Hello, welcome back, Kickabouters, and a happy New Year to you all.

Have we got a lot to catch up on!

Here's what's coming up on today's show.

Scorpion kicks, record breakers and managerial mayhem.

We review a stonking festive period of

footie.

And New Year means new shows on CBBC, we have exclusive

behind-the-scenes access to the new series of

Jeremy Johnson chats to

Wolfblood star Louis Payne about his favourite team.

And with just a week to go before our Ronaldo special,

stand by for some astonishing numbers in the Cristiano stat

attack.

All that and we've got the third round of the FA Cup to look

forward to this weekend, whey-hey!

Before we do that, though, it is time to look back

on the Christmas period that provided a feast of

football that we have less and bitter taste for Tyler and John

Farnworth.

Anyway, I feel a time challenge coming on so here

is my 90 second festive

round-up.

Chelsea put themselves well and truly on top

of the Christmas tree and the Premier League table with some

mighty fine results.

That is until Spurs beat them on Wednesday.

Preventing them breaking the record for consecutive wins in the Premier

League, but hey, if you are looking for record breakers then look no

further than our old friends TNS, the Welsh Premier League leaders

have smashed the world record for consecutive wins,

one that has stood since 1972.

So far, it is 27 victories and the New Saints sure no

sign of losing just yet.

Back in the English Premier League, Liverpool

have had a good run and are closest to catching Chelsea, but Man City

have had a mixed Christmas, isn't that right, Pep?

Awkward!

Arsenal have also faltered but Olivier Girou

set everyone up by scoring an incredible

Scorpion kick, which was a

lot like the spectacular effort Henrikh Mkhitaryan

netted for Man U just

one week earlier.

Even though he was clearly offside.

Meanwhile, down in the bottom half of the table,

despite the cold weather, managers have been feeling the heat.

Where is my merry-go-round?

Ah, here we are, and look at this.

Three likely suspects at the frontier, poor old

Bob Bradley didn't last long and Swansea, did he?

Paul Clement has come in to replace him.

And Alan Pardew got the boot from Crystal

Palace, only to be replaced by big Sam.

Remember him?

And finally, Hull parting company with Mike Phelan and

have just appointed Marco Silva.

No,I hadn't heard of him, either.

Stop the clock!

That's it.

But the news never stops in the football world so

let's bring you bang up-to-date with this weeks 's headline hitters.

There seems to be no end to the spending power

of the Chinese super league, with some of the world's

biggest stars being lured by some frankly ridiculous sums of cash.

Oscar has gone from Chelsea and former Man United and Man City

striker Carlos Teves got the biggest deal of the lot so far.

Who will be next?

Meanwhile, Match Of The Day's December goal of the month

was this fine finish from five-year old Bradley Lowry, the Sunderland

fan is currently receiving treatment for cancer, and everyone at

Kickabout wishes him all the best.

And I am delighted to see our very own Alex Scott received an MBE in

the Queens New Year 's honours.

Well done, Alex!

But does that mean I have two curtsied next time you own

Kickabout?

Alex Scott wasn't the only one to receive an honour in the

New Year 's list, one of England's greatest

goalkeepers also got a

gong, not too hard but Maggie Hinch, the hero of Team GB's gold-medal

winning hockey team.

Hi, I'm Maggie Hinch, Great Britain hockey

goalkeeper and this is my dream five is football team.

First up is the goalkeeper and I have chosen myself,

obviously!

I am a little bit small for a football goal, but I reckon I

could do a pretty good job.

So, in defence I've gone for Des Walker

because I am a Sheffield Wednesday fan and he is an absolute Sheffield

Wednesday legend.

In midfield I have gone with Messi, obvious choice

because he is an absolute legend, the best football player in the

world in my opinion.

And then next to him I have gone with Gareth Bale,

I think he would wake up nicely with Messi and provides those

crosses that he needs.

Upfront I have chosen Marcus Rushford, I have watched him

play a little bit now and I think he is a really exciting talent

upfront and it seems to find the back of the

net quite regularly.

Brilliant goal!

That is a wonderful goal!

And that is my dream five aside team.

Now I know how you might be feeling, the Christmas

holidays are over, the chocolate are all gone in school has already

started for many of you but don't despair!

Because here on CBBC the New Year means some great new shows

are coming your way, including a brand-new

season of Wolfblood.

Because we love the show so much we managed to get an exclusive

interview during a break in filming.

It turns out Louis Payne who plays TJ is just a little bit potty about

his footie.

Hello, Kickabout fans, my name is Louis Payne but you may know

me as TJ from Wolfblood.

I'm here today on the set of Wolfblood series

five and this series is going to be better and better than ever so make

sure you're tuned in, yeah?

OK, so I have a massive Arsenal fan, I go

home and away as much as I can, I am a season ticket holder as well so,

come on the Gunners!

I think we have had a half decent start to the

season, slipped up a little bit against Liverpool but we seem to

have come into our own and got into second gear

so I am quite hopeful.

I don't want to say too much because as Arsenal fans we know

we can be disappointed a lot but I have got a

good feeling about this season.

I have got a couple of favourite players, one is Hector Bellerin I

think he is very underrated and a great attribute to the club.

Bellerin instead, a fast break, great

goal!

And also, Alex Iwobi, he is only 19.

He has been brilliantly found, he will have to

get back.

The best Wolfblood probably would be, probably Mesut Ozil

because I don't know he just strikes me as that sort of face

or he can sort of like, he was angry he could

be, like, raar!

Good visual effects on the eyes.

I have always dreamt of scoring a goal last-minute

one, Champions League final against Barcelona,

run the length of the pitch, right down in front of the

Arsenal fans, that would be amazing.

Brilliant!

But Wolfblood is not the only CBBC show

back for a new series in

2017.

Footy drama Jaimie Johnson returns this year, too, so we

thought we would tackled filming day and give you an look

behind-the-scenes.

I am Lewis and I played Jamie Johnson.

My name is Leonard and

I play Jack Marshall.

My name is Sam Torbert and I am the series

producer of Jamie Johnson.

I am Patrick Ward and I played Dylan Simons.

Hi, I am Jonnie Kimmins, I play Boggy on Jamie Johnson.

And at the moment we are filming episode

ten, we are actually here.

We are filming lots of scenes where my team

are losing to the other team and they are really being beaten and

beaten and beaten.

Jamie Johnson in this season is playing in a

tournament as part of the school team, as part of the UK interschool

football league championship.

This series has been the best series because everyone on the set has

been, like, the nicest and kindest, I have never had this experience

before.

He is not your stereotypical good guy, but he is a brilliant

character and he has so much passion on the football pitch.

And he's very confident.

Being an actor is fun, it is quite diverse and you learn a lot

being on set.

We all miss school a bit, but we all have a good time

when we are in shooting and after touching.

Jack is a role model to girls out there because football is

a men and women's sport.

People might think it is a men sport but it

really isn't.

There is something for everybody in Jamie Johnson, and

without spoiling it we have a certain ex-England captain,

Liverpool midfield striker starting the season,

and some other very, very special cameos which were

lovely to have.

Watch this space.

This weekend it is all about the FA Cup, it is

third-round time which means the big boys are in the mix and there are a

whopping 32 games altogether this weekend but he was my pick of the

fixtures.

Take a look at this.

Man United host Redding, who are flying

high in the championships.

Could there be an upset the?

We also have Everton V Leicester in an all

Premier League clash against Chelsea host Peterborough, now Chelsea

slipped up at Spurs recently, might there

be another banana skin on the

cards there?

Who knows?

It is only one week to go until our kickabout

Ronaldo special and on Monday he is the Fifa world

player of the year.

Why?

Let me hit you with a few Ronaldo stats.

surprisingly this is the most in the history of the league.

20, major trophies he has won for club and

country.

Two more than Manchester City since 1894.

17, goals Ronaldo scored in a single Champions League

campaign.

That is more than Diego Costa scored in the whole of last

season.

503 career goals, that is more than Sergio Aguero, Harry Caine

in Jamie Vardy added together.

Truly, incredible.

But the stats don't tell the whole story.

To do that we had to go back to where it

all began, the island of Madeira and a young

man who dreamt of being the

greatest.

When you see to a young kid of the time, work and you never

know what is going to happen,...
