Good evening. It is good news on the weather front for most of the UK. We

have been forecasting fine weather for a few days. It has certainly

arrived. Beautiful picture today. The skies are clearing across the

UK. Temperatures are falling as well. Pretty nippy. Already a frost

developing in northern areas as this high establish its hotels across the

UK. It is the windlass zone in the centre of the high where those

temperatures dropping. Some fog in places, such as the Vale of York.

For most, a starry, starry night. Towns and cities in the 40 1 degrees

range. Outside, -2 to minus four degrees. But for most, it looks

something like this in the morning. Not if you live in the middle of the

city, but you get the message. This is lunchtime. Pretty chilly on

south-eastern coast. The wind coming off the cold sea. Temperatures of

around 13, 14. Peaking at 16 in western parts. That is pretty much

it. Just sunny. Enjoy it if you can. A nice brunch in the morning and

walk in the afternoon and evening. The high is with us there. Saturday

night, one o'clock becomes two o'clock, just like that. As is often

the case, every year. And these early Sunrises and sunsets. After

the clocks change, the sunsets at eight o'clock. The days getting

noticeably longer. The high pressure is with us on Sunday. The winds

lighter here. Probably won't feel quite as chilly round these coasts.

In some of these western areas, temperatures could get up to 15

Celsius. I will show you what is happening next weekend. Low pressure

starts to develop across the Atlantic and head our away. The

weather goes downhill. Certainly by the time we get to Tuesday, for

many, increasing amount of cloud. Not necessarily that chilly. Could

be in the high teens. A settled weekend with some warm sunshine.

There will always be a touch of frost.
