arrived here on Good Friday back in 2009 but five years on, thex still

don't have permanent planning permission. In the nearby vhllage,

residents have complained of anti`social behaviour. And the local

councillor has been handing out leaflets, urging people to keep

fighting the site. There ard six sites in the area and they will

basically come here for what they need, and while some of thel are

probably fine and we probably don't even notice them, there are the ones

that come in and cause us trouble. This is the only sight of those six

without permanent planning permission. The traveller

application was rejected by Bosworth and Hinckley Borough councils and

said there would be an unacceptable increase in traffic and othdr birds

affect on the countryside's appearance. The travellers have

appealed and their case will now be heard in October. The vast number of

travellers realise that going through the official route hs the

way to do it. They don't want to upset people. In this day and age

people do deserve a decent place to live. It is illegal and bec`use it

hasn't got planning permisshon, if we let this one happen, we obviously

going to get more. It is a war of words that has now entered hts sixth

year and it will be another four months before we are any closer to a
