-and they haven't stopped since.

-Tonight, they launch a new album,

-which has received rave reviews.

-the official Euro 2016 video game.

-It has the Welshman, Gareth Bale

-on the front of the case.

-It's also available to use in the

-Welsh language for the first time.

-Tell us about your year so far.

-It's been great

-since the Folk Awards last year.

-We won Best Album

-and have been busy ever since.

-We started working

-on the next album.

-We recorded it nine months later.

-It took six years

-for the first album...

-..and have released

-two albums in the last two years!

-It's been a great year

-and we're in a good place.

-We enjoyed an excerpt from Llyn Du

-but what else can we expect?

-The new album is a progression

-from the previous album.

-It features folk songs

-and also some Cerdd Dant.

-It's got the usual 9Bach sound

-with a lot of guitars and drums.

-And wonderful vocals.

-Tell us about your forthcoming tour.

-We're on tour during May

-and the dates are on our website.

-The important dates in Wales

-is at Cardigan this Sunday...

-..Cardiff 21 May

-and Caernarfon on 27 May.

-You'll be on the road for some time.

-It's a big tour and bands don't

-normally do big tours like this.

-9Bach make things

-difficult for themselves!

-We're hard workers and want

-to get out music out there.

-Consequently,

-you've got to work hard to do this.

-We're looking forward to it.

-We've seen an excerpt for the video

-for Llyn Du and it looks fantastic.

-Where did you film it?

-We shot it quite quickly in a spot

-we are all fond of namely Cwm Idwal.

-It's only ten minutes away

-from Bethesda.

-It acts as my playground

-and I take my children there.

-It's also got

-an Un Nos Ola Leuad feeling...

-..as the song Llyn Du

-is based on Un Nos Ola Leuad.

-It was very cold and the warden

-asked us kindly not to go there.

-But Aled and I took our camera

-and decided to go there.

-We were almost

-blown off the mountain.

-The things you do for your art!

-Are you excited about the launch?

-We can't wait

-and we recorded it live.

-It's a new process for us and we've

-been together for almost a decade.

-It was lovely to do it together

-in the same room.

-I can't wait for people

-to finally hear it.

-Congratulations on your new role.

-How's it all going?

-I've got a great team behind me.

-It's the best job I've had.

-I never worked

-in the agricultural world before.

-It's exciting for me.

-Your background is the army.

-My family were from Ceredigion.

-I've spend some time in London.

-We wanted to raise our children

-in Wales.

-I feel strongly about Wales and

-Ceredigion...

-..where my roots lie.

-I'm also drawn back to the area.

-I also married someone from the

-area.

-I look forward to helping people and

-changing the sector in my new role.

-I want a better future for

-the agricultural world in Wales.

-We'll chat again

-before the end of the programme.

-Earlier this week,

-Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen in Caernarfon...

-..hosted a pianothon

-and Gerallt was there on our behalf.

-One old piano and young hands is

-all that's needed for a pianothon.

-Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen hope more music

-will be heard thanks to this event.

-The pianothon is part of a campaign

-by the music department...

-..to raise funds for new computers.

-Over 200 pupils are taking part...

-..with the aim of non-stop

-piano playing for seven hours.

-We found an old piano in a cupboard

-and decided to paint it white.

-The pupils who are playing will sign

-the piano after they've finished.

-APPLAUSE

-I played Sul Vecchio by Bach.

-Today is an important day as we're

-raising money for new computers.

-The computers enable us to compose

-music with a variety of instruments.

-I'm a former student of the school.

-The music lessons have changed

-dramatically since my time here.

-These Apple Mac computers

-enable the students to play...

-..and input a variety of instruments

-into the same piece.

-We're celebrating and enjoying

-this pianothon.

-Computers are a great help

-during our music lessons.

-They help us to compose pieces

-including Jazz and Cerdd Dant.

-We've had a lot of fun working

-on pieces of music from Jamaica.

-It's claimed that men

-are unable to multitask...

-..but Dewi Ellis Jones

-is an exception to that rule.

-You're happy to support

-the pianothon, Dewi.

-Yes, it's wonderful to help

-raise money for the school.

-I usually teach the drums, but I'm

-enjoying playing the piano today.

-and it's absolutely fantastic.

-The standard is higher than it's

-ever been especially the dramas.

-There are many co-productions

-in the drama and factual fields.

-Sport has provided us

-with an amazing category.

-The countries that were nominated

-..were Wales, Ireland, Scotland,

-Cornwall, Galicia and Brittany.

-I worked on Paotred Al Loc'h.

-It's about two men who get married.

-It's a story of love

-and is very romantic.

-I'm delighted.

-I didn't expect to win

-after seeing the shortlist.

-There were comedy panel shows,

-sketches from BBC4...

-..Radio Cymru and BBC Scotland.

-The standard was impeccable.

-They said Gaelgairi was original,

-different, unique and stood out.

-I'm in complete shock,

-but extremely happy.

-The standard is very high

-so I'm very glad to be here.

-There was also success for the Welsh

-in the Young People category...

-..with the Fog of Sex programme.

-We received another award for Best

-Single Drama with Yr Ymadawiad...

-..a dark and chilling film by S4C.

-It's great news for the film.

-I didn't write the film

-but Gareth Bryn was the director.

-I was one of the producers

-along with Kate Crowther.

-Everyone is chuffed to bits

-and it's great for the entire team.

-Everyone worked hard on it

-and it was a passion-project for us.
