Tonight, we are live from Television Centre!

CHEERING It's a very excited audience. We

are the warm up. What we hope it will be the biggest ever Children

In Need. After eight days and 411 gruelling miles, our brilliant Team

Rickshaw will cross the finishing line later on. We have Pudsey there.

We have some of Team GB medallists and of course, their lovely

families. It's going to be very, very emotional. What better way to

start our show than with one of the biggest bands in the world. Can you

hear the screams. Welcome One Direction!

CHEERING Hi boys. Nice to have you here. A

lot of fans, weirdly. I wasn't expecting that one. You've probably

heard about our six brilliant youngsters and what they've done

this week from Llandudno to London tonight. If you were doing the

Rickshaw Challenge, who would be the keen peddler? Liam. He's very

competitive. Who is the most lazy? Zane. Would you be too busy doing

your hair? No, just I probably would stop off somewhere and hope

the boys didn't realise. And who would be the coach then? Who's the

bossy one? I think Louis would have motivational chants. You're agreed,

gone stratospheric. What a great word. You can use that one. You've

right, yes. Why do you think it's worked so well for you there?

you get? Is it scary sometimes? Absolutely. You never expect to see

a lot of people screaming at you and stuff. We love it though. It's

CHEERING It's lovely. It's so nice, isn't

it? It's going to be, it's been a busy 2012. 2013, I believe you guys

are on tour and is it a sell out already? Erm... In most places yes.

You haven't got one ticket left for me? Yeah, we could squeeze one.

Brilliant. Thank you very much. Before the end of the show we would

like you to launch the big Children In Need number. Will you do that?

That would be amazing. Yes. In the meantime, this is how Team Rickshaw

felt today with the finish line in sight. Celebrities have been doing

it for years. This time it's been different. Six young people with

determination and a belief in their abilities, pushing themselves for

others in need. Lauren, Darren, Ciaran, gentleman milla, Jack and

James -- Jamilla, Jack and James, with just one day head of them with

Team Rickshaw. We're facing incredible hills. We've faced

terrible weather and now we're about to face horrific traffic.

Less than 38 miles to go now. know. If you think back then and

there's one moment that sticks out in your mind... It was when I

arrived in Bath. Seeing my dad there on the stage. It was just a

great feeling. We've had a tough year, but we've supported each

other throughout. What was the worst bit? Probably all the hills

in Wales. They took their toll. There was still more hills to come.

Come on Jack. This is your last mile. Gosh. How do you sum it up?

Tgz a fantastic journey. I've enjoyed every bit of it. That, my

friend, is that. Excellent. Where exactly are we heading? Windsor

Castle. Excellent. For the changing of the guard. You think changing of

the guard. I think cup of tea with the Queen. It was time for a change

of rider too. Come on Windsor, no I meant come on James. I'm tired. I'm

tired. Did this all turn out like you thought it would? It's been

really hard, but I don't know, I've just enjoyed it. What's been the

best thing about the whole experience depor you? I think the

people. I liked the atmosphere. CAR HONKS HORN

In Windsor Team Rickshaw were in for a surprise. We had the

privilege of joining the Coldstream Guards on parade. Attention! With

that push, the rest of our six reflect on what a week it's been.

How's that, a bit easier? Yeah. thought we'd put a few hills in for

you Lauren. Because it's your last bit. You're so kind! Can you

believe it's nearly over? I'm going to miss everyone. What would you

like to do next? More challenges, keep them coming. That is it.

Has it changed you in any way? I think I'll be more willing to do

stuff like this in the future. I really enjoyed it. Even the bits

that have been tough, I enjoyed them as well. This was a great

experience with some really great people. Some parts were hard, but

we managed to pull through and get to the end. What's it been like

having your dad here as well? seen me grow up and what we've been

through together, to see me do something like this must make him

quite proud. It's been such a great experience. I didn't think that I'd

make it to the end. Why? Because when I hurt my knee and my back,

usually in a normal circumstance I'd be like, no, I'm not doing it.

I thought that I couldn't let the team down, so I had to push on. For

me to be a part of this, such a big thing and for us as a team, to work

together, knowing that Children In Need has helped us all and to be

able to get that support from It certainly has been a big thing.

Now then, the rickshaw is about to arrive. All the families are here

already. We have Jamilla's mum and sister here. Here is Sydney. We've

not met you before, Darren's brother. No, not yet. You've been

following their challenge all week. Very closely indeed, yes. What did

you make of it? Fantastic what they've done, what they've overcome,

the barriers they've broken down to all, each all have their own

personal challenges and they've done exceedingly well. Darren has

really pushed himself. Oh, he has. He's done well. While we were on

the bike yesterday, he spoke specifically about Jamie, who

you've brought with you tonight? Yeah, my guide dog, of course.

you think Darren would be able to complete the challenge in the style

that he has done it? Not the style and not to the high standard that

he has done. He's just proved us all wrong, not just me, my mum, dad,

the whole family. He's done excellent. You should be very proud.

You know what, the big moment has arrived. I can now reveal that Matt

and Team Rickshaw are coming around that corner! Over to you Matt.

it. Unbelievable, my word. Isn't it wonderful that they've decided to

do it together with Darren getting off. Come on over. Families come on

Ian! It is so good to see you again. Your boy, obviously, Jack here,...

Unbelievable. It's fantastic. I think so proud of him. So proud of

everything he's done and all of the guys. They've been amazing. What a

team. And Sam, Jack's sister. You can tell you're his sister. Don't

say that. What do you make of what your brother has done? I think it's

absolutely amazing. Considering what he's been through, something

like this, I never thought he would do something like this ever. He's

proved everyone wrong and everyone who has done the Rickshaw Challenge

are inspiration aling. It's brilliant. Everybody are --

inspirational. It's brilliant. Sydney is here Darren's brother.

Hello. Nice to meet you. What do all your family back home make of

what your brother has done? Absolutely outstanding. The

barriers they've overcome, the great heights, they've pushed

themselves. Absolutely overwhelmed, the whole family is outstanding,

they've done exceedingly well. Darren, and the whole team. Darren

was saying to me, he cannot wait to see the dog. So there we are.

raise money for Children In Need. Evenlet -- even the Olympians,

Rebecca Adlington and Anthony Ogogo having a bake-off.

Commonwealth and Olympic medal winner Anthony Ogogo. This summer

they worked their socks off at London 2012. Today it's just as

hard as they face the Children In Need cake bake challenge. Rebecca

and Pete's team have helped from zed arts in Manchester. Kerry an

and Antony's reds have bakers from home start in Soth Ribble. Both

organisations have benefited from Children In Need. You have an hour-

and-a-half to bake 200 cakes each. So with the help of champion baker

Sandra, teams, let's bake! The public will eat the cakes later and

decide how much they want to donate. The team that raises the most money,

they win. As our teams get stuck in, I spy an expert. Do you do a lot of

baking? I love it, yes. Looks like the blue team have an immediate

advantage in Rebecca's cooking skills, whereas the red team, they

seem intent on getting the mixture everywhere. Try to keep the mix in

the bowl please. Look at the mess everywhere. Yeah, we're getting

stuck in. The kids are making less mess than you though. Spoke too

soon. The blue team are cleaner and more organised. You're doing well.

Red team, you seem to be taking it less seriously than the blue team,

if you don't mind me saying. As time runs out it's about remaining

focus. Olympic athletes know all about that - don't they? It's the

little rascals. It's the big rascal. Oi! The ovens are hotting up and so

is the rivally. -- rivalry. Clean down, now. While the cakes are

baking, our teams get ahead with the decorations. Hot tray coming

I think it is meant to be Pudsey! This is the new Team GB. They are

out of time. Let's get them to market!

Tory market has been trading for 500 years but I am willing to bet

they have never had Olympians selling their food here!

This will help Children In Need, are you ready?! Let's see some

donations for Children In Need! Both teams have the same amount of

cakes to shift but which athletes will go the extra mile to bring in

the cash? The Blue Team are a lot nicer than the red team! They are

part of Team GB but today they are on opposite sides. I have a range

from a mystery taster to come but I think Rebecca has recognised him.

Didn't you winner the British Baker of? She is star-struck! Not bad,

look at that. It is a little bit dry. The blue team have got a

better bake. Neisse flavour. -- nicer. The blue team have got it.

Anybody else want some cupcakes? Delicious! Anybody?! Team GB,

I can't believe how much has been raised for Children In Need. One

punching the air as if you had just won another Olympic medal!

We have got something for you, congratulations. It is a bit bigger

venue Olympic medal. APPLAUSE We haven't got time to

play the national anthem. This is not the last be would see a

few tonight because the Olympians have come together to work on a

special project. We got asked to do a little dance, to all go out of

our comfort zone and do a special dance, so I did a bit of swimming,

and I am not a dancer! Did they say, show us what you can do? And adapt

it? I was with Ellie Simmonds. We were trying to come up a dance with

swimming in it and there is only one! That is all we could do!

me and Nicola Adams, then we busted some moves together! I was pulling

out some dance moves I have not done since the school disco!

Brilliant, isn't it. You are still within your sport then? Not mixing

boxing and swimming? Dancing is as far out of my comfort zone as I can

So was this the first time you had met some of the other Olympians?

Quite a lot of us know each other from the Olympic Games. We met some

people in Beijing. But it is always nice to come together and get to

know each other. I have enjoyed it over the past few months. And with

the home games, you have been given to all sorts of premieres and

things like that! We have a lovely photo of you in a very nice dress!

Twilight, yeah. It was amazing! I am a big fan! What are the plans?

Back in the gym, training hard. I have got a big decision to make

whether to turn professional so I am thinking of my options. Where

are you? I am flitting between the two. London was such a successful

stock it was amazing to be part of Team GB and to do that again would

be brilliant. But I nearly failed to qualify for London so you never

know what is coming to happen. But I could try to turn professional...

A at the moment, just concentrate on the dancing, which people can

see later on in Children In Need. Also up on stage, the best girl

band of the 21st century, Girls Aloud! Yes! Also, random. Lord

Sugar is visiting the Queen Vic. And Russell Brand will be with Anne

Widdecombe on the dance floor! We've NTC two blokes who have taken

raising money for Children In Need to new heights -- we went to see.

This is a pole but no ordinary pole. Two electricity engineers from

Swansea, for them, the top of this pole will be home for the next 24

hours! They plan to stay up there for two days and two nights to

raise money for Children In Need, without a break! Best of luck.

boys are in for sleep deprivation, muscle cramps and exposure to the

elements so it is my job to keep their spirits up and their stomachs

full! Just 40 the hours to go! Sleep tight and we will see you in

the morning! -- 48 hours! Thursday. I have just had a cup of tea and it

is starting to rain, but other than that, it is all good. All the best,

hairy chest. The next day. Mike and Jason have survived the first night

but they are tired and hungry so why have a range of a Michelin-

starred chef, Stephen Terry, to give them a treat -- so I have

arranged. It is a fantastic world breakfast, sausages, lava bread,

black pudding, it is a no-brainer. Probably the first time ever an

award-winning chef has served up a meal in a bucket. Make sure you eat

the bread! My favourite! And but there is not much to do up a pole

and boredom could be what brings Mike and Jason down to earth, so I

am going to lay on the entertainment! I know Mike is into

heavy rock, the van Hagen, so I have got them top music legends,

Steps! # Tragedy # # It is hard to bed,

when no one can love you #. Steps are doing their stuff to keep

them entertained, and the collection tins are filling up fast.

I will not be able to sleep tonight, it is so exciting! We thought we

had to come to Swansea and perform on top of a bus! As night falls, I

Welcome, Team Rickshaw! Honestly, all of us were together today and

we said it was so hard to pick up the key moments and to try to sum

it up because it will be impossible, but we have picked out a few little

highlights for a few of you. Shall we start with James? This was

descending from 1200 UMPIRE: Game and set, in glorious weather!

Look at the state of the weather -- how did you feel? They retired. It

was extremely hard. I just had to get to the top. We was that the

hardest point? Definitely. Jamilla, the hardest thing we you was

overcoming your fear of heights. The weather was not great but you

would not look out the right home I was more wobbly then you!

conquered them? A little bit. The bridge is not that high when I look

at it now. Hopefully. Look at the relief on their faces! Having done

411 miles, extraordinary. But in the middle of the week, Ciaran, we

thought we were going to use you because you got a bit tired. Yes.

- lose you. But then I got some energy. And managed to carry on and

I am so glad that I did. It has been fantastic. All we can say it

is good effort. We kept saying, time after time, good effort. Lots

of people were on the streets as well. They have sent photos.

Lamonte sent this in of Lauren riding through Westbury. This shot

of Darren freewheeling down St Mellons Hill in Cardiff was taken

by Jim Trace. And this emotional group hug was captured in Swansea

by Rhys Evans. That was denied Ciaran crossed the line in Swansea
