Good evening. We hit 27 Celsius in the September sunshine today at

Heathrow. On the Isle of Skye close to 15 degrees Celsius. Clear skies

across the south. Cloud making for a wet night across central and

southern Scotland and much of Northern Ireland. This rain will

snake across the Irish Sea. Most of England and Wales will stay dry.

Warmer night than last night. In parts of the south, it will turn

cloudy. A lot of low cloud drifting in. A grey start to the South West.

It may brighten up for a time. This area of rain will work its way

across Devon and Cornwall. It will arrive in Cardiff, but a dry,

bright start here. Wales should expect a wet day. Wet night in

Northern Ireland. That rain will drift away by the morning. It will

also brighten up across parts of Scotland. Many places do start off

Saturday wet. Outbreaks of rain edging south across northern

England. Yorkshire started the day fine with sunshine. Further south,

lots of hazy sunshine across the Midlands, East Anglia and south-

east England too. The south coast may be grey early on. The cloud

should lift. A lovely day across the south-east corner. The rain

slips into parts of Lancashire, across most of Wales and into Devon

and Cornwall. It clears from Northern Ireland, brigtening up

here and Scotland. Temperatures 18- 22. In the sunshine 25 in London,

27 in Norwich, 2 in one or two places. Heavy showers across the

extreme south-east during Saturday night. It stays wet across northern
