal couple of years ago and lost

in the third round twice in the last decade, that game at Arsenal, and at

Leicester in 2005-6. Lamela. A chase he will not win. When he drops in

he's got to be a little more aware that he can't give the ball away

like this. He's got to be tighter with his first touch and play

quicker. We know that the way that Leicester are set up they get back

into position quickly but that man, Drinkwater, he's having an excellent

season. He has many Manchester City and Manchester United connections.

Here is Benalouane. The 2005-6/3 round win for Leicester City, we saw

in the build-up the goals scored by Jermaine Jenas. But was kept out by

Dier, the first man to bed. -- the first man to it. In that cup tie

back in 2006, Spurs were two goals up and they lost the game late. But

has been the way these games have gone between these two sides of

late. Leicester City have come from behind, as they did in the first

game, to take the lead, only to be pegged back to 2-2. Certainly

entertaining. Kasper Schmeichel with the kick, targeting Eric Dier. Gray

down the left-hand side. Eriksen. Dier. Kevin Wimmer. He said very

good the Austrian. Walker. Son Heung-min is in the middle. I think

Tom Carroll got in. Into the hands of Kasper Schmeichel.

Very very good saves in the league game last week, especially from

Eriksen and Bentaleb in that match, the draw. I think he did not deal

with the initial strike that Eriksen got the rebound from. He's had an

excellent time since coming to a Leicester, he's a top goalkeeper.

Are they settling down? It's been a bit scrappy, Spurs giving the ball

away in their own half sometimes, Dier and Gray looking to capitalise

on it. Although Leicester looked the more threatening. They are back into

shape, it is how they break. Leicester are excellent when they

filter back into position, they all want to break so quickly. Certainly

doing it well at the moment. Coming from behind, there was a horrible

mistake by Michel Vorm. He had made early saves in that time. He is in

goal for Tottenham again tonight. He hasn't been on the winning side so

far in this season. Walker, lots of space. But was too pacey from

Chadli. Chadli playing through the middle. Interchanging with Son

Heung-min. I saw a lot of Son Heung-min in German football at

Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen and I thought he was more effective in a

wide supporting role than in the middle. I would agree, I've seen him

a couple of times and I think he's better playing out wide or even of

the strike. In the first game at White Hart Lane he did not have as

much impact as he would have liked. Tom Carroll come into the penalty

area, Chadli brings it down. Eriksen in support. The pace of Gray. It

just licks the toe of Dier as he closes. Bentaleb. Moved on by

Eriksen. In this great competition, four times, Leicester have made the

final and been beaten. A break out wide to Simpson. In what frame of

mind would he have been in in the build-up comedy wasn't even in the

match day squad, Simpson, and suddenly, he's playing because of

the warm up injury to Ritchie De Laet. The referee had to be

consulted about that. He would have prepared before the match, they have

the pre-match meal but once the team has announced that he isn't on the

bench he might go off, she might eat some chocolate, your mind is not on

the match. You're not eating the right things, probably. He's got to

get himself right, get up to speed quickly, get right in the warm up so

it can be tough, yes. Eriksen. He scored a great goal here last

season, a wonderful free kick off target. On that occasion. But he's

rediscovered his form, three goals in three, had not scored in 15

before that. Certainly got the ability. We expect more from him

sometimes, Eriksen, ghosting in. Two Leicester players throwing

themselves at it, Leicester City, this season, particularly with Huth,

excellent when they get into defending situations. May be Simpson

had some chocolate, in the pomp of Worthington if

players have found that they were not in the side they would take a

square of the old Cadbury 's dairy milk! There is Ritchie De Laet.

Davies has played the same number of games.

Healthy competition on the left side. Or is that a problem for

Spurs? The manager isn't convinced by either what do you think? I think

he feels he has two good left-backs and two good right-backs as well.

Interesting to see if they progress during this competition. If they get

to a semifinal or a final, the player wants to be left out. -- no

player wants to be left out. He is certainly creating something special

at Tottenham Hotspur. I have watched them closely in the commentary

capacity since the mid-80s, and I think this is a very strong tartan

setup, all the way through -- a strong tartan setup. -- Tottenham.

He looks to commit players. It is quite a rarity in the modern game.

Ben Chilwell loves to defend. He loves a tackle. Takes no chances.

Was that offside? Pochettino has coached at ten of England's last 17

debut boys. Good defending. Ulloa ended up a

bit isolated. But there is real pace in this letter site. If he does have

three or four touches on the ball, the pace of this Leicester side

could build. Both sides seem to be active at the moment on the transfer

front. Spurs have been interested in the

teenager James Madison. And the first yellow card of the evening is

for Spurs' Ben Davies. Excellent run from Dyer. A clear pull-back from

Davies. The assistant was on the near side. Easy decision for the

referee. A brilliant ball from Gray. Good

defending from Davies. I am looking forward to seeing

Kasper Schmeichel released the ball. Yes, that is one of his strengths.

Leicester have been in seven semifinals. Developing good, young

players and maintaining the form they created last season. There was

a lovely quote yesterday - I want to be the crazy man. You can't

underestimate the impact that Nigel Pearson has on this side. He did a

great job here. Claudio Ranieri has taken it on and got them to heights

that we never expected them to get to. It is excellent to see them in

the position they are in in the Premier League. A very amiable chap,

the Leicester manager. But if you ask even a half awkward question in

an interview that he doesn't like, there is a Clinton in his eyes -- a

glint in his eyes. No communication between Benalouane

and Wasilewski. He could have taken his time. Good movement, though.

Good play from Tottenham. Difficult strike to take on for Ben

Davies. But well worked from Tottenham. Two years since he last

scored. Liverpool lead Exeter 1-0. Joe Allen

has got that goal. You will see it at half-time. The exasperation!

He is really highly regarded on the European coaching scene. 64 now,

Leicester's 10th manager in eight years. He has been coaching for a

long time. This is his 14th job. And he doesn't look a day older than

when he was last in the Premier League with Chelsea. A lot of

managers, it is a stressful job, and they seem to age quickly, but not

Ranieri. He was successful in his last international stint.

Well done. Good position that Son had taken up, but Gray was alert.

Leicester are the kilograms of the two teams so far. -- and they are

the cagier of the two teams. Carroll protests his innocence. What

a confident run that was. Excellent run. He got his first touch wrong. I

think he got his head up and recognise that he didn't have any

support. This is a big chance here. Spurs are happy the free kick was

given. Inler has been something of a

talisman for Leicester when he has had a rare outing. Stretch at Vorm.

Vorm seems to leave a lot of space to his right hand side. He didn't

have to do too much. He was in a good position. There was a massive

space for Inler to go out. -- at. Son looks a lot more lively tonight.

He is picking the ball in positions where he feels comfortable. He has

certainly had an impact on this game.

Spurs followers have come by motorway and the quick train link.

3500 Spurs fans, and I gather tickets were fairly cheap as well.

Well done to Leicester for doing that. Good club, this. It is a great

atmosphere. Every time you come to the King Power Stadium, so good.

Leicester have had all sorts of troubles and have come through and

really illuminated this season. Ben Chilwell felt as if he could

have cut the initial pass played out to Walker. England under 18, 90 and

20 international. Very impressive. Good pressure on him from Andy King.

Andy King is the first to react. He started the first three games

this season. He has only started seven since those games, including

this one. Matty James has been out all season after a cruciate knee

ligament injury at the tail end of the last campaign against

Southampton, I think. With ceremony changes, -- some any

changes, the game is lacking the normal rhythm that these two sides

would produce. I would agree with that. Neither

side is really able to exert themselves on each other yet.

Walker has stayed out wide. He could have gone into that gap, but chose

not to. A very useful Spurs youngster on the

bench in Harry Winks. We will see if he gets the chance to come on. Not

the highest tempo to a cup tie. It is following the same sort of

pattern to the first game. When Leicester do win the ball back, they

are giving it to Tottenham. Tottenham are dominating possession.

Ulloa has scored in every cup tie he has played, bar a couple.

That was a good ball. Good run down the left from Ben Davies initially.

Putting the ball into a tough area. Well done to Lamela as well to try

to get on the end of it, just couldn't quite get over it. Decent

chance, though, for Tottenham. That was a different sort of cross

from Davies. Carroll scored a stunner against

Norwich on Boxing Day. Again, Leicester quite content to drop

deep. Certainly looking very much like a 4-5-1 system. Never really

going to trouble Schmeichel from there. It has been quite comfortable

for Leicester, for all the possession that Tottenham have had.

I would encourage anyone to hold the video -- get hold of the video of

that 1961 final. The pace is a lot slower. But the quality of the

Leicester players is high. Wonderful footballers. I know they are not on

the games machines that the youth of today play, but great legends of the

sport. It is a club with great history. Leicester had a fair few

legends. Eight minutes to go to half-time. I

wish I could say it has been wonderfully exciting, it hasn't. But

we have to have a winner. Drinkwater turned the wrong way

there. Full is the own, that is a stunner! What a way to break the

deadlock in the 39th minute! Well, the young full-back stood there, and

Son made him pay. A cracking opening goal. It is a brilliant goal. He has

been Tottenham's best player in this first half, Son. He just shifts it

creates a bit of space for himself, Andrew is it beyond Schmeichel. --

and drills it beyond Schmeichel. Tottenham have had a lot of

possession. First time they have really been able to penetrate.

Shifts the ball to his right foot. Chill wearer is not close enough.

That is a brilliant strike from Son. Goes beyond Schmeichel before he can

react. It is a brilliant finish. Started so well in a Tottenham

shirt. It is not his first fantastic goal this season. He is capable of

extraordinary goals, and that extraordinary goal has livened up an

ordinary tie. We needed it, didn't we? Brilliant goal. And I think he

relishes coming from a wider position or a deep opposition. --

deeper position. Well, 54 goals in 186 career games.

Went from FC Seoul to Hamburg and then onto Bayer Leverkusen.

That was a good run from Drinkwater to get beyond Ulloa.

Bodies in the middle. Ulloa had a couple against Tottenham in the

past. Won a major cup competition in South America, the South American

cup, when he was with Arsenal. Son just gave himself an extra yard

by rolling the ball out wide. It is a lesson for chill well. You can't

give players any extra space. -- a lesson for Ben Chilwell.

He has been very impressive so far. Good defending. A positive run by

Demarai Gray, attempting to drill it across the six yard box. Only 43

minutes since Leicester City had their first corner. One effort on

target which was saved, comfortably. Gray will take it. Wasilewski

arrives, you scored at White Hart Lane. -- he scored. Chadli again

battling for it. Thought about the overhead and will probably think

twice. The combination almost worked from the set play. It worked so well

at White Hart Lane, Gray in two Wasilewski. Better defending from

Tottenham, getting back into position.

At this stage of his career, he needs regular football. Rumours are

linking him with a move back to Italy. Chadli. The keeper putting it

away, no chance with that shot. You can look at Kasper Schmeichel,

beaten at the near post, I don't think he could have done a thing

about the strike. Walker with the cross, Chadli arriving. Good

defending from Simpson, got his body in front of Chadli. You can see

Chadli on the outside of him, she gets across, he's always got his

body open, he can see Chadli coming in and allows it to run across on

his inside, good defending from Simpson. Missed out, in round three

just once in the last four seasons, they have only won one in the last

seven all Premier League ties. One minute of stoppage time being

played. Tom Carroll. Could not get a pass cleanly away. Needed an ad

ball, did not have anyone showing for him. Here is Son. Nimbly done,

going on, this is good. Very nearly very good. Another good run from

Son. A real bright spark in this first half for Tottenham.

The corner. Looking for Wimmer. And there is the scored as the half-time

whistle blows. -- there is the player who scored. His goal

separates the teams. Super for them, although Leicester City have been

better so far, Spurs lead. Tottenham are leading at half-time,

1-0, against Leicester City, both these teams have made a lot of

changes and at times it should, Martin. I watched this first half

ten days ago at White Hart Lane, exactly the same! What has happened,

I was looking forward to watching Leicester play at home, they played

away at White Hart Lane and I felt they had to drop back. They've done

exactly the same, surrendered possession, surrendered ground to

Spurs. Spurs playing away from home, the first 15 minutes of a cup tie,

you think Leicester might get at them... You might think they'd been

on the chocolate! Your two main creative players have two big

distances to go, I'm talking about Nathan Dyer, and I'm talking about

Gray. You cannot play that ball long to a player who isn't getting enough

support comedies going to give it away and he's going to not outrun

people so you need both your wide players further the pitch. From

Tottenham 's point of view they will be more than happy going in at

half-time. They will be comfortable. The easiest 45 minutes they will

have all season because there is no threat in behind. To be fair, they

could have been more clinical in the final third although they eventually

got the goal that I feel they deserved. Your overall impressions,

Ian? I tipped Leicester because I thought about and they would come in

with great energy. Without body and Mahrez they haven't got the energy

you need. Like Martin said, Ulloa comedies pulling over to the left,

the wide men could come in and feed of him and it isn't happening. It's

been easy for Spurs because they've taken the ball from him in that area

where they can get straight back in. No question what the highlight of

the first half was, there was only one, the goal from Son. A good

finish. The first bit of quality Spurs put together, as you mentioned

before the game finished, Son has been the bright spark for Spurs.

When he picked it up it was nice to see them finally shifting ad.

There's been too much dilly-dallying around that box. As soon as he faces

him, he moves, his opponent didn't want to get too close. He is a very

fine player, a band coming, use got to get closer, if you have to get

closer. He had that welcome to be fair. It's got a speculatively shot.

That's about the best chance they've had. Leicester without a star, they

Gray. I think we're going to swap, with Ulloa, he needs to be further

up, in the centre, he's trying to play into Gray, it has not worked

and Spurs are back on the attack. He needs to be more central. Look where

Drinkwater is. Look where Demarai Gray is. No one is running beyond

him. It is very tough for Leicester at the minute. Where is he going? Is

crowded out. Leicester are desperate for a runner. Even Kante would make

a huge difference, raking that Spurs defensive line. They will not get

out, playing this way. We are seeing a very different Leicester to the

team we've seen all season in the league, Martin. The importance of

your very fine players in this site, Mahrez, who gives you a wee bit of

creativity and Jamie Mahdi, a phenomenal outlet, a really great

outlet, -- Jamie Vardy, you can defend when you've got Jamie Vardy

in the side because he will outrun defenders and he'll bring you

further up the pitch. When you don't have in on the side come you are

struggling. If there has been a bright spot for Leicester it has

probably been the performance of Demarai Gray. A fine player. Really

nice player, they've gotten from Birmingham, if the fee is the fee

they mention I think he will be great value. I saw him several times

playing for Birmingham last year. He's still got plenty to learn about

the game but he's a really exciting young talent. The one player who has

enabled them to get up the park because he holds onto the ball. He

always seems willing to hold on to it for longer and do something

creative. For Leicester in the first half he was the go to man. Just not

often enough to get the ball to him. Leicester's excellent scouting

system! And he doesn't mind going the other way, he's tracked him

back. That's good work from him. Not afraid to go the other way. Do you

think that Claudio Ranieri will tinker? As I mentioned, the first

half-year replicated the first half ten days ago. They made a

substitution at half-time. Kante came off, Okazaki came on and gave

them some energy. Leicester City pushed a bit further. Maybe because

they had a bit of hope from getting a late equaliser in the first half

against Tottenham but I think they decided to push up, they got more

men further forward and they caused Spurs problems, so maybe the second

half, at least you can hang onto that. For Spurs, the perfect

scenario would not be to have to bring on those big stars. Rookies

arrested them for a reason, to give them a rest, and see what others can

do. -- he's rested them for a reason. When you dominate so much

you need a goal because Leicester will change in the second half, as

they did at White Hart Lane. I think so. Tottenham haven't done too much

to be in the lead at the moment, because Leicester haven't held onto

the ball. Something 's got to change, otherwise Tottenham will

make a couple more! I am sure it will liven up in the second half. At

pitch side we have a former Leicester favourite and a current

list of favourite. You've been the captain of Leicester, under Martin,

What a season this man has had. 15 goals. Since breaking the record,

scoring in 11 Premier League games. Remarkable he is playing so soon

after surgery. Described it as a minor operation. But again, a decade

ago... Certainly 30 years ago, he would have been out for a long time.

And fans in sports medicine, 1 of the most progressive moves over the

last 2 decades. Players now, we see, hernia operations, back playing

within a couple of weeks. We might see the benefits of Jamie Vardy.

Wasilewski beaten by Kane... The Tottenham striker is knocked over.

Miss judge the bounce. Very brave, Harry Kane. Going in for the

challenge. Wasilewski staying well away. I think he knows. He could get

a yellow card. Anthony Taylor may be keeping well away as well. Grizzly

further forward, receive the past. On the shoulder, perhaps even in

advance of Walker. Massive potential. The youngster.

Leicester fans have had so much joy this season. I think they have had

enough. This is a great stadium. The rugby club is also in the heart of

the city. Dead well, opening things up,

Can Leicester hit the ceiling? Have they had the ceiling? I would not

want to say that, perhaps that is the reason why Ranieri is trying to

wrest Jamie Vardy, trying to keep them fresh, Morgan as well. He knows

it is a big few months for Leicester City. I meet so many neutrals on the

trains, travelling to grounds. What fans genuinely help from different

clubs is that Leicester stay up. Yes, every neutral in the country

want Leicester to do it. It has been a remarkable story. 2015. I think

most neutrals will applaud the quality of his golf. Such strike,

such venomous power. A brilliant night.

That is why they signed him in the summer. Linked with Saido Berahino,

that did not come off, of course. Delie Alli comes on, what a young

talent he is! Onomah, trying to get the free kick,

need a flash of magic. A good break from Albrighton, good

par-macro, it is about progression. It is about trying to gain

in the 2nd half, Tottenham have been able to filter back into the wrong

Tired legs and minds out there. I was at Villa Park where Leicester

would as appointing, there are signs that the season is catching up for

It has been a wonderful season for Leicester. That will be a crumb of

comfort if the peter out. Kane. Expectation levels of Spurs are very

high. The amount of games could be key, they are a small squad, they

don't have as much depth, 16 games to go now, 16 cup finals in many

respects for Leicester until the end of the season. Some of those players

are looking at close to 60 games in this season. Two minutes of stoppage

And Tottenham go through to the fourth round of the FA Cup. They

have beaten Leicester City 2-0. Another hiccup for Leicester City.

Another doldrums day. Spurs celebrate a first goal by Son, a

stunning effort. Scored one, made one, lovely ball to Chadli to make

it two goals, worthy winners. Ridge definitely. But dominant display.

They were the better side. 2-mac they thoroughly deserved the

victory. They had more of the ball, they had the goals, and it is

Mauricio Pochettino's team that go through. Leicester City have some

thinking to do. To have beaten Leicester 2-0.

Tottenham will go into the fourth round and will travel to Colchester.

It didn't quite happen for Leicester, not enough strength and

depth compared with Tottenham, both side made changes in the game,

Tottenham came out comfortable winners, Martin O'Neill. Too easy

for them, too comfortable, as you say. A blip in an otherwise

brilliant season for Leicester, although I admit the manner of the

exit has been disappointing. Momentum is important and that kind

of thing can have a negative effect perhaps on their league form. It

could do, you would hope not for the sake of both teams Camille hit the

nail on the head, when they both made changes, Spurs have that

strength and depth, the front four they started with, Lamela, Eriksen,

Chadli, you would start them in the Premier League every week, Leicester

don't have that strength and depth. Ian? They didn't have to do too much

to beat a Leicester side that really struggled. I thought the first half

performance: not being able to get out, Wimmer, Eric Dier, nothing much

to do. Okazaki, when he came on, made a bit of a move, in the end, it

was very comfortable like Martin said for Tottenham. When the second

goal went in, Jermaine, that was it pretty much. Claudio Ranieri could

not really make changes after that. Son was brilliant all day and when

he slipped that want to Chadli, you could back on him, Chadli is very

calm in front of goal,. And Eriksen, so sharp when he came alive, the

ball into Kane, and instantly into Son, that was a good finish. That

was what was missing in the first half, that sharpness. Clinical. They

pretty much but the game to bed at that point. We can hear from some of

the Tottenham heroes. With me Kyle Walker and Christian Eriksen, world,

you are into the fourth round of the FA Cup, a dominant performance.

Leicester have been good this season, we've played them twice

before this. The boys did fantastic especially in the first half, I'm

happy for everyone. Christian, did that go to the game plan? Yes, we

did a lot of ball possession and we had it, I think we were a bit more

dangerous and attacking so we did well. A goal for Son Heung-min, and

an assist tonight, I understand he them off with a bit of an injury,

how instrumental was he? Obvious qualities, very good on the ball,

got a good shot on him and an eye on the pass. Son's has been doing

fantastic in training and did it on the pitch tonight. Into round four

of the FA Cup, how far can this Spurs team go? I think we will see.

We won round further and we know what to expect, everyone knows it

will be really hard in the next game, we're playing in every

competition and we want win everything, that will be hard. Thank

do you think of this site? Generally they are involved in every

competition and they seem to take them all seriously in spite of

making changes, Jermaine said they have four players upfront that could

make anyone's first team. Their position in the league, they will be

desperate to finish in the top four. They may even think they have a

chance of winning the championship. I think they are doing really fine

indeed. They've got some good players, yet sometimes when you feel

as if they have nailed it, absolutely cracked it, they lose a

game. They lost to Leicester. There is a sense of opinion out there that

says that they are not as fragile as they once were, there is more meat

on this team. That's still got to be proved. Used to mention about the

World Cup taking place and for instance, you always feel about

Spurs, up there, and there, finishing fifth. This time, it looks

a bit different. They do have the talent, let me put it this way, to

go through, they just need that drive and it looks like it is

coming. A lot of good players and the pick of them was Son. Let's

review his performance. You mentioned it, Gary, he really was

the bright spot for Spurs tonight, a lot of their play was pedestrian,

every time it went to Son the game came alive. He's always looking

forward, this is late doors in the second half, Chilwell backs off and

backs off and is lucky to get the block on there because just before

that he had stuck one away. His awareness around the box, making

things happen was exceptional tonight, I think Walker made

reference to him having that type of pass in the locker, they work with

him we can, week out in training. It was his goal. It is quality goal, we

saw Chilwell, couple of occasions where you don't back off and at some

stage you will have to get closer to people, the players playing against

him, and get some challenges in, you can take nothing away from Son, he's

moved really quickly and done really well. They've got plenty of options,

Tottenham. Upfront, Harry Kane, that is probably the one position where

they were short. The main position. That is why they are trying to

address that, talking about making a signing in the window, but when you

look at Tottenham and the spine they've got with Hugo Lloris, Toby

Alderweireld, Mr Dembele, Harry Kane, that spine is pretty good.

Flesh that out with the other players and you are looking at

Tottenham team where you can say that looks solid. Who would they

bring in as the second striker to Harry Kane? Realistically he must be

able to sit on the bench and come on and have an impact, you need that

type of player who is willing to do that. Blount as for Leicester,

defeat, Martin, although a bit improved in the second half. Wrote a

bit of improvement because of the substitution coming on, Okazaki

giving them more impetus and a bit more enthusiasm, a bit more drive.

And getting them a bit further up the field. The most important thing

at this stage is that if he comes on to make that impact you have to try

to make it count. And just when they were getting into the game Spurs

scored the second goal and killed off that enthusiasm. He's constantly

chasing, Harry in the opponents. Look at the way Ulloa played today,

hardly contributed anything. The way that Okazaki came on and really put

the Tottenham defender is under pressure and made them rush, things

happened for them,. There was a time when you thought

Leicester could put on pressure. It didn't happen. It's been a great,

great season. They will be disappointed with the manner in

which they have gone out that they have big things to look forward to.

Given the nature of Leicester's squad and that they don't have the

strength and depth that Spurs have, is this perhaps not a bad thing that

they are out of the FA Cup? Put it this way, they will get over it

quickly. Very quickly indeed, in about 15 minutes.

LAUGHTER Disappointment and then let's get

the pizza! Reaction from the managers before we leave you. At

half-time we brought you what happened in the replay last night

between Bolton and non-league Eastleigh. The best of the action

from the other seven matches. Leave to Portsmouth pulled off a shock

against Championship high-flyers Ipswich Town on a cold Tuesday night

at Fratton Park. Roberts opened the scoring against his former club,

converting a penalty after he was brought down. Mark McNulty then

extended Portsmouth's lead heading in a great cross from Gareth Evans.

Ainsley Maitland miles put in this beauty to try to spark a second-half

revival but Ipswich's hopes extinguished when one man was sent

off for a second yellow card. Portsmouth face neighbours

Bournemouth in the fourth round. Possession once again. It goes out

to the right, it's a clean header, and it's Clark, the Irish defender,

scoring for Aston Villa. Villa looking for the second goal. That

would put it to bed! It is 2-0, in favour of Aston Villa. There was a

humdinger of a tie at the Madejski Stadium as Reading came back to beat

Huddersfield Town. The visitors raced to a 2-0 lead. The Terriers

had the advantage but the game changed when John Hogg is

Huddersfield was dismissed for bringing down his opponent. Reading

slotted home the resulting free kick. Reading made the most of their

one-man advantage with that on loan Watford striker completing a

second-half hat-trick. Before the strike from Alex Fernandez made it

five for the Royals. Reading and now face Walsall in the fourth round.

Dawson, for West Bromwich. And is this the moment? It certainly is!

The breakthrough in this third-round replay.

Bradford and Bury played out a goalless draw at Valley Parade,

despite the visitors being reduced to ten men early on. It all came

down to penalties. The Bunny Makro Keble was the hero, saving from two

attempts. Kevin Dick Ellis sealed victory for the visitors. Very Makro

are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup. MK Dons guaranteed a

money spinning home fourth-round tie against Chelsea with a comfortable

victory over neighbours Northampton. They opened the scoring from the

spot. Half-time substitute Murphy made it two goals for the home side

before Northampton keeper Smith committed a foul in the box, the

resulting penalty from Simon Church sealed the victory. Carlisle ensured

a 660 mile round trip to face Yeovil in a bad-tempered game. It was the

home side who took a first half lead through Jack Compton. The visitors

even things up when Sweeney bundled in a header that sparked and ugly

brawl in which both sides were lucky not to see players dismissed. The

former Carlisle striker then missed the chance to win it for Yeovil from

a penalty in the last minute of normal time. Each side had one man

sent off in extra time but the score remained the same and it came down

to spot kicks with both teams converting their first four, this

you'll fill player saw his effort pushed on to the post by Gillespie,

leaving Ellis to slot his kick home and secure Carlisle and the home tie

against Everton in the next round. Some big games last might here at
