Hello. The early June sunshine is banishing the memories of the

coldest spring in 50 years. Well, almost. I suspect those memories

were reawakened today under this patch of stubborn cloud. It was

grim temperatures 112-13. You go the the sunshine and temperatures.

Western parts of Northern Ireland up to 24.2 Celsius, the highest

temperature of the year so far. If you have been missing out there is

warm sunshine in the forecast for the rest of the week, I'm including

the weekend as well. Quiet over night as well. That cloud more

extensive across eastern parts of England. One or two little showers

around southern parts of Scotland. It will be a dry night.

Temperatures in most of the towns and cities in double figures. More

rural spots, with clear skies, going lower than that. A bit of a

chill in the air first thing. Temperatures will pick up quickly

in the strong June sunshine. Tomorrow that sunshine will banish

the cloud from areas like Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.

Sunshine will come along by the afternoon. Further north across

Scotland, patchy cloud developing. It could be thick enough for an odd

shower, more likely across the borders. 20 degrees in Glasgow. Low

20s across Northern Ireland too. One or two showers with the odd one

across the northern Pennines. The accent on dry and wrm weather, away

from the east coast where cloud could linger on -- warm. Lots of

places into the low 20's and 24 or 25 on the cards. We will lead into

a fine evening as well. The showers that pop-up through the day will

fade. Most places will miss those. Friday, patchy cloud around, maybe

north-eastern parts of England, eastern Scotland quite cool, most

places managing to get into the low 20s. That is a nice early June

temperature. Friday night into the early part of the week, a little

bit of change. Low pressure will push up from the south. High

pressure will keep things settled. The wind will pick up from the east
