warmer than it has done over recent days. We're not there just yet. If

you look at the sat light, you can see the line of thicker cloud

sitting across the south-west corner. That has been bringing with

it some rain. We saw some rain in the Olympian Stadium to finish off

the day. That stays with us. Maybe one or two showers in Eastern

Scotland. In between, we have breaks in the cloud allowing patchy

mist to form. Temperatures down to 11-12 Celsius. It is milder in the

south - lows of 16 Celsius. It gets off to a grey, dull, damp start

across southern counties of England and Wales. We'll see a slow

improvement for the afternoon as the cloud bra breaks up. Sunshine

breaking through. If we follow the progress of the weather throughout

the day in the Olympian Stadium, by the evening session, we have some

bright skies and temperatures at about 21 Celsius. Much sunnier

across south-west England, helping temperatures of 19 Celsius in

Plymouth. 20 Celsius in Cardiff throughout the afternoon. Across

Wales, sunny spells and generally light winds. For Northern Ireland,

a fine day to come. Out to the west in Enniskillen, 21 Celsius. Bell FA

18 Celsius. For Western Scotland, sunny spells, but rather stubborn

cloud around the Moray Firth. For Northern England, we have sunshine

for the afternoon and temperatures at around 21 Celsius. We might get

up to 22 ree in London, but along the south coast, we can't rule out

one or two showers throughout the afternoon. They'll clear out by

Thursday. That's when we see the high pressure taking hold. For most,

a dry, bright day. Any early morning mist and fog should lift.

We've got light wind. It's quite warm, if anything, humid. The top

temperature in London, 25 Celsius, just reaching 20 Celsius in

Scotland and Northern Ireland. But there will be some sea breezes

around the coast. Quite a warm, muggy night Thursday into Friday,

but Friday should be another fine day. Again that early mist and fog
