BBC London team, have a very good Good evening. We hit 29 degrees

Celsius last weekend. This weekend, well, it will not be that warm. If

you fancy some September sunshine then tomorrow looks good. A bright

and breezy day. There will be a breeze blowing but it will not be

as strong as the wind has been today. The area of low pressure is

clearing to the north. This area of high pressure is starting to

influence things. The isobars are starting to spread out, meaning the

Windies falling light. Still gusty across northern Scotland tonight

with one or two showers but with lighter winds further south, mist

and fog patches will form and with the clear skies and lighter winds,

temperatures will fall. Ten or 11 degrees Celsius in towns and cities.

In rural areas, four or five degrees Celsius. A bit of a chill

to start the weekend but if you are a burly you should be rewarded with

sunshine. Maybe grey and misty across south-west England and South

Wales but further East, plenty of sparkling sunshine. More cloud on

the west coast of northern England but the wind will not be as strong

as this morning. A bright start across Northern Ireland. More cloud

on the western side of Scotland. A bit of rain in the far north. We

should hang on to sunshine in north-east Scotland. A warmer day

here. Many eastern counties of England and Scotland will see sunny

spells throughout the day. There will be some cloud developing

elsewhere. Some western coasts may be disappointingly grey. For many,

a fine day. Temperatures rising in the sunny spells in the east at 19-

21 degrees Celsius. Feeling warmer than today because winds are light.

That is a crucial factor for the organisers that Hoylake, the

Women's British Open was effectively abandoned today because

of the strength of the wind. They should be plenty of play on

Saturday. Rain is in the forecast for Sunday. The rain across north-

west England is going to be caused by these two weather fronts merging

together and combining to angst this area of high pressure. The

weather fronts will bring a spell slowly south across England and

Wales on Sunday, spreading towards the Midlands. Southern and eastern

counties will probably stay dry and bright on Sunday. Blustery
