It is a great time to be a fan of either club... Or even both. With a

new man at the helm they have made a fantastic start. Lamela, surely it

season made in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup. They have faced

each other 11 times already in this competition, including the 1961

final when Spurs became the first club to do the double in the 20th

century. They met last season, one round later, when Leicester had a

last-gasp winner. And here to enjoy it all, Peter Crouch, Martin O'Neil

and Alan Shearer. Welcome, Peter, you played in the third round

yesterday. Rare start this season. Oliva it was nice to get a game

finally and also the goal as well. Obviously the cup competition these

days there are lots of changes and I was one of those so very pleased to

have been noting their improvement and doing well under Pochettino. As

soon as the manager has come in he has his ideas, high pressing, lots

of young players and they are revitalised and he seems to have got

them playing really well. They have a serious chance of making the top

four and going far in this competition. As for Leicester, not

since your days have they been so impressive, comparisons being made

to your side. Unfavourably... They are doing brilliantly. Phenomenal

year, if you think even about the calendar year. Since February time

they have been cessation -- sensational. Very young Savage.

Really great days. What have you been impressed with most about this

particular run was Jim Mark 's I think when they started off, --

particular run?. The first thing you are thinking about is something will

stop, momentum will be lost. Actually quite the opposite, they

have gone from strength to strength, Vardy has been magnificent, Mahrez,

Kante has done wonderfully well. The rest of the players have risen to

the occasion. Some players who struggled previous years have

suddenly looked through it. Two of the sides of the season. Both of

them every brilliant, Leicester could not have gone any better,

nobody expected them to be where they are. Nobody expected them to

produce the trouble they have done. As Tottenham used to be known as a

cut side, but 25 years was the last FA Cup win. 91. I remember it well.

They are at a crossroads, under Daniel Leavey they have always sold

their best players but now they have a big decision to make particularly

with the new stadium. Keep this site together and add some youngsters, --

keep this site. I think they can take on the big boys. Does he keep

hold of them? Why would he want to sell them? But why do the same with

masticating frantically in the studio with these sides. Lots of

over Christmas but sometimes do you not feel they lose momentum? Bell I

can only speak from experience, I used to hate being left out of a

side. I wanted to play every single game. I could understand it for the

teams that have been in Europe, playing for four or five months,

Saturday, Wednesday or Thursday. But for the likes of Leicester, out of

the Capital One Cup, yes they are going well in the league, they could

do well in this competition. I know they're are midweek games this week

also bird in about 47 games if Leicester are successful in this

competition this year, 38 in the league, two or three in the Capital

One Cup and the rest in this competition, I do not think that is

too much to ask of a player. From the manager 's perspective, Martin,

what do you think about this Boshoff link? I would not disagree with

Alan. This has been a fantastic season so far for Leicester City.

They can keep the momentum going. -- what you think about this shuffling?

In terms of them playing the supposedly weaker side, there is no

reason. As you say, Tottenham Hotspur are in Europe, they have had

a lot of games. I saw Tottenham Hotspur player against Watford ten

or 12 days ago and there are five or six or seven of these players who

played their so there is an excuse for them but Leicester should just

be pushing on. For the likes of yourself, Peter, you would not get a

game otherwise. You are getting them in already. It is coming off the

back of the Christmas period with so many games. Certainly for Stoke we

have got a lot of players new to the league, they have a break at

Christmas time. They are not used to this amount of games. With the FA

Cup fixture coming just after those considered as a chance to rest those

powers who maybe are not used to the demanding fixture schedule around

Christmas. -- those players. There is one or two players who have not

been playing regularly and who might be knocking on the manager 's door.

This is an opportunity for the manager to give them a chance. As

with Peter yesterday and his brilliant goal... There you go.

Claudio Ranieri is with Gabby Logan. You have made eight changes to your

starting line-up, they are going to start calling you the Tinker man

again. Yes, we played three matches in six days, it is not possible for

us at the moment to play every match at a high level but also I want to

build a very good team. And my job here at Leicester, it is important

for me to understand who are the players who can continue with us.

And all of the players deserve to play. And this evening they have the

chance to show me. You have so many goals in the first half from Mahrez

and Vardy, where will they come from in this line-up? There are some good

players, the lower was our striker last season -- Ulloa. But also the

midfielder can score goals. And why not the defenders, set plays? It is

exciting to see your new signing, Demarai Gray, we hear great things

of. Obviously you are confident he can cut it at this level? Yes I am

very confident, it is his first match with us. He has just made if

you training sessions but I hope he can show his quality. Tell us a

little bit about what the FA Cup means to you. For Chelsea you took

them to the final in your previous time, losing the final of course.

What do you think it would mean to the people of Leicester? 12 course I

think it would be fantastic. Like the start of the season for us.

Wembley is Wembley. When I achieved the final it was in Cardiff because

Wembley was being refurbished. And we hope tonight is a very difficult

match but we are ready to fight. Great impact he has had Leicester,

particularly difficult because of the way they finished last season

under a different manager. Yes. They have got a bit of momentum going

towards the back end of the season. The manager leaves, possibly under

difficult circumstances, new manager comes in, does not matter who it is

but then you thought that maybe Ranieri had been out of the game for

a little while, managing at international level, maybe might

have found it difficult. What he has not done is what he was renowned

for, tinkering. He has decided to go for this, the improvements in some

of the players have been remarkable and also they have actually brought

in some players as well, Kante in particular has been excellent. So he

has kept things going. The players have gone with him. For want of a

better word. He has rolled with it. He has been fantastic. Can same

particular has caught the eye among those who are starting today. Most

interceptions, most tackles of any Premier League player this season.

?5.5 million, he has been a revelation. The guys in the hotel

last night, what they said to me was they have very rarely see anybody

who is as fit as him. Extraordinary. Running all day, some engine on him,

can sit and protect the back four, can also run with the ball as we are

seeing. It goes to show, if you look hard enough they are out there,

they'd credit to Leicester. -- great credit. And also for giving him the

opportunity, he might not have got that opportunity at a so-called

bigger club but he has been fantastic, the foundation. The guys

in front of them like Mahrez and Vardy, go and do your stuff and I

will give you some pretentious. He has been superb. Have Leicester

impressed you? They have been a pressure breath of fresh. Not

frightened to take on the big teams, go and attack and win games. Like

you say some of the players, Mahrez and Vardy especially, but Kante as

well. They have certainly spent their money wisely, Demarai Gray

signed last week from Birmingham City, do you know much about him? I

have seen Birmingham City play a number of times, he has got

brilliant feat, absolutely brilliant feat. I saw him a year ago for the

very first time and I have been really impressed. If they have got

him for the price they are talking about, about 3.7 million, I will

honestly say, I know he has the prove himself in the Premier League,

but he will be an absolute bargain. Didn't Bournemouth have a bid of ?5

million one year ago? Turns down? I think we are obviously showing his

goals. But I think that is the one thing that he will grow into and

learn to cope with, yes, he is quick, he can run in behind but the

one thing he has the improve on, one of the things, his goal-scoring. But

loads of potential. And not just running in behind plays, sometimes

you think it is a euphemism for somebody not being very good on the

ball. He is brilliant, he has really good feet. Gaby is with another FA

Cup winner and Leicester favourite. Leicester legend I thought you were

going to say. Emile, 40 goals for Leicester and FA Cup winner with

Liverpool, what do you make of this compared to your day? Let's just say

they are doing fantastic. Any of these fans were not have thought

they would be top of the league at Christmas. They have been riding the

moment of last season. The manager has made if you two weeks to make

them more interesting side. They have surprised a lot of people and

build on what they did last season. Are you surprised at how many

changes Ranieri has made, as a player you just want to be part of

these occasions? Definitely when you are riding the momentum you do not

want to be out of the team. You want to play every single minute. He has

obviously looked at the momentum, looked at how many games they have,

another one on Wednesday, probably thinking maybe to make a couple of

changes and give the fringe players a chance. Some new players coming

in. It is their time to take that chance. In the studio they were

talking about great, you are still plying your trade but you played

about him last season that 20 bed against him last season. You have to

keep your eyes on him. -- talking about Demarai Gray, you played

against him last season. He is quick and strong on the ball and

everything is going forward. Very quick, heart or head? Heart,

Liverpool... Leicester, sorry! You through me there. I think he threw

us all. I think Emile Heskey, significant player for you. I

inherited him as an aid senior old, he was fantastic. Then -- as an 18

new old. Then I brought in to Aston Villa, against Crystal Palace we had

a bit of an argument at half-time. -- 18-year-old. I thought I was in

the right... As always. As it turns out, it was the first time I backed

down. Let's hear from the Tottenham manager. In your programme notes you

said your first 45 minutes against Everton was the best you had seen

from this group of players. How frustrating that you had to make

seven changes to your starting line-up. Always for me football is

about the collective, the team. I think we can repeat the same

performance we had against Everton. And you know, the competition is

tough, the season is very tough. The FA Cup now, Premier League, you run

the league. Always it is important and we have a true when the squad.

It is not important, the selection, it is important how we play and the

spirit we have in the team is the most important thing. I think that

we are very confident that we can do very well today. A lot of neutrals

and England fans will have been excited about the danger of seeing

the great English, nation of Kane and Alli, obviously they are not

starting. -- combination. But you are a fan of bringing through

English talent. I think it is a very good thing for the young talent, the

English players, we are very kind to give them opportunities, they

deserve to play. I think in the last few weeks they have shown a very

good complicity on the pitch. We hope that for the future of the team

and the club it follows the same direction. But I think that the most

important thing, we fill all very proud for our team, our squad, we

have a very strong squad. -- we feel. It is a good time for

Tottenham. He has had quite an impact at Tottenham, Peter.

Incredible impact. Fantastic job at Southampton, he has come here and

has done the same thing. High press, bringing through young players, not

afraid to play them. They get the benefit. He has the confidence in

the young guys. Defensively in particular he has made a real

difference, some of this the district make good reading. I used

to think I would be all right against Spurs because sometimes they

have been a soft touch over the years. But under this guy they are

different. He has a solid back four, he has the non-believable goalkeeper

who he can rely on. He has built a solid foundation for youngsters in

front. -- he has an unbelievable goalkeeper. He has them very well

organised, he has a way of playing. He does, yes. When you look at

Tottenham you do not think there is a great deal of width, it comes from

the full-backs. Certainly against Watford, they had the same two,

Trippier and Danny Rose. They condensed themselves. But on that

day came played up front, he is an excellent player. Pochettino might

not have fancied him early on but now he is the main guy. And also I

think things have improved, his English is getting much better and I

think that is important. We might have a joke but in the dressing room

he is getting his point across pretty well. He is on the bench

today but I am a massive fan of Harry Kane. I know I said earlier

about Daniel Leavey keeping hold of his best as, if I was an owner or

chairman I would be telling them to go and get Harry Kane. The quiet! He

is the real deal. He has also bought through a lot of young English

press, encouraging for the national side. You look at Dele Alli, he

looks like a real player, he is on the bench as well. Harry Kane like

Alan says, he has been incredible. And I think you wonder if he gets an

injury or something happens where Tottenham would be. Who is going to

win? Tottenham. I think it will be a draw. Tottenham. We shall see. They

have met 11 times in the FA Cup, 41 goals in those games, you know what

that means... Nil nil. Let's join Kevin Kilbane and Jonathan Pearce.

have already heard about? I think there is no Jamie Vardy today so

this man Leonardo Ulloa up front, really looking or him to make an

impact. Five in his last five FA Cup matches. I am looking for him to

make an impact. Kasper Schmeichel, whose dad had such a history in

this, edition. Robert madly the referee. There is no Harry Kane, the

responsibility for Sunil, who has played through the middle in

Germany. -- Robert madly. We are looking forward to seeing how Sunil

can adapt to playing this role up front. Can he be a constant thread

like Harry Kane has been this season? -- Son. Leicester City

kicking away from their big travelling support to the left-hand

side of your screen. Tottenham have lost twice in third round matches in

the last decade. They have not lost here in the third round since 1992.

When Aston Villa were the winners in a replay. Spurs starting as

favourites I guess because they have the strongest squad. I think that is

the case as well. On paper you probably think they have more

experience, but as we have seen with Leicester this season, very

unpredictable at times. I think they will cause the Tottenham defence,

untried defence today, can they cause them problems? Has done a good

job for Tottenham and England, Pochettino, nine of the last 17

England dividends had been coached by that man either at Southampton or

here. Rose forces the ball out of play, throwing to Leicester City. --

throw in. De Laet one of the many Leicester squad players with a

connection to Manchester United. Alderweireld, who has made such a

difference to the Spurs defence. Early feel of the ball for Michel

with them. Normally they would look for Vardy, who is not here today by

the way. The cross shot from Demarai Gray went wide. You are excited

about seeing him in the Premier League. Confident start, I can only

echo what Martin O'Neill said, he is a real talent. I saw him play at the

Dell last month, he has great feet and -- at Deepdale. I think

Leicester have got a bargain. Spurs playing out, Trippier towards

another exciting youngster, one. Demarai Gray only 19 years of age,

England youth international. Family routes from Jamaica, I believe. He

has played in the cup a couple of times for Birmingham City.

With the signing of Gray and the summer signing of Gokhan Inler,

Ranieri making his own statement about a club that he has largely

left alone. And building on the success of Nigel Pearson. You have

to give him credit for that. Sometimes managers come in and they

want to bring in a lot of new signings but he recognises the

strength that is in the squad and he let them go out and continue while

they have done from last season. Lots of credit of course goes to

Nigel Pearson. Is it then ultimately all about the players and not the

managers... That is a debate for another day, JP. I guess you would

say the players, wouldn't you? Harry Redknapp always used to say, however

good a manager you are, you cannot do anything without the players. I

think that is the case, we see it in the Premier League year upon year,

the teams that spend the most money in very win the Premier League. Eric

Dier through to the England senior squad this year, pinging it out

wide. 22 on Friday. Harry Kane there. The boys in the studio

talking about Pochettino maybe not fancying him when he first came.

That is absolutely true. He had to wait for his chance at the start of

last season but once he came in the goals have just flown. He scored a

hat-trick against Leicester here last season. He had to take his time

before he really established himself getting regular starts. Alan Shearer

knows a striker. He has proven now what a top-class player he is.

Looked a little bit shaky against Arsenal in the League Cup back in

September in his last appearance. Difficult for cover goalkeepers

because there is no reserve team football these days. The U21 level

is questionable. Is it rather strange for you that

Swansea let Eric Dier go out? I think you can see if you players who

have been let go and sold. I think he was Villa through and through,

wasn't he? Eric Dier has been a revelation. He

keeps it simple, gets the ball. A lovely ball, that. A couple of

excellent foreword passes from Wimmer. Needs to improve and

communicate about Danny Rose is making that forward run.

I think Spurs need centre-half cover. And you have two quality

players in for Tottenham and it will be difficult for them to get into

the side but they want to play and that is the ultimate thing.

Alderweireld played so well last season. He has been paired with

Onomah to such great effect. A lovely touch off. The golden eagle

-- the goalkeeper could only parry the first away. Only eight minutes

and it is topped one, Leicester City mill. -- Tottenham one, Leicester

City zero. It wasn't a really strong strike. He parried back into the

danger zone. Again, the attack starts from Wimmer. Good forward

movement, good strike across. I think you can do better. Not a

poorly hit strike, as well. Credit to Christian Eriksen who follows up

really well. I think that is where the Leicester feel he could have

done better. Christian Eriksen scored a cracking goal at Leicester

last season. It is his first anywhere since October and Kasper

Schmeichel may look back on that and think he should have done better.

Christian Eriksen finished it well. He was calm. As a goalkeeper, he

would want to have parried away. Get on my Son.

They have only lost once in their last 14 games. They are a more

durable side. They have the flair in the likes of Christian Eriksen and

they have the sort of mix to suggest we could be watching potential FA

Cup winners here. Yes, of course. I agree. I think they have the best

defence in the Premier League this season and that has been the

foundation for them to build on and they have a little bit of quality up

front and a little bit of creativity. Alli has added so much

to the side as well. Helped by Wimmer. Marcin Wasilewski

unimpressed. A 35-year-old Polish veteran. Went through his Mander.

Didn't quite get hold of the ball. A clear foul. Can't get to fit on the

ball. -- can't get a foot on the ball.

A dilemma for Ranieri as Leicester candle on to finish certainly top

six. Now they have reached that Champagne moment of 40 points, but

equally they have the ability to go along way in this competition. Yes,

that is the thing. They probably see the Premier League as the priority

because there is a real chance and a real opportunity here. Can they get

a result and then continue on and do well in the FA Cup and the Premier

League? What a statement that would be. Trippier, a signing from

Burnley, where he did so well. A lot of talented players stepping up

through the leagues and going on into the Premier League. Playing

their full-backs very, very high, which is the Spurs style. Danny Rose

is way down the left-hand touchline. Composer from Eric Dier. They can do

that as well, plus the two full-backs height because both

Wimmer and Alderweireld are very good on the ball.

A big chance for the youngster. Can he established himself? It is a big

transfer him to come and make a statement and shall Ranieri what he

can do. The apprentice is used to have to

paint parts of the stadium. They were then flick the pain down onto

the veterans below. Things have changed. Very much so.

Not necessarily for the better. Average house prices, by the way.

Things have changed. Here is Trippier and Eric Dier. Inler has

been given an opportunity this season. Danny Drinkwater, who is not

in the side, has been excellent. People have talked about Jamie

Vardy. Looking at Leicester here today, it is no different to how

they normally play. They don't enjoy a lot of possession. They like to

sit back and stop -- they like to sit back. Danny Rose stepped in. A

poor downward header and then he cleans his own one out. Terrific

campaigners who came up through the championship last season.

Christian Eriksen who got the first double Tottenham leads. For men in

the way of Kasper Schmeichel. Why did he punched that? Was the ball

wobbling? Alderweireld. Three league titles as

well as the Dutch cup win with kayaks. -- Ajax. I think the

passwords actually aimed at Nacer Chadli on the far side. He got he

had not path give -- he thought he had blocked the path but good

movement from rules. From Danny Rose.

A lovely touch my Son. Lovely balance there. Tax that neatly

untidily away. Excellent from Son. A goal scoring opportunity for Son as

well. Played through the middle when he

was at Hamburg. What a challenge that was from Ritchie De Laet. He

was well-known as a provider of goals. Five international goals this

season. This is the first corner of the game. Where did he come from!

Why did Spurs not pick him up and assist on his debut? A clear goal

for Marcin Wasilewski and Spurs lasted ten minutes. You couldn't

miss him. It was a good finish one seeded free himself up, Marcin

Wasilewski. He gets himself free, gets beyond. I think it is

Alderweireld that is marking him. He just frees himself, nobody on the

far post, nobody protecting the goal and how often do we see that happen?

Good header. That is a fine finish. Poor marking, though. It really was.

You wouldn't argue with him, would you? You wouldn't. We have already

seen a couple of the tackles he has made, character. But Danny Rose is

in support. Better from Kasper Schmeichel that time. Good play from

Son. A comfortable enough save. He had the vision to pick up Christian

Eriksen. Wimmer looks at that diagonal again. It has been a great

start to the game. No different to how Leicester play, though.

Defensively well organised, front to back, difficult to play through and

they get themselves in with a set play. The man who has won a domestic

cup on foreign soil. A Belgian cup winner. Marcin Wasilewski. Leicester

have now scored in their last 12 FA Cup games going back to 2012. Spurs

have won eight of their last nine ties in this condition on this

ground. Here is Trippier. A lovely ball through the edge of the penalty

area. They develop such exciting talent here. Pochettino rightly is

getting the plaudits forgiving these young players opportunity. I think

the Spurs Academy needs great praise with the way they have developed

this talent over the last four or five years. It has not been a

overnight thing. A song on the lips of the fans for

Ranieri. Son is in the middle. Almost fell. Not strong enough in

the first challenge and then he showed his resilience and getting

back. A good performance. He should be stronger there in the challenge.

He gets away with it in the end. That speaks volumes about Leicester

because questions have not been asked of them this season. They have

had a little bit of a blip in recent games but they have answered those

questions by and large. Deflected high but not too high. I

don't think the initial strike was going in. He deflected and actually

helped take them. -- actually helped Andy King.

67% of possession for Tottenham. That is customary for them. Just

shows how much of a threat they are. There is a goal for every week play.

Spurs if fuel is a set piece. -- Spurs Achilles heel is a set piece.

They take pride as a back four and Hugo Lloris has a back four and a

backfire. You can't give gold away like they have done in this game.

Kante involved there and he has been quiet so far. Quick across the land.

A great state initially on the wrong side of the midfield.

You don't often think of the words will away or wiry in my household,

to be honest. Those days are long gone.

Spurs fans raised their eyebrows when I told them Wimmer was playing.

He played earlier in the season in the Capital One Cup against Arsenal.

seen those driving runs. Here he is. From Paris and Mali originally. He

has made more tackles than anyone in the Premier League.

Immensely popular still down in the Brighton area where he played so

well and scored a goal in virtually every other game there. They

questioned his work ethic for Premier League football when he

left. He was well positioned. Good position. Ulloa did not complain too

much. That wasn't much of an appeal, was it? Not really. I think it

actually was a foul initially. I think it was a free kick outside the

area, though. The assistant referees are mutts nearside and he has got to

see the little drag back and it is a foul. No penalty, though.

Both officials had a decent enough view.

He needs to be a bit wary, Wasilewski. Onomah. Eriksen dropped

his shoulder. Onomah. Benalouane came from Atalanta, even

though he started at Saint Etienne in France.

Eriksen. If in doubt, hit it out. Sometimes that is what you need to

do. Looking to make an impact, certainly does not want to make any

mistakes but that it in the stand if necessary and let your side get

reorganised. Spurs have a habit in the last seven or eight years, if

they can get behind the first two hurdles, getting to the semifinal.

Average the last four twice in the last eight years. -- they have

reached. Eriksen has played well in the first

half. A pass aimed at Chadli. He is very isolated, Ulloa, looking for

the diagonal ball from De Laet. Tottenham had enough bodies back on

cover. Decent record against Spurs, Ulloa. Rose. This is promising. In

First goal in the FA Cup from Wasilewski. Just checking, Kevin,

Gary Lineker of course Tottenham and Leicester connections, checking on

his great FA Cup goal-scoring record before I came. Scored once in every

other game, three for Spurs, six for Leicester, brilliant against Arsenal

in the semifinal when Tottenham went through to beat Nottingham Forest in

the final in 91 and reached the final with Everton. He is a man with

goal-scoring pedigree in this competition. Good Everton side as

well that was. Kante. Coming into the game now. Gray. He goes for

gold, deflected off Alderweireld. The first time we have seen Kante

driving forward. We have seen so often this season. Demarai Gray has

settled into the game quite well. Couple of moments, strike in the

first minute of the game. And the assist for the goal. The newcomer.

That is the challenge by Wimmer that look strong, claiming he played the

ball that he seemed to me to come straight through Ulloa. Bobby Madley

is thinking about it. It was a heavy tackle as you say from behind. Given

away by Carroll. It is a heavy challenge on Ulloa.

He did get something of the ball. Ulloa, big and hefty, crashed to the

ground. 37 yards. Gray standing over it, floats it in. Finding only the

hands of Michel Vorm. A quick release. Chilwell gobbles it up.

About one minute of stoppage time I should think.

Maybe a little bit more, there was the booking as well. Trippier.

opportunity here for Tottenham with them being at home, can they push

on. Leicester sitting in quite content again throughout this half,

but they are a threat when they break. Good game so far from the

he gets it away. Excellent from Eric Dier, got his body across Gray.

Ulloa in the middle. Good end to the half from Leicester, on the front

foot, Gray with a couple of runs and that time came giving away from

their debutant, the Mari Gray. -- Demarai Gray. England under 18, 19

and is now under 20 international. Inswinger beyond Gray, Vorm clause

it out. The only pressure on him was from his own team-mate. Chilwell.

The left-back popping up on the right wing. The dying seconds of

stoppage time, Schmeichel was alert to the rash act passed which will

keep the score level. He did not have much on. -- rash backpass. Just

about got enough on it. Something has happened on the bench to ruffle

Pochettino's feathers. His team took the lead after nine minutes, Eriksen

with a crisp finish, Italy did just test minutes that make the lead

lasted ten minutes. Wasilewski exploited a gap and headed Leicester

level. Good cup tie. STUDIO: As you suspect from two signs near the top

of the table it is a keenly fought affair. It is all to play for in the

second half. Peter, it is pretty much what you anticipate, Tottenham

with most of the possession but Leicester dangerous on the

counterattack. Typical for their season, Tottenham in the first 20

minutes dominated, then Leicester showed the character that they have

done this season. Scoring from the set piece, that shows how important

the company because it changed the course of the game. You could be

forgiven for thinking that Tottenham with a bigger club, bigger squad,

with both sides resting players Leicester would be considerably

weaker. It hasn't really panned out that way. Leicester will be

reasonably pleased considering the game has been played in their half.

I problem is that once they have not got the ball they are quite right to

retreat, absolutely, no problem whatsoever. But then Leicester City

get numbers behind the ball, I feel as if there is safety in numbers at

this minute whereas nobody is actually going to close players

down. Rose is starting on the halfway line and he has got wide.

They are able to play little exchanges between them. I think

Leicester playing it slightly dangerously. OK when they have the

ball, there is no outlet. That is fine when Vardy is there. The ball

is coming back too quickly for them. Your thoughts? Gray very

entertaining game, Leicester with great character to get back into the

game. Spurs with a lot of the ball, probably have to do more with the

ball in the final third but a very good golf. As we are about to see I

think it is a mistake from Schmeichel, he should... They worked

it very well, into ten, lovely touch, weight of passing to Chadli.

Schmeichel has the catch that. Once he chooses to punch it, he has got

to punch it out to the far left. Not directly back into the 18-yard box.

There is no way he should do that. Very good finish but I'm afraid it

is a mistake from the goalkeeper. Tom Carroll has done what he has

done the whole game, good pass, and it was a good move, slick passing.

That was when they were more than dominant, I thought they would go on

but credit to Leicester. Gabby Logan asked Ranieri where the goals will

come from, and he said what about the defenders from a set piece. And

so it turned out. As Peter has mentioned set pieces have become so

important in football now. Defensively you could pick holes in

what Tottenham have done. They have two out, that is why Danny Rose has

come at. If he is in the position he should be he actually clears this.

Superb ball in. Having said all that, when you are marking as

Alderweireld should be he should not get the header in. Preventable from

Tottenham 's point of view. I think that position for Danny Rose is so

important on the edge of the box where De Laet almost got the header.

If he has to come out then some Tottenham player has to come into

that position. Preferably speaking Danny Rose should stay there and

someone else should come out. Gray very good play for Leicester because

they have done their homework on the set piece, so they are dragging

Danny Rose out to get their big defenders off the attack that space.

With nobody on the post on either of those corners, I know it is a

bugbear of yours sometimes. Most clubs I have been at we have players

on the post but the centre of the goal is the job I do, I know that

well. When the first play gets dragged out for the corner then that

player in the central position should shift across to the near

post. That was obviously missing. Let's get another perspective, from

your Heskey. He is with Gabby Logan. In spite of the changes, quite

impressive to see both team is sticking to the same kind of

football, Leicester absorbing the pressure. They seem to be happy for

Spurs to have the ball. And try to hit them on the capture attack and

when free kicks. And attack them from the set piece. Spurs are

passing it around well down the left. When Spurs are going forward

Ranieri might have concerns because that is where they are being

concerned. That is the only place they are getting in, with Chadli, he

has been doing brilliantly. It is something they had to look at. The'

and in the studio they will look at that. Possession 70% for Spurs,

Leicester getting further forward as it went on, do you expect that

pattern of play to develop? It will be the same, Leicester have set up

to try to catch them on the counter. Kante driving, Demarai Gray, they

have very fast wingers. Chilwell backing them up. They have to hit

them on the break. Time for a cup of tea? Love one. We have to wait a few

minutes will stop you have some analysis on the way rose in

particular has caused them problems. What happens with Spurs is that the

full-backs chubbier and rose go on, give us the width. That is totally

fine to do that. He knows there is security behind him. Just Eric Dier

down the left hand side Danny Rose is doing that really well. -- give

us width. If you were manager, if you were Claudio Ranieri, would you

be focusing on that? He has got in rather easily and OK Maarek is

coming back to help, but I would love to be the full-back nowadays

when the winger does my job for me. By the time Dier gets out, Emile was

saying, let's hit them on the counter but they only have one

player of the field. Whatever you say about Ulloa he is not going to

out run in the body. If Leicester break it up there is nobody, they

are still playing in their own half. They have to try and win possession

further up the field. Having said this they have only proved me wrong

19,000 times this season. I would not worry! Sorry, they have not

proved me wrong, they have proved themselves right. You have to take

into account they have star players missing. Like you say, Vardy Aaron

Morris happy shining lights this season. Tottenham modestly have

rotated as well. The Spurs squad probably a bit stronger than

Leicester. This match is 15 FA Cup ties being played today, three have

already taken place so we can bring you some of the action from those

games starting at Oxford, who entertain Swansea from the Premier

The other match that has taken place, Carlisle facing Yeovil at

Bloomfield Road as Brunton Park was flooded. Danny Grainger opening the

scoring but they were pegged back by Francois Zoko scoring against his

old side. The Cumbrians regain the lead in the 76th minute when Mark

Ellis scored his first for the club but the Football League second

bottom side equalised in injury time with substitute Shaun Jeffers

Inler. Benalouane got something on it, he had to deal with it. He had

In their last two FA Cup meetings Leicester have won, winning seven of

all 11 meetings in this comp edition.

King was waiting. He strikes the ball well, the Mari Gray. Okazaki,

first contribution, good wriggle, good shimmy, and off the post and

then, what an impact! The Tinkerman changed it and it has paid off

immediately. Within two and a half minutes of the restart Leicester are

ahead. They have come out firing. Brilliant start to the half for

into the penalty area, driving run, did not clear it well enough,

delightful impact he has had on in the football since returning in the

Just felt one or two Tottenham players a bit static, Chadli with

Chadli. It is smashed across the goal, he did well to get something

Just positive as well, JP, getting into the penalty area, the step over

deceiving Alderweireld and brilliant reactions from the initial save from

Vorm. Three cup ties in a row. Leicester

have come from behind a case Spurs. They

were 2-1 down after 40 minutes and here they come again. What a change

Okazaki has made. Inler. Set up Carroll. He knows he can

shoot from there. Virtually the same position he used in the game against

Norwich. Good high pressure by Leicester. All season, Okazaki has

not always been a regular starter but when he has played he has worked

his socks off. The desire to play. It is suddenly giving Ranieri's men

a different option going forward. His reputation at Chelsea was

undeserved. It was only late on in his career that he change things

alarmingly. I think it was monocle, away in the Champions League and he

came a cropper. He had a lot of talent in that squad, and a lot of

people to keep happy. A corner kick. By the young England player. Spurs

third corner of the game. Christian Eriksen will take it. Eric Dier is

in there. Lovely balance. Shot deflected. He did well there, Marcin

Wasilewski. A good ball. He has set up a couple

of cracking goals. That is the right idea. Good goalkeeping from Kasper

Schmeichel, good hands. For the first 25 minutes, he was punching a

lot. Now he has decided to catch it. He has had a couple of career games

now, Kasper Schmeichel. A cracking cup tie this now. Son is in the

penalty area. He gets the shot away. He is always looking to get back

onto his right foot. Keeping going out wide but good feet from Nacer

Chadli and no real power on the strike. While it was a fine goal

from his point of view, it was a poor goal for Tottenham to concede.

Credit him with a nice step over. But as you say, can someone make

that challenge? Danny Rose. Good ball inside by

Nacer Chadli. Christian Eriksen could sit back to him. -- gives it

back to them. First touch let him down. It did. He did not get his

first touch right at all. Good play from Tottenham. Purposeful run. Goes

for goal... I don't think he was that far-away! A great run. I think

he should have returned the past. Never really troubling Michel Vorm.

Danny Rose now in space, very open. Through it it is a belter, isn't it?

Great tie. Do you think Ulloa is putting more effort? He was very

isolated at times in the first half and now he has a partner and he has

Okazaki and for the first he knew that if he won his headers, they

would not be able to get support enough. Mr O'Neill in the studio was

making that point. The tactics they can use for Vardy. Always listen to

Martin. I can't argue with him. Now we have Son. Brilliant cup tie.

Ritchie De Laet is doing well defensively in the second half. He

has dropped a couple of Tottenham attacks going forward. Ritchie De

Laet, good challenge. It is a good cup tie this. Two clubs with such FA

Cup history as well, Spurs with their successes, 61 from Bobby Smith

and Dyson, who got the winner. Watching on all the while, Spurs no

they can't hold on. It may not stay like this.

Decent passing from Marcin Wasilewski as well. He has pulled it

back. Marcin Wasilewski reminds me of Grizzly Adams, that series. The

man he used to live the Bears in the wilderness in Canada. He is the

Premier League's Grizzly Adams. He is certainly not lies or wiry. --

lithe or wiry. Not exactly the same build, are they? The two of them.

Dyer keeps it simple in that area. Spurs getting their rhythm back

again. Good ball from Trippier there,

actually. Got away from goal, difficult cross, getting up to the

top post in giving his attackers a chance. What a journey it has been

for Leicester fans this season. Not just this season, but last season as

well. They will remember this day for a long time. Danny Rose under

pressure from Okazaki. Pushed on by Inler. 35,805 people here today.

Carroll in support. A good combination. Deflected on into the

goalkeeper's hands. It is brilliant from Andy King. He tracked the run

It has been difficult at times today. Just got back. Now comes the

is so close! The deflection carried it wide. It was going in. He was

going to go on the overlapping run comedy recognises the threat and

holds up his run. It did take a deflection. He has been right, the

youngster, in the first 60 odd minutes of this game. We have got

information from the bench that he was just about to take Gray off.

Well, he's coming across to take this corner. He is still in the

action at the moment. Harry Kane is going to come on for Spurs in a

minute. He will swing this away. Danny Rose gives it some welly.

Spurs looked to me as if they will make a double substitution. Bentaleb

Well, Gray is going to depart and Albrighton is going to come on. He

has had another big season but the youngster can be really happy with

his debut today. He got an assist for the goal and Ranieri will be

really happy with his new signing. He has had a terrific season,

Albrighton. Dumped by Aston Villa, who must be regretting that now,

really. Harry Kane will have to wait a couple more moments.

Bentaleb is going to come on. Eric Dier has had a glance towards the

Blocked by the young left-back again. Christian Eriksen. 24 minutes

football team this season. I think that is why Albrighton has come on.

He will give them a little bit more discipline. He will know his role on

the left-hand side. Harry Kane is going to come on any moment. I

come on and it will be Carroll who comes off. I would think it is Eric

Dier and Bentaleb. A great roar there. Bentaleb missed 17 games this

season through injury. He has not been in the league since August.

Harry Kane, 24 goals in his lap 35 matches for Spurs. 50 in his last

18. -- 80. Leicester fans singing a song which would suggest that Harry

Kane is a poor imitation for Jamie Vardy. According to many people who

know Spurs very well, he is the real deal. Jamie Vardy has had a

wonderful season. Purposeful, good challenge by Andy

King. Christian Eriksen. Nacer Chadli is white. He has gone Fergal!

-- is wide. He has gone for goal! Certainly not the way to do it.

Leicester back in shape. Only one FA Cup tie for him previously. That was

a couple of seasons ago. Harry Kane has never started a cup tie. He has

played for them in the competition but not from the start.

Here is Chilwell game. It is comfortable. Back to Okazaki. Given

away too cheaply this time. It's very tight. Tottenham are well

organised. Eric Dier just went a little bit too early. Harry Kane,

Bentaleb. Onomah in the middle and Son joining in now. Make his run

maybe a little bit too early. Nacer Chadli looks a bit ring rusty.

But sitting for Son. Andy King again. He has played so well in

midfield for Leicester. That was offside and minute ago. Good

decision. Well-organised back for Tottenham. Harry Kane and Jamie

Vardy do seem to have potency. A wonderful prospect here at Spurs.

Alli is getting ready. This is an extravagant talent in the making.

What do you make of him? I start a lot of him when he was playing for

MK Dons and he has taken to the Premier League so well and he is

enjoying his football, and other goal last week at Goodison Park. He

took that very well. Closed in the end and well closed. Pretty

impressed with Chilwell today. He has had a real impact today. That

was a great challenge. He likes defending. He is a defender who

likes defending. You can't say that about them all these days. If

necessary, you will just put it in the stand and allow his side to get

reorganised. Trippier back in there. Out of play. The assistant has

flagged that it went out but Leicester City did not lead to the

decision. They were in play to the whistle there. Alli is going to come

on. Nacer Chadli is going to come off. When the Spurs fans heard that

Ali was coming on, they cheered. The crowd here at Whitehall Lane

recognise they have potentially one of the best over the next 1015 years

if he continues to develop. That is long. Albrighton got in behind

Trippier temporarily. Albrighton had the run on Trippier.

Under pressure from Alli. He has been involved in six Tottenham balls

in his last seven appearances. -- goals. His first touch was a lovely

little cheeky backheel. They knew they had a talent. I don't think the

my first instinct was it was handball. Looking at it again and

again you see why Leicester will feel it is harsh. It is harsh but it

looked as if it was ball to hand, JP. If it just hits him as he gets

that handling awkward position but he looks as if he gets a flick out

it was so pivotal to the outcome. Not for me, I have to agree with the

boys. He is facing the other way, he turns his head and then it hits his

hand. Some penalties you give when the ball is hit at you from a couple

of yards, the referee has given it because the ball was not moving very

far but for me he has just turned his head and put his arm out to

block the run. Gray and I don't know how the referee can see that, there

is no way. Both players have their back to him. It is the intent. Gray

he did not stick it away too badly. Conference, pace, power, brilliant.

Prior to that it got to the stage where Tottenham did not look like

they were going to equalise. I thought Leicester did very well

overall, the second half what they try to do was to frustrate them,

obviously the substitution made a big, big difference because the

centre forward got more support. And they had a bit more confidence and

although they defended deeply, the extra strike at the difference. The

double still on for Leicester? I thought they would see it out, the

way their season has been going they would hold onto it. Contentious

penalty decision has turned it in their favour. Would think a man at

half-time, to good effect. Okazaki, great decision, we said he was

unforgettable but the way he got the ball and moved the space for himself

and of course the finish. Martin is absolutely right, pushed further up

in the second half and it was a very good goal, great feet, little bit of

luck but Kwik-Fit again to stick it away. And look at the number of

players they have a bear. I know it was a set piece. Superb pass to put

it into Okazaki but they worked it really well. We thought they were

going to prove us all wrong again but certainly myself and Peter said

we thought Spurs would go on. Martin said it would be a draw. I mentioned

that -- you mentioned it before I did! Gray they showed great

character coming back into it and I think they have been harshly treated

by that decision. In many ways they have such momentum that I suppose

belief is so important. Absolutely, I watched Aston Villa yesterday,

they have no self belief or confidence, it is exactly the

opposite with Leicester. Going from strength to strength, they feel as

if they can win games, even when they are behind they are still in

the match. Even more so when we mentioned before the game the number

of changes they made. They have depth in their squad to come here.

They also went behind quite early to Christian Eriksen. Of course the

goalkeeper will be disappointed like we said before. He needs to push

that are further but again a great finish from Eriksen. I think he

needed to catch it. I think once he chooses to parry it it should go

wider. There is a reluctance these days to catch the ball. This was the

equaliser from the corner. Well worked, Rose comes out because it

was two against one. He left the space which Leicester exploited a

stringy well. Good ball in and great determination from Wasilewski. He

wanted more than the centre-half will stop in many ways we have

ourselves a draw in this game and both managers have rested players

deliberately to save themselves for the league. Then they get another

match so it kind of backfires. They get another one, nobody goes out

deliberately to lose. If Tottenham Hotspur had gone out they would be

disappointed but even so they are still heavily involved in European

fixtures and so for Leicester to go back there, I think the burden is

slightly less. In many ways the fact neither side loses maintains

momentum because any defeat has a negative effect mentally. It does

not matter who plays, lots of players have been rested. If you

lose a game it has gone and these two sides have got a huge amount of

momentum in the league and they will want to keep that going. Having a

look at the Mari grade who was featured, -- Demarai Gray, how do

you think he did? Gray very promising, Gary. He worked his socks

off for the team in the first half without much reward with the ball.

He saw a lot more of it in the second half, full of confidence, we

know he is quick and he can run with the ball. This is so unlucky. It was

a very good touch, he gave his team some width, positive, and we were on

our seats thinking, what an effort at what's. Brilliant. That is what

is good at, taking players on, coming in from the left. It does not

matter to him who he is up against he will take them on. Very promising

debut. What caught your attention out there today? I think the

strength in depth of both sides, really. Not many changes in the

Premier League for both sides, such a settled first 11 but I think they

showed there are other players they can call upon for both of them. They

are both aiming for the top four at the minute so they will need a big

squad. From the Leicester point of view to bring those players in,

Ulloa has not been a regular, Gray, King was Man of the Match I thought,

he was superb. We said it before the game, if there was one team we felt

could not change it, it was Leicester. The players have now

given the manager food for thought. If they do not get the results like

in the last three games he has guys to come in. They now will also play

three times in the space of a week and a half. Which brings strange

things, it is like a World Series. There will be a few changes on

Wednesday night. Tom Hotspur have a number of players, even though they

played Watford a couple of weeks ago it was a Premier League game and

they changed the side around for the visit to Everton. They will feel as

if they can make those changes but quite rightly as Alan says one or

two players now here have been on the periphery and have now decided,

listen, this is my chance and I think in general they have taken

those chances. As a striker, as any player really, is it of playing

three times against the same opposition it in such a short space

of time? It is quite unusual. You get it in the Champions League, but

it is quite rare? With it being so close together it is a bit awkward

but certainly whoever gets the first result will be confident. In another

ten days Vardy might be fit which might give them another option. If

he picks him... I am sure he would. One word on Ranieri, he has done a

remarkable job to come in. He has done fantastically, brilliantly.

Every single week I see him being interviewed, people testing him all

the time and he waves it away with a little smile, even little jokes that

were against and he has decided not to bother with it. And as I said at

half-time he has been going splendidly, the players are

listening which is great news for him and also I think they feel with

him there now they feel as if they can continue this. He was always an

inspirational choice as far as I'm concerned! Extended highlights of
