what Saturday's result means to the people there.

Lincoln is a city of celebration. Their football club has had an

outstanding season and their success is on everyone's. Absolutely

amazing. Brilliant. Yeah it's fantastic. I been to acute games

this year and it was good to see them go up. Local businesses are

already feeling the benefit. This gift shop says Imps mugs are flying

off the shelves. It's put them back on the map really it's the first

time we've been on match of the day prime time. People saw the cathedral

and people have developed an interest in finding out more about

Lincoln. Not of people going online and thinking where is this great

city? -- lots of people going online does. We've seen an increase in

visitors to our website as well. At this primary School, football is the

favourite subject. The ground is just 100 yards from the school and

the success of the local team is inspiring these young fans and

potential future players. Everyone is talking about Lincoln city and

everyone wants to go to their games and once through them to win.

They've done so well and they've tried their hardest to go into

leaked to. I would like to be a footballer when I'm older. When I

would like to play through Lincoln city. The children are not playing

-- talking about messy, Suarez, they're talking about Arnold and

Joining me now is the hero of the hour. Lincoln city 's manager Danny

Cowley. Danny, congratulations, how does that feel standing next to that

tonight? It's a pretty good feeling. I've certainly had worse weekends.

It was a great day for ever and associated with Lincoln city

football club. How did you manage to achieve it? A mean 11 months, that's

nothing. It has, it has. For the last week, we tried really hard on a

daily basis and it just shows you what you can achieve with

like-minded people. Did you know that you had it in you to do this

and do it in this speed that you have done it in? I think Nikki and I

believe in our skill set, and our work ethic, we are lucky enough to

work with a lot of good people here, it is a great football club and it

has got a lot of very good people. It has been a privilege to work at

the club and to work with so many wonderful people. You have also

developed a great relationship with the supporters in a relatively short

space of time. How important have they been in this and how you

develop that relationship? Our supporters have been unbelievable

from day dot. Right, we have got a you meet relationship with our

supporters -- a unique relationship with our supporters. When comparing

Lincoln city with premiership clubs you get instant interaction with the

players if you support Lincoln city, and that is where it unique.

Sometimes you are supporting a club you a glass window. We have been

able to get out into the local community. The players have been

great at giving up their time to meet people and build relationships,

human relationships. These are built through interaction and that is what

we have been able to do. Therefore the support has grown along the

journey. We had some success on the pitch as well. What is it like for

you, because you live in Essex and nobody really knows you there but in

linking you can't move? It must be a bit of an odd existence? It

certainly has been new. In Essex my next-door neighbour does not know

who I am but here it is slightly different. We got a great

relationship with the people of Lincoln, and we wanted to get to

know the city when we came here. We quickly worked out that it is an

honest, hard-working area and we just tried to get a group of players

that had similar qualities and I think we have been able to do that.

As a consequence, we have managed to create a real allegiance and build a

real room relationship with the community. Is your future to stay at

Lincoln and have a giving you a big budget? Our ambition is in the

journey and while we feel we can add value, we would love to stay. For

us, the success that we have had this season has to be a springboard

to push on. We have done very well in the FA Cup and the finances are

looking good as a consequence. We now need to reinvest that money to

build an infrastructure for the club so that we can have continued

success. That is what we aim to do. We look forward to the future.

Police in Hull have increased patrols in part of the city

following two armed robberies over the weekend.

They happened in the Stoneferry area on Saturday night.

A man was robbed on a cycle path near Leads Road and then a member

of staff at a nearby petrol station was threatened by two men.

Matthew Bone is in Stoneferry this evening.

This happened between 1030 and 11 o'clock on Saturday night. One man

on a bicycle was intimidated, threatened by two men, both with

their faces covered and wearing dark clothing and between the age of 20

and 30 years old. He was threatened with a Stanley knife and an

imitation firearm and robbed and then the two attackers came to this

petrol station, they basically did the same thing again and threatened

the member of staff. He was bundled into a side room, apparently, and

they made off with cigarettes and some other items. The police are

still looking for these two men, earlier asked them why they were so

confident that was an imitation firearm that was used.

What I can share with you is that we know that it was an imitation

firearm because we've recovered it from the scene here

So, I can offer some reassurance to the public that it is no

longer on the street, and so they can't be

full of beans. And Max has a enough energy left over to do a bit of
