Hello. There the weekend is here and Sunday looks like being the better

day of the two. We're going to start the weekend, a new month, with

sunshine and April showers. Those fade away overnight. Saturday night

could be chilly. It points to a fine day on Sunday. This picture was

taken by a weather watcher to end the day in Dundee. This one is

probably my favourite of the day. This was taken at Yarmouth in the

Isle of Wight. Here we could catch showers overnight. Probably going to

be dry in Dundee. You can see where the wet weather is, in the

south-west and into Wales. That could be heavier eier at times.

Clearer skies for Eastern parts of England. Not as warm as last night.

Not cold by any means. Tomorrow we start the day with sunshine and

showers for Wales and the south-west of England. A few showers through

the Midlands. Central, southern England for much of Eastern England,

it may be dry with sunshine. Very different story for North West

England. A wet start after a bit of rain overnight as well. A lot of

water on the road. Dry for much of Northern Ireland and mainland

Scotland. We do have this band of showers that moves down from the

north-west. Throughout the morning and into the afternoon, we see

showers developing more widely. The more persistent rain turn showery.

For Eastern Scotland, perhaps into the West Country showers as well.

Slow moving showers, heavy and thundery. Warm sunshine in between.

Highest temperatures in the south-east before the showers

develop in the afternoon. The showers don't really last long at

all. They will fade away during the evening, getting pushed away by

building pressure. The high pressure keeps weather fronts away on Sunday.

It starts off chilly on Sunday morning. Particularly across rural

Scotland and Northern Ireland. Temperatures not far away from

freezing. But it will warm up quickly in the sunshine. Nice day on

Sunday. Hardly any wind around at all. There will be cloud now and

again. Perhaps may build up across Eastern England. Sunshine too. The

best of the sunshine across southern and western coasts. Temperatures a

bit lower. More than compensated by the sunshine. Into Monday,

temperatures may rise a little higher across England and Wales,

where during the day it should be dry. We'll have sunshine, surgerly

wind develops. That brings rain into Scotland and Northern Ireland. That

rain on these weather fronts tracks into England and Wales overnight.

But the weather fronts weaken. There'll be little rain and then

to sit down and really flush everything out.
