Stormy weather on the way. Amber

warning in force from the Met Office

as severe gales sweep the country.

Much of the UK and there is likely

to be disruption, damage tomorrow,

by tomorrow morning as well.

Powerful jetstream is driving the

storm. One area of low pressure

here. The storm affecting us is just

to the south of it. It is this hook

of cloud. It went on through the

Republic of Ireland earlier and

produces gusts of nearly 100mph. It

gives an indication of how powerful

this weather system is. Moving into

the Irish Sea and South Western

parts of Scotland. Through the

course of the night the winds will

pick up across many areas of the

country until those winds become

potentially damaging. These are the

sort of gusts we could get, worse

case scenario up to 90mph in some

exposed areas of the north. Then

south of that we. Will be feeling

the effects of this storm over a

wider area, 60 miles inland, 70

maybe 80 on the exposed costs of the

south as well. A very blustery

morning on the way in. The winds

will blow hard through the course of

the day. The afternoon will look

like, a loft brightness on the way.

You will look up in the sky and see

fast moving clouds racing across the

sky, upper level winds pushing the

clouds through. There will be sunny

spells, brief downpours with thunder

and lightning possible as well. On

top of that those roaring gusts of

wind, then a lull and another gust

of wind. That turbulent day. A nasty

one for sure. The winds will die

down tomorrow evening before the

next weather system comes in.

Thursday. In fact, it will be very

windy across the south, gale force

winds once again. Run-of-the-mill

gales for the time of year and rain

in the north. Unsettled, blustery

day with rain around on Thursday.

Friday is also looking pretty

unsettled across the UK and then the

weekend, Saturday and Sunday, things

are going to turn colder and there

could be some snow showers on the
