Would you like exclusive access to the Muppets Most Wanted movie?

7:32:397:32:42

Would you like to see a world record involving this?

7:32:427:32:44

Do you want to see superstar coach from The Voice, Ricky Wilson,

7:32:447:32:48

perform with his band?

7:32:487:32:50

-You would?

-Yes!

-Good, because it's all coming up on today's show.

7:32:507:32:53

-Hello!

-Hello!

7:33:117:33:13

And a special hello, by the way, all the mums out there,

7:33:137:33:16

-because, on Sunday, it is Mother's Day.

-Hello, mums.

7:33:167:33:19

If you haven't bought your card yet, don't worry. Check this out.

7:33:197:33:23

We're going to show you how to make his wonderful Mother's Day card,

7:33:237:33:26

and these circles here, they've got a message underneath them.

7:33:267:33:29

We'll be showing you how to make them

7:33:297:33:31

and also reveal those messages a little later on.

7:33:317:33:33

It is very cool, make sure you're watching.

7:33:337:33:35

Later, Barney's going behind the scenes on the brand-new film,

7:33:357:33:38

the Muppets. And that got us thinking, if you could go anywhere

7:33:387:33:42

behind-the-scenes and have access all areas, where would you go?

7:33:427:33:45

-BOTH: And why?

-What about you?

7:33:457:33:47

I think I would go for the White House.

7:33:477:33:49

-I'd love to meet Barack Obama. That'd be unreal.

-Legend.

7:33:497:33:53

I'd go behind-the-scenes at the National Theatre

7:33:537:33:55

-and find out where they make their props and costumes.

-Nice.

7:33:557:33:58

-How cool would that be?

-I'd go to NASA.

7:33:587:34:00

I'd like to see astronauts train and go to that thing where

7:34:007:34:02

they spin you round and you get flappy cheeks.

7:34:027:34:05

-My grandma's got flappy cheeks. That would be amazing.

-OK.

7:34:057:34:08

-Those are our ideas, but we want to here from you.

-Yes, please.

7:34:087:34:11

Get in touch and tell us if you could go anywhere and access all areas,

7:34:117:34:15

where would it be? What would you do?

7:34:157:34:18

We'll try to read out as many as we can later in the show.

7:34:187:34:20

Enough of all that. Cue the music, please.

7:34:207:34:24

MUSIC: THEME FROM THE MUPPET SHOW

7:34:247:34:26

# ..It's time to play the music It's time to light the lights... #

7:34:267:34:31

-Barney.

-Thanks.

7:34:317:34:33

That's the Muppet theme, we're singing it because we're all

7:34:337:34:36

very excited about the brand-new movie, Muppets Most Wanted.

7:34:367:34:39

Last year, I went behind the scenes to meet Kermit and Co.

7:34:397:34:42

I also met Miss Piggy and I have to say, that I thought Lindsey

7:34:427:34:44

was a bit of a diva, but after Miss Piggy, she's a walk in the park!

7:34:447:34:47

-Barney, I'm still here.

-Hi. I love what you do, you're amazing.

7:34:477:34:50

It may not look like it, but I am actually in England,

7:34:567:34:58

at the moment, on the set of a brand-new massive movie.

7:34:587:35:02

But the people in this movie are no ordinary superstars.

7:35:027:35:05

They're The Muppets.

7:35:057:35:07

# Come on, everybody

7:35:077:35:08

# Strike up the band

7:35:087:35:11

# We're in a sequel That's what we do in Hollywood

7:35:117:35:14

# And everybody knows that the sequel's never quite as good

7:35:147:35:19

# A sequel, another feature attraction

7:35:197:35:23

# Places, please, light the lights, Roll camera, action! #

7:35:237:35:27

It's cold spring day in Oxfordshire

7:35:277:35:29

on location with Muppets Most Wanted.

7:35:297:35:31

The cast and crew are preparing for a big scene and I've tracked down

7:35:317:35:34

a familiar face - unwitting hero and all-round nice guy, Walter.

7:35:347:35:39

Let me point out first before we start that this is Walter's badge,

7:35:397:35:43

he has earned it,

7:35:437:35:44

because, not only are you now on Blue Peter for the first time,

7:35:447:35:47

which is how you get your badge, but you're bona fide Muppet.

7:35:477:35:50

Yeah, I know, can you believe it? I do all my own stunts in this.

7:35:507:35:53

There's action, and singing and Muppets and danger and espionage.

7:35:537:35:59

Oh! It's so exciting!

7:35:597:36:01

I've got it.

7:36:037:36:05

Making a Muppets movie is no small job -

7:36:057:36:07

from cameras to catering, dolly grip to director,

7:36:077:36:10

it takes hundreds of people to craft each scene.

7:36:107:36:13

But it's a small, green frog called Kermit who really calls the shots.

7:36:137:36:17

These people all know, of course, that you are the biggest star on set,

7:36:177:36:20

-which is why it's so nice to talk to you.

-You know, I have to say,

7:36:207:36:23

that it's not like I'm Johnny Depp or anything.

7:36:237:36:25

It's not that difficult,

7:36:257:36:26

-because I'm always playing the role of Kermit the Frog.

-Sure.

7:36:267:36:30

It was the part I was born to play.

7:36:307:36:31

Hey! I can't believe you're here, it's so good to see you guys.

7:36:317:36:35

Kermit, listen, the evil frog man, Constantine,

7:36:357:36:38

has taken over The Muppets and replaced you!

7:36:387:36:40

I am actually kidnapped in this movie.

7:36:407:36:43

And I spend my time here, while the evil Constantine,

7:36:437:36:46

played by my cousin, Constantine, is actually taking over The Muppets.

7:36:467:36:52

We are now in a position to carry out greatest bor...gr...y.

7:36:527:36:57

Borgle...

7:36:577:36:59

Burgle... Burgle...

7:36:597:37:01

-Burglary?

-Yes, of all time,

7:37:017:37:04

and pin it on those gullible Muppets,

7:37:047:37:07

who will spend the rest of their miserable lives behind bars.

7:37:077:37:12

Ricky Gervais is one of the many famous human faces

7:37:137:37:15

in this international crime caper.

7:37:157:37:17

He plays number two to Constantine's number one.

7:37:177:37:20

It's like a buddy movie, bad guy, bad frog.

7:37:207:37:24

Who doesn't want to watch that?

7:37:247:37:26

International tour manager.

7:37:267:37:28

-Dominic Badguy?

-It's pronounced "Badgey".

7:37:287:37:31

-It's French.

-ALL: Oh!

7:37:317:37:33

I don't talk to people any more. I just talk to frogs and pigs.

7:37:337:37:36

I don't want this moment to end!

7:37:367:37:38

That's why we've got to get out there

7:37:387:37:40

and capitalise on this with a capital C.

7:37:407:37:42

So, I mean, yeah, it's a problem,

7:37:427:37:44

because when I go into the real world, it's just people.

7:37:447:37:47

I want you to conquer the world, do an international tour,

7:37:477:37:50

show a global audience what you can do.

7:37:507:37:52

THEY ALL AGREE ENTHUSIASTICALLY

7:37:527:37:54

As performers in a successful variety show,

7:37:547:37:56

every one of the Muppet characters has their own individual style.

7:37:567:37:59

And the person unless addressed the more is costume designer Rahel.

7:37:597:38:02

We could spend time talking about everybody in the movie,

7:38:027:38:05

but, when it comes to costumes, there's only one person who

7:38:057:38:08

I imagine might be a little diva-ish and that's Miss Piggy, of course.

7:38:087:38:11

-Yes.

-How do you go about designing her costume?

7:38:117:38:13

You know, she's a very classy woman, so we keep it pretty classic.

7:38:137:38:16

A lot of research, especially in the 1930s and '40s.

7:38:167:38:19

-Does she have an opinion on it?

-Oh, she always has an opinion.

7:38:197:38:22

This scene takes place in the Siberian prison

7:38:247:38:26

and as you can see, it's quite a scary place

7:38:267:38:29

with some very scary prisoners.

7:38:297:38:30

And you've got to be really careful with these guys

7:38:307:38:33

because rumour has it, they can burst into song and dance at any moment.

7:38:337:38:36

Three, two, one, playback!

7:38:397:38:41

# There's no feeling feels like that feeling

7:38:417:38:46

# Together again! #

7:38:467:38:52

I'm very proud to present to you, ladies and gentlemen,

7:39:007:39:03

boys and girls, a very impressive lady, pig, lady, who is beautiful in

7:39:037:39:07

person and in spirit and on-screen... Am I getting there with this?

7:39:077:39:11

-That's fine. Superstar will do.

-Are the rumours true?

7:39:117:39:13

Do you have a rider? Do you have to have certain things?

7:39:137:39:16

Yeah, there are a few things that I ask for...nay, demand!

7:39:167:39:20

First of all, I get to take home all the clothes, any props I may fancy.

7:39:207:39:27

You know what else I also get?

7:39:277:39:28

-What?

-I get...

7:39:287:39:30

-I get that hat.

-You get the hat, as well?

-I get that hat.

7:39:307:39:33

-OK.

-It's in my contract. Yeah, I'll show it to you later.

7:39:337:39:36

-OK, that's fine.

-Ta-ta.

-Ta-ta. See you.

7:39:367:39:40

You see, now, I'm really cold.

7:39:407:39:43

..Can she do that?

7:39:437:39:45

# ..Doing a sequel There's no need to disguise

7:39:457:39:49

# The studio considers us a viable franchise

7:39:497:39:53

# We're doing a sequel The studio wants more

7:39:537:39:57

# While they wait for Tom Hanks to make Toy Story 4! #

7:39:577:40:00

You know what, Miss Piggy? What's mine is yours.

7:40:007:40:03

You can have whatever you want!

7:40:037:40:04

Thanks to everyone for giving us the chance to go there

7:40:047:40:07

and bring you that amazing footage from the brand-new movie.

7:40:077:40:10

-I had a great time.

-Do you know what I loved about it?

-Go on.

7:40:107:40:12

Watching Miss Piggy boss you around.

7:40:127:40:14

Yeah, imagine a female character in a studio bossing me around?

7:40:147:40:17

-I can't imagine that!

-Come on, let's go.

-I knew it was coming.

7:40:177:40:20

Have a look at it, covered in all of your creative designs.

7:40:207:40:22

A kaleidoscope of colour here, Lindsey.

7:40:227:40:25

I have to show you this from Tanisha,

7:40:257:40:26

it looks like a beach scene with the Blue Peter badges,

7:40:267:40:29

but we've a purple badge that is reviewing a show online.

7:40:297:40:31

The orange badge is entering a competition, the green badge

7:40:317:40:34

is being all environmental with the tree, the sport badge is inspiring

7:40:347:40:38

the blue badge and the gold badge is saving the silver badge's life!

7:40:387:40:41

-Wow!

-That is well thought out. Love it, thank you.

7:40:417:40:44

This is from Robert.

7:40:447:40:46

This is amazing, because not only is it the Blue Peter ship but...

7:40:467:40:50

SEAGULL CAWS

7:40:507:40:52

How good is that? It makes a sound!

7:40:527:40:54

That may just be the first ever Blue Peter make with its own sound effect,

7:40:547:40:57

I think we've started something brand-new.

7:40:577:41:00

-What else have we got up there?

-We've got Beth from Northern Ireland.

7:41:007:41:03

She's done this amazing one.

7:41:037:41:05

Look, it's a collage, and we all have quite big heads

7:41:057:41:07

and tiny legs, which I really like about it.

7:41:077:41:09

I do in real life, actually, these aren't my legs.

7:41:097:41:12

Kermit the Frog by Adele, that's a great themed photo,

7:41:127:41:15

perfect for today's show, and he's wearing his badge.

7:41:157:41:17

If we take a look at this, there's a great ship theme at the moment

7:41:177:41:21

and Evelyn has designed this. It's a mosaic, so paper cut into squares

7:41:217:41:24

-that make the shape. It's brilliant. Thank you.

-Thank you.

7:41:247:41:27

We love hearing from you, so keep sending your amazing artwork to us.

7:41:277:41:30

And don't forget to tell us where you would go if you had access all areas,

7:41:307:41:34

you can go behind the scenes, it's your choice, let us know.

7:41:347:41:38

DRUMMING

7:41:387:41:40

-I thought that was coming, what are you doing?

-It's a samba drum, Barney.

7:41:407:41:44

OK, what about the feathers, Radzi?

7:41:447:41:46

It's a Brazilian headdress, Lindsey!

7:41:467:41:49

-OK...

-OK, so I'm not that good at playing samba music,

7:41:497:41:52

however, that does not matter

7:41:527:41:54

because there are many people that are

7:41:547:41:55

and that's because I went to a samba band world record attempt

7:41:557:41:59

to launch the Street Child World Cup

7:41:597:42:01

and that's got me feeling all samba-y.

7:42:017:42:03

When you think "Brazil", you might think football...

7:42:037:42:06

..Christ the Redeemer...

7:42:087:42:11

But you also might think samba!

7:42:117:42:13

Samba is Brazil's national dance

7:42:157:42:17

and its carnival rhythms are created by a percussion band

7:42:177:42:20

called a bateria.

7:42:207:42:22

Today, samba comes to the Royal Albert Hall.

7:42:227:42:25

In just a few hours' time

7:42:257:42:27

around 1,700 potential record breakers

7:42:277:42:30

will come together to hopefully form the world's largest samba band!

7:42:307:42:33

I'm really excited because I have being given a special job to do.

7:42:347:42:37

That's to be an official adjudicator on the world-record team.

7:42:377:42:41

Now, I actually don't know what that means,

7:42:417:42:43

but I'm going to find out more in there.

7:42:437:42:45

-Jack, lovely to meet you.

-And to meet you.

7:42:457:42:47

Now, you are a world record senior adjudicator.

7:42:477:42:50

I'm going to be helping out with this event.

7:42:507:42:52

What exactly am I going to be doing?

7:42:527:42:54

So, your job today, with the other stewards, will be

7:42:547:42:57

to make sure that in your group,

7:42:577:42:59

everyone's following the rules, basically.

7:42:597:43:02

What do I need to look out for?

7:43:027:43:03

Firstly, the performance must be of a professional standard.

7:43:037:43:07

They need to know what they're doing,

7:43:077:43:09

not tripping up at all during the playing.

7:43:097:43:10

-What will I need?

-There are a few things you'll need.

7:43:107:43:14

-For a start you'll need these.

-OK, earplugs.

-Earplugs.

-Right.

7:43:147:43:18

Very important. Protect your hearing.

7:43:187:43:20

This clicker, to keep

7:43:207:43:23

a running tally of how many people you've had to discount.

7:43:237:43:26

-And your steward's T-shirt.

-Yes!

7:43:267:43:29

'So it's my job to count anyone that's disqualified.

7:43:297:43:31

'I hope there aren't too many.

7:43:317:43:33

'But to help me get to grips with my role I reckon it's time to

7:43:337:43:36

'meet some of the musicians I'll be keeping an eye on.'

7:43:367:43:38

That was brilliant.

7:43:387:43:40

And you guys are all playing samba instruments, aren't you?

7:43:407:43:43

-Ellie, I love the look of that there. Can I have a go?

-Yeah.

7:43:437:43:47

Thank you. What do I need to play?

7:43:477:43:49

You play the rhythm that is

7:43:497:43:51

# Every-bo-dy play that samba reggae. #

7:43:517:43:54

Samba reggae, right. OK, I'll give it a go.

7:43:547:43:58

# Every-bo-dy play that samba reggae. #

7:43:587:44:01

-Ten out of ten.

-Yes!

7:44:017:44:03

'These kids want to smash the world record and mark the start of their

7:44:057:44:09

'Street Child World Cup, which is about to kick off in Rio de Janeiro.

7:44:097:44:12

'The competition brings together 250 street kids from 19 countries

7:44:127:44:17

'to play football against each other.

7:44:177:44:19

'Four years ago, Blue Peter followed the UK team to the

7:44:197:44:22

'competition in South Africa and it was an experience that

7:44:227:44:25

'Blue Peter presenter Andy Akinwolere will never forget.'

7:44:257:44:29

I took a group of young boys and girls actually from Manchester

7:44:297:44:32

and I mentored them and we went out to South Africa

7:44:327:44:34

and it was a life-changing experience, you know?

7:44:347:44:37

I guess the most important thing about Street Child World Cup

7:44:377:44:39

is that it actually give these kids a reason to be somewhere.

7:44:397:44:44

In their countries, they're kind of invisible,

7:44:447:44:47

but for Street Child World Cup they're actually somebody.

7:44:477:44:49

I absolutely love it

7:44:497:44:50

and what I personally like is the fact it doesn't matter what

7:44:507:44:53

you look like, where you come from, what you sound like, you can

7:44:537:44:56

-come together and you can share an incredible experience.

-Of course.

7:44:567:44:59

-That's why we're here now.

-Yeah. Are you part of it, are you taking part?

7:44:597:45:02

I feel a little bit bad because I'm one of the adjudicators.

7:45:027:45:04

-What, the clicker guys?

-Yeah!

7:45:047:45:05

So, I'm one of the guys that could stop it from being

7:45:057:45:08

an official world record, so I hope everyone does it,

7:45:087:45:11

I hope we get a brand-new world record. That would be incredible.

7:45:117:45:14

'The Royal Albert Hall has filled up fast,

7:45:147:45:16

so I quickly take my adjudicator's position.'

7:45:167:45:19

It's going to be loud.

7:45:197:45:20

I've got my earplugs. And I've got my clicker.

7:45:207:45:24

This is going to be epic.

7:45:247:45:26

-'It's show time.'

-WHISTLE BLOWS

7:45:267:45:29

'The previous world record was set in Sao Paulo in 2011,

7:45:297:45:33

'with 1,038 people.

7:45:337:45:35

'Today, everyone needs to play a five-minute piece together

7:45:357:45:38

'in time to the same samba rhythm and they've only got three attempts.

7:45:387:45:43

'It's such an amazing atmosphere, I actually have to concentrate

7:45:437:45:46

'and remember, this is an official record attempt

7:45:467:45:49

'but let's face it, they're all doing a pretty good job.'

7:45:497:45:52

I'm happy to report that is the number of people that

7:45:547:45:58

I had to click.

7:45:587:45:59

None. They all did it.

7:45:597:46:01

DRUMMING

7:46:037:46:05

'One person wasn't quite good enough to make it,

7:46:087:46:10

'so sadly, on the clicker, we've got one person now.'

7:46:107:46:14

DRUMMING AND WHISTLING

7:46:167:46:19

'And that's it. It's all over.

7:46:257:46:27

'The band has done everything they can do.'

7:46:277:46:30

So, hopefully, one of those attempts will be good enough

7:46:307:46:33

for a new world record.

7:46:337:46:35

I'm so excited and now I've got to go and take this to the senior

7:46:357:46:38

adjudicator and find out the verdict.

7:46:387:46:40

'Locked away in a top-secret room, Jack now has to count

7:46:427:46:45

'and verify every single adjudicator's result.'

7:46:457:46:49

There were a few deductions that had to be made.

7:46:497:46:53

The final number...

7:46:537:46:56

was 1,675.

7:46:567:46:59

-Yes!

-CROWD CHEERS

7:46:597:47:01

We've done it!

7:47:017:47:03

'They've done it! A new world record.'

7:47:037:47:06

-Guys.

-Yeah.

7:47:067:47:08

I've got some news for you.

7:47:087:47:09

We've just broken a brand-new record!

7:47:097:47:11

CHEERING

7:47:117:47:13

Yes, we got the world record.

7:47:157:47:18

Congratulations to everyone that went. What a job.

7:47:187:47:21

So, from music to Mother's Day. Lindsey?

7:47:217:47:24

Another world record on Blue Peter, which is good news, we love it.

7:47:277:47:31

Something that's just around the corner, of course, is Mother's Day.

7:47:317:47:35

That is this Sunday so we will show you how to make a cool creation,

7:47:357:47:38

which is, of course, a Mother's Day card.

7:47:387:47:40

And the cool thing about this card is you can use it for anything.

7:47:407:47:43

Good luck card, be really creative and unique with it.

7:47:437:47:46

I'll just show you there.

7:47:467:47:47

That's what it looks like, like an ordinary Mother's Day card.

7:47:477:47:50

But no, no, because if I get a coin and scratch just here,

7:47:507:47:53

you can see underneath, look at that!

7:47:537:47:56

It's me as a baby with my mum. Aww!

7:47:567:48:00

So, we are going to show you how to make it.

7:48:007:48:03

Here to help, I've got Max, Robyn, Nathan and Olivia. Hello, guys.

7:48:037:48:07

Thank you very much for coming in.

7:48:077:48:08

Remember, all the details are on the website.

7:48:087:48:11

Shall we get started? What will we need, Nathan?

7:48:117:48:16

Washing up liquid. Acrylic paint.

7:48:167:48:19

Sticky-back plastic and some scissors.

7:48:197:48:22

Cool. Very nice. What else are we going to need, Robyn?

7:48:227:48:25

There's more, isn't there?

7:48:257:48:27

Some paintbrushes, coloured card, and decorations.

7:48:277:48:30

Beautifully said. Thank you very much.

7:48:307:48:32

Now, let's get started. First thing we need to do is in here.

7:48:327:48:36

We've already mixed some washing-up liquid,

7:48:367:48:39

one part of that with two parts paint.

7:48:397:48:41

I've gone for purple because it's my favourite colour.

7:48:417:48:44

If you need help measuring it,

7:48:447:48:45

just get one tablespoon of washing-up liquid

7:48:457:48:47

and two tablespoons of paint, any colour.

7:48:477:48:50

And then, use a nice dollop of it

7:48:507:48:52

and get that onto your sticky-back plastic,

7:48:527:48:55

on to the shiny side.

7:48:557:48:57

Use any colour you want.

7:48:577:48:59

And you can even mix the colours if you're feeling creative

7:48:597:49:02

and I'm actually going to do two coats there

7:49:027:49:05

to make it nice and thick, because that will cover the hidden message.

7:49:057:49:09

You need to leave this to dry. Going to get that out of the way.

7:49:097:49:13

If it's a little bit see-through, do a couple of coats.

7:49:137:49:16

Once it's dry, we can get our shape on the back.

7:49:167:49:19

You need to turn it over and decide what shape to go for, with a pencil.

7:49:197:49:22

-What have you gone for, guys, Olivia?

-A flower.

7:49:227:49:25

A flower! Because it's springtime. I like that a lot.

7:49:257:49:28

-What about you, Nathan?

-A piggy face.

7:49:287:49:31

OK! You've gone for a piggy face for your mum?

7:49:317:49:34

-Do you think she'll mind?

-No.

-OK, good! I'm glad!

7:49:347:49:38

I am going to not risk that for my mum. She might tell me off.

7:49:387:49:41

But I am going to go for a little heart to show that I love her.

7:49:417:49:44

There we go. Once you've done your heart, nice and neatly,

7:49:447:49:49

carefully pick up some scissors and start to cut it out, like so.

7:49:497:49:55

Now, mine's got a bit stuck there, I'll use some different scissors.

7:49:557:49:59

Be quite careful here because you don't want to rub

7:49:597:50:02

any of the paint off on the other side.

7:50:027:50:04

There we go. Robyn, what shapes have you gone for?

7:50:047:50:07

Who are you making yours for?

7:50:077:50:09

For my friend, because it's almost her birthday.

7:50:097:50:12

Ooh, nice, thinking ahead. I like that.

7:50:127:50:14

-And what have you gone for, flowers?

-Yes.

7:50:147:50:16

With googly eyes, which I really like. That's a good touch.

7:50:167:50:19

You can be as creative as you want.

7:50:197:50:21

Once you've cut out your heart,

7:50:217:50:23

like so, it is time to get it onto your card.

7:50:237:50:27

So, I'm going to get my card, and this is what you are going to

7:50:277:50:31

use as a template so you know where your secret message is going.

7:50:317:50:35

So, I've got my pencil. Going to draw around the heart

7:50:357:50:38

so I know exactly where to put my message, like so.

7:50:387:50:42

It can be quite rough.

7:50:427:50:44

Now, inside this shape that I've just drawn here,

7:50:447:50:47

is where I am going to put, "I love you, Mum." Aww!

7:50:477:50:52

How nice is that? Or you can do what I did before

7:50:527:50:54

and cut out a nice photo to put inside.

7:50:547:50:57

Then it is time for the tricky part.

7:50:577:51:00

This is when you peel off the sticky-back plastic from your shape,

7:51:007:51:04

it can be a bit fiddly.

7:51:047:51:06

Be careful not to knock any paint. You don't want to scratch it.

7:51:067:51:09

I'm going to use one from here. There we go.

7:51:097:51:11

Then you just stick it over your secret message, like so,

7:51:117:51:14

and now is the really cool part, because you get to decorate it.

7:51:147:51:18

-How are we getting on, Max?

-Yeah...

7:51:187:51:20

-There's a lot of glitter. Who are you making yours for?

-My mum.

7:51:207:51:23

Oh, look at this. You're making it for your mum.

7:51:237:51:26

-What does your mum like doing?

-Music, and watching movies.

7:51:267:51:30

That is absolutely perfect.

7:51:307:51:31

There's a nice shooting star on there as well,

7:51:317:51:33

which I love. Well done.

7:51:337:51:35

Remember, it's not just for Mother's Day,

7:51:357:51:37

you can use these for everything. That's why they're a great idea.

7:51:377:51:40

Keep decorating, guys. Thank you for joining me in the studio today,

7:51:407:51:43

you've been brilliant.

7:51:437:51:45

If you make one at home, remember to e-mail us...

7:51:457:51:47

We'll put as many as we can online on our makes and bakes gallery.

7:51:497:51:53

Thank you, guys. Over to you, boys!

7:51:537:51:54

Thanks, Linz, I can watch Lindsey all day, she's amazing.

7:51:547:51:57

And she hasn't changed a bit since that baby photo.

7:51:577:51:59

She hasn't, no. She's got more of a hairy lip!

7:51:597:52:01

-We hope that's inspired you

-HE LAUGHS

7:52:017:52:03

to have a go at making your own card!

7:52:037:52:05

You are being cheeky today!

7:52:057:52:07

I can hear everything you say! You watch it!

7:52:077:52:09

You've only got until Sunday to get those cards ready, so get making!

7:52:097:52:13

At the start of the show, we asked you if you could go

7:52:137:52:15

anywhere behind the scenes, where would you go?

7:52:157:52:18

We had loads of comments in.

7:52:187:52:19

We have. Camera two! Purple Knitting ladybird.

7:52:197:52:21

"I would go to Buckingham Palace so that I could meet the Queen

7:52:217:52:24

"and the rest of the royal family." She's amazing, by the way.

7:52:247:52:26

-And, hopefully, meet Prince George.

-Oh, that'd be so cute. Radzi.

7:52:267:52:29

Yellow Fruity Chicken says I'd go behind-the-scenes

7:52:297:52:32

at an England rugby game.

7:52:327:52:33

-You'd enjoy that.

-That's a good one.

7:52:337:52:35

Silver Hilarious Mouse says

7:52:357:52:36

I would go behind-the-scenes to Young Dracula

7:52:367:52:38

because I'm a massive fan. Quite right!

7:52:387:52:40

Such a great series.

7:52:407:52:42

Violet Creative Hyena - these names are getting better every week -

7:52:427:52:45

"I would like to go behind-the-scenes of a museum."

7:52:457:52:47

Because all the exhibits, all the really scary things,

7:52:477:52:49

are kept behind doors, aren't they? That's a great idea.

7:52:497:52:52

Byzantium Zany Badger says "I'd go to a zoo, because I love animals."

7:52:527:52:55

Be careful! If there is a tiger and there's no-one there,

7:52:557:52:57

you could get hurt! Be careful, be careful!

7:52:577:52:59

Lindsey, you can't read the next one.

7:52:597:53:02

No, no, I'm reading that one, you skip it.

7:53:027:53:04

Appetite Pancake Jellyfish says

7:53:047:53:06

"Lindsey Russell's dressing room.

7:53:067:53:08

"I'd love to see all of her make-up

7:53:087:53:09

"and chocolates and outfits that make her beautiful."

7:53:097:53:12

Wait a second. She gets make-up and chocolates?!

7:53:127:53:14

Ha! Very good point! What's happened to ours?

7:53:147:53:16

Not having that! Get my manager on the phone, immediately!

7:53:167:53:20

Violet Unicorn says, "I would go on the set of MI High."

7:53:207:53:23

Guess who's done that? Radzi! And how was it?

7:53:237:53:25

It was wicked, actually. It was so, so good. Living the dream.

7:53:257:53:29

Lion Whizzing Whale says

7:53:297:53:30

"I would go behind-the-scenes on Blue Peter!

7:53:307:53:33

"It's my favourite show." Correct!

7:53:337:53:35

We know what you're doing. Blue Violet Hilarious Owl says,

7:53:357:53:37

"I would go to the place where they make ice cream

7:53:377:53:39

"because I love ice cream."

7:53:397:53:41

Thank you very much for getting in touch.

7:53:417:53:43

We love hearing from you. Now, though, something very special.

7:53:437:53:46

It's musical and you're going to love it.

7:53:467:53:49

Fronted by lead singer and coach on The Voice UK, Ricky Wilson,

7:53:497:53:52

Kaiser Chiefs stormed the indie music scene ten years ago.

7:53:527:53:56

They've won a whole host of awards, released four top-ten albums

7:53:567:53:59

and topped the charts with Ruby.

7:53:597:54:01

-# Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby!

-Ah-ah-ah... #

7:54:017:54:05

Now, they're back with a new single and fifth studio album.

7:54:057:54:09

# We'll write it down... #

7:54:097:54:11

Alongside will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, and pop princess Kylie Minogue,

7:54:117:54:14

Ricky is preparing for the semifinals on The Voice UK.

7:54:147:54:17

Luckily for us, he's joining us here in the Blue Peter studio.

7:54:187:54:22

Give it up for The Kaiser Chiefs!

7:54:247:54:26

APPLAUSE

7:54:267:54:28

-Great to be here.

-So good to have you here.

7:54:287:54:30

-Oh, no, thank you.

-Thank you for coming in.

7:54:307:54:32

I've waited a long time for this.

7:54:327:54:34

Thank you for wearing your badges with pride.

7:54:347:54:36

Wouldn't have it any other way.

7:54:367:54:37

Our Blue Peter audience are brilliant at sending stuff in.

7:54:377:54:41

Look at this, it came this morning. it's from Jaffa.

7:54:417:54:44

-It is a picture of you. How good is that?

-Thanks, Jaffa!

7:54:447:54:46

So, we thought we'd present you with that.

7:54:467:54:49

I've got a special room in my house for all these.

7:54:497:54:51

-On the wall.

-Yeah.

7:54:517:54:52

Now. It's your first series of The Voice. You are a coach.

7:54:527:54:56

-How have you been finding it?

-Thanks, Jaffa!

7:54:567:54:58

How have I found it? It's been fun, I've learned a lot!

7:54:587:55:01

I didn't think I'd learn as much as I have.

7:55:017:55:03

But, yeah, I've had a really good time.

7:55:037:55:05

It's the first semifinal this weekend. Are you nervous, excited?

7:55:057:55:08

Nervous! It's going on TV!

7:55:087:55:10

-You must be nervous every single day you come on Blue Peter.

-Hmm, yeah!

7:55:107:55:13

So, I think nerves are a good thing

7:55:137:55:15

because it shows you care about it. I'm enjoying it.

7:55:157:55:17

Speaking of people you're working with,

7:55:177:55:19

you're working with Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue and will.i.am.

7:55:197:55:22

Quite a line-up. What are they like?

7:55:227:55:24

It is. They're great people and I have learned a lot,

7:55:247:55:26

and especially from them three,

7:55:267:55:28

because they've been doing it a long time and they know how to do it.

7:55:287:55:31

They do. And it's the first Kaiser Chiefs single in quite a few years.

7:55:317:55:34

How do you feel to be back on the music scene?

7:55:347:55:36

We're really excited about it.

7:55:367:55:37

We can't wait to get out there and play it live.

7:55:377:55:39

And it's brilliant to be invited on shows like this

7:55:397:55:42

and be able to play it to people. We're really excited about it.

7:55:427:55:44

We're really excited, too. When's the new album out?

7:55:447:55:47

It's out Monday, 31st March.

7:55:477:55:48

It's called Education, Education, Education and War.

7:55:487:55:51

-And it's awesome!

-Yes!

7:55:517:55:53

Thank you very much, Ricky.

7:55:537:55:54

I'm going to let you set up, and while you do that,

7:55:547:55:56

just time to tell you what's coming up on next week's Blue Peter.

7:55:567:55:59

It's going to be explosive, quite literally.

7:55:597:56:01

You're looking at 9,000 tonnes of concrete.

7:56:017:56:04

Can they come down safely without damaging the area around?

7:56:047:56:07

Make sure you're watching to find out.

7:56:077:56:08

If you've heard of superstar singing and songwriting sensation,

7:56:087:56:11

Tich, she's going to be singing in the studio

7:56:117:56:13

and helping me with a fashion make.

7:56:137:56:16

And on top of all that fun, we're going to have owls in the studio.

7:56:167:56:19

I was playing pool with an owl last week.

7:56:197:56:22

I hit the white ball in and went, "Hang on, that's two hits."

7:56:227:56:24

He went, "Two hits to who?!"

7:56:247:56:26

SILENCE

7:56:267:56:27

OK, see you later, we're delighted to have them in the studio,

7:56:277:56:30

they are amazing. It's Kaiser Chiefs with their new single, Coming Home!

7:56:307:56:33

APPLAUSE AND WHOOPING

7:56:337:56:35

# Do you wish you got your homework done?

7:56:467:56:49

# Do you wish you had not said "bum"?

7:56:497:56:52

# Do you wish you hadn't come, oh, no

7:56:527:56:55

# Gotta go

7:56:557:56:56

# Do you wish you that you could stay up late?

7:56:577:56:59

# Do you wish you had some roller skates?

7:56:597:57:02

# Do you wish you hadn't come?

7:57:027:57:05

# Oh, no, gotta go

7:57:057:57:06

# Gotta roll

7:57:067:57:08

# May I remind you?

7:57:087:57:11

# May I remind you that you got nowhere to go?

7:57:117:57:14

# So, I'm staying beside you

7:57:187:57:21

# I'm staying beside you till you find a way back home

7:57:217:57:25

# We're coming home

7:57:307:57:32

# We're coming home

7:57:327:57:34

# We'll light a fire

7:57:347:57:37

# We're coming home

7:57:377:57:40

# We'll write it down

7:57:407:57:43

# We'll write it all down

7:57:437:57:50

# And we're dancing on the finest line

7:58:007:58:03

# Between the chance of the time of your lives

7:58:037:58:06

# Wishing you were done, Oh, no, gotta run

7:58:067:58:11

# And we're choosing not to make that choice

7:58:117:58:14

# We lose our shoes, our voice

7:58:147:58:16

# But we have a lot of fun on the way, you wanna play?

7:58:167:58:20

# You gotta come

7:58:207:58:22

# May I remind you?

7:58:227:58:25

# May I remind that you've got nowhere to go?

7:58:257:58:29

# So, I'm staying beside you

7:58:327:58:35

# Staying beside you till you find a way back home

7:58:357:58:43

# We're coming home

7:58:437:58:46

# We're coming home

7:58:467:58:49

# Light a fire

7:58:497:58:51

# We're coming home

7:58:517:58:54

# We'll write it down

7:58:547:58:57

# We'll write it all down

7:58:577:59:04

# Then it all comes flooding back to me

7:59:057:59:08

# Like a forgotten melody

7:59:087:59:14

# We're coming home

7:59:367:59:38

# We're coming home

7:59:387:59:41

# Light a fire, we're coming home

7:59:417:59:46

# We'll write it all down

7:59:497:59:57

# We're coming home
