things are looking good in the next few days, some pressure drifting in

from the Atlantic, bringing some finance settled with it. Just some

questions about the amount of cloud we will see under that. The cloud we

Here is the satellite sequence which shows it was pretty gloomy on the

eastern side of England. Not much rain, but a good swathe of sunshine

for many early on. In the north-west, showers. Gusty wind as

well, northern Scotland seeing 60-70 miles an hour overnight, rattling

though showers through. Also some cloud toppling its way further sap.

Keeping temperatures in the northern half at seven or eight. In the south

with light winds and clear skies it will turn chilly, especially in

rural spots. Into the morning across Scotland, still pretty windy but

winds easing. Some showers in the Western Isles, but the eastern Sky

side should to be dry. A similar story in northern England. Then we

run into the sunshine, East Anglia, Southern counties of England. A bit

of a chilly start but some sunshine. All in all, a pretty positive start

to the day. Make the most of the morning sunshine because that cloud

will continue to drift south in the latter part of the day. However, we

hang on to something brighter in the south-west and in the north-east of

Scotland. Despite a lot of cloud, everywhere staying fine and rights

and temperatures around 10-11 across Scotland, 13-14 in Cardiff and

London may be a bit higher with some sunshine. Through the evening may be

a bit of rain in East and the of Scotland, but for most of us just

fine and dry. Thursday and Friday, similar sorts of days, a bit chilly

in the morning but dry pretty much everywhere, variable amounts of

cloud and good spells of sunshine. This Thursday and Friday on the

other side of the Atlantic, the US Masters is getting underway. The

winds could be an issue for the first couple of days, but that

should ease down and it should warm up. Warming up back on our shores at

the weekend as the high-pressure system moves to the near continent.

We develop a southerly breeze and that will pull in some warm air from

Spain and France. Temperatures Marine Le Pen has her eyes
