Good evening. It has been quite a day, particularly in the southern

half of the UK, with the winds speaking at 71 mph. That was in the

south coast of Wales. This is the culprit stash this world of low

pressure on writing in from the Atlantic, -- this is the culprit -

this swirl of low pressure. Things are looking quieter generally. Still

pretty windy outside, with a windy night to come across much of Finland

and Wales. It will ease somewhat during the small hours. Overnight

lows somewhere between seven and 10 degrees. Then we head into Friday,

which will be another breezy day for England and Wales. Quite a lot of

cloud to the west of the UK in general, bringing more persistent

outbreaks of rain from time to time. We hope that some areas will

brighten up into a measure of sunshine and showers. Often

overcast, though, to the south-west. Wales is accommodation of sharp

showers and sunshine. -- a combination. Scattered showers for

Northern England. If you showers for Scotland, but generally a bit of

sunshine to be found. -- a few showers. If you have got plans for

later on Friday, they're in mind that some of the showers will push

East into eastern England. Then we are looking at a spell of heavy rain

and winds of -- for first thing on Saturday. Quite a bit of rain in

most parts of the UK on Saturday. Sunday has a brighter outlook, at
