Innova Irish Dance Company was founded in March 2013.

0:00:090:00:13

What we do is promote festival dancing with a modern twist.

0:00:150:00:18

That's very much what Innova's about.

0:00:180:00:20

Innovation, about doing something that nobody else is.

0:00:200:00:24

A year later, their Britain's Got Talent audition

0:00:260:00:29

made headlines across the UK and Ireland,

0:00:290:00:31

when they danced their way through to the semifinals of the show.

0:00:310:00:35

Britain's Got Talent was an absolutely amazing experience.

0:00:370:00:40

It is definitely one I would love to relive over and over again.

0:00:400:00:43

Their unique brand of tradition with a twist has seen them

0:00:450:00:48

excel on the competition stage as well as on-screen.

0:00:480:00:51

It has been 20 years since Riverdance, and to even get

0:00:540:00:57

close to their success would be incredible for Innova.

0:00:570:01:01

This is a year in the life of Innova Irish Dance Company.

0:01:010:01:05

Innova is based in the coastal town of Portstewart,

0:01:170:01:20

on Northern Ireland's north coast.

0:01:200:01:22

It's a collaboration between Catherine Lamont,

0:01:240:01:27

Kyra Archibald and Emma McKeary -

0:01:270:01:30

local festival dancers who have been performing since the age of three.

0:01:300:01:34

As lovers of both traditional and modern dance and music,

0:01:370:01:41

and with a burning desire to fuse the two,

0:01:410:01:44

they have raised the profile of festival dancing around the world.

0:01:440:01:48

Festival dancing is confined to Northern Ireland,

0:01:500:01:53

and has a more conservative approach to music and presentation

0:01:530:01:56

than it's bigger, brighter cousin, feis dancing.

0:01:560:02:00

Festival dancing, I feel, has been sort of the one

0:02:020:02:04

that people don't know about as much.

0:02:040:02:07

Feis, through Riverdance and those big shows,

0:02:070:02:10

it's probably what people associate Irish dancing with.

0:02:100:02:13

It's maybe a bit more along the ballet line,

0:02:130:02:16

a bit more about expression of the music.

0:02:160:02:18

So we want to kind of show the wider world all the beauty in it,

0:02:180:02:22

that maybe isn't seen as much.

0:02:220:02:24

It is the sort of thing that you really need to be

0:02:240:02:27

starting at a young age if you're going to master it completely.

0:02:270:02:31

'Tonight is a performance rehearsal for the junior group.'

0:02:330:02:36

Stamp up, two, three. Stamp up, hands. Stamp up, two, three.

0:02:360:02:39

Stamp up and go.

0:02:390:02:40

Dey, dey, dey, dey, dey.

0:02:400:02:42

Dey, dey, dey, dey.

0:02:420:02:44

They are eight, nine, ten, eleven,

0:02:440:02:46

so you can't really be too hard on them,

0:02:460:02:48

but it is stuff that we have done before,

0:02:480:02:50

so I'm just kind of hoping that as we go through it more,

0:02:500:02:53

and as we put the music on,

0:02:530:02:54

then it will suddenly come flooding back to them

0:02:540:02:56

and it will be, "Oh, yes, I remember that now."

0:02:560:02:58

We just love working with children, we love teaching children,

0:02:580:03:01

and it is just great to see them progress through the years

0:03:010:03:04

as an Irish dancer.

0:03:040:03:05

One, two, three, four, five, six...

0:03:050:03:08

It is very much the same ethos of, yes, we do tradition,

0:03:130:03:16

but we do tradition with a twist as well,

0:03:160:03:18

and that goes right down into the juniors.

0:03:180:03:20

So they don't just get landed with the traditional stuff

0:03:200:03:24

without anything that is a bit fun or a bit more exciting.

0:03:240:03:27

The modern music that we use and the modern moves as well,

0:03:270:03:31

I think that's something that is quite distinct just to us,

0:03:310:03:34

and we definitely like it to be our wee thing.

0:03:340:03:36

It makes us different.

0:03:360:03:38

With their upcoming performance

0:03:540:03:55

on the Britain's Got Talent semifinals just days away,

0:03:550:03:58

the Innova seniors 15-strong dance troupe

0:03:580:04:01

can usually be found practising late into the night...

0:04:010:04:04

in Catherine's garage.

0:04:040:04:06

One, two, three, fly.

0:04:060:04:08

The routine that we are putting together at the minute,

0:04:120:04:15

we've done a wee one's version, and an older one's version.

0:04:150:04:17

So we know the wee one's version,

0:04:170:04:18

-so we are going into the wee one's version.

-So confused!

0:04:180:04:21

And then it is like, "Oh, no, wait,

0:04:210:04:22

"that's for the wee ones, that's not ours."

0:04:220:04:24

But hopefully it will all come together.

0:04:240:04:27

On the day, yes, we tend to pull together...out of nowhere.

0:04:290:04:32

I don't know where it comes from.

0:04:320:04:34

But we just... The teamwork comes through.

0:04:340:04:36

And we just know what to do.

0:04:360:04:38

The competition season has not yet finished,

0:04:400:04:42

and school exams are also underway.

0:04:420:04:45

So the girls' stress levels are in danger of overload.

0:04:450:04:50

Our girls are very, very good.

0:04:500:04:51

They want to go to competitions just as much as they do performance,

0:04:510:04:55

which is what we would really encourage,

0:04:550:04:57

because they both do go hand-in-hand together.

0:04:570:05:00

If you are a great competition dancer,

0:05:000:05:02

your performance work is going to be even better

0:05:020:05:05

because you are a better dancer, simple as that.

0:05:050:05:08

But first things first, the girls have got a show to put on.

0:05:080:05:12

And their costumes aren't going to make themselves.

0:05:120:05:15

-Hi.

-Hello. Brought some more for the fittings.

0:05:220:05:26

This will be the first time she sees the full thing ready,

0:05:260:05:30

so it is just a more modern take on what we already had.

0:05:300:05:34

Ready? Let's see it.

0:05:340:05:36

-Do you like it?

-That's stunning.

0:05:360:05:38

Normally our own costumes would all be made of velvet,

0:05:380:05:41

where as obviously you can see

0:05:410:05:42

that we've just kept a bit of the tradition in the skirt

0:05:420:05:45

and then a little bit of a shoulder showing.

0:05:450:05:48

-Shoulders peeping out.

-Shoulders peeping out.

0:05:480:05:50

And different detail in the arms as well.

0:05:500:05:52

-It is itchy.

-It is itchy, yes.

0:05:520:05:54

That's the one thing! But no pain, no gain.

0:05:540:05:58

-Hello.

-Hiya.

-Oh, it is lovely.

0:05:580:06:02

It is beautiful.

0:06:020:06:05

-Go away.

-SHE LAUGHS

0:06:050:06:07

Lovely. You're making my tears run.

0:06:070:06:10

-THEY LAUGH

-Mummy, Mummy, Mummy.

0:06:100:06:12

It's the big day, and the seniors have gathered

0:06:190:06:21

for their two-hour bus trip to Belfast

0:06:210:06:24

and hour-long flight to London.

0:06:240:06:26

On board, Catherine's mother, Patricia,

0:06:310:06:34

is nervous about the upcoming competition.

0:06:340:06:37

Up until now, it has only been the judges,

0:06:370:06:39

so now it is public voting, and that's...

0:06:390:06:42

It is almost like an unknown quantity.

0:06:420:06:45

The girls are very popular anyway, especially on the north coast.

0:06:450:06:48

As you're going up the country, and you're seeing signs

0:06:480:06:50

and posters up, you know, you're getting messages from Facebook

0:06:500:06:54

and Twitter and all the rest.

0:06:540:06:55

Hopefully, everybody will be behind us.

0:06:550:06:57

THEY CHEER

0:06:570:07:00

I will be voting, and my family will be voting, too.

0:07:020:07:04

HE LAUGHS

0:07:040:07:06

As Belfast nears, the girls reflect on their Britain's Got Talent debut.

0:07:070:07:12

A couple of acts before us got buzzed,

0:07:120:07:14

-and how loud were the buzzers?

-So loud.

0:07:140:07:17

Like, you know, everybody says it,

0:07:170:07:19

but it actually goes through your body.

0:07:190:07:20

If they'd buzzed, we would all stop for a minute and be,

0:07:200:07:23

"Oh, my God!" And it would be so hard to get back into the dance.

0:07:230:07:26

-I would be so heartbroken.

-I wouldn't even come home.

0:07:260:07:29

-I would be...

-Just get on another fight somewhere.

0:07:290:07:32

Before we went on stage, the crew were like,

0:07:340:07:37

"Simon's in a bad mood today."

0:07:370:07:38

When we first went on, he was very, like, negative.

0:07:380:07:41

He was like, "We've seen this all before, Irish dancing."

0:07:410:07:44

And then he rolled his eyes.

0:07:440:07:45

And then he stood up, he actually stood up,

0:07:450:07:48

and was extremely pleased with what we had done.

0:07:480:07:51

There's definitely a lot more pressure this time

0:07:510:07:53

because we've already done our twist sort of thing,

0:07:530:07:55

so it's what are we going to do next?

0:07:550:07:57

But we actually do have a few surprises

0:07:570:07:59

up our sleeves for this one.

0:07:590:08:01

This is a completely new routine that we are doing for the semifinal.

0:08:010:08:05

Not only have the judges not seen it,

0:08:050:08:06

nobody has seen it before.

0:08:060:08:08

It is totally new, which makes it ten times scarier,

0:08:080:08:10

because we've never performed it to a live audience before.

0:08:100:08:14

# I don't care

0:08:300:08:32

# I got this feeling on the summer day when you were gone

0:08:320:08:35

# I crashed my car into the bridge

0:08:350:08:37

# I watched, I let it burn

0:08:370:08:39

# I threw your...into a bag... #

0:08:390:08:41

THEY CHEER

0:08:410:08:43

# I crashed my car into the bridge

0:08:430:08:45

# I don't care

0:08:450:08:47

# I love it... #

0:08:470:08:50

We are watching Britain's Got Talent and, as well, it is my birthday.

0:08:500:08:54

Oh, my God.

0:08:580:09:00

'Hey, and now we get a selfie.'

0:09:000:09:03

THEY CHEER

0:09:040:09:06

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:09:100:09:13

THEY CHEER

0:09:130:09:15

Um, I've got two issues. One, I think there should be more of you.

0:09:170:09:21

I also think you need a lead star.

0:09:210:09:24

I think, without those two aspects,

0:09:240:09:25

it's not really going to go anywhere.

0:09:250:09:27

I liked the dancing, but I don't agree with Simon.

0:09:270:09:30

-I can't believe what Simon said.

-Who listens to Simon anyway?

0:09:300:09:34

No. It's up to the public.

0:09:350:09:37

And if this segment of the public have their way,

0:09:410:09:44

Innova are a shoo-in.

0:09:440:09:46

-Oh, I got my vote!

-I voted like 1,000 times.

0:09:470:09:51

I've done it so much my battery is dead now.

0:09:510:09:54

THEY CHEER

0:09:540:09:55

After flooding the phone lines,

0:09:550:09:57

the juniors take to the streets to drum up more votes.

0:09:570:10:01

From right up to the older ones to the younger ones,

0:10:010:10:04

they all look out for each other and they are a family.

0:10:040:10:07

-And that's what it's all about.

-ALL:

-Innova!

0:10:070:10:09

No matter what happens tonight, it's been amazing.

0:10:110:10:13

The journey that those girls have taken everybody on

0:10:130:10:17

has been such fun.

0:10:170:10:18

And let's just hope for the best.

0:10:180:10:20

It comes as no surprise that Innova do well in the public voting,

0:10:220:10:26

and sail into the top three.

0:10:260:10:28

THEY CHEER

0:10:280:10:30

But once again, this places their fate in the hands of Simon Cowell.

0:10:410:10:45

I'm going to give my vote to Lettice.

0:10:500:10:53

No!

0:10:530:10:55

His decision would send the competition to deadlock

0:10:550:10:58

and back to the public vote,

0:10:580:10:59

with competitor Lettice eventually winning out.

0:10:590:11:03

Gutted but so proud of all of them.

0:11:050:11:10

So disappointing for them,

0:11:100:11:11

but they were brilliant, they were brilliant, it doesn't matter.

0:11:110:11:14

It doesn't matter, we are still really proud, so we are.

0:11:140:11:18

Obviously we were disappointed

0:11:250:11:26

because you're so close to getting into the final,

0:11:260:11:29

but on the other hand,

0:11:290:11:30

we were in the final 15 from 60,000 auditionees,

0:11:300:11:34

and that's the thing we have taken away from it.

0:11:340:11:37

Britain's Got Talent was an absolutely amazing experience.

0:11:390:11:42

What Simon said about having a lead dancer

0:11:420:11:44

doesn't really concern us because we don't want to have a lead dancer.

0:11:440:11:47

All of us are equals and we all perform exactly the same way,

0:11:470:11:50

and that's just what we do best.

0:11:500:11:52

Since the Britain's Got Talent semifinal,

0:11:540:11:56

it has just been insane in the best possible way.

0:11:560:12:00

The invites that we have got in,

0:12:000:12:01

there's stuff that we obviously wouldn't have got before.

0:12:010:12:04

We've been exposed to a whole new audience,

0:12:040:12:06

we've been dancing in Italy,

0:12:060:12:08

we've been at open air concerts here,

0:12:080:12:11

corporate events, just a whole range of stuff.

0:12:110:12:14

We are heading off to London,

0:12:160:12:18

that's for a Financial Times corporate event.

0:12:180:12:20

It's a new platform for us,

0:12:210:12:23

we've never performed at something like this before,

0:12:230:12:25

so we'll just go and do our thing and hopefully it goes down well.

0:12:250:12:30

I'm sending all the music that we are going to be using tomorrow.

0:12:300:12:33

We are doing three pieces, so even if we get through one of them,

0:12:330:12:37

with the proper sound, in the rehearsal,

0:12:370:12:39

that sort of will set my mind at ease.

0:12:390:12:41

They're just smaller than we would normally use,

0:12:410:12:43

and as well as that, there's four individual podiums.

0:12:430:12:46

So, four dancers will be out at those podiums,

0:12:460:12:49

and the rest on the stage.

0:12:490:12:50

So we kind of have to re-choreograph certain aspects of it

0:12:500:12:54

to make sure that that all fits in well.

0:12:540:12:56

The following day, the girls are back in London

0:12:590:13:01

for the first time since losing out on Britain's Got Talent.

0:13:010:13:05

Being here is overwhelming. Everything is just so "go, go, go",

0:13:070:13:10

compared to home in Northern Ireland.

0:13:100:13:12

It's nothing like that.

0:13:120:13:13

I'm really interested to see how this audience responds to us,

0:13:130:13:17

just because I would say nobody here has ever seen us before.

0:13:170:13:20

Probably half of them, more than half of them,

0:13:200:13:22

-have never heard of us before.

-If a crowd is sort of...

0:13:220:13:25

SHE CLAPS WEAKLY

0:13:250:13:27

..then it is a bit of a killer for us,

0:13:270:13:28

so hopefully they are in good spirits and enjoying themselves,

0:13:280:13:32

and then we'll enjoy it, too.

0:13:320:13:33

The girls head to the Natural History Museum,

0:13:370:13:39

and with no time for changes,

0:13:390:13:41

they're hoping all their requirements have been met.

0:13:410:13:43

-Oh, it is so massive.

-It looks so pretty.

0:13:500:13:53

Immediately we are so happy with the stage,

0:13:540:13:57

it is so much better than we thought it was going to be. Much bigger.

0:13:570:14:00

We haven't seen the podiums yet,

0:14:000:14:02

but I think they are going to be fine as well,

0:14:020:14:05

so immediately that is a massive relief.

0:14:050:14:08

The surroundings are just amazing.

0:14:080:14:11

I'm so excited. And I'm not even nervous.

0:14:110:14:13

It is looking amazing already,

0:14:130:14:15

so I think it is going to be stunning

0:14:150:14:16

by the time that we're ready to rock tonight.

0:14:160:14:18

Making every moment count, the girls squeeze in a quick rehearsal.

0:14:220:14:26

If you wouldn't mind meeting me, probably on this side,

0:14:320:14:34

I'll get someone from the museum down.

0:14:340:14:36

We'll get you up on stage, we'll dim the lights,

0:14:360:14:38

and then once you give me the thumbs up, we'll raise them and start.

0:14:380:14:41

-Yeah?

-Yeah.

-Great.

0:14:410:14:43

With the guests finally arriving,

0:14:440:14:46

the girls prepare for the star-studded VIP event.

0:14:460:14:49

We want to impress,

0:14:530:14:54

no matter if we are dancing in front of an audience of two people,

0:14:540:14:57

which has happened before,

0:14:570:14:59

or an audience of how many ever people, hundreds of people,

0:14:590:15:02

that are here tonight.

0:15:020:15:03

Even if we get one more contact from tonight,

0:15:030:15:05

that's an absolute bonus for us.

0:15:050:15:07

And you never know where it can take us.

0:15:070:15:09

We love the performance end of it, as you can tell.

0:15:090:15:12

This is our full energy into this.

0:15:120:15:13

Not that we don't with competitive dancing,

0:15:130:15:16

but we all love this part much more.

0:15:160:15:18

One of the girls earlier on was saying

0:15:230:15:24

she felt like being here tonight was like hitting the big-time.

0:15:240:15:28

And do you know, it really is, because it's a massive event.

0:15:280:15:32

It's a bit surreal that we are here.

0:15:320:15:36

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Innova Irish Dance Company.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:17:480:17:52

Absolutely amazing performance.

0:17:550:17:57

Real combination of traditional dance and contemporary music.

0:17:570:18:01

It was awesome.

0:18:010:18:02

People may think we're a bit stuffy, but it was, honestly, outstanding.

0:18:020:18:06

Everyone at my table absolutely loved it.

0:18:060:18:08

I had to follow the girls, like,

0:18:080:18:10

and the audience were up and excited,

0:18:100:18:12

so it made it a lot easier for me tonight.

0:18:120:18:14

It was actually like the Riverdance, but with a whole new vibe.

0:18:140:18:19

Whole...it was amazing.

0:18:200:18:22

Because they done the footwork,

0:18:220:18:24

but they put a bit of a disco twist on it.

0:18:240:18:28

Loved it. Loved it.

0:18:280:18:29

WHOOPING

0:18:290:18:31

How was that for you?

0:18:310:18:32

It went absolutely amazing. I'm so, so pleased.

0:18:340:18:37

For once, no mistakes.

0:18:370:18:38

Not that we're owning up to anyway right now!

0:18:380:18:41

I don't think I've ever performed so well.

0:18:410:18:43

Just the whole atmosphere, the audience,

0:18:430:18:45

and all of us were in such good form,

0:18:450:18:47

so you just fully went for it. It was so good.

0:18:470:18:50

Still on a high from their performance,

0:18:500:18:53

the girls return to the main hall in search of that one valuable contact.

0:18:530:18:57

CHEERING AND WHOOPING

0:18:590:19:01

I can't get on my toes like you.

0:19:010:19:02

-Oh, you can!

-WHOOPING AND CHEERING

0:19:020:19:06

Come on! Come on! Come on!

0:19:090:19:12

-Perfect, it's great. That's great.

-JASON LAUGHS

0:19:120:19:15

-Thank you very much.

-Well done, girls.

0:19:150:19:17

After a long summer of endless performance commitments

0:19:210:19:24

and very little competition practice,

0:19:240:19:26

it's time for a number of the Innova seniors to face the music

0:19:260:19:29

at the Northern Ireland Irish Dancing Championships.

0:19:290:19:32

Under 16's competitor Ailish Deeney

0:19:350:19:37

plans to take this routine in front of the adjudicators.

0:19:370:19:40

APPLAUSE

0:20:200:20:22

After a successful solo performance, Ailish rejoins her fellow dancers

0:20:260:20:30

and it's clear the group feel more comfortable when they're together.

0:20:300:20:34

I can't remember what dancing's like without these two.

0:20:340:20:37

They've just been a part of it all.

0:20:370:20:39

And we got a lot closer during Britain's Got Talent as well,

0:20:390:20:42

because we just spent so much time together. We were like inseparable.

0:20:420:20:45

Whenever we went home we were like, "Oh, I miss each other!"

0:20:450:20:48

All lonely.

0:20:480:20:50

Yeah, we had no-one to play with.

0:20:500:20:52

Courtney is also dancing solo tonight

0:21:030:21:05

in the under 17s championship

0:21:050:21:07

and she too has found it difficult

0:21:070:21:09

to switch between performance and competition modes.

0:21:090:21:12

Going from this competition

0:21:150:21:16

to events like the National History Museum

0:21:160:21:19

and Britain's Got Talent,

0:21:190:21:20

you're out there to perform, entertain.

0:21:200:21:22

As we're here in Northern Ireland, it's a total different story.

0:21:220:21:26

Everyone's watching you, this school, competition, you know,

0:21:260:21:29

and it's very difficult to live up to the standards.

0:21:290:21:32

But with the competition imminent,

0:21:320:21:35

Courtney hopes that when the judges see this routine

0:21:350:21:38

they'll be impressed.

0:21:380:21:40

APPLAUSE

0:22:150:22:17

After a very long day of competing,

0:22:200:22:22

it's time for the girls to see if their love of performance

0:22:220:22:26

has dashed their competition hopes.

0:22:260:22:28

-ANNOUNCER:

-Adjudicator A gave first grades to number 9.

0:22:290:22:33

Adjudicator B gave first grades to number 12.

0:22:350:22:37

-Adjudicator C gave first grades to number 9.

-Yes!

0:22:400:22:44

In first place, with a total of 26 points,

0:22:480:22:52

number 9, Courtney McAlister from Innova.

0:22:520:22:55

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:22:550:22:59

'I just won the dance championships under 17 and I am ecstatic.'

0:23:060:23:11

To win the Northern Irelands, it's everything.

0:23:110:23:13

I haven't been dancing well lately,

0:23:130:23:15

but then I just gave it all tonight -

0:23:150:23:17

might as well, nothing to lose -

0:23:170:23:18

and it paid off.

0:23:180:23:20

Courtney also do took first place with Ailish in the two-hand...

0:23:220:23:25

..and again in the three-hand with Lauren.

0:23:270:23:29

Ailish also took the top spot in the under 16's category.

0:23:300:23:34

Proud teacher Catherine leaves with an armful of trophies, too.

0:23:360:23:40

I'm so overwhelmed by the results and how they danced

0:23:420:23:46

and I'm just so pleased that all the hard work and everything they put in

0:23:460:23:49

has kind of, you know, they've got back now what they deserve from it.

0:23:490:23:52

On nights like this, you love competition as much as performance.

0:23:520:23:55

-Yes!

-We can't complain.

0:23:550:23:58

After a busy season of performance and competition commitments,

0:24:020:24:05

the girls finally return to their beloved hometown of Portstewart

0:24:050:24:09

to take on their toughest challenge yet -

0:24:090:24:12

an open-air performance

0:24:120:24:14

to an eager crowd of motorcycle enthusiasts.

0:24:140:24:16

Portstewart is known for its stunning promenade

0:24:200:24:23

and its variety of windswept golf courses,

0:24:230:24:25

but its biggest event by far is the annual North West 200,

0:24:250:24:30

and Innova are kicking off the main event.

0:24:300:24:32

Over 150,000 motorcycle fans from around the globe

0:24:340:24:38

have converged on the tiny coastal town

0:24:380:24:40

over the course of the week-long event,

0:24:400:24:42

culminating with today's final race.

0:24:420:24:45

The Innova girls are making the short walk

0:24:470:24:49

from Catherine's home to the racing grid,

0:24:490:24:51

where local celebrity DJ Brian Moore is busy warming up the crowd.

0:24:510:24:56

Are you able to stamp your feet

0:24:580:24:59

and clap your hands above your head at the same time?

0:24:590:25:02

One, two, one, two, one, two.

0:25:020:25:05

Get the feet stamping. Come on!

0:25:050:25:07

I think it will go down a storm,

0:25:090:25:10

because the crowd aren't expecting it.

0:25:100:25:12

It's so out there, so left field, to have Irish dancers

0:25:120:25:16

on the starting grid of the North West 200.

0:25:160:25:19

I mean, it's... I think it's going to be amazing.

0:25:190:25:22

-Hi, ladies!

-Hello!

0:25:220:25:24

-You're very welcome.

-Thank you.

0:25:240:25:26

We're going to bring out some guests here

0:25:260:25:28

and we're going to start the North West 200

0:25:280:25:31

as it's never been started before, OK?

0:25:310:25:34

Right, go, go, go. Good luck.

0:25:340:25:36

We need you clapping your hands and stamping your feet along to it.

0:25:360:25:39

Please welcome... Give a round of applause for the Innova dancers!

The Innova dancers kicking off big style the North West 200, 2015.

0:26:560:27:02

There is always something very special about

0:27:020:27:04

doing something that's local,

0:27:040:27:06

to get together with the town, and be part of that

0:27:060:27:09

and showcase another bit of Portstewart,

0:27:090:27:12

because that's essentially I suppose what we are.

0:27:120:27:14

You're going to something like the North West,

0:27:140:27:16

where bikers are at it, so you want to deliver something

0:27:160:27:19

they're going to be able to relate to,

0:27:190:27:21

so whether that's putting in biker music or, you know,

0:27:210:27:24

a few different moves.

0:27:240:27:25

We are pushing to achieve the best we possibly can.

0:27:260:27:30

We're never going to be just happy with what we're doing.

0:27:300:27:34

That's been our dream from the start, so, you know,

0:27:340:27:37

we'll absolutely just keep on going,

0:27:370:27:39

doing the best that we can for us

0:27:390:27:41

and for festival dancing and Irish dancing in general.

0:27:410:27:44

If Innova can keep on going the way that it has for the past year,

0:27:470:27:50

that would be the absolute dream.

0:27:500:27:52

For us to still be this busy next year, in five years' time,

0:27:520:27:55

in ten years' time, fantastic.

0:27:550:27:58

If we can build on top of that, you know,

0:27:580:28:00

particularly in terms of maybe more international gigs -

0:28:000:28:04

tradition with a twist, international.
