Hello. The warm spell continues but for how much longer?

We will see gradual changes with the weather over the next week or so.

But Sunday is going to be warm - warmer than Saturday,

potentially, when we got to 25 degrees across East Anglia.

On Sunday, 26 or 27 is possible

across some parts of England and Wales.

Quite a bit warmer than Iberia.

We'll see why it's cold here in just a moment.

Should see lots of sun in Rome on Sunday.

Up to 24 or 25 degrees here.

But that's still lower

than we'll see across the UK.

And to the opposite end of the Mediterranean,

even in the east here,

some relatively cool air keeping

temperatures at only around 20 Celsius

in Athens and Istanbul.

Low pressure weather fronts here

bringing some showers.

This area of low pressure -

which will be one of the dominant features

of the UK's weather in the coming days -

keeping things cool and showery

across Spain and Portugal.

Around that low,

we're drawing in the warmer air

from France and Germany.

Temperatures rising further on Sunday.

There won't be as many showers.

Most places dry and bright.

Probably a brightER day

across western Scotland

and Northern Ireland.

Isolated showers possible

in the afternoon,

but dry, sunny and warm

in most places.

WarmER than Saturday.

Feeling warmer across southern Scotland

and Northern Ireland. 20 Celsius possible.

It'll be a brighter day on the east coast.

Probably feeling warmer here too.

Inland, across England and Wales,

we could see 25, 26 or 27 Celsius.

That low is still the dominant feature

through Sunday and into Monday.

High pressure across Scandinavia.

We're between those two weather systems.

The low is more influential

with its weather front

extending to the far south-west,

bringing showery rain in here

during the course of Monday.

Ahead of that, we may again

see isolated heavy showers

but it's dry for most.

Easterly winds mean that the east coast

will again see the lowest temperatures

struggling to get into the teens.

But in the sunshine,

particularly in western areas,

it will be over 20 degrees once more.

That weather front becomes more a feature

on Monday night and into Tuesday.

Some uncertainty about the timings

of these weather fronts approaching.

Because they're slow-moving,

it makes a big difference to the weather.

If you're stuck under it,

it'll be a very wet day,

but it could be a little further north

or a little further south.

Generally, across northern Britain,

it's another fine and sunny day.

Lovely conditions,

particularly in the west of Scotland.

18, 19 degrees.

If you're stuck under that rain,

which could be heavy during Tuesday,

temperatures will be noticeably lower

than right now.

That weather front again just sitting on some areas

of the country during the middle of the week.

Again, it could be

a little further south or north,

but it's going to be slow-moving,

so, if you do get wet, it may well rain all day.

To the south, there may be scattered showers again.

Across Scotland, it's generally dry.

Now, we've shifted the wind pattern

by the end of the week.

Still with an easterly element,

but more from the north-east,

bringing a cooler feel.

That front is dying so we're just left with a few showers on Thursday.

By the end of the week, total switcharound -

low pressure over Scandinavia, the low has gone from the south-west...

Follow the isobars. They point all the way to the north.

Air will be coming down from the north towards next weekend.

It won't be anything like as warm as the current weekend,

but generally it should be

sunny spells and largely dry,

but temperatures will be

significantly lower.

Back closer to the average,

but it'll feel a lot cooler

compared to this weekend.
